  1. Yeah no a 2 sentence faulty comparison reply insulting @Lenne's intelligence and post-pumping your way to the next zombification rank isn't supporting your side of the argument. The fact you ignored 90% of what Lenne said and come back with some irrelevant clown claptrap says enough. The data vault 'tease' is irrelevant, as is the "high number" of concepts. You can't excuse the fact you're spoiling stuff with "hey I made a concept about it some time ago so it's okay" The DOA related achievement is even hidden on the site, evidently because it's a hidden achievement in-game. Now don't make me waste any more of my time by telling you what a spoiler is again.
  2. Leaked or not, spoilers are spoilers. Use tags to hide them in your posts as to not ruin the surprise for our other members. It takes literally 2 seconds. Disrespectful shit like this is what pisses me off and these kind of posts are what gets you a one-way ticket off CoDz. When someone posts a valid complaint, show them the same respect they show you or don't bother replying at all.
  3. They've already stated that DLC content may vary on last-gen consoles. My best guess is that they don't even know yet at this stage if they can bring all the DLC to last-gen. So it's safer to not announce a season pass rather than to announce one and then later having to drop it and offer refunds because some of the content you promised consumers couldn't be ported, see AC: Unity. Same thing happened with EA's Dragon Age Inquisition; first DLC made it to last-gen versions, then the other two - which were way more ambitious in scope - didn't.
  4. Look on the bright side: We're one step closer to getting that Zombies-only full game now. Also notice how they call the Zombies-mode as a whole Shadows of Evil. Wouldn't be surprised at all if last-gen versions only get MP maps as DLC.
  5. @Nightmare Voyager @The Meh It's not aimed at just Smith. You 3 are the only people that post in Labs. And so much like Games Lounge which is mostly just me sitting on my Hangman Throne and @Lenne and @Tasha banning each other, we disabled post increment.
  6. Yes, posts don't count towards your total in Zombie Labs. The reason should be obvious.
  7. PRE-ORDER NOW AND GET THE NUKETOWN BONUS MAP!!112 or just wait til a week after release and get it for free anyway.
  8. This game has got some serious balance issues. Kinetic Armor is pretty much useless, needs a serious buff Nerfed Rejack is now completely useless, might as well just respawn. Rolling Thunder and the GI Unit are a joke The Dart is a shittier version of the Hunterkiller Drone The Talon has some pathing issues, gets stuck from time to time. And like @Lenne said, the spawns are horrible.
  9. Overall the game looks like shit. No surprise really since treyarch's CoDs have always looked laughably bad. Especially the MP / Zombies. Thank god however the game maintains the same rich and vibrant color-palette that BO2 had; making the overall setpieces and characters look that much better. Is it a dealbreaker? No. But considering it's the "biggest entertainment franchise ever guys woah ;o" that Activision loves to throw around each time they mention CoD, you'd think they would put some of that earned money into making the game graphically look at least on the same level as their biggest competitor.
  10. All I want is the Bus Driver to return, the stuff he said was amazing.
  11. Those bios pretty much became one big joke after BO1 was released. You're telling me Stalin is supposedly afraid of Nikolai? Ты серьезно? The only one I can take serious is Takeo's. That's the only one that fits the character, and he even went as far as commenting about slaughtering his whole family in BO1.
  12. It wasn't actually. WaW had all its nazi symbolism removed and Zombies as a whole was also cut. Kino likewise also had its nazi references removed or subsequently replaced with the iron cross. Hitler specifically brought the Iron Cross back into military ranks during world war 2. It represents the timeframe as well as the swastika would.
  13. Not true. It has nothing to do with how Nazis are portrayed. Showing Nazi symbolism is illegal altogether in Germany and other countries. Inglourious Basterds had all its marketing material (wallpapers, websites, posters) edited to remove swastikas and other Nazi symbolism in Germany. The reason the movie itself wasn't censored is because all films are classified as works of art and these are by law protected from this 'no nazi symbolism' rule and thus don't have to be censored. Games on the other hand aren't. The symbol shown in the trailers is the Iron Cross. It has been used extensively by the german military in the past, including during World War 2. And like @InfestLithium said, this is all a business decision. These trailers are viewable worldwide, if they showed swastikas they'd have to make it unavailable for viewing in a bunch of countries like Germany, and have separate trailers for these countries or face serious legal consequences.
  14. @InfestLithium @Tasha @Matuzz Allow me to translate: it's Russian for: "Risk of Radiation Contamination within 500 meters." That's standard mandatory safety warnings for anything containing radioactive materials. Treyarch simply re-using campaign / mp assets, nothing new there.
  15. Theater may be limited on consoles, on PC it's easy to no-clip through the entire map. Regarding the code, it actually is that easy. You can view all the EE steps, what happens when the players trigger stuff and how that changes stuff in-game all from the code. Like I said, all you need is basic programming knowledge so that you know what to look for and what you're looking at. Take for instance the fountain setup from Buried. Just by looking at the code you can quickly rule out any "extra or hidden easter egg steps". Pretty much the only thing you can use Radiant for is looking for hidden stuff that's outside of the map and that's not being controlled by any code. And even then it's as useful as going in Theater on PC and looking around since Radiant gives zero information on the functions of the objects in the map.
  16. If you want to check if there is any undiscovered stuff left the best and fastest way is to just check the gamefiles. @DeathBringerZen @Lenne Everything is well organized, so it takes like 2 seconds to find all the code related to the easter eggs. And if you know your code languages you can easily see what stuff is in the actual map and what stuff isn't being used. Obviously localized string files containing stuff like "Press X to start the Bus" and unused texture files tell us nothing, so checking those is often a waste of time. And you don't need Radiant for anything, EEs are all controlled via C++ code. And with theater you can just glitch out the map if you really want to look for hidden rooms.
  17. I love how some xbox people kept their mouth about one console getting DLC early shut for all these years right up until Activision switched partners with Sony and now timed exclusives are suddenly "morally bad and everyone should get the DLC early". Timed exclusives were always shit.
  18. Taking a beloved multiplat franchise and making it (timed) exclusive to your platform must suck eh?
  19. Not really. Take the singleplayer campaign. Co-Op supports 4 players on current gen versions of the game because current-gen consoles can 'take it', and right now that other studio is working on supporting 2 players on last-gen versions. Key word is working on, so it may be scrapped because of the 360/ps3 hardware limitations. They aren't purposefully limiting the current gen versions just so that all the stuff in the game will make the transition to last-gen. It's not like Activision is telling Treyarch "Hold up, you cannot have this in your game since we won't be able to make that run also on the last-gen versions" A whole different studio works on the last gen versions. They'll try to have as much content as possible of the current gen versions in theirs, but obviously stuff needs to be toned down a lot. And worst-casio scenario stuff gets cut. There's no valid basis to these claims that the gamemodes, maps or gameplay for that matter will suffer significantly for the current gen versions because the game is cross-gen. Or that current gen versions would get more if it was exclusive to current gen. If we're talking open world with advanced AI systems like the Nemesis System, then those claims are more believable. But it's Call of Duty. 6v6 MP, 4 player co-op with a few dozen Zombies. That stuff can easily make it to last gen. All they need to do is tone down the graphics, resolution, lighting etc and voila.
  20. I'm not saying you're not allowed to complain about the fact the game being cross-gen. Go right ahead, personally I think people should've moved on from last-gen ages ago and these last gen ports of current gen games are terrible. But that's besides the point. Right now many people as soon as they hear cross-gen are like: next-gen versions are being handicapped by last gen limitations guys. Truth of the matter is that game development is way more complicated to just draw simple deductions like that.
  21. Are people still using the We're being hold back by previous gen console excuse? People need to stop using the old consoles as scapegoats for a game's flaws and shortcomings and simply accept the fact that the current-gen hardware is already outdated as fuck and devs already need to comprise on certain fronts to make the game look and play the best it can on current gen systems. Having said that, it looks like CoD: Ghosts 2 will be the first true current-gen only CoD. Looking forward to Activision re-using that excuse of a marketing device even though we know it won't make a fucking difference.
  22. @BestOfAllTime32 You should listen to what @the_clay_bird says. Unlike you he knows what he's talking about. Now you're just pulling random numbers out your ass [console market is 6 billion, really?] and acting like you know commercial economics. The US and EU are the biggest console markets on Earth. Together they make up for 75-85 percent of PS4's sales. Xbone has most likely similar figures. You're making it sound like hitting break even is bad. It's not. A lot of business companies have BE as their main objective. Also generally speaking when you lower a product's price you sell more of said product. And MS is far from reaching break even with Xbox. Last year they announced record revenue profits on the back of strong Xbox 360 and Xbox One sales.
