  1. just did it, sounds like a car or barrel exploding.
  2. just make sure you're not somehow triggering the crying sounds from the 'body drawers' (to the left if facing the window) as i call them.
  3. NO. as said above, you're looking too deep into it. those numbers haven't been mentioned in any subsequent map. they are just a silly little joke thrown in by some treyarc employee(s). NO SIGNIFICANCE WHAT SO EVER. you wanna know what IS a new finding in Verruckt? you know those books written by richtofen we can find all over the campaign and mutliplayer? well in BO verruckt, on the 'German' left side starting room, some of the books on the bookshelf by the Juggernaut machine are now those same books written by Edward, before they were just generic black book textures.
  4. i tried to activate the message today and couldn't. I got the radios in the storage hut and the comm room (shelf to right of phone desk) to make the same static as the ones in the start room. I could not activate the ones by the fishing hut. for clarification, it's one of the two on the cart outside the door, underneath the crank, right? there was another one i noticed in the fishing hut, but it didn't make any static when the action button was pressed.
  5. ^except for the part where richtofen says 'to the future!' so they most likely went forward, as evidenced by the modern weapon and the berlin wall outside of kino, which was built in the 60s.
  6. kino was meant for demonstrating the teleporters, as the teleporter is ON THE STAGE. also in der riese, on the picture board in der riese there was a picture of the teleporter with a sheet over it.
  7. i thought that any of the memory changing experiments took place BEFORE shi no numa, since they went straight from snn to der riese (proven in dr trailer, as richtofen says nikolai's nasuea is a side effect of teleportation), and then straignt to kino( as evidenced by the new snn radio message). so there wouldn't really be any time for dreamland to happen.
  8. the vietnam picture has the caption "Huong River, Vietnam." the huong river runs thru Hue City, which is where part of the campaign took place. There was a massacre in the city, mentioned in game intel, in which the vietcong slaughtered hundreds of 'enemies of the people.' it was mentioned in other game intel that there was a 'massacre' at der riese, so if anything, there is a connection between a confirmed map and the picture of the vietnam map.
  9. was playing black ops der riese, noticed on the loading screen, in the upper left corner, there was a piece of paper that said "Der Riese 25945" not sure but perhaps it JUST MIGHT be a password, someone try it.
  10. Yes, but Edward says: "This must be the DG-3 that maxis was hiding from me." or something like that when he gets the thundergun from the box. ( I could care less what edward says.  PROVE IT! and i couldn't care less what you babble on about. edward richtofen is a more credible witness. prove it? it's something we actually hear said in the game.
  11. ^ uhhhhhhhh you are aware that germany and japan were allies during ww2, right? and that they shared stuff with each other, like the ray gun (according to cia files in the main menu terminal)? of course group 935 had shi no numa, that's why in the radio transmission they said 'you must know by now, we failed to contain the assylum and had to move the experiment here (to snn)." that's why you can find boxes with german writing all over snn. the japanese soldiers were most likely there for security, to defend to cooperative effort between japan and germany. but that leads to the origional question, why say "Maybe they STOLE this from Japan". and why have 2 charachters say the same quote word for word? what's treyarch hinting at?
  12. 'running the loop' can work. the strategy of haveing 4 ppl, go to a hut, two at front, two kill at the windows, works well. made it to 18 that way.
  13. we know about this contradiction. the upgraded dg2 and the thundergun are both called dg3. nothing new.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO0gMqMu89M here's a video with pics of the area 51 and vietnam pictures.
  15. books written by edward are EVERYWHERE. they're just a prop, used in nuketown, vorkuta, and executive order, anywhere where there is books. it's just a silly little easter egg thrown in by treyarch. they're just reusing the same texture for all books.
  16. ^ uh yeah i do know about the meteor, duh. but if group 935 moved their experiments from verruckt to shi no numa, it can be assumed that they owned/controlled snn, so why would they need to steal from their own property? and we don't know the exact location of snn, it may not have been in japan, but rather in any number of pacific islands. Hell, it could even be vietnam, since japan controlled vietnam before and druing ww2. we simply don't know. but i'm just wondering what treyarch is hinting at by referencing japan during the 1960s.
  17. I've heard both Richtofen and Takeo say this quote, with identical wording, upon finding the second meteor peice. So, i'm guessing there HAS to be some significance to this, otherwise why would it be emphasized so much? (yes i did, search, and there doesn't seem to be a specific topic for this) First, who exactly would 'they' be? - Group 935 seems likely, but why would they need to steal 115 if they allready had the shi no numa meteorite? Then agian, Maxis stated in a radio transmission that they were low on 115, hence they mention the Nevada Base. - also, In a document from the Computer at the main menu, it metions that the Ray Gun was initially developed in Japan (under 'Rising Sun') until it was obtained by Maxis. The main question: Are we going to Japan? Ghost-town Hiroshima or Nagasaki would be an amazing, albiet controvertial location. Personally I'm not sure, as we saw a picture of Area 51 and the Huong River in Vietnam in the starting room of Five, so those seem to be more likely locations for zombie maps. Perhaps Japan will play some sort of role, if only in the form of background clues. thoughts?
  18. in usdd mcnamara says 'clearance prospero' or something like that. give PROSPERO a try
  19. bolt works on ps3 find for me. lound n clear. edit: while on the topic of gun sounds, on ps3, the m1a1 firing sound is wierd, almost like the pap version. 'woop woop woop' is what it sounds like to me. and the gewehr 43 sounds kind of like the fal.
  20. i like that they added the new song to nacht, adds some spice to a map that can other wise get dull. but do we know for a fact that it triggers randomly? does shooting the radio have any effect while the song is playing? also, anyone notice that when loading nacht in solo, of course it shows the new comin strip-ish image, but in the upper right, one of the crates has the hammer and cicle, but the other has the 5 stars of china. hmmmmmmmm.
  21. i made a video of this. there's a link to it in the 'berlin wall outside kino' tread.
  22. oh wierd, on ps3 i've gotten the colt from the box in der riese many times. but the colt isn't in the box in kino, pretty sure.
  23. winter's fury has a bigger clip, higher resserve ammo, and larger 'freeze' radius. the frozen zombies can be shattered when shot, so make sure someone with a decent gun is near you when your freezing.
