Mini Guide- NML Shooting

Vzual Venom's a great player, a friend of our very own ChopperNator as well. I just wanted to show you this as proof of the best way to shoot zombies on No Man's Land.

You want to shoot the zombies when they are crescent-shaped; make sure you see an opening in the center with the way they're grouped. This way, your bullets hit the very center of the group, doing the most damage to those clustered, but additionally, the splash damage is maximized. When you're shooting directly at the zombies, kind of like with a direct impact shot, you are losing valuable splash damage.

Mustang and Sally do 1200 damage to one zombie, plus 1200 splash damage to zombies near the explosion. The outer zombies receive less damage, obviously. Thanks to Eagle's Orbit for the numbers as well as DuckCall00.

The amount of zombies affected by the inner area of explosion is increased when they are shaped like a crescent. Picture the crescent like this:

The black is the center of the inner explosion, so basically, you are hitting most of the zombies with the full blast of 1200 per shot, or 2400 if you'd prefer those numbers (since most of us shoot two shots at a time).

Compare this to shooting a straight-ish line of zombies:

That's absolutely horrible! You basically only hit a few zombies with the full force of the inner explosion, then on two other ends, you're just hitting the rest with the outer edge. You also miss the zombies at the tail end of the train.

Essentially, you are just wasting kills each time you shoot a shot like in the second diagram. So, my advice is to watch the video, but also, practice running your tight circles, as when you are on the side of your circle, you'll catch your zombies like the first picture.

However, all this needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Running around for another 2-3 seconds to get your train in a crescent shape is perfect and will usually net you more kills. If you're taking nearly 10 seconds just to get your train like the first diagram it isn't worth it.

I hope this helps you guys!
