  11. Rough translation (Courtesy of Google!) Chapter 1: The beginning of the dead army. There was a lot of shouting and noisy. it seemed that the shooting was gently Dempsey did his eyes and saw Nikolai drunk in the air to shoot an M16. Takeo who yelled for help because a piece or 15 zombies like crazy behind him aanrende. Dempsey did not know what hit him, he knew only that they were on to a safe point outside the war's commands. Suddenly there was next to a door and Richtofen came running to them with a Kar98k in hand. he ran the 15 zombies and started as a crazy shoot. it was not easy, because at the moment that the first shot was fired turned the hungry zombies and ran towards Richtofen and Dempsey. Richtofen did not see this coming and knew not what he should do. Richtofen that the zombies could grab by the throat, there was an explosion of a Molotov cocktail that Nikolai had thrown to the zombies. This was a piece of roof top the bodies with which the zombies and blast explode and burn. Richtofen direction Nikolai looked as if he first had done something well. But Nikolai did not really determined cheerfully and muttered: That's a new bottle of vodka ... he could not finish the sentence with a bang as he fell to the ground, he had fallen asleep. The other did not react surprised, because this did Nikolai quite often from nothing. Richtofen and Takeo ran to Dempsey to see if everything went well with him. Dempsey could not remember what happened. Richtofen said they were en route to the safe point and that they move towards it were attacked by a large group of zombies. but that there are a small group sat behind their crawlers. Soon they were surrounded by the zombies and crawlers. What Richtofen not know is that crawlers Nova-6 gas which emit your first knockout, and as you breathe in the gas too long that you die. Richtofen is also not sure if Dempsey was still alive but that she did not leave forests. Richtofen said she ran toward the northwest and that they are in this old building came out. Takeo had to barricade the door but a bratwurst Nikolai went looking to a bottle of vodka. Dempsey stood quietly and looked calmly around him, he asked where she now were. What Richtofen answers that they are now in the old meeting place's were. but there was a sign at the door with the text: Night Of Untoten .... Next time post in English, that is if you can I'm sure that if I had a legitimate translation this would be a cool story!
  12. Hey, welcome to the site! :)
  13. Sorry guys, another short story, I'm just putting all my feels on here. The plane droned on through the night sky, staying away from the bright spots that signified towns. And death. Ten paratroopers unclipped their harness's and checked their ammunition, getting rid of the last minute jitters with careful inspection of their gear. Just barely, they could see the other planes veering towards their respective targets as the operation was set in motion. Rhodes, squad commander, checked his straps one last time. The bay doors opened and air sucked him out and flung him into the inky blackness of the night. There was the moment of free fall and butterflies, and he yanked on his chute. The parachute opened up in a mushroom above him, slowing his descent as they steered towards the forest. All around him, 9 black forms were opening their chutes, and in the distance, dozens more descended upon the fields and farms. AA fire suddenly streaked through the sky, ripping into one of the transport planes which was in the midst of deploying its troops. The streaks ripped through the body, shearing the hull and causing the plane to burst into flames. The men still inside screamed on the radio, trying to land as spotlights snapped on the burning plane and a barrage of metal stormed the aircraft. It exploded in a bright ball which expanded outwards, throwing the men in parachutes off course. Pieces of glittering metal lazily fell to the ground, and then the plane was no more. More AA fire shot down the paratroopers near the explosion, cutting them to shreds as the high-calibre rounds punctured their bodies. "Shit! Get to the ground now! Go! Go! Go!" Rhodes shouted, steering himself down as fast as he could. Spotlights, now on high alert, flashed through the sky and AA fire began to fill the air. Rhodes reached the ground in a matter of seconds, cracking his knee on a log and rolling to a halt in the forest. Around him, his squad untangled themselves from bushes and set up a small perimeter. Minutes later, they were moving through the forest. Rhodes squinted ahead to a clearing, telling the men to hide. And quickly. A Haubitze artillery piece squatted along with two dozen Sturmgrenadiers. That Haubitze artillery fired 150mm shells, deadly for tanks and especially structures. The Sturmgrenadiers were heavy infantry, and had set up two machine guns on either side. Rhodes studied the situation carefully. Somehow, maybe if he took the Haubitze . . . a silent shot rang out and nailed the German machine gunner in the head. His eyes rolled up, blood trickling from the hole in his helmet, and he collapsed over the machine gun. The others turned as Rhodes swung around, firing short bursts from his Thompson. Rifles cracked and the surprised Sturmgrenadier fell easily, throwing up their arms as bullets passed through their flesh. The last Sturmgrenadier pulled a pistol and shot Vess in the arm, tearing through the muscles. Vess collapsed out of shock as Rhodes put shots in both the troopers kneecaps, promoting a scream and blowing white shards of bone and blood onto the dirt. The German collapsed, moaning as Rhodes walked up to him and punched him. "I am Rhodes. And you?" he said in a friendly tone. The German spit blood and coughed. "Schmidt." "Well, we gonna have a little chat you and I. How strong are the German defences?" "I . . . do not know. They do not tell us anything." Schmidt sighed. "Wrong answer." Rhodes said. "Tie the bastard up, and patch up his kneecaps." Hours later, they reached the edge of the forest, and beyond, the city. It looked warm and inviting, but it was controlled by the Nazis. "We're supposed to start the assault, all squads, in 3 hours. Bombers will first soften up the defences. The 7th Tank Batallion will aid us in the initial attack, then pull back to defend our rear. Intel reports that there are no German tanks within the city, only on the outside. But bring those anti-tank rifles, just in case." "The inferno is coming boys, now let's haul ass!"
  14. 7. Panzer-Division Field Marshal Erwin Rommel Location:France 1940 The Panzer IIIs rumbled across the fields of France. They weighed 22 tons, a medium tank by standards. The crew of five operated the 37mm gun, two machine guns, and the 250 PS, 12-cylinder Maybach HL 108 TR engine. Armour was designed to combat tanks, a 30-15mm layer on all sides, 10-30mm on the top, and 5mm on the bottom. France was cut through like soft butter, the Blitzkrieg doctrine proving one of the most useful methods of the war so far. Towns and fields burned in wake of their rapid advancement into Allied territory, and soon they were at Arras. The Allies needed to stop the rapid expansion of Nazi Germany into France. British Matilda tanks moved in to buy time for the British, 16 QF 2-pounder gun armed Matilda IIs, and a few lighter vehicles. Two columns of infantry were there as well, the 6th and 8th Battalions Durham Light Infantry supporting the 4th and 7th Royal Tank Regiment, totalling around 2,000 men, and reinforced by 74 tanks. All hell broke loose. Rommel ordered his Panzers and infantry forward to attack the both columns. Some charged the left column, tanks firing as soon as they could get in range. 37mm guns boomed, explosions shattering the dirt and exploding on the Matildas. British infantry clashed with the motorized SS regiment. Screams and the chatter of gunfire rang for miles around as the defenders tried to push the British back, but it was no use. The Matilda tanks moved up, blasting away the Germans with their machine guns and cannons as Rommel desperately tried to stop them. His 37mm guns couldn't penetrate the armor! He slammed his fist down, making a fast decision. Under his command, 88 mm FlaK 18 AA guns and 105 mm field guns formed into a defensive line They rumbled and spat out HE rounds and anti-tank shells, catching the British advance. Matildas exploded in showers of sparks and hot metal, slewing to the sides as their crew tumbled out burning and screaming. Allied infantry were thrown to the ground and in the air by the massive explosions. Suddenly, the Luftwaffe swooped down, machine guns and bombs a-plenty. Men were cut down by the dozens and even more tanks went up in fiery explosions. The grass was red with blood and black with soot. The right column was taking heavy losses from Rommel's infantry and the SS divisions. He smiled, a reassuring muscle movement to his troops. The British were retreating, covering their helmeted heads as planes strafed them and infantry shot at their backs. One plane swooped down, guns blazing as it peppered a dozen running men with bullets. They twirled around for a bit like ragdolls and fell, leaking blood from a dozen holes. "Verfolgt sie!" Rommel ordered. He would destroy the BEF, right here and now. The Panzers and infantry lurched forward while the cannons pounded away. Much to his dismay, the French heavy armor stopped his own lighter tanks cold. He ordered a halt, and a retreat. In all, he wrote as he surveyed the battlefield later on, 89 men killed, 116 wounded and 173 missing and captured. 75 British and French tanks lay in smoking wrecks, steaming from their vicious battering by the Panzers. Rommel had underestimated them this time . . . but not in Africa. No, not then, and not ever again. Later in the war, Rommel would become a legend, a renowned German respected by both his enemies and fellows. He would leave behind a multitude of dead, captured, and feared enemies. Tanks under his command would destroy everything that opposed it. He would be known as "Desert Fox" for the rest of his career and well after.
  15. In fact, I have read World War Z. Very good book! Well, what is it about? Who knows? Really I meant this to be a short thing, for you to decide what happens next! Maybe the army will combat the undead, maybe they will fall. Who knows? That's up for you to decide ;)
  16. North Korea. Probably one of the most infamous countries around the world. Unlike its counterpart, North Korea was well equipped to deal with the epidemic that struck the world on July 22, 2012. As soon as reports came in that the United States of America had, indeed, been overrun with the creatures, the North Koreans made a quick decision and abandoned their defences immediately. Although, in the month of June before. . . Anti-tank guns, artillery, machine-gun nests, and watchtowers were constructed in little to no time at all. Pyongyang was a beehive of activity as workers, soldiers, and civilians alike scuttled about to their various jobs. Tanks rumbled into place, nuclear silos powered up, and planes circled above. The world watched in awe at this mass mobilisation of the army, and America warned them . . . Unlike many countries, North Korea was placed so that it would only need to defend two or one fronts, whilst many others had to defend from all four sides. As well, North Korea's population was isolated from the world, and therefore no persons were infected. Previously, North Korea's status would have been frowned upon, but if anyone alive could see it today, they would realize it was a brilliant foundation for holding off all threats. And, cleverly disguised by feeding the American satellites with false images, workers had dug huge bomb shelters deep underground. These were meant for the nuclear wars, but they could contain well over the total population of women, children, and men that could, if survived long enough, rebuild North Korea in the event that the Earth was torn apart by nuclear explosions. Food and water were stored, as well as machinery, weapons, ammunition, and a self-sustaining electric circuit that provided hot water, electricity, air conditioning and heat. On July 20, North Korea pulled back from the fronts. South Korea and the rest of the world was puzzled beyond belief. Troops just disappeared, going into their guard stations and never coming out. One bold American decided to step across the 2 foot-tall concrete block that ran along the border. A turret clicked into place and blew his torso back to the South Korean lands. When July 21 rolled around, North Korea was completely quiet. Nothing moved. Creatures tittered in the silent air as the American satellite operators sat scratching their heads, wondering "what the fuck is going on!?" Attempts at communication were not answered, and UAVs flown over the airspace were shot down in an instant. Navy ships going near the coast cracked in half as water mines, anti-armor guns, and rockets lit up the night sky and crashed down upon the merchant ships and the Royal Navy. Scanners indicated no life. So, North Korea had put all of its weapons on auto-pilot? That meant the nuclear silos as well! The UN decided on this, and Operation:Shutdown was being carried out tommorow in order to disable all weapons. July 22 started off as a normal day when the sun rose. It was the nicest summer so far, but that was going to end. The Navy sailed for the North Korean coast as an EMP flashed, disabling the electronics of the turrets. Paratroopers clouded the air, bombers roared in the skies, and tanks raced across the ground to overtake the defences before they reactivated. Unfortunately that was not the case. All turrets, not affected (by god they had advanced tech!)by the EMP, sprang into action and started chattering away. "This is Tank Commander Weatherby. We are taking the objecti-*CRASH*" "Overlord to Weatherby. Action Report?" "Shit, Overlord, the machines are shooting at us! They have anti-tank guns! Oh shit oh shit get us outta here! I repeat full *explosion, machine gun chattering* fall back! Unit is taking heavy losses and my driver is *screams and explosion*" "Weatherby? Weatherby? God damnit. Order the full retreat. Operation is aborted. Shit." Later that day, the epidemic struck. Millions of citizens crawled to the swamped hospitals, pleading that "their stomachs were on fire and their limbs were shaking and they had high fevers." The doctors and the CDC (Center for Disease Control) didn't know what it was. US military police tried to restore order, but they were too late. Citizens transformed . . . into primitive creatures. Their eyes glowed through the deepest of nights which were punctuated with screams and gunshots. The States fell in a matter of hours. The other countries went dark as well. Survivors of the epidemic, of the Pentagon, realized that hell, had North Korea been equipped more than anyone to deal with this? Had they started it? Or just expected it to come? Meanwhile, the North Korean citizens and soldiers were in their underground fortress, listening to the news reports of above and watching the disease that ravaged the world. Everyone except them. A day later the channels went down. 10 years later, the soldiers decided to open the doors for the first time. They crept out silently, guns facing the world of disease and pain. Nothing in North Korea had been touched. The turrets sat silent, except for the constant chattering of the ones on the South Korea front. It was pretty much the world it was today, without the people around them. The ocean couldn't cover up the hundreds, millions of boat wrecks that lined the coast. It appeared that people had tried to escape to the prepared North Korea, and there was the Navy and armies. Canadian, American, England, Australian, and German (not to mention the dozens of other country's) troops lay rotting in the streets. Tank wrecks, long stopped burning, sat in the fields. Overturned cars, broken tables, and newspapers. Downed bombers and planes and helicopters everywhere. Crashed in buildings, embedded in the ground, what a waste of machinery. Nuclear silos had already fired. Turrets all had enough ammo to sustain fire for 5 more years. From other reports, all world powers had exhausted their nuclear abilities as well. By now the world would be a wasteland. But what happens to them later on? What will the North Korean troops of "The New World" encounter in this bleak and unforgiving desert? As MyLittleHellhound, I have a challenge for you. Write the continuation to this. Make it first, or third person, have an antagonist, it really doesn't matter to me how you write it. I'm not totally sure if anyone will do this, but if you do, you already have my respect and admiration. It shouldn't be that hard to write it, this is a really easy foundation to write from.
  17. Awesome stuff! And hopefully that story medal will get implemented soon ;)
  18. Thank you very much flareon, this means a lot to me. Also, these are the kind of things I write "on the spot." This, probably because I was learning about WW1 at the time in History (Summer course) so I guess that is what spawned this! Looking forward to your part of the collab story, I've already proofread/previewed Jolteon's and it's very nicely done. ;)
