  1. Sirens, as in the noise it makes when you throw a monkey bomb on a teleporter? I start hearing odd sounds in the upper to mid 30s, I sorta think they are bugs as I've seen my hands and weapon have a glow affect to them too, texture bugs. I really wish I knew what round this guy made it to that took the green light screen shot.
  2. Quick tip! You can knife like a mad man if you slightly hold back on the analog, during insta kills you can just mow them down, almost as fast as you can knife you will recover. Also, jumping and knifing seems to have no delay reaction to the next melee attempt. Didn't think it was topic worthy so there ya go...

I knew the backward moving one but not the jumping, thanks for the tip

  3. Does anyone know if that weapon is available in SoE? I don't think it is, I saw someone asking on a youtube video where to get the gun, as he wanted a new reticle and the uploader said it was on Giant, but the guy said he didn't have the Giant, nobody told him where to find it on SoE so I'm assuming it's not there?
  4. My theory is it's not the furnace room that is "haunted" Samantha is not dead, so therefor it couldn't be her. Besides she was teleported in the "A" area of Der Riese. So we're not even close to where she perished. If you notice in the spawn area, the boardable area that leads down stairs, I'm pretty sure that's where Dr. Maxis's office leads to. You can see a plate on the wall that directs you to his room. He had an assistant other than Rictofen, a female named Sophia. Who was more of a desk assistant I'd guess, as she telegraphs the message to Reichstag High Command about lack of funding in the first radios from W@W and BO1. They shared a loose relationship together, but Maxis ended that to keep his mind on his work. Now we've never seen his office, but being the man that leads Group 935, I doubt it would be a small one. My guess is it's either the ghost of Sophia or a memory stuck in replay of the fall of Der Riese. It reminds me of the bar in Tranzit, you can hear multiple people in panic if you stand in a certain spot in the building, I assumed it was the final moments of Green Run, and the same would apply here. Or an even crazier theory is, Samantha trapped Sophia's energy in this place either because A: She wanted a new mom or B: Samantha wasn't a fan of her flirting with her father so she trapped her so Maxis affection would be more focused on his daughter. No really plausible but it popped in my head as I was finishing lol
  5. I was curious as to the PaP'd name and it seems to be the "Anointed Avenger" Never heard of that name before so I looked it up. -smear or rub with oil, typically as part of a religious ceremony. "high priests were anointed with oil" I thought it was cool that it has a religious reference to it, being we are dealing with what seems to be hell. Another definition is to be anointed a title, such as king, leader, or savior. Thought I'd throw that out there....*shrug :
  6. Well that's what I'll be doing tonight then. I just figured that green light was a result of finishing the SoE easter egg. Just not down to do that dance again.... Cool info though, thanks for the heads up :P
  7. Haymaker is such a good weapon. We need to set up a match soon Naitrax, I've done nothing but Giant since I bought the game so you get to teach me to SoE, congratulations ;)
  8. I hope this doesn't end up being another "light the spires" thing.... If we have to wait for all DLCs then I'll be a little let down.
  9. Also don't forget about traps....you won't get points but it never loses it's ability to one hit kill enemies. I watched a friend back in the day get to round 96 on Shi no numa with a DG2, and traps. He would buy random wall weapons to hoard points with, then use a trap. The same can be applied here, more or less without the DG2 though, or any wunder weapon for that matter (except monkey bombs) Weapon abilities are the key now. Blast furnace, and turned are your savior weapon abilities....you can almost kill a whole horde with a few bullets, let the fire chain and they all fall down (lulz)
  10. It's definitely less powerful than it used to be, and now that PaP makes it a crawler maker, it's best to just not PaP it at all... As someone who has never liked using the weapon, I can't be bothered to hope for a fix. You're right about one thing, many other weapons are better than the DG2 or 3, I've been really satisfied with how powerful shotguns are in the Giant now, the PaP'd haymaker is a life saver if you get cornered, quite overpowered in my opinion but I'm not complaining lol
  11. So is this a solo only bug? I've been fortunate enough to not experience it myself, even though I play solo about 80% of the time.
  12. I hold the power switch door to round 10, usually I can open everything up and get a perk or two. I also buy the VMP beforehand, just a personal choice. After 10 rounds I run circles either near the power switch, or near teleporter C (near bowie knife/box spawn). A word of advice in running the power area though, keep the mobs as close to the left side as possible, left side facing toward the center of map that is. When running on the right side don't get too close to the walls or you'll either get stuck on debris, or you'll get cut off near the buyable door heading toward C, as zombies come from both sides of this door, keep a little wiggle room in case one pops around the corner, you can cut in between them and head towards teleporter C room, then follow WCRobinsons strategy. It's not too difficult to combine these two areas, in an almost figure 8 style, and now that there is no fall damage, you can easily train them up the catwalk and jump off to horde them near the power switch. If anyone has a good furnace room strategy I'd like to hear it as well, that used to be my favorite spot in Der Riese, now for some odd reason I can't hold it at all, even on low rounds lol
  13. Nice screenshots! It's probably nothing, but I'll definitely play with these in game items tonight after work. Also, is that frag grenade the ones we use in zombies? Looks awful futuristic
  14. What do you mean the monkeys are fixed? Can you run through a pile of them now without them agrroing? If it wasn't for the secret perk machine, I wouldn't even bother with getting monkey bombs now....unless they make it like the old way where you can get close to them and they ignore you.
  15. I've uploaded it and applied it to your signature, so it's served from the site rather than a hotlink.
  16. I'm sure most of you know, there are quote compilations of every character on youtube. I went through most of them last night, so much stuff to remember, I'm going to go through it again and write the ones I think are most helpful. It would be nice if someone could compile them into the actual conversations between characters too.

  17. Did we lose the media center?? Can't find the art threads *hyperventilating

    1. Hells Warrrior

      Hells Warrrior

My fault, sorry, I disabled that but now active again.

  18. I'm not too into the process of adding pictures to forums...but I was wondering why all of a sudden my Takeo sig doesn't show up anymore. Ya'll can't be forgetting to fear the laugh of the honorable.....
  19. I like it better this way, not that I was at all offended, it just looks like a stronger logo to me now. Plus the arm has three marks, and that's Treyarch's little signature so let's just all assume G935 has been Treyarch all along.
  20. I don't think they are merging WITH themselves, just turning into this reality's version. Richtofen is the same, in early rounds he says how he doesn't get pleasure from killing zombies anymore, but the upper 20s/30s he is screaming about how he is the doctor and all the crazy stuff about killing. It's purely 115 poisoning, it makes you crazy and that's all that is happening here, why two years from now I have no idea.....
  21. Has anyone noticed that as you play on the Giant, sometimes your hands, and part of your weapon will get a blue/yellow glow effect? I'm at work right now so I can't show anyone at this moment. The only two times I've broke 30 rounds I start to notice the glow, if anyone remembers the crazy lighting effects on Elder scrolls: Oblivion it's like that, I used to know the name for it but forgotten. I just wanted to address it and see if anyone else is noticing it. It's probably a glitch but the theorist part of me wants to believe that something can be triggered as you break into higher rounds, I mean, the quotes between the characters don't stop in those rounds so there is definitely a chance. I didn't get to look around the map much, or test weapons out on the environment because in our 3 man group, one was asleep by round 28 so we were just fighting for our lives lol. Also, if anyone has seen this on Shadows of Evil let me know, I really haven't been playing that map as much as I should be, I think my highest round was 12. But if it's showing up in that map, it should be a good debunk to my half arsed theory.
  22. It has actually hooked me in, something the BO2 campaign couldn't do in the first hour of playing (as far as I wanted to play BO2 campaign). I'm almost finished with it, but I'm already wanting to do my second playthrough. 8/10 for me.
  23. I like it. As with 99% of remixes, it isn't as good as the original but it works nonetheless. Plus I love electronic music so I guess that's why I don't mind.
  24. Who new that baked beans was a zombie deterrent? I did.

  25. I don't think it's done yet either, and this is the first time I've looked at easter egg steps. Perhaps something to do with the clock?
