  1. It's just way too early to be even having these thoughts, TBH. I have no idea what they would do by the time 2014 would do, but we already had a MW series, and even though I'm currently against the idea of basically having the something, chances are Blops will be a trilogy as well. But it gets repetitive.
  2. Saying there will be no zombies in a Treyarch installment these days is like saying there will be no killstreaks in multiplayer. It's GONNA happen. :)
  3. Well the research and theories people are able to come up with that are at least interesting if not fairly accurate are definitely the most intriguing parts lots of people at CoDz have to offer. Regardless if its 100% fact or confirmed or not, it's fun to pick and pull parts of ideas that make one giant inspiring theory. After all, CoDz has influenced Treyarch for several things in the past that were actually implemented in game, and that IS fact. ;)
  4. Can't wait, the new title will complement the new theme and next release well. ;)
  5. In all honesty, the question "Will zombies return?" shouldn't even be a question. As from the fact that the zombie community won't only be at Treyarch's door with pitch forks and torches if they DON'T return, they also would be stupid not to given how huge it is. Infact, I wouldn't doubt by this point that's their biggest selling point. People who generally want to play CoD strictly for multiplayer seem to favor MW series more for some reason I've noticed. (Which, I have no idea why, don't get me wrong. )
  6. I can't believe how quick people figure this stuff out and sniff out every possible clue. I pretty much just sit back and watch while everyone tears into the latest updates like a pack of angry wolves. :D
  7. I was just thinking about the death cards actually, nice find.
  8. Honestly, I'm not to sure what all the hype is over this new killstreak potential Treyarch is showing with the Quad-copter. Sure, it looks fun. But it's basically a recon drone with a mounted machine gun... Unless is basically going to be Blops 2 version of the RC-XD, which could potentially be offered with the Blops 2 prestige edition.
  9. Not exactly a custom character, but I always thought it would be hilarious if Nikolai said something like; "HOLY SHIT, SOMEONE SPIKED MY VODKA!" Upon drinking one of the perks or something. XD
  10. Very interesting. Keep in mind he flew the quad-copter through that window in the back of the zombie terrorists, that area in Kino too has a window in the back. And maybe I'm looking into this too much, but even the line pattern in between the walls are identical. Easily a direct reference to Kino.
  11. That is true, however Nova 6 (as far as I know anyways) doesn't fuel the original zombies. The creepy crawlies sure, which I can see as a prime example where this all ties in with CODZL as well. They are making zombies fit the era more.
  12. I don't think they're is going to be an actual "Zombies campaign" per se, but they are definitely pointing in that direction with the Nova 6 and all from Blops. Treyarch is reflecting the two back and forth, and at the sometime, they are completely separate.
  13. The more I think about this, the more I think they really should have separate tiers for EE's. Whether they actually be several different EE's, or multiple parts to one, and the reward and benefits would obviously become greater the further you get. And here's why; So far each major EE's we have completed since Blops all take a considerable amount of time to acquire the specific tools needed to do the eggs correctly. That would be your general starting EE; the key tools necessary to begin the journey, the secondary objective. Now, the EE's are basically split into parts, different steps that must be completed in a specific order (usually). The problem is however, once you have actually completed the EE, it comes to an abrupt stop, you get your reward and the egg is over. Therefore, it's satisfaction loses it's luster pretty quickly. And if you're lucky enough, most of these eggs can be completed in 20 rounds or less, easily. I know for a fact that most of the replay value of a zombies map has lately been heavily driven by not only setting goals for the longest survival time, but for doing and completing these eggs. Well, I know I can only do it so many times over before it's just boring to do anymore anyways. So here's my suggestion on the matter; 1. Enable original EE as always. Meaning, finding the radios/switches/hidden actions/etc. Followed by the initial starting step. 2. Much like the Moon EE, which was basically broken into two parts, break up future EE's into more like 3 or 4 steps, only have them work after a certain amount of kills or rounds accumulated as a necessity to activate the next part. Note that each part completed, would have it's temporary pieced together reward, such as additional perk slots, rewarded points, attachments option, etc. (preferably something small, but new for something fresh) 3. Gameplay mechanics change or alter as steps are completed. I feel the EE's don't really effect much of the actual atmosphere of the gameplay or map elements after the EE's are officially completed. I'd like to see more environmental permanent changes as well as specific character awards (all 8 perks, death machine, etc.) This could even effect the zombies. Perhaps one reward after a certain amount of EE tiers completed could be weaker zombies, but greater zombie count to even the odds a bit. Just as an idea for example. These EE's are fun to do, but I think more people would try harder and be more interested in pushing themselves to get further if the EE's were far more in depth and prolonged as well as rewarding. I want zombies to keep it's natural pace and feel of zombies, but also ACTUALLY be more objective based, if desired, than just activating the power all the time, lol.
  14. First thing I think of is the idea of them going even further back. Have a Civil War type map for kicks rather than going forward for once. Still have the weapons that fit their era of course, maybe have a cannon you can shoot for fun now and then, but fighting zombie confederate troops and the like would be fun. :)
  15. Not sure how many people actually noticed this in the initial Prestige medal development thread, but I managed to whip up "Prestige 6", still with no thoughts or opinions on it:
  16. I noticed the "Medals" option in my User CP when changing my signature again, can't wait! ;)
  17. So, is there any other leads? I'd imagine all sorts of people are dog piling on that offer.
  18. No offense, but I think even still, people are looking WAY too much into this. We need more confirmation and clues from 3arc themselves.
  19. Something to add on that "Black Box" idea here would be to include it as the regular zombies version of "The Room of Fate" from DOA. However, instead of always being rewarding, they would be a prize that pays a price. It will benefit one area, but cripple another. ;)
  20. I'm assuming that since the first visible image looks like a potential killstreak, it will actually be mostly multiplayer. That's usually the main emphasis in all these CoD trailers.
  21. I'm sure as it gets closer they will have mini easter eggs in their trailer somewhere. Treyarch is chuck full of small surprises and EE's. Hell, they even did that one trailer where they had a "zombie" jump out for a half a second at the end. :)
  22. Say out of curiosity, do the circled calendar dates back on Der Riese line up with these Eclipse dates by chance? If so, that would be pretty interesting!
  23. Meh, I think it rings "MW" too much and kinda like the older looking one for the older eras personally, if it were a little hammered or worn I think it would look better IMO.
  24. Sweet, looks like we've got a new killstreak confirmed folks. I can't wait for the next one. And by the looks of it, the next one opens tomorrow. The interesting thing is that only some have dates, the rest just say classified.
  25. OOH! It tickles my special place...
