      That's awesome.

  2. The point is fairly straight forward and it shouldn't be difficult to comprehend. It's not about pictures, it's not about nudity, it's not about tits. Now frankly i don't see the need for a mature section, I simply see the issue is not having to pander to the "kids" of the site, where posts might be reported for whatever reason (swearing as an example), It's about being able to have a grown up discussion without fear of repurcussions. No one likes every other word to be fucking this or fucking that, it degrades the site it degrades the person posting it. However, using within the right form it shouldn't result in someone being reported for it. As I said earlier, we all just need to grow a pair. Life's to short to get hung up on utter nonsense.
  3. Lets call it at as it is and this isn't the topic doing be doing so but it's going to get discussed by the team anyway so here goes. Call of Duty is a game that comes with age restriction, in the UK that age restriction is 18, in the UK it generally falls under the PEGI rating system which is actually a voluntary code and not law. Whilst some games will fall under the same category as movies BBFC (British Board of Film Classification). Essentially it is against the law to sell a game to anyone under the age limit and "technically" it's against the law (as I understand it) to actually watch/play the age restricted content. This forum is dedicated to a game mode that is both age restricted in the UK and age restricted in the US as 18+. Fact is we have kids galore on this forum, I've nothing against this and welcome them with open arms. However, in my view, it also deters the more "mature" person from joining the site and contributing because of that fact. The topic in question just highlights the maturity differences between certain age groups. That's not a bad thing and it's not about having a go at them, as lets face we had a lot of "growing" up to do at that age as well, I certainly still have a lot of growing up to do and I'm 37. I don't think we need to create any specific sections for the more "mature" amongst us, I just think some may need to (as I say to my 10 year old boy when someone shouting at him on live and he gets upset). GROW A PAIR
  4. wow revived from the dead and now closed.
  5. @Slade, good idea, will take out deep thought as well.
  6. Old post brought to the front for no apparent reason would / should just be locked.
  7. I hear ya, not sure what we can do with the chat, I'll see what we can do with it and discuss the possibilities/restrictions.
  8. Ahh don't worry about that, it would still be prominent, just thinking out aloud - maybe moving random topic and the search function to the top beside the user profile information drop for PM's and notifcations but just as they are.
  9. Nope, not considering removing it, just wondering if it is used the often. @GRILL mentioned real estate and it was partly based on that, in fact it was based all on that. If more menu options are added then we could use the space, it just meant relocating it to a different position and I was just curious if it was used. I've used it myself to read old topics but not bring them back to life, it's a useful feature and brings a benefit.
  10. Hey All, We have introduced a new member usergroup, this comes before the members group & upon posting 5 posts New Members Will become Members. This does a couple of things for us, it allows us to track members that are actually active by simply looking at the board index "Who's Online". It also does a couple of other things, it will allow us to prevent "New Members" from accessing things such as chat until they have actually contributed to the site. So if you see a members name in orange, this means they are a "New Member" or a Newbie, Noob but we are going with the title "New Member". I'm still setting up the restrictions on the "New Member" group just now but everything will be sorted in 10 or 20 minutes. Any questions or feedback, as usual post a comment below.
  11. Right, I'm going on Origins later and plan on doing the easter in record time, need 3 more players and at least 1 with a capture card and twitch account. Up for it, drop me a PM.

    1. The Clay Bird

      The Clay Bird

well so far it's just me, myself and I :)

  12. Turtle beach XC1's - cost me £15 ($25) - sturdy, reliable and had them for over 3 years. However, for listening to music and DJ'ing, the sound from Sennheiser HD600 headphones is superb, crystal crear, treble is crisp, the bass is "fat" - just superb. They are fairly expensive though at over £220 ($350)
  13. I think Treyarch have, BOII hasn't been out the disc drive for nearly 6 months.
  14. I thought that everything worth finding was already combed over in the PC files. EDIT: also something I thought of, strange that he posted it the day before the last Extinction DLC drops. That crossed my mind as well
  15. Quicker just put fire staff into the front pedastal then picking up and replacing 4 times in a row from the fire pedastal to the front one. From what I understand it tends to glitch out if you put them into each robot - although if you left a generator off it doesn't help
  16. Has anyone took the bus around Tranzit stopping at each location but staying on the bus? Having four players checking the route as you go.
  17. Unless someone deleted the double post I don't see it - I do see 2 responses from you to 2 different points. So in that essence I see the double post (multiquote btw ) - I'm cool with it.
  18. Nice find. I have a theory that it is in another world but when we free Samantha it becomes the universe we usually play in. Although it is a nice find, it has already been discussed within this topic. The DLC description is the only place that the term "alternate-reality" is mentioned it occurs nowhere else and is not confirmed as an "alternate reality" just because it appears on the DLC description on the COD site.
  19. Is it just me or does anyone else think that the story isn't a mess? Sure we have things which have went unanswered and may have led us up a garden path, but isn't that part of a good story teller, leading you places and leaving trails that might not necessarily lead anywhere? To me the story makes "sense" - I'm off the opinion that we know that they listen to the community, we know that they will take the feedback and "potentially" satisfy those that need to be satisfied. However, I have a rule. If you watch 20 minutes of a movie and it's shit, tough. I'm now committed and I'll watch it to the end. Treyarch have committed themselves to telling a story, whether you think it's shit or not it's being told and they must stick it out to the end.
