  1. Why the facepalm? This is really cool. I'd also been wondering about this guy.
  2. It's fun to see the Box cultists in their little three-person prayer circles around it, each one vying for it's blessing.
  3. I'm positive that the people I play with are in some kind of cult that worship the Mystery Box. I think I've been able to learn some rules through observation. THESE ARE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF THE ALMIGHTY MYSTERY BOX. 1: Thou shalt not open any doors unless I await you. 2: Thou shalt worship me, and only me, as the key to your victory. These beings known as "Perks" and "strategies" are false prophets, and following them can only lead to your destruction. 3: Thou shalt bestow all points upon me, for by this tribute your faith in me is proven. 4: Those who deny me shalt not be revived. 5: Giving points unto other beings, such as the False Prophets, shall lead to your destruction. 6: My bounty is plenty, give unto me any weapons you do not desire, for you will surely get a better one next time. 7: Follow me, and only me, wherever I may roam. 8: And unto those who have been overtaken, and are not followers of the Almighty Box, who have refused it's ominescence and Forsaken themselves in doing so, offer no help, and no pity. 9: Thou shalt spin around three times, dive to prone and shoot all four corners. 10: He totally stole that Wundergun from you.
  4. What if there's another care package INSIDE this care package?
  5. I have two fears. 1: There's no Knife-Aid. 2: There's more Avenged Sevenfold.
  6. I agree with everything Xp said except the part when he apologized. And the first part. I hate this idea.
  7. We make a Legends group and everyone in it leaves shortly after.
  8. Dont be like that, Bob. Wikipedia's only a bad source if you use it wrong. Always check the sources.
  9. Protip: "I know for a fact" and "I didn't check for sources" are not two phrases you want int the same place. EDIT: no sources to be found on the campaign tidbit. And on a wiki, (especially the COD one) that means that information is absolutely worthless and shoukdn't be believed for a second. Or something. Still. I win.
  10. No matter what the developers say, this is COD. The campaign would probably be too short or something along those lines to incorporate this. There is also the possibility that these "impactful choices" and such could be nothing more than what happened in Mass Effect 3 or Fable 3.
  11. Knife-Aid Treyarch. Knife-Aid. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21019&hilit=Knife+Aid
  12. You commit Thread Necromancy just to insult me? Anyone who's seen any of the hundreds of Campaign threads knows I say that on all of them, more as a joke as anything else, but it still rings true.
  13. Is everyone here forgetting about KNIFE-AID? You stand corrected period.
  14. EVERYONE noticed. I'm sure someone over looked it... I was simply saying that it was obvious in a less-than-kind manner. But yes. I'm sure SOMEONE overlooked it.
  15. It actually hasn't changed. Knifing is the same as before. If you spawn with no Primary (or no weapons at all?) you will be holding a knife in front of you. It's asthetic. And badass.
  16. It IS in the background. You just have to turn the volume up to ridiculous levels to hear it.
  17. I read to the part about that Avenged thing and stopped reading. NO.
  18. Metal can't be atmospheric no matter how hard it tries. It's just not built for it. Gothic or classical would be good choices if you want atmosphere. Actually yes. PUT CLASSICAL MUSIC INTO THE GAME! Or at least something like this:
  19. This topic has been brought up before. Please use the search function before posting.
  20. I read that as sarcastic, but if you are serious, my question is WHY? There is no point in NOT making a song for the map that will have the longest development time and have the biggest gap to other dlc. People love finding the songs, people enjoy listening to the songs, people like hiding how to activate the songs, and we like to analyze the songs. As a developer you don't just say, "hey, let's take out this thing that everyone loves for the sake of doing it!" You just don't do that. Because If people like stuff, you put it in the next game. Because you only get one chance to get things right until DLC comes out. Let's then speak of how little resources are needed. Good song lyrics can be written in under half an hour, if you get on a roll. Music comes next. This can be written in a few weeks or less (depending on the song's length and how much time these people have, which, considering this is their job, they have allt) Flying Elena into record and sending her back: 1 day (Sherwood has stated in a questionnaire that this is the hardest part) Recording vocals -5 minutes ("FIRST TAKE LIKE A MOTHER******!") Recording drum machine and instrumental: An hour or two. Mixing: I'm not familiar with this process. Most of this done by one person or a small team. A team that doesn't even work on building the game. Next you have to recycle the code that lets you activate it and hide the rocks in plain sight. (they probably spread have spots made on the map beforehand idlf they're smart). How long do you think that takes. So you have a grand total of 4-5 days max. And a few hours max from the actual development team.
  21. Yes because I'm sure they'd remove a classic staple of the series that would take less than a a month to put in the game and could be easily coded into a map just because you want to be cynical.
  22. The map will have a song. The reason Der Riese had one at all is because of the Kino pushback.
  23. This may seem rude, but it's the correct way to think about it. You want a tease. Who cares? Let Treyarch market THEIR game the way THEY want too. Of course hype has died down. We've known about it quite a few months. Besides. You do have your teaser. They showed us the map in the progress of making it a while back. Analyze that if you're so desperate.
  24. Indeed. Please stop complaining about tweets. They aren't even hinting at zombies. You see someone say that they're doing something non-specific or something and you think "ZOMBIES!" When it was never meant to be about sombies. You are creating your own dissapointment by expecting too much. Treyarch knows that people want zombies reveals, so of course they're going to do them near the end. Just feel lucky you're getting a new game, and stop whining that you can't see zombies early.
