  1. I just found another quote to disprove the whole "Kino-Cotd-SL-Ascension-Moon" Theory. Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiK9w2Gy ... re=related Skip to 4:23. Richtofen claims he has "one more piece after this". This statement would not be true according to the above timeline, as Richtofen would still have TWO more pieces after this: the Gersch device and the Golden Rod.
  2. EXACTLY. You've just put into words exactly what ive been thinking about all this black ops 2 is set in the future crap....
  3. The Callofduty website was just updated again! This time its another mysterious phrase: "The future is not as far off as most people think- We're not ready for it" What does this mean? Is Treyarch trying to tell us that Black Ops 2 is NOT set in the future as some people are speculating? Thoughts?
  4. This sounds like a solid theory. I had always wondered about whether Treyarch would elaborate on the whole Mason-Kennedy Assasination thing or just leave it as it was. One thing I never understood is this line, from the Campaign mission Revelations. "Oswald....Compromised..." The word "compromised" usually means that someone failed to do something. So does this mean that Oswald failed in some way in the assasination? Maybe Oswald was compromised in some way and Mason went forward with the killing having Oswald as a scapegoat? Maybe they wanted to keep Mason handy given his position in the CIA?
  5. More than likely after or during CotD, actually. It would have to be before COTD wouldn't it? When the crew arrive at COTD Richtofen says they went too far into the future. So in order to reach his DESIRED destination, he would have to travel BACK in time no?
  6. Wait a second.... so since in the Shangri-La EE we travel back and forth through time then the ANDO thing on the radio would tell us that Brock and Gary's expedition took place in the 2000's right? Not necessarily when the crew visits SL. Correct, those are his handheld radios so we can assume the expedition was during the 2000s. I see no reason to believe that we traveled back in time from Call of the Dead to Shangri-La because they make no hint of it in quotes that I have heard, so I believe that we play there directly after CoTD. So from all that we can assume that the time when the crew visits Shangri-La is some time after 2004 but before COTD? Sounds good to me!

  8. There only was 1, which he kept dropping in his numerous deaths And yes, that radio. Haha okay thanks for clearin tht up for me. Im relatively new to these forums, I used to post alot on the black ops website zombies forum but I feel like people here are ALOT more into the zombie storyline. Im in better company here :)
  9. So then, in all reality we have NO IDEA when Shangri-La takes place?? it could be 30, 40, 50+ years earlier??? We have an idea. Radio dropped says 2004 on it, so at least after 2004. What radio? one of those personal radios Brock was using???
  10. So then, in all reality we have NO IDEA when Shangri-La takes place?? it could be 30, 40, 50+ years earlier???
  11. I agree that the crew VISTITS Shangri-la after COTD but Shangri-la takes place before COTD timeline wise... see what im saying?
  12. Beautiful post....this should come in handy. Just one problem: why are we assuming that Shangri-La is AFTER COTD? Richtofen says they traveled too far into the future. Logically, shouldn't they travel BACK in time to reach Shangri-La?
  13. Just googled this and found an interesting article with some possible links to zombies??? The article says that Waters lived near a government FIRING RANGE. As you all know the map firing range has always been rumored to be he setting of an upcoming zombie map. And remember the sign outside the map? "Gateway to Hell"?!
  14. I personally think this would be an AMAZING idea.... the only problem is that the normal crew is constantly cracking jokes an throwin out cheesy one-liners and making the Walking Dead crew say stuff like that would really compromise the grim feeling that IS the Walking Dead... But if they could make that work this would be a pretty LEGIT idea. like who wouldn't enjoy playing as Rick with his revolver or impaling a zombies head w/ Darryl's crossbow?
  15. You guys all seemed to not be taking into account the fact that the crew has a time machine at their disposal.... that fact gives the next map unlimited possibilities! The fact that the planet was pretty much destroyed doesn't limit future storyline at all. Think about it: the crew is free to travel back in time and, i dont know, say, stop richtofen from acheiving his master plan? Takeo mentioned something about hunting down the members of 935, so maybe they'll travel back in time to Paris before the planet was destroyed and hunt down a 935 member there?
  16. I intended for you guys to answer like this guy, using ALL #'s 1-5 but no worries this works too! :D
  17. Hi, The purpose of this thread is to show Treyarch exactly what we as a community find important in a map. So i'd like to take a poll: what is a successful zombie map to you? Is it: Difficulty? (how hard or easy a map is) Setting? (creepy feel or cool location) Innovation? (new features) Storyline? (easter eggs or contributions to storyline) Size? Answer 1 to 5, 1 being most important, 5 being least. Here's me Difficulty:3 Setting:2 Innovation:5 Storyline:1 Size:4
