  1. Personally I get two power weapons. The first being the Wunderwaffe DG-2 or Awful Lawton. The second being Ray Gun (for the dogs). The third I get to be a point gun. It really doesn't matter what it is. I get Box guns any chance I get since they do more damage, but if I run out of ammo in the middle of a Round, I just grab the nearest wall gun. In Der Riese, that usually ends up being the FG42, Thompson, or STG-44.
  2. The reason people like myself spend so much time thinking about video games instead of real life is because, well, real life is boring. Video games let your imagination run wild, while life has the cold, hard truth of being exactly what it is.
  3. The thing is that the numbers are ideal, i.e. you'd have to headshot George with every single bullet. Getting perfect, no matter what, is an impossibility. So the best solution is to take it out the equation. Since you're going to miss a certain amount of time regardless of the weapon, it really doesn't play a factor into which weapon is better, especially since some people aim better than others. The Death Machine's Maximum Total Damage was figured differently than the other weapons. Since it has unlimited ammunition, it's damage was figured with time. Death Machine does 3,000 damage per bullet. It's RPM is 1200. So at 1200 bullets a minute, each doing a maximum of 3000 damage (1500 when not a headshot), 3000x1200=3,600,000 damage. However, you only keep for half a minute, not a whole minute, so divide in half. So the Maximum Total Damage of the Death Machine is 1,800,000. If you could get a buddy to hold George still in the water and you are a REEEEEAAALLLLLY good aimer, you COULD possibly kill him with the Death Machine alone. Not going to happen though. (Even Deadshot Daiquiri won't really assist you since the Death Machine doesn't go down the sights, although it would allow the crosshairs to be smaller.) However, there is an exception to that rule. Since the Death Machine is figured by time instead of ammunition, Double-Tap Root Beer actually increases its potential output. If you have that, then it can do a Maximum Total Damage of 3000x1200x1.3333/2=2,400,000.
  4. Well I used their upgraded states mostly for comparison, because, well, not doing so is like comparing two babies to see which turned out to be a more successful adult. Unless you plan on going through the game, keeping a weapon, not upgrading it, which I would not advise, such a list would be a waste of time.
  5. "We would have to pay for them again!" Excuse me? "We would HAVE/u]-" Says who? If Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had a super fluffy pink edition, would you HAVE to buy that? No. You don't HAVE to buy anything. If they came out with the old maps but cost $60, you wouldn't HAVE to buy it. In fact, if it did come out and you chose not to buy it AND if it did not come out, your world would be exactly the same; you don't have those maps. But if the first was true, then other people who would be willing to pay can at least get it. They should make it to appeal to their fans. If some of their fans don't want it, then they don't have to buy it!!! And yes, actually, I like my maps recycled. I like the idea of playing the classic Nacht der Untoten each game with a new twist on things yet retaining its classic value. Every game the mechanics get better and more refined. When I play an old map, I don't want to have to go back to the old game mechanics. I like retro. I like the old, classic, awesome maps with a new feel to them. I want to use BO2 weapons in Der Riese. I want to use an RPG in Kino. I don't know exactly how you guys felt, but I had fun when Black Ops first came out. I could play the new Kino der Toten and "Five", but I could also play the oh-so-fun, revamped Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Der Riese. Now just imagine that on a larger scale. I really don't care how to get them. Getting them free for getting a certain edition or pre-order or whatnot would be cool, or just outright paying for them would be cool too. Either way, I doubt it'd be free. *shrugs* perhaps. Any way, I want those maps.

  7. Yeah, and there's a chance there will be a Fluffy Edition. My point is, they haven't announced one yet, so don't go assuming. Especially since they've already started bonuses and pre-ordering. I think if there was going to be one, they'd be out right now, unless they implement and easy-to-do upgrade-your-pre-order kind of thing. As for you other guys, NO! N! O! NO! They should NOT edit the old maps in game-altering ways. You can't please everyone, if they alter them, then they'll be subject to everyone whining every other way to change something that they didn't like the first time. The only changes, if any, that should be made are: 1. New BO2 mechanics (if they aren't changed too much) 2. Inclusion into new game modes 3. BO2 weapons in the Mystery Box 4. Mule Kick stays in the maps
  8. Oh okay, thank you. It's a bit disappointing though. I was kinda hoping this was like the Hardened, where you got the old four maps. $50 was a bit uncongruent with that thought, but then again, 10 maps (Nacht to Moon) could well be worth $50.
  9. So it was for signing up for Elite, which basically means you put a down payment on all the DLCs and get them later? Or are they discounted, as in you pay less for them if you get Elite? (I know absolutely nothing about "Elite". I just play Call of Duty for Zombies.)
  10. So I had a very strange conversation with the MANAGER of the Gamestop at the mall near where I live today. I really had no idea what was going on. Maybe you could help me? I'll try to record it as best as I can: X = MurderMachineX G = Gamestop Manager E = Gamestop Employee X: I'm mad at you guys for taking the Wii stuff off the wall. But you gave it two stands, so it's okay. G: *laughs* You'd be surprised. I don't know what it is- maybe parents bringing their kids over the summer or something- but a lot of people have been coming in here and asking for Wiis. X: Really? Huh. You know they're coming out with a new one soon. Or so they say. G: Yeah, it's going to be cool, but we're not sure when it'll be yet. E: They got some pretty good games out for it that you can already pre-order. Here if I check when the games are coming out we may be able to get a projection for when the new system is out. G: It won't work if it just says the beginning of a new year. E: Yeah, January 1st. G: Yeah, when they say that it just means sometime that year. X: Yeah. G: Well is there anything I can help you with? X: Nah, I'm just looking. But while I'm here, there is something. I pre-ordered Black Ops 2 and got the poster. G: Oh, you did? Cool. X: But now they've come out with the second part, the Nuketown 2025, and I just wanted to make sure if I had to come get that or anything. G: Oh you mean the second wave? No. But did you get the maps? X: Um, what? G: If you pre-order the maps you will get a code when the game comes out. X: I haven't heard anything about any... G: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, right? Yes. X: Is it... like the Hardened Edition of the first one? G: No, no. X: Well I already pre-ordered the game, so can I get it? G: No, you have to pre-order the maps. You have to just put down $5, and when you get your game you will get a code. It's $50. X: Um.... well I'll think about it and come back. So I was really confused. Do you guys know something I don't? Is this lady spewing nonsense? And what's with the "It's $50" right at the end? $50 for a map pack in addition to the game or was she referring to the game itself?

  12. I'm disappointed. Because of all the leaks, I already knew about it before it came up, so I was expecting something else today. Sadly, they were one in the same.
  13. I think it's reviving ability is great. As for its lightweight ability... Eh. If you are a good enough player to dodge Zombies in amazing ways most cannot, I honestly think you'll be just as well off with one as without one. If you aren't, then it's not going to make you into a pro like you see on youtube. In fact, amateurs or even advanced players will probably put themselves in harm's way more often than not if they try to do fancy stuff by getting overconfident with the Ballistic Knife.
  14. Not entirely true. He remembers all the maps, just nothing before. "Richtofen. I don't like him. I think I've seen him before Shi No Numa, but can't quite remmeber. In fact, I can't remember much at all from before." - Dempsey

  16. Firstly, I don't mean to be a jerk, but I've heard this theory time and time again. And well, it's wrong. Some of us in this forum have determined that that meeting occurred on October 23, 26, or 27, or 6, 7, 8, or 12, 1963 at 3:00 PM. The Cuban Missile Crisis occurred the following year. Why have the meeting then? Well, politics are slow. Things may have also had to cool down before negotiations were met. And they didn't point fingers at Castro because that is very bad diplomatics. Also, we don't KNOW exactly when Moon was. All we know is that it was sometime between 1960 and the future. That's a pretty big gap, most of it which is after 1963, so you can't assume they would know about it, even though technically possible. But even if they did, they'd be dead. Eh... While it's not exactly clear cut, I think he was getting that to prepare for going to Griffin Station on the Moon, but it turned out to be unecessary with all the P.E.S.'s everywhere. But the idea of map rotation is an old one, an outdated one. The maps occur in order. That's just it. Not chronologically time-wise, but chronologically story-wise. The characters go from SSN to Der Riese to Kino to "Five"/Ascension to CotD to Shangri-La to Moon. It's always been that way. There is no rhyme nor reason to change. No map is a prequal to another. Treyarch always continues the story further, not draws it back. Well I agree he is still alive... sorta. We can hear in Moon Radio 5 that he was shot and killed. However, while doing the Easter Egg, you can hear him. But you only ever hear him out of the computer monitor or intercoms. Richtofen also says quotes like "How on Earth did you get into the machine?" and "And delete. Goodbye, Dr. Maxis." Dr. Maxis had an extensive history with computer software for his time. Apparently he built an A.I. of himself. Honestly, analyzing songs never give definitive results. While something is there, they're usually more metaphorical and emotional than plot-driven. Even the things you make out can be easily disputed. Why? Songs are just poetry with lyrics. Poetry can be interpreted many different ways, so I exclude the songs altogether. In Moon, you blow the Earth up... Not to mention that Richtofen is then in control of them... Dr. Maxis said the reason why he signed it. They needed money to fulfill their real purpose, but they underestimated how devastating and long the war would be. You assume he's lying when he says that, but he has no reason to lie. He told Richtofen in confidence. Why would he lie to a confidant? We know Samantha was German because her father was and she even had a German accent. Any Jewish roots are unknown, uncomfirmed, and unplausible. Again, I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just being a bit aggressive in my tackling of criticism.

  18. Truth be told a lot of people are just complainers that you can't please. Treyarch says that they're coming out with a new game, and they're more concerned with what they think is wrong than what most know is right.
  19. I hope that the third or fourth wave is the old maps. I really want to to have all the maps in the most updated Zombies game. I don't want to be playing this super awesome game and have to back to mediocrity just to play Moon or something. So I really hope that one of the preorder bonuses is them. If you don't want to buy it, THEN DON'T. EDIT: Btw, there is no hardened edition. There's just the game. You preorder early, then you get the game + 4 bonuses.
  20. I'm not sure about minimal changes persay. But if the bonuses were purely aesthetic, than maybe. Like maybe you could unlock a new characters to play as or get cool camos for your guns or something like that. I think a pause button should be implemented regardless of Round. What if I'm on Round 13 but we had a super-great, lucky, point-getting start? And no problem. Glad to help :D
  21. I think the idea of having unlocks is a bad idea. Everything you unlock should be in-game, not in a menu like in Multiplayer. Zombies is great. If they make it like Multiplayer, it'll turn a lot of people away. The idea is that everyone at the beginning of a game is on equal footing. It's all up to your skill how far you'll survive in the map. But give people special bonuses and advantages for having played a lot? Imagine being a new kid to the game, where no one will play with you because as a new kid you have no friends yet and randoms won't play with you because they don't want to waste their time trying to survive on a map with anyone who isn't at least presitge fifty two. EDIT: Btw, something you should add. A high Round should count even if you're disconnected. As it stands, you have to finish the game for it to count. But if your console turns off or your connection interrupts, the data should be stored on your hard drive to immediately upload to the leaderboards the minute the power is back on. Or something of that nature.
  22. When the player walks over it. Otherwise, in the case of multiple people, it'd have the ability to give someone a Perk they already had, which just doesn't happen.
  23. But vibration nor impact would cause a plate to shift so dramatically. It doesn't matter how hard to blow it up, the continent isn't going to move. It will sooner crumble before it moved.
