  1. So I think (like we've seen before) we'll be seeing through two separate rips in the corner to what is likely the 3rd DLC loading screen. Once we see THAT loading screen We will likely be able to see the MotD loading screen tear from that perspective on the LEFT page. Kinda confusing. Sorry. :? Yea I guess they had to do it that way in order to show us that the story is still being told. Though with Mob of the Dead, it seems to be a prequel of some sort. In grief I noticed a different voice for the announcer. This is all very confusing. Maybe the rip we saw in Die Rise is for the next map, maybe it's for a secret part of MotD. I just hope MotD sticks to the story and adds more to it. If it's a stand alone map then that's cool too, but I'm a story hound lol.
  2. interesting. I've seen a few vids that show little references to the story. Such as the clock stuck on 115 like in Der Riese. But I also noticed that I haven't seen the galvaknuckles yet. Is there at least a bowie knife? And please excuse me asking so many questions. Being on PS3 is kind of rough during these month long waits.
  3. The loading screen for Die Rise shows some sort of film real or some sort of wheel as we all know in the ripped page that looks like the half of a mans head. It doesn't seem to be the loading screen for MOTD. I'm on PS3 so I've only seen vids about it. Can someone tell me if I'm wrong about this?
  4. This is why I love Treyarch. A lot of their fiction comes from truths. Like what the nazi's had going on with occult knowledge and trying to win the war with magick and stuff (and for those who are wondering, magick and magic are two different things. Aleister Crowley type stuff.) Anyway, Alcatraz is said to be a place where unspeakable things were happening to inmates. Some died by unexplained "ghostly" visions. And some talk of "medical experiments" taking place on the island. The American public remained ignorant to all this stuff (as they usually do) and scientists were able to get away with many things. They would look for inmates with no ties to the outside world (such as family, friends, siblings, etc.) and use them to learn more about the human body and brain. Oh and just another tid bit of info...it has been said that after WW2, nazi scientists were able to continue their experiments in the US because their knowledge seemed valuable to military and scientific (and possibly occultic) knowledge.
  5. A GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!!
  6. I always thought Richtofen was hearing either Maxis or Samantha in WAW/BO. But I'm pretty sure the demonic voice is just Richtofen in Die Rise. It's just the sound that WE hear. But Samuel can interpret it. Like another language kind of. I see a lot of people talk about the intro to Die Rise and how there are two different voices. But I'm pretty sure they're the same.
  7. You know what? Your right. It's silly to use the quotes.
  8. Awesome thread. I love the comparrisons. I'd actually LOVE to see a side by side picture of the Ray Gun from WaW PaP'd, vs Bo1, and Bo2. All side by side to see the different skins. I really like the new PaP skin. It's kind of like a tie die teashirt, but with a more metallic overtone. Anyway, the ONE thing I'd have to disagree on is the Sliquifier being the best wonder weapon. That's more of an opinion based thing anyway. But in my opinion, it's a toss up between the Thunder Gun and the Shrink Ray. Both of them can get you out of a corner surrounded by zombies...without the danger of damaging yourself. THAT (in my opinion) is the TOP priority of a Wonder Weapon. Even the Wunderwaffe doesn't cast a shadow on the two guns I mentioned...in my opinion of course.
  9. Thank you for your response InfestLithium. Well, I have a few theories as to why we might want to inject 115 into the Jet Gun, but as far as other maps like Die Rise go, I'd have to do a bit more imagination reaching. So for now, I'll stick with TranZit, and the Jet Gun. In TranZit, there is a machine in the power room that spawns a creature known as "Him." There isn't much known about that particular machine. But there is a lot known about TranZit and surrounding area (Hanford, and it being a place of military experiments.) Well, if the military is involved, you can bet there is some SUPER secret things going on. The MDT is still (as we know) the place where Richtofen resides on the Moon. What if the machine in the power room of TranZit is some sort of Earth made reproduction of it? There has been a gap in time from Nuketown to TranZit, so what if Richtofen was communicating with people on Earth, and giving them the knowledge to recreate the MDT on Earth. Perhaps giving him a way to manifest (a certain form of himself) on Earth? Now what if "Him" is actually the SKELETAL manifestation of Richtofen? Now what if when all the towers are connected, "Him" turns into a full on manifestation of Richtofen in his supernatural form, and the only way to destroy him is with the Jet Gun...powered by 115? A lot of these theories are based on things they say in-game. Like how Marlton says things about further modifications to the Sliquifier. And how Treyarch themselves said that TranZit may have alternate endings. And that thing about "new upgradable wonder weaponry" in Die Rise that we haven't yet seen. But I'm just digging and reaching. These are all just theories. But I have a strange feeling I could be "close" to the truth. Of course, there are a LOT of things I could be VERY wrong about.
  10. When the final DLC arrives, and all the towers are connected, Perhaps there are alternative endings. Hear me out. Each Nav Card Table has an Element 115 rock attached to it. What if you take the buildable gun from that map (TranZit=Jet Gun, Die Rise=Sliquifier) and hook it up to the Nav Card Table (on that map) and inject Element 115 into it. Perhaps there's an ending to each map that requires the maps buildable gun to be injected with 115 (creating an "upgradable" Wonder Weapon?) to complete a special task which gives an "alternative" ending? 11. With all that said (and I agree with every word of it,) I still have to admit that Treyarch (and even Infinity Ward) do a pretty good job on giving us new games every year. But yea, a NON rushed game would be so great. I'm not sure if Treyarch would be able to leave Activision because contractoral issues, but if they did, the fans would be MUCH happier. But yea, the biggest problem is the fact that all these games are rushed so that Activision can get they're money. And that's sad. Is that it all comes down to the almight dollar. A world without a monitary system would be a TRUE Shangri-La.
  12. WOW!!! That's VERY interesting. A Kinect version. I absolutely LOVE the idea of actually drinking the perks and things. Great imagination. This is exactly the kind of post I was hoping to see. I think he was sorta kidding LOL! Sometimes, things said in jest are actually good ideas. I'm sure next gen consoles will have some cool hardware gun type stuff. Think about an actual belt we'd have to wear with our guns attached. And we actually have to sort through our weapons in real life. Hey, it's an alternative to actual excercise lol.
  13. WOW...just WOW!!! Your so imature. Can you grow up a little bit please? This is some serious shit here. I mean, you got the bacon part correct, but the nav card goes in Misty's vagina. THEN and ONLY THEN, do you get the bacon. DERP!!! This should be common knowledge by now.
  14. I can foresee a PERFECT GAME!!! The next gen consoles won't have any room to fool around. I'm guessing that they'll have all the tools (and servers) necessary to keep the game up to par. To be honest, Black Ops 2 is getting better with it's servers. And this is coming from a PS3 owner. Yes, the game was INSANELY broken at first, but I haven't really had ANY problems with it since the last patch. (fingers crossed.) But I think with the next gen, we'll see some amazing stuff. Like smarter AI, more in depth story lines, and lot's of Easter Eggs. But let's be honest, gameplay and graphics are the thing I'm looking forward to the most.
  15. WOW!!! That's VERY interesting. A Kinect version. I absolutely LOVE the idea of actually drinking the perks and things. Great imagination. This is exactly the kind of post I was hoping to see.
  16. Yea, it's a WAAAAAYZ off. But still, I can just imagine how insane the next Treyarch CoD will be considering the next gen consoles will have been out for a full year. Look what they can do now. And have you seen the graphics for the PS4? INSANE!!! So, I'm just wondering what will be in store for us. Again, I stress that I know this is more than 2 years away, but I still can't imagine what it will be like playing zombies on the next gen consoles. AHHHH!!! Something to REALLY look forward to. Oh and I'm sure some people are going to say that we don't know if the zombie story line will continue after BO2, considering that we havent even finished obtaining our DLC's yet. But I assure you, zombies WILL be in the next Treyarch CoD. It's never too early to start dreaming guys and gals. So, what do you guys think?
  17. It's the same music as Shangri-La. It's just atmospheric music. Nothing else. It adds that little something that makes it more creepy.
  18. Guess I was wrong when I said it was because of how fast you went down it. I just never had that problem. I'm on PS3. I'm not sure if this glitch exists on PS3 though. But I'm sure there are the same amount of problems on all consoles. This game is MIGHTY broken. But who can complain when you get 3 games for the price of one? But I do hope that glitch gets fixed. I'd be pissed if I had just bought the galvaknuckles and went down that slide, only to die. There's a lot that needs fixing in this game.
  19. I've never NOT gotten a free perk or the extra points from them unless I've shot a gun. I've used my knife, galvaknuckles, and claymores on them and have ALWAYS gotten a free perk. If you have juggernog, just run in circles and crouch and knife. Run circles, crouch, knife. Rinse, repeat, and you should be good to go.
  20. I know why the AN slide killed that guy. It's because he went too fast. He wasn't finished healing when he hit the slide. Each one of those drops causes damage and you kind of have to take it slow. That's why I never go down it during a heavy zombie swarm. As far as the box slide, I've never seen that. But I'm on PS3 so maybe those glitches were fixed by the time they got to my console. Oh and I don't know if you were being sarcastic with the title. "Die Rise needs fixed!" But the correct way to say it would be "Die Rise needs fixing" or "Die Rise needs to be fixed!" I'm not making fun in any way, I'm just a grammar nazi.
  21. So THAT'S what those mattresses are for! Everywhere on the map there are mattresses that you can land on. I was wondering what those ones were for.
  22. Ascention. Played it over my buddys house. Didn't have a console. Went out and bought PS3 because of the free internet. Then Call of the Dead came out and I found out I had to wait an extra month after Xbox. I was pissed. But I got over it. But yea, after I played the hell out of BO1 zombies, I went out and bought World at War to play the previous 4 maps. So I downloaded all the DLC for WaW and kept on with Black Ops. Played that since 2010...now that Die Rise is out for PS3 I've been playing it like it's going out of style. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Die Rise MIGHT just be the best zombies map Treyarch have ever done. Not only is it challenging, but they got almost everything right. The new wall guns kick ass, AND you can build the Wunder Weapon. DIE RISE=almost PERFECT!!!
  23. I'm not going to lie, when I found out that Obama was actually the Chihuahua from the Taco Bell commercials...I flipped. So Tank and Samuel being the same person doesn't surprise me.
