On The House gives each player a new perk and perk slot, so be sure to have 4 perks, so that you get a fifth.

On the Cthulu/Christian mythology stuff: you have the 'mark of the Beast' on your hand, literally. The symbol is the Beast symbol in game.

    Save us tentacled Jesus! Har.

Move over Dianetics, Trollargh just invented a new religion.

    ++++++++

Ragdoll, i checked last night: after giving the AS to a Pod (since all of my zombies were running in place), i checked the workbench that i built AS on and it also said nothing.

I had Nar-Ullagua before i gave it up.

See don't that seem odd to you, I'm not sure how it is on last gen but I know for a fact on current gen, If your holding the "Apothicon Servant" the icon pops up and reads; "Will be available from the Mystery Box Later".

So normally when you replace it and check the Table it'll read; "Now available in the Mystery Box". Is it like this at all on last gen?!?!

  2. See, that's my problem with Shadows, the very reason I NEVER run with Quick Revive anymore. Jugg still takes up 1 of 4 slots, the main reason I hate "GobbleGums" allowing you to obtain more than 4 Perks, instead of a small E.E. to obtain more, internet is required for those particular GumBalls.

Now I also feel as if Stamin-Up & Double Tap 2.0 are required, try running around with good "Ol' Fisty" without Stamin-Up. You'll be breathing harder than Maggie in 2 Seconds. I would normally use Widows Wine as my final Perk, but as of late I find myself using Speed Cola instead.

I'm not sure about the Mule-Kick glitch maybe one of our Architects can explain it a little better....

    @steviewonder87

    @HitmanVere

Do you guys know what factor plays in determining what gun is lost when downed?!?!

  3. So a YouTuber that's pretty big in the FIFA world, goes by the name of SpencerFC uploaded a Vlog. During this particular video he was at an event where there were a bunch of systems set up, seemingly showing off the Awakening DLC.

While panning across the monitors, a group of players just so happened to be playing, "Der Eisendrache". It lasts for a mere 2 seconds, but I believe it does in fact show the Mystery Box were going to be seeing.

    ______

It may be kind of hard to see, its "right" their.

So I think it looks pretty good, however I can't help but think of this when looking at it (could be completely different) obviously without everything on it.

    Maybe get the trophies -

Maybe it has something to do with  the 10 Zombies in the shops...

Dont know why someone should do this...

    There's also the trophy for;

    • Killing 5 parasites in 1 train ride

    • Spotting the Shadow Man 5x

    • Killing 10 Zombies while ensnared by a Widows Wine grenade

But I agree, being the achievement for killing 10 Zombies in single Burst from the Rocket Shield lead to something, maybe the other ones do to.

  5. @Shreebington

Yea I'm well aware of that. I was replying to what the previous people were talking about. In my opinion the 3 "Upgrade_Ready" Quotes, which all 4 variations of the "Apothicon Servant" can acquire, are simply telling you 1 of 3 possible ways in obtaininga  "Cocoon".

The Quotes could also suggest, what to do next. Each of the 3 meaning something different. The thing about the "Upgrade_Ready" Quotes I ddon't really understand, the only thing you have to do once you've built the "Apothicon Servant" is simply fire it in the presence of a "Margwa" or "Feed" it upon reloading.

Once you do this for the first time, you should trigger one of the 3 possible quote I've got a couple different Threads I made pertaining to this, if you'd like to give them a look. One in particular is,

  6. So in the past I've mentioned how I believe that we've got to get rid of the "Apothicon Servant" in order for it to be taken out of the Mystery Box, and the IDGUN Quest could actually begin.

    _____

Well while playing last night, I had another one of those games, I had replaced the "Apothicon Servant" earlier in the game, spent well over 100k points, and not once did I ever see it in the Box.

So normally when you go to the Craft Table where you originally built it at, if you've put it back in the Mystery Box, a little "Hint" icon pops up saying, "Weapon now available in Mystery Box". If you go to the Table where you haven't built anything at all, it reads the same as when you don't have any parts at all, "Additional Parts Required".

    _______

These are some images from the game I played last night.

Here you can see the final build table still says, "Additional Parts Required"

    IMAG1683_1.thumb.jpg.a691972b6fbf3e9e1b5

This is an image of the Waterfront Districts Table. The same one I originally built the "Apothicon Servant" on. Now normally right here would read, "Weapon will be available in the Mystery Box Later" or "Weapon now available in the Mystery Box". Here you can see it doesn't say anything, does this mean I've actually gotten to the next step, and now we need to figure out how to trigger the spawn of the "Plague Pods" or a "Cocoon".

    IMAG1681_1.thumb.jpg.d03b85b8fcf38980770

This is just me showing I have all the parts necessary and that I've already built it.

Does anyone know the exact reason that Mule Kick sometimes takes your third gun slot, and sometimes takes another instead?

I've heard that it always takes the last gun you get (bo2+3) but that isn't true, unless the Apothicon Servant breaks that rule.

    ----------

In BO1, you would always lose the third gunslot.

In BO2, and BO3, the gun that disappears obviously isn't always the third gun slot.

This has been tested and confirmed many times.

But what is the deciding factor as to which gun slot disappears?

I've clearly had it take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, seemingly random.

    Thanks.

I can't say for certain, as I don't normally run with Mule-Kick. In times that I have I've noticed, when you get downed, whatever weapon you had out is the one you would lose.

There have been other times where I would use the Apothicon Servant & Ray Gun, get Mule-Kick, than buy the Vesper off the wall. This way I know the Vesper is the extra weapon. Times when I did this and didn't keep replacing my two Primary weapons. When downed I would always lose the Vesper or whatever weapon I replaced that with.

So I would say once you buy Mule-Kick, if you replace one of your Primary Weapons, that in return becomes the extra weapon slot.

I got it to zero twice more in the game that i just played.

    No white pods. Grr.

I tried to try everything else that i had done,  except the massive Widow's Wine spider feast. I'll try that next game. I even had Lor-Zarozzor again.

I found that doing my Fancy Grind camp spot, i could pull out the sword and headshot them easily without flanking attacks from zombies. For unknown reasons, the game downed me and i was stuck with the sword out, but it did no damage... 2 of 3 deaths were glitches... Sigh. But the first time that i did it, I got all 10 headshots easily.

I checked pap, all altars, looked for cocoons. Nothing that i noticed.

The counter must do something! As it looks, getting headshots seems bad: making the sword end early and giving me downs without even getting hit.

Maybe 10 at once isn't necessary, just get a few here and there until it gets to 30? 50? 115?

    Please don't be Tranzit2...

Haha. Did you try using the Shadow Man. I don't think it's Tranzit 2.0

I've got an image I'm going to post in the T-Virus thread but it's a good one. I just don't know if it warrants a new Thread based on the information.

The camo was a gift for any special edition. I got mine from buying the digital deluxe edition.

The panzer in the calling card is just a carry over from the original weaponized 115 pack that Treyarch put in BO2.

I'm all for recognizing when Treyarch does sneaky things, but it is a massive stretch to say that they chose this calling card in BO2 for release with a Micro pack in order to let it become a fan favorite so they could bring it back in special editions of BO3, just to foreshadow the return of the panzer in DLC 1 of BO3.

I did find it kind of "Ironic" looking back at the Origins End Cutscene, 2 different toy models of the Panzer.

  11. @83457

If during your first "Beast" you started at Stamin-Up, you could get everything done in 1 "Beast". Be sure there's a 2x in the Power-Up room.

For the 2nd "Beast" activate at Q.R. run to "Canals" jump on the right banister about halfway down, jump across. From here use the Grapple, zap.the Perk & open the Stairs.

Then do the damn thing in Waterfront.

  12. @DaveLo07

Have a read at this, as this may be similar to what we were just discussing.

    _______

Hahaha, OMG, this F*****G map is really starting to drive me crazy (Shadows Obviously)....

    ______

So just a little while ago I was playing a "Fun Game". Basically running around not really giving 2 F***s wether I lived or died. I had the (Upgraded) "Apothicon Servant", haha sure did, that's what happens when you don't have internet and have to do an update every other day.

Anyways, being that I was using the "Arbgwaoth" and had "Upgraded Arnies" I wasn't really staying in any particular spot. I would often times find myself getting trapped & spamming the "Arbgwaoth". In one of these instances I was pretty much (for the lack of a better word) "Dry Humping" a "Purple Pod".

While all of this was taking place I decided to give it a nice long look, (as if something was actually about to go down, or someone). I realized the "Lips" on the "Pods" or the Ridges that "Pop" out. Looked very similar to the Tail or coiled end on the "Apothicon Servant".

    _____

Now in the past I've stated, I thought the Tail resembled the "Apothicon Egg". While I still feel this holds merit, I also feel as if the "Pods" relate somehow as well. Almost in a sense that the "Apothicon Egg" & "Pods" represent each other. We've seen on the inside of the " Apothicon Egg" a small creature growing, which I believe to be the "Apothicon Servant".

So I'm not sure how many of you have ever noticed this, or even paid much attention to it for that matter. There are these certain "Golden Pods" everyone of them has a Creature inside of it, in this case a "Parasite". The question is why, every time you open this particular "Golden Pod" a "Parasite" emerges from it.

    _____

Now not to get to far off track, to the point where I've lost everyone (if I hadn't already). I've went over this map, probably 1000 times at least. This is no exaggeration, not even in the slightest. While Shadows is definitely not my favorite map, I'm willing to bet statistically, it'd say otherwise.

In this time, I've accumulated quite a few "Crazy" Theorys or Ideas, pertaining to everything this map offers. One such Theory I came up with is (begins flipping through 30+ pages of notes).

    _______

    "Morphology of Diptera"

    • "A case in which, "Parasites" do NOT kill their Host, are generally much smaller than their Host, and will oftentimes live ON or IN their Host for an extended period of time."

    ______

Now this would be a lot easier to explain if I could post an image of what I'm talking about, however my Attachment Cache Quota is full, therefore I can no longer post any images.

    You've got 2 Groups. Plants & Animals.

    While in Plants;

    • Green = Alive

    • Brown = Dead

      In Animals however;

    • Red = Alive

    • Purple = Dead

Now oddly enough those are the same colors we actually see the "Pods" physically go through. Would that make the "Pod" start out as a Plant to then become an Animal. Could it simply be when it turns "Purple" we can acquire the "Margwa Tentacle" which happens to be an Animal.

There's also a feeding strategy these "Omnivores" go through. As well as

Gatherers: lighter shade of each color.

Miners: Darker shade of each color.

    _____

Pretty interesting stuff to say the least, I feel as if it's something very miniscule were missing here. I definitely think there is some kind of Easter Egg for the "Pods" regardless if "Plague Pods" exist or not.

Ah, I would have never thought of that route xD. I really need to get into the habit of calling it the Anvil, not the boxing gym xD.

I don't know why, but I tend to never use the trams. Using them I may be able to get PaP open on round 2. I'll write up a refined guide once I have tried it out. After taking a break from SoE, I'm finding myself loving it, finding the best way to do solo runs mostly by myself

Yea to me Shadows seems more of a Solo map, although I've never played it with anyone else (lol) Co-Op could be fun with the right Group.

Using the Tram on the early rounds ony benefits you, by saving points. Outside of that and gathering the 3 Symbols for the Sword Chamber, I rarely ever use it, actually I NEVER use it.

The Anvil, Boxing Gym. Boxing Gym, the Anvil. It's all the same.

  14. 39 minutes ago, 83457 said:

Well, your loads are different, but currently it doesn't run well. It's pretty fast for camping, but hard to do any circles or reverses there as the zombies stream in in 2 unbroken chains.

The altar floor is fairly easy, but no great place to headshot, just turn and burn (blast furnace), or use AS. Stay on the move around the couches and altar.

Yea, I've seen Steve & Scottie run there. I've found that running in the shape of a Banana works a lot better than an actual circle.

  15. 59 minutes ago, 83457 said:

With your loads, i found that real easy. Now, the loads drag out a little, so it's still fun there, but requires some more reverses than before.

Also, sometimes when I play survival-map style, I leave the $1250 Door and Ruby Rabbit closed there for fast loads.

Even just leaving RR closed speeds up the loads, with none loading upstairs. (I often play my "WaWbagger, the infinitely prolonged" survival map like this).

I've thought of this a few times. What's great about it is the Rift; you have an escape if needed, and no zombies will come through normally*. If you get overrun and lose someone, you can go to Subway, reload et cetera, then go back through  the Rift and it will clear a space, then fire AS or throw LA to regain control, revive players. Then they can jump through the Rift and head to perks, or resume camping until safe to do so.

*(solo, zombies follow you through a Rift, but with 2 or more players, zombies run up through the Subway steps, or simply respawn, they don't follow you through a Rift. Unless this changed recently).

Window guy probably should have AS. I love the 'turned' idea for window watching.

It's a shame that Trip Mines destroy your shield, but maybe that doesn't happen to another player, so you could throw your Trip Mine/BB at their feet for protection.

Feedback on Trip Mines versus other players' shields welcome.

Yea bro, I believe Window Camping 4 players, each having Turned. Shit would be amazing, and fun too see honestly. I can't answer your question pertaining to the Trip-Mines/Bouncing Betties, I would like to think they wouldn't affect another players shield. However, in this game I'd almost be certain they do.

    ____

Normally I run Jugg, Widows Wine, Double Tap 2.0, Stamin-Up and/or Speed Cola, normally one or the other. Never both, dependant upon if I'm camping or running marathons.

I've been thinking here recently about trying to run on the main floor/first floor of "Rubys Rabbit". They come from 2 general directions, down the stairs & up the stairs. Although it'd be quite tight, in think it could be possible.

Further testing to be done by myself.

  16. 34 minutes ago, ultimategamings said:

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be trying that Canal one soon, I take it you're extremely close to the end as you open the last stairs?

I'd be interested to hear your Waterfront method, I have an idea what it would be, starting at the workbench one, opening the gym, running back to get the belt, rift door, and then perk?

Yea Canals are right tight. With a little practice, you'll have it down in no time.

    So for the Waterfront District, your going to want to ride the Tram there to begin with. Now there are a couple ways you can go about doing this;

    • A) Dont worry about opening the "Rift" Doors. Since you'll already have the "Canal District" open.

    • B) Spend a few extra points on the gate between the Championship Belt and Beast Fountain.

Now upon arrival at the Waterfront Districts Tram Station, head down the stairs and buy the gate on your left to access the "Fuse" & "Shield" part. This is where you will begin your journey in opening the Waterfront District in one "Beast" Transformation. At this point you should have already decided wether or not you were going to open the "Rift" now or later on.

Now once again you have a decision to make, before "Transforming". If you want to run the, 5and5 "Front of Waterfront" Strat, then once you transform don't worry about shocking the Stairs.

    ______

So you'll begin at the Beast Fountain, located directly beside the Perk Machine. Immediately turn and Zap the Perk, (depending on your strat) next zap the Stairs or go straight towards the "Egg Statue".

Once you've cleared that debris, run out the opening and turn 90° to your right and look slightly upwards. Grapple over to the "Belt" & knock it down. Now depending on the decision you made earlier, either drop straight down, and open the "Rift" door, and be prepared to "Haul Ass" to the Anvil.

If you decided to open the "Rift" later, once you knock the crate down containing the "Championship Belt", do a running jump over the fence and follow it up by high-tailing it all the way to the "Anvil". This essentially is how to open the "Waterfront District" in one "Beast" Transformation.

    ____

Good luck, once again a little practice, You'll have it down in no time. This one is relatively easy, as long as you decide beforehand the route your going to run. Unlike me where I always forget to buy the Gate, so when I open the "Rift" I have to use another one for the Anvil & part of the underground area.

  17. @InfestLithium

That sucks. They need to bring internet where I live.

This is the O.P. from the Medals Suggestion page.

Maybe update the Current Medals featuring the Transit Crew to the Shadows Crew. As well as the O4 related Medals, to the NO4.

How's the idea of a Medal pertaining to how "Early" you open PaP in Shadows (solo only). Not too dissimilar, a Medal pertaining to how long one can survive not opening the PaP Room (solo only).

How many rounds can one survive using only the "Civil Protector". Obviously use a gun to point whore, but the objective would be furthest Round, Least amount of kills.

Here's a good one, survive as long as possible, without ever killing a Single Margwa.

These are some off the top of my head, if I sat and  put some more thought into it, I could probably come up with better ones.

I survived till 117 it's insanely hard nothing kill them it takes 50 ray gun bullets to kill one zombie.

    GG on 117 btw.

    ____

The "Apothicon Servant" kills them infinitely, although it sucks now only having 10 shots, but that's your desperation weapon. If you use any wall weapon with Blast Furnace (also kills infinitely), your pretty much set.

This isn't even taking into consideration the Upgraded Sword or "Keeper Sword" which kills infinitely. Just throw it out and let it do its thing, one suggestion I would give with this, never use a "Rift Portal" while it's out flying around the map, as it'll cause "Connection Interruption".

  19. I like the look of the New Medals, Too bad I don't have internet. How could I prove any of those, are the total Rounds survived kept track of, as well as all the rest.

    ____

Would I be eligible for the Contributor Medal, since I suggested a Medal should be for opening PaP on Round 1 in Shadows (l didn't specify you had to PaP a weapon though). Also I suggested to have the NO4 characters on the Medals (although that was to replace old Medals).

  20. @MixMasterNut

If that is indeed Griffen Castle in those 5 frames, that could very well explain why in the original trailer, the part where a Rocket could be seen in the Courtyard.

    ____

Is it just me or do the Zombies look really "Old", like they've been here for quite a long time.

I'm not really fond of the Hell Hounds returning mid round with Zombies, as an individual boss Round, Yes.

Appeared to be a "Dragon" in the Underground Cavern. I believe another onewas shown near the end of the trailer, on a wall on the right-hand side of the courtyard area (maybe not though).

  21. @Nieno69

Yea, we in fact did see the same video. I know the game was modded, but that shouldn't change wether or not the "Keeper Sword" kills the Shadow Man.

I figured he noticed while using it, the Counter was going down, but the Shadow Man wasn't dieing. Therefore, he paused the game started recording and finshied the Counter until it hit 0/0, in which case immediately it's put away.

Same thing that happened to me when I did it, & the same thing that happened to @83457 when he did it.

  22. I've found myself hanging out right outside of Ol' Rubys Rabbit. Fun place to kite the Zombies, shield is right there when you need it, and since I don't run using Q.R. I can easily access the C.P. whenever he drops dead.

As you run up the steps to the Tram, note that the Tram always leaves in a 180° direction from the direction that you ran up the steps. With this in mind, you will always run to the correct end of the Tram car, where the controls will be active.
