The way its set out just makes me think its nothing bad, the way they've used ''Iron wolf project'' instead of just ''Iron wolf'' sort of suggests that it is a group of people trying to find information on this supposed CoD 9 Iron wolf game, making it into a ''Project'' for them. And when they do find info, they would distribute this 'Newsletter'. I do hope Treyarch will be making CoD 9, i really enjoyed black ops multiplayer.

Just because von and treyarch have confirmed it nothing to do with them, doesn't mean this website is bad. I suppose we wont really know until they send out these ''Newsletters'' to the peoples email's that have been submitted to them.

I'd like to see these maps with the WaW guns in the box and on the wall, I'd also like to see the winters howl to be much more powerful (like 2 hit freeze or something) Its unfair that every other map has a WW thats always 1 shot kill except Five and Verruckt. I'd like to see the black ops maps with the black ops guns in and on the wall, with the addition of ALL the perks, also the 4 perks origional on nacht aswell+ packapunch on the 3 maps without it. All 11 maps should somehow be re-mastered and in BO2. Double tap should be in ascension, i don't understand why its not, in my eyes its one of the best ones. Doing circles round verruckt on round 20+ getting trapped with only a thompson, thats when double tap comes in handy :lol:

I think all 11 maps should be included into the hardened and prestige editions and then released either all together in a DLC for around £20? Or released one by one with new zombie/multiplayer maps. -
I use Predator, Reaper, AC-130. Once you get the reaper you can almost guarantee that you will get an AC-130 unless your taking cover in a open wide place were your visible. On the maps Arkaden, Hardhat and Underground i recommend you DON'T use them. The reaper on Arkaden is absolutely awful, i was playing domination with my friend and got 2 reapers, both of which got me no kills because of the lack of outside space. So for these maps i use Predator, assault drone and juggernaut. The assault drone is pretty bad in my eyes but if i play it right i can probably get the 5 kills necessary for juggernaut. I only use the predator on those maps for the slight chances of getting kills when the other team is taking flags, but even thats hard if your view of the map is bad and you can't see because of tall buildings.

I agree, MW3 didn't have enough new features to keep it fresh. Black ops had wager matches, cod points, zombies, combat training, interactive maps, theater mode, the equipment slot, split screen online play, objective based stats in the scoreboard (captures/defends etc). MW3 brought strike chains, removed equipment slot, removed objective stats in the scoreboard, removed cod points/wager matches (they made wager match modes private match only) removed interactive maps, removed combat training and brought back kills from killstreaks counting towards another killstreak. So i agree with the MW3 is just a MW2.5

Im confused, is this like a fan based forum or supposed to be the actual cod 9 website? Personally i think it looks legit if it were to be the website .

What are your Multiplayer suggestions? I'd like to see special killstreak rewards that can only be obtained by playing the objective, this basically gives players an incentive to play the objective instead of running around in a game of domination going 30/5 with 1 capture. Something like, 1 capture is 1 point towards your next reward and then your second capture could be a Motar strike on one point on the map or something. Just something little that wont make objective based games full of airstrikes and choppers, something that might get you about 1-3 kills but also helps towards the objective. Kills from killstreaks not counting towards your next killstreak. This for me is a yes they should and no they shouldn't, Because getting a kill from a double kill from a predator to get your chopper dosen't bother me at all; but getting 8 kills from your reaper to get an osprey gunner does, because theres hardly any effort at all in that. Also killstreaks worth the kills you got to get them, no way is a strafe run worth 9 kills likewise with the AH-6 overwatch. Make maps that different guns will work on. Tight cornered maps for shotguns, Normal size for assault rifles and SMG'S and slightly bigger for LMG's and snipers. So the game isnt completely run by Assault rifles and SMG'S. Also, quickscoping should be nerfed it completely defeats the point of a sniper (in my eyes anyway, alot of people will disagree) Add a perk for quickscoping so on small maps theres not loads of quickscopers getting reapers and AC-130's constantly. bring back the equipment slot! I personally dont like having to choose between claymores and grenades or Jammers and flash grenades. Make the jammer more useful, wider radius (The mw3 radius for it is terrible, barely fills the dome in dome) Make it act as a portable EMP or something, not just blurring the enemy radar. More interactive maps, like being able to open doors, taking control of turrets, bring back the tanks in certain maps and the vehicle perks from CoD 5. Bring back wager matches with cod points and the combat record, combat training and that you can have different killstreaks for different classes. The assault/support/specialist strike packages. Put blind eye and assassin in the same perk slot.

I'm pretty certain there will be a multiplayer after reading Treyarch's/Davidvonderhaars tweets. I think they should make maps for every type of gun. SMG/LMG/AR/SNIPER/SHOTGUN. In my opinion shotguns and LMGS are extremely under-rated and don't really perform well on a vast number of maps. The MK46 with grip+rds on the maps Interchange and Bakaara on mw3 is a really good gun, but people dont seem to give LMGS/Shotguns a chance which is why id like maps that can make them useable. I'd also like to see that you can only obtain pointstreaks by getting kills with weapons not other killstreaks, on MW3 il get my predator then like 10 seconds after get the chopper and let that get the 2 kills needed for my reaper. Its to fast. And also assault killstreaks actually worth the kills, Strafe run should be swapped with Escort airdrop in my opinion, its useless.

I'd like to see a maps set in, Stone henge Catacombs of paris Somewere involving the bemuda triangle (Bermuda? dont know ) Buckingham palace/london and somewere else in space

I would like treyarch to revamp the 11 zombie maps from WaW and black ops and put them in a DLC or in the hardened or prestige version of the game, like they did in black ops. Adding all 8 perks into every map and a PaP machine, it would work like this. Nacht der untoten: Open the map up and let players outside, add another floor ontop of the second one the PaP would be here. Juggernaut would be on the second floor alongside Double tap, Speed cola would go in the box room, quick revive would go in spawn and the other 3 outside. Also make the box move! You get my point, alter the maps abit to fit everything in. Also make DOA a first person mode. Im aware lots of people wouldn't be pleased with this as it would destroy the origionality of those maps however it would make them more enjoyable and not as repetative. The people that dont like it can just play it on black ops however i know there is a vast majority of players that would like to see the old 4 maps with PaP and 8 perks aswell as the other 7 from black ops. This way it would make both groups of players happy (hopefuly ).

I would like to see Pro version of the perks, to make them more useful in higher rounds. Instead of drinking a pro perk you would inject yourself with a needle or something like that. I think they should include a scavenger perk aswell, that costs around 25,000 points, regenerating around 15 bullets per zombie you kill (you would get more bullets as the rounds got higher). I would like to see the return of Boss rounds, i missed those in Cotd Shangri-la and moon. One wonderweapon per map thats always 1 hit kill. On the maps five/Verruckt the winters howl became useless at around round 25+ as did the winters fury, and this was kind of unfair since every other wonder weapon apart from the ray gun and scavenger stayed one hit hill for ever.

I was watching one of Tmartns videos and he said that it was around this time last year that MW3 was announced which more than likely means that COD9 will be announced soon, and its almost certain it will have zombies in. I was wondering, will the Hardened/Prestige edition come with all 11 Zombie maps from Blackops/WaW (Including DOA) like the black ops edition came with the 4 origionals? Also Infinity ward are supposedly releasing DLC's every month, starting today i think? (22nd jan) so does this mean Treyarch will for CoD9? They could release say 2 mp maps and one new zombie map and a old one from a previous game? I cant see them releasing all 11 of them re-done in one DLC. So, what are your thoughts? Also it would be a shame if they didnt include them. Someone might have already mentioned this in this section of the forum, i put this in the black ops section then when i seen this i put it in here so my bad if ive just said what someone else has, i havent read any of the threads.

Does destroying killstreaks with guns get them xp?

Yes it does, i'd say you should use blind eye pro if your going to try to destroy killstreaks like airsupport. With blind eye pro it took me 1 clip from the ACR to destroy a attack heli, and almost all the ammo from the Scar-L without blind eye pro. With the MSR being bolt action without blind eyepro it would take even longer, and probably waste alot of ammo if the ammo capacity is low to start with, (i dont know how much ammo it has, never used it) Blind eye pro makes your bullets do more damage to airsupport and sentries btw, alot more damage. -
I use ballistic vests, Recon drone, and EMP you get 200xp for throwing down the ballistic vests, and 50xp everytime someone picks one up, say everyone in the team picked one up your going to get 300+xp just of teammates picking up vests. Recon drone, you get 350xp for deploying it (i think) and 50xp for tagging them (most gamemmodes will be 50xp, except tdm which i think is 100) and you get 20xp for getting tag assist (i think) EMP, you get 500xp when you activate it and extra xp for anything in the sky at the time, so its best to use it when the enemy has its most air support up.

Thanks aha, most of the kills from the scrambler have been from me camping anyway, mostly in the dome in dome, and next to the tunnel in hardhat. Also with a claymore as my lethal grenade and placing that within the radius of the scrambler so you're getting claymore+scrambler kills. I've found drop zone is a good game for C4 kills and the smoke grenade, ive been using acr with thermal scope + ump45 rapid fire ( overkill pro ), waiting until the enemy captures the drop zone, throw in a c4 and a smoke, detonate the C4 and kill the remaining enemys with the scoped acr. That gets you C4 kills+Smoke screen kills. Il try putting the scrambler in a more high traffic areas and me camping somewere were i can see it, like putting it on B-flag in arkaden, and camping in that little display window balcony thing near a-flag, that would work i suppose Hopefuly il get it done before prestiging, its stupid how the portable radars unlocked at level 76 or something only giving you 4 levels, and then you've got to get another 76 levels until you unlock it again, i suppose thats one of the reasons why theres a choice you can prestige :lol:

I've been trying to complete challenges for the tactical equipment to earn xp and titles/emblems, but some of the equipment i cant manage to complete the challenges for... Smoke grenade, kill 10 people in your smoke screen. Does this mean YOU have to be in the screen and the enemies out, or do the enemies have to be in and you out? Whatever way round it is i have had no success at all. Any ideas to help me on that one? Scrambler, the scrambler one is ok but takes time Ive killed 25/50 people within the scramblers radius but its just taking soo long to complete, any ideas to speed it up? Thanks :)

Some deathstreak suggestions: 4. Juiced 4. Pain killer ( Lasts for 15 seconds) 5. Final stand 5. Martyrdom 6. Dead mans hand 6. Hollow points Weapon proficiency: Stopping power (Instead of it being a perk)

I think they should add 'Pro pointstreaks', this is like pointstreaks but there upgraded. You would have to complete a series of challenges until you unlocked the pro pointstreak, then you'd have to purchase it with COD points. For example... Attack dogs pro: Dogs have more health, and some have C4 strapped to them ( Like in MW3 Survival) Challenges: Call in 30 Attack dogs Get 50 Kills with attack dogs Kill 1 attack dog with a C4 EMP pro: EMP pro Disables ALL Perks + Weapon Proficiencys and all electronic scenery will go off (Street lights would blow up, cars blow up etc) Challenges: Call in 50 EMPS ( Assuming there in the Support strike chain) Destroy 75 Pointsreaks using EMP'S Destroy 20 Turrets with EMP grenades UAV Pro: Enemies show up quicker for longer, this will destroy opponents UAVS Challenges: Call in 500 UAVS Kill 1000 Enemies while your own UAV is up Destroy 50 Enemy UAVS Harrier strike Pro 3 airstrikes instead of 2, Explosion radius is bigger, Harrier has 1 Flare and will take down ANY air support with there rockets. Challenges: Get 50 kills with the Airstrike of the Harrier Destroy 35 Air support with the Harrier Get 500 Kills of the Harrier's guns. Gunship pro Rockets have a bigger radius, they leave behind toxic gas, Turret is stronger and you can control how high/low the helicopter goes Challenges Call in 50 gunships Get 100 kills with the gunships Turret Get 50 kills with the gunships rockets These are just some basic ideas, but i think they're pretty good.

7 reasons survival cant compete with zombies

Personally i prefered zombies, survival is good but i do find it repetitive. All the maps resemble eachother a signifcant amount more than the zombies ones did. For zombies you had; Torn apart theatre the pentagon A moon base A abandoned cosmodrome An asylum A swamp etc All these maps were different, you can't say an abandoned comsodrome resembeled a swamp in anyway realy? However in survival, i think some maps resemble eachother alot Bakaara and Mission, i dont know how but these 2 maps are like eachother alot in my mind, long stretches of path, wipe open areas, tight squeezes, and high places/buildings to camp in. Also these are Multiplayer maps, so you play on these maps alot more than you would the Zombie maps, meaning you would get bored of them quicker. For example, a mappack could be released in zombies on January 1'st and new things could still be being discovered in May, and i think if anything was to be placed in maps in MW3, they would be found more quicker therefore making them boring because there was nothing to search for. Having said that, since zombies was such a big thing when a map was released people would scrutinize the map for hours until they found something, The moon easter egg was solved on the day of release on Xbox. -

When i seen the trailers for survival, i thought you'd be able to pilot AC-130's and other killstreaks, not just control predator missiles. I think they should add in some killstreaks, Like AC-130, Assault drone, Precision airstrike, EMP (For helicopter/jug rounds), Remote sentry, Pave lows and other assault ones. There isnt enough time between waves either, me and a friend were playing on Bakaara on the hardest tier, and were camping right at the back in the builing/house. One was camping at one staircase and one was camping at the other, and we wanted a sentry gun to go in the building incase we ended up getting pushed back. The explosives laptop/shop is at the opposite side of the map (near flag A on domination) It took me around 15-20 seconds to get there, about 5 seconds to buy the turret, and by then the next wave has started. The time between waves should change depending on which map your on and should be long enough to visit all 3 laptops. I dont think the people should have personalities and charectoristics, because i think it wouldnt fit in with the game genre? Like with zombies you could easily come up with an intriguing story to draw players in, but with survival a storyline would just be something like campaign? -

Me and 7 friends were playing team tactical demolition, 4 of us were in 1 party and the other 4 were in another party, i admit we were boosting haha but i could hear the other party and they were on the opposite team. -
Watch that ^ Basically what the video is showing in campaign in MW3 there is a Picture of a girl (Samantha of zombies) Holding a teddy bear and a sledgehammer, the sledgehammer has SHG wrote on it (SledgeHammerGames) Also, in the map lockdown there is a peice of paper with a girl holding a teddy bear on with something behind her which looks like a black hole or something in space, which would fit in nicely as a sequal to the Moon map, What are your thoughts on this? It has also been rumoured that CoD9 will be named Iron wolf? The teddy bear reference has also been belived that one of Infinity wards employees' daughter died while holding a teddy and she loved teddy's If its true then im deeply sorry for the Employee but the picture of Sam in lockdown personally with the space like background i think it hints more towards zombies?
