  1. True, I just wanted to specify that it shouldn't purely just go off activity. However, it won't much matter after the medals system as been launched.
  2. The other thread was locked about Survivor qualifications. I was curious to know just what the requirements are to make a person eligible. I understand someone must be active for a year, however I think there should be some set requirements if there aren't any. Those being; - Be a member of CoDz for over a year. - Have at least 1000 posts. Those being separate from each other. So, which ever comes first. I request this for the reason being that if someone is willing to request to be in the group, regardless of just how active they were, it shows that they are at least around enough to make a few posts here and there and haven't completely forgotten about the site. Therefore, it technically makes them more of a survivor for anyone who has casually been here at least every other day with about 700 posts. Also, I think that if someone can accumulate over 1,000 posts within the first year, should qualify regardless of the 1 year mark. Because that shows that they are super active and deserve to be recognized properly. Just my two cents on the issue. Thought I'd throw that out there. - Undead xP
  3. Either that, or they could just include a piece of coal that glows. XD
  4. Yeah, like that basically. I just imagine it being really in depth too, ilke an old skool shooter. Like the metroid games for example; for a Zombies arcade, you could get the weapon upgrades from drops and such. And just include everything those games have: - Power ups - Drops - Perks - Bosses - Secrets - Score - Health meter - 8-bit soundtrack I could go on and on. :)
  5. I'd personally like to see an actual, side scrolling zombies arcade shooter like the old skool way to play shooters would be fun. Have the graphics be all 90's and such. :)
  6. Hey, not necessarily. I actually quite enjoyed it. It just needed more regular singing and like a bridge or something so it would have been like another minute or two longer.
  7. The zombies crew figurines with a background display would be pretty sick too. Equipped with weapons and all, kinda like the Halo toys. :)
  8. Chapter 3: Japan, 1941 The air was filled with the smell of burning trees, flesh and ashes, the smokey fog of gun powder blended with the thick humid dew that stuck to your skin. Insects infested the blood stained battlefields, barrowing in the bodies of the deceased. Many, fought to the last breath. For their land, for honor. "General, no response from recon team. I am afraid, they are lost to us." The Japanese soldier was young and small, but nonetheless, more deadly than most. These men were more than meets the eye, fought though many battles. They fought at close quarters, and always came out on top. The attack at the Pearl was just the start. The general sat hunched forward, focused, concentrated as he studied the ground, contemplating his next move as he lit up his cigar. "Do we have any leads on the American squadron?" "No sir." The general sighed, a cloud of cigar smoke screened between the two. "They have taken out too many of my men, they will be stopped. Find them." "Yes, General." He placed the cigar back in his mouth, still focused on the ground. He slowly reached for apart of a cloth that laid tattered in between the muddy ground, just peeking out of the soil. It had an insignia on it, it was hard to make out, but it looked familiar. He brushed off the article of clothing; a cog with a hand was resembled. He glanced deeply at it; "I know this design." He muttered to himself. Suddenly, gunfire was heard, the sound rippled though the swampy forest, sending hordes of birds flying though the air. The general quickly stood up, several more gunshots echoed in the forest. The emperial soldiers quickly took aim as they scattered for positions, The general reached for his Arisaka rifle, studying the dark areas of the forest. "Steady, by brothers." Two figures started to emerge, carrying a body; they we're friendlies. "Stand down" "General Takeo, I think you should look at this." The general immediately caught disarray in the soldiers eye, walking towards the recovered corpse. "What is this?" "One of ours, General. We found him like this, alive." "Impossible, this body has been dead for months." "Our thoughts exactly, sir. What could make this possible?" The general was quiet, he studied the body, then slowly took out the cloth from his pocket; the same insignia was burned into the corpse's skin, just below his ear. "I don't know." He said coldly. ZZZZZZIPEW! Suddenly, one of the soldiers dropped to his knees instantly, blood flowed heavily from his head, a cold breath left the soldier in shock as he fell, dead. "They are here!" 10. Actually, I doubt that. Sure, they may have a steady direction of where they were headed with it. But a lot of what has changed/added since the last map (including storyline development) has been inspired from the community. I'm still tripping over the fact that during the Zombie XP thing, they bluntly admitted that CoDz invented Samantha. Who knows how much inspiration and ideas they have implemented from the community itself in regards of storyline. Anyways, I found it really curious that they used 115 for the song in the trailers for Moon, instead of Coming Home. So it's a curious thought. Mainly because we have anticipated Moon since Der Riese.
  11. Looking good! Can't wait to see them all in motion. :)
  12. As far as in game content goes, I hope they make it so you can just get PaP camo and sights instead of gold. It would be way cooler, imo. Give me more of a reason to reach a high prestige too. :)
  13. Well, you do realize that the prestige edition for Blops came with the maps AND a remote control RC-XD right? My cousin and I had this short film idea of having a paintball war while he ran around with all his prestige edition gear. So we were hoping MW3 would come with a ghillie suit. That way he could pop up all blended in, put on his night vision goggles, take out a few peeps then call in the RC, haha. Anyways, for Treyarch, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that Wave Gun they showed in the CODZL trailers. :)
  14. Me neither. I'm glad the staff as agreed and is enthusiastic about putting my medals into gear here. I am very excited and can't wait to see how they all turn out. :D
  15. I believe there was a thing going around not to long ago saying Activision was willing to see a vote for how many people wanted to see them return, and that they would consider it or something along those lines. Either way, it would be nice and all to have guns familiar to our 4's time again.
  16. Hey, here's a fun idea. Just like the emblems in MW2, think we could animate the 10th prestige icon to rotate? ;)
  17. The prestige medals can honestly be implemented anytime. However, they are being worked on ATM.
  18. As far as usergroup colors, it would be a lot more distinguished if there were some many similarities. That is why some of the user groups will just be replaced with medals. I mean, we have like every shade of gray for user groups. However, here's a suggestion I just thought of for those who are worried about losing their color. What if we incorporated the "Prestige Ranking System" into a user group? Have a color the prestige so there's groups of people in a single color range, instead of having all these different user groups with 4 or 5 people in it. Not to mention, lots of us here qualify for several user groups, so the medals system will help recognize them all instead of showing the color for one. Which, I think is a fantastic idea.
  19. You're kill has to show in the final killcam and everything. Also, you have to have the "Finishing moves" list of challenges unlocked too, otherwise it won't count.
  20. Yeah no doubt, I love it when they mix the gameplay, quotes and EE song in the trailers. Der Riese's was the best. :)
  21. Thanks! I'll be sure to throw up the next chapter sometime this weekend. ;)
  22. It's more of an introductory for the characters. Back when things we're just starting to fall apart for 935. So it's more of a rough idealistic scenario about how they got involved. :)
  23. Heh, I imagine the double punch to be star wars or halo style weapons XD
  24. Chapter 2: Moscow, 1941 The cool arctic breeze layered the bricked streets and solid red buildings with a sheet of crystal frost, the wind of white dust blanketed the skies; Another typical day in Russia. The streets were scattered with smoking tanks and frozen corpses, not a single soul wandered the heart of the motherland. There were several soviet soldiers hovering around a fresh buying oil canister just outside what remained of an old bar Russians favored just before the war. With the storm coming in, they were nothing but sitting ducks. But a little social drinking always seemed to cure that. Soviet soldiers hung around the bar, passing along stories, injuries and old times. Nikolai Belinski, one soviet with a rough past though well respected and a fine soldier, was also feared. His closest uncanny comrades were quick to nickname him "The Bear". He sat alone on the island, gripping his mug as he blankly glanced inside at the reflecting glass of Vodka, took a strong gulp in sigh. "Hey Nikolai, why don't you come an socialize! You could be dead tomorrow!" A soldier joked, sitting around playing some cards with several others as the all chuckled with him. "No thanks comrade, I already have plenty of company" Nikolai quickly responded, holding up his mug with a grin. With a passive laugh, he took another swig. Commander Volk, a leader of the battalion approached the red soldier in a concerned, disarray; "Nikolai, come. We must talk." Nikolai, though hesitantly, followed behind to the back. .... The guards outside blew on there hands as the rubbed them together. "I am going inside for a drink, are you okay out here, Comrade?" The other nodded, still hovering closely to the flaming barrel. He muttered to himself as he looked on though out the darkened empty streets, as a blurry figure started to form a silloette in the distance. The soldier squinted, trying to get a glance; the figure was dark and slow. "HEY, YOU, STATE YOUR CODENAME!" No answer. "THIS IS A PRIVATE OUTPOST, STATE YOUR CODENAME!" Still, nothing. The soldier slowly reached for his carbine, shaking madly at the cold as he calked the rifle. The figure continued to emerge, slowly but steadily. "Fuckin, hell..." The soldier began; "THIS IS YOUR LAST REQUEST, WHO IS YOUR LEADER? STATE YOUR CODENAME, OR I WILL FIRE!" The figure was beginning to show a sharper shape, now speeding up in pace. However, it seemed to be injured; limping as it started to jog. The soldier raised his rifle, looking down the iron sights as the figure continued to emerge. He was finally in view, his red arm band was the first noticeable article. The soldier gasped; tightening his grip around the trigger; Just before he was about to fire, a sudden groan was heard from behind him. he turned only to be knocked down. "HEY, watch it comrade, You almost made me waste perfectly good Vodka!" The soldier turned again, the figure was suddenly gone. Leaving the soldier, shocked. "Here, I gotta take a piss. Hold these." "WAIT, I saw..." "Saw what?" "N...Nevermind. Hurry." The soviet wandered half drunk down the street, just as he stopped for a break, a grown was heard. "That you Alexandar?" He turned, a Nazi, completely frost bitten with glowing eyes stood right before him; "AAGGGGGGGHHHHH!" ----- To Be Continued...
  25. Imagine this fellas: A scenery were it's just a old abandoned foundry, and the only lighting is one flicking beam light that comes and goes. So the only thing you can see, are the zombies eyes. that is, until you either acquire the attachable flashlight, or night vision goggles. :)
