Hahaha, get it? next month. .. xbox always gets everything first ... *ahem*

It's either: referring to the next Zombies installment/map or a 'hint' to a secret we haven't discovered yet. My bet's on the latter. I have my alarm clock set and will check the files next month. ha.

Keep the fog to an extent, and instead of Denizens, have something actually threatening lurking in there that could attack you if you dared to venture into those areas. Denizens are only annoying because they slow you down and you have to keep abusing your knife button. In my opinion it would be awesome to have mutated wolves or even hellhounds, who toy around with you first - making noises and circling around you (of course hidden by the fog) so you get confused and then if you panic/run into them you're in trouble.

The Storyline! What are Treyarch going to do with it?!
Slade replied to lead_psychopath's topic in Research & Development
Actually, Craig. It's not a camera the dog knocks over, but Dempsey's actionfigure. We see the cutscene straight from his perspective.- 58 replies

Same guys who created Tranzit/Die Rise/Buried also created Mob and Origins. This whole 'campaign team took over with producer Jason' is a joke. A bigger budget does not mean a whole different crew worked on it. Dual layered Blu Rays have a capacity of 48 gigs. Do take into account that next-gen games take up a lot more space than previous gen games. I would love to see more Zombie content with the Map Packs. Especially now that Ghosts has shown other (micro) DLC possibilities besides your standard $15 5 maps. Like for instance: playable character DLC or a Maxis Announcer Pack. But their priority lies with the #1 reason most people buy their DLC: Multiplayer.

Not really. I'd love a discussion about Nuketown/Marlton though, especially with the new info/evidence presented to us by Origins. ( Hint, hint @GRILL )

He says: "They asked ME to leave? I was the one reporting the disgusting behavior.. makes no sense" He says it in Tranzit and in the Nuketown Bunker

The Final Chapter didn't stop Jason or Jigsaw, it sure as hell won't stop Activision if there's still some money to be made.

how is there not a zombie map in Chernobyl
Slade replied to tryna roonalot's topic in Story Discussion
I don't think so. In every game manual ever, it clearly says that everything you see, read, hear about or that are otherwise referenced/mentioned that could be in any way related/linked to the real world in said game is pure fiction. This goes for persons, events, corporations, places etc.- 21 replies

Red. The other ones look weird and out of place if you ask me.

Someone go on Twitter and ask Jimmy just how many sons he actually has. Like Boom said, it's fake. Good luck finding another job in the industry after publicly leaking information as a beta tester.

Nice post, very detailed. +1 More backstory and more playable areas please. I love how they claimed pre-release that "Tranzit is a whopping 180 times larger than any zombie map we've ever done" yet 'forgot' to mention 99% of that are actually unplayable areas.

What Makes a Wonder Weapon a Wonder Weapon?
Slade replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Now you're just trolling. Go back and actually take the time to read my posts. Wonder Weapons are revolutionary super weapons. That's how the Nazis defined WWs back then, and that's how they are still defined to this day. So how you can still claim that only weapons from the WuWa program can be called wonder weapons is beyond me. Is the Thundergun a wonder weapon? Of course, how many other guns made during that time period have the ability to blast through dozens of soldiers. And if you gave 100 soldiers thunderguns versus 1000 soldiers wearing AKs well you can guess the outcome. "No it's not because it didn't originate from the Wonder Weapon program" is simply false, reasons mentioned above. -
What Makes a Wonder Weapon a Wonder Weapon?
Slade replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Wunderwaffe: german for wonder weapon. A term used by nazi propaganda to describe "superweapons" that - once used by a party who's chances were slim to none prior to using the weapons - would suddenly turn the tide and result in a unexpected victory by the losing party thanks to said wunderwaffes special advantages. Nowhere does it state that only weapons from the program are Wonder Weapons. Because if that was the case then the term wouldn't still be used today to describe powerful weapons. So it really has nothing to do with Group 935 other than the fact that Maxis made them design, create and produce wunder weapons for the Third Reich. The program itself wasn't made by them, it was made by the Third Reich and they funded Group 935 to create such super weapons. Recall Maxis's complaining about how he needed more time and money to finish up and mass produce the DG-2. -
What Makes a Wonder Weapon a Wonder Weapon?
Slade replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The Wonder Weapon program wasn't created by Group 935, so you can't say that only 935 made weapons count. And since the term is still used today to describe powerful weapons, you can't say it's World War 2 / 115 weapons only. If you prefer to exclude the less powerful and handmade special zombie weapons from your personal WuWa list that's fine, but calling/labelling them super weapons instead of wonder weapons is just silly. Wonder Weapon means Super Weapon. -
What Makes a Wonder Weapon a Wonder Weapon?
Slade replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I agree with your list, Flammen. The "Wonder" in Wonder Weapon refers to the amazing and efficient way of killing large amounts of enemies with minimal work. It's not about how "wonderful" the technology powering the gun (like the 115 req.) or parts that make the weapon work are. (Group 935 weapons only/no guns made by survivors count) -
You're assuming he's from Norwegian, or Denmark, or from Sweden perhaps? Ludvig wouldn't be 'more correct' than Ludwig. Since it's exactly the same word, just spelled differently in other countries. But since Ludwig is how the germans spell it, that one would make the most 'sense', hence I prefer to spell it as Ludwig.
-
Since Ludwig is a German name, and Ludvig is a Scandinavian name, I'm saying his name is spelled as dr. Ludwig Maxis.
-
Since when does a Wonder Weapon have to use/contain 115? The term is used to describe all-powerful superweapons. Sure, the first WuWa (DG-2) used 115, but that doesn't mean they all have to before you may call it a super gun. Remember back in Die Rise's discription: use a variety of new wonder weaponry. That there should tell you that Treyarch uses the term as it was originally (and still to this day) used, to describe powerful weapons. @Mocking Maxis made the staff copies, not Richtofen.

The few sounds you mention just before Maxis gets shot are the gun getting pulled from underneath the shooter's clothes. This would answer the biggest contradiction in the Suicide Theory, namely: why/how did Maxis get a hold of a gun to shoot himself without Shuster and Groph knowing about it. It's simple, he hid it in his coat and pulled it out right after saying his goodbye to his daughter. This then caused Shuster/Groph to scream no because they still needed him. Nice thread @Naitrax. We are lacking theories that dare to dive into unexplored territory. Bwaaains to you.

R. 37: When someone is down, instead of basing your decision - of whether or not to go revive him - purely on the value of the guns he/she is holding, remain rational and weigh out your odds of succesfully reviving/surviving the rescue attempt. If it's too risky, don't go for it. Dead Teams Tell No Tales

Anyone know any fun drinking games involving Zombies?
-
Yeah here's one: Everytime you buy a perk it's two shots. Everytime you hit the box, it's a shot. And every 5 rounds, the person with the least amount of head shots, takes a shot.
-
hmmm. we used to do a fun drinking game in MP in BO1 where for each kill you gave out a drink, each time you got killed you took a drink. Every headshot kill you gave out 3 drinks, each time you got killed by a headshot you drink 3, and each hatchet kill you gave out 5 drinks and took 5 if you got killed by a hatchet. It was a blast
