  1. The rocket in Ascension, Launch and the campaign is a Soyuz 2. It's based in Baikonur, the Russian site for their side of the space race. Looking into it, it was first used as a inter-continental missile testing station, hence the campaign mission to take it out. This is the page for the R7 missiles tested there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R-7_Semyorka They look very similar to the Soyuz 2s so its possible this is what's on the Moon, so it's nit just rockets being fired at Earth as we may have thought. Now, on to the Cosmic Silverback. While there is no specific evidence saying that they used animals to test the Soyuz 2 rockets, it is still possible. There are a few options here as to how the cosmic silverback was created: 1. The soyuz 2 was used to take 115 to and from the moon, tested primarily with an ape before taking humans to the Moon. The 115 on board the rocket leaked out and turned the ape into the silverback. This is supported by the fact that he is wearing a CCCP cosmonaut suit: 2. The rocket crash landed, spreading 115 everywhere. This place could just be any jungle, or it could be Shangri-La. This would make sense, as there are huge deposits of 115 already there, so they could attract together like magnets. Also that type of jungle is the kind of place an ape might live. 3. The rocket deliberately deposited 115 over an area, to test whether it would turn things into zombies by crop dusting it, effectively. This is supported by the rocket in Dead Ops only having the head capsule, the rest of the rocket is missing, as it has detatched earlier during the flight to allow the "crop dusting". So, where is he now? Judging by Dead Ops, he is on an island, in the middle of nowhere. It's likely that is set in the past, as the rockets from the Moon were set in the past, when the land masses of the Earth hadn't formed the current shape (it's called Pangea). Though, it is possible that this is another paradox supported by the Shangri-La paradox pyramid machine.... But, it is possible that the missile from the future, which was teleported into the past onto the Moon was fired at Pangea, creating the Cosmic Silverback. Then, thousands of years later, his descendants found the teleport device in the pyramid, explains how there is a pyramid in the loading screen of Moon and the whole monkey mini rocket thing. They used it, taking them to the Moon. Giving us this:

  3. That's awesome!! I do think that there's got to be at least a cutscene or loading screen radio to explain what happens next! How about this: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. This is all awesome, but I don't really trust this site... Here's why: This is the actual image: http://history.nasa.gov/ap11fj/photos/38-o.htm Also here: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS11-38-5564 Now you can't just go and say they doctored the pyramid out.... Nice work anyhoo edit: Sorry had to remove your image, it was streaching the width of this page into the aether - Shoreyo
  5. If you look closely at the intel, some of them have numbers! I also tried translating them into letters (A=1 etc...) They are as follows- The defector: five-two-eight-eight ebhh Numbers: one-nine-nine-two aiib WMD: three-seven-seven-one cgga Payback: one-nine-four-four aidd Revelations: one-nine-nine-six aiif Redemption: four-five-two-seven debg Now I have no idea what these mean, so if anyone has an idea, that would be cool. -->The revelations one has Project 1-996 written under it, kind of explains that one....

  7. Gotta be Richtofen, I'm most like him and he's hilarious anyway! I gotta say, that my zombie playing friends back in the day were like the other three characters! It was so strange.. :)
  8. Dudes, they are Soyuz-2 rockets, as said by Woods in Executive Order. It's fairly clear these are indeed the same rockets from the campaign and the MP map Launch. Here's a pic of the real Soyuz-2's: Looking up "Soyuz-2 blueprints", I think I found the image Treyarch used in game!
  9. Got to be.... *thinks* A VRIL ROD!! Yeah!! Or maybe not... XD It would be nice if they do a zombies related prestige edition this time :D
  10. I have a 3DS and love it to pieces! It never hurts my eyes, just turn the 3D slider down a little bit! I would love them to make an iOS Zombies style game for 3DS available through the eStore, though sadly, Nintendo don't believe in violence so would probably never allow it :(
  11. Yes, I wrote something on this a while ago, either on Black Ops forums or CODZL. It is quite interesting though that they suggested the end being on the Moon way back in Kino times.
  12. There were two projects, the Lunex and the Horizono project which both aimed to land on the Moon and then later build a base on the moon. They were both US Air Force based, just before NASA. Though, Lunex was cancelled just before NASA was made and not too long before JFk's assassination. It wanted to put a 21 man underground base into the Moon. More recently, there's been another plan the Gingrich project, recently cancelled in 2010 by Obama due to financial cutbacks. However, Obama said something along the lines of wanting to go to Mars, asteroids and expand the ISS instead of going to the moon. Also, there is suspicion of a Nazi moon base on the dark side of the moon, the Black Sun Base i think it was. Obviously you are right that it would cost too much, but even so, it is peculiar that we haven't really tried that much. No we are treading into the moon landing conspiracy. This all ties in, just. If we did go to the Moon at an earlier stage, and it's possible as there were so many plans we simply haven't heard of, then we found something alien, it's only normal to not go back for a long time. I also have another idea, (which i just happen to be making into a text game!!) though it's completely crazy: US and CCCP make a pact to let Russia go to the moon first to get research or whatever. Also letting US get the public coverage faked to make US more popular but let the US people think they did go to the Moon. Meanwhile, Russians reach the Moon and find something completely unexpected: something alien. BAM! PLOT TWIST! And that's why we haven't been since.
  13. Nice! So who is John Trent? If nobody knows, I think ur right that will be in Black Ops 2!!
  14. Sorry man. Um yeah it could be the devil like Alpha keeps trying to suggest, using Aether as a way through into the zombie's heads? Still though, the temple and stuff has to have come from somewhere, and I just don't think that the devil or demon has enough physical influence yet to do that. Also, i think we're missing a point about the whole place being converted into a mine! That was probably Richtofen and the team from Griffin station mining the 115 behind Maxi's back as they didn't really tell him about anything it would seem according to the Moon radios.
  15. Thank you for the sarcasm. While what you say is true, the zombies Shangri-La could be anywhere and anytime, so we can still think of Mayans as being the basis for the designs. Another piece of evidence is the sand-pit wheels have Mayan numbers on them so there. I should have said it, but I forgot, because there's a nice little thread on the whole alien/ intelligent design of the temple etc over at CODZL forums. A few ideas from there include: Aliens gave them or left designs for the pyramid, or left it there after crashing etc. Richtofen gave them something, 31-79 JGB-215 perhaps? Which explains why his name is on the shrine. Anyway, the alien idea is like in the Indiana Jones film where the tribe builds over the alien tech, hiding it from view, but is why there are temples and things all over the place. It's also why there are bits of Mayan stuff on the Moon, like the temple (as seen in the loading screen) and the Dropa disc in the Biodome. Read this to find out more about the Dropa discs: http://callofdutyzombielabs.proforums.o ... .php?t=378 Nemesis out.
  16. Frankly, I don't mind what weps I get, that is an awesome idea to have varied weps between maps, like you travel in time between them!
  17. I have always loved this idea, but it would require them to make an entire zombies based game. It would have campaign where you go through the maps doing objectives like you said, but also have survival mode or regular zombie mode.
  18. That's a cool idea that the Vril-Ya wrote the wall writings. It could be true, though there's not real way of proving it. The Moon pyramid is definitely alien, as the inscriptions are the same as the Mayan calendar, and they (assuming it was Mayans at Shangri-La, there's a lot of evidence for it) copied the design from the black pyramid to build the long count calendar, or the end of the world calender. I have an idea that the calendar was kind of a countdown until the fated moment when we open the pyramid on Moon, leading to the end of the world. As for the song lyrics, I don't think there was an alien connection as far back as Verruckt and Shi No Numa, that's more about how the 115 is allowing the devil into her mind. Although i think you might be right about the lyrics in Shangri-La and Ascension. She does seem to know there's something else: "My friends have hollow eyes, They're made of shapes and curvy lines" This is rather ambiguous between zombies and aliens though. One more thing which I might start a topic about is the line "The lines they've been burned in my mind" This makes me instantly think of the Nazca lines. I don't know if this is talking about hypnotism or forcing her into believing something, like worshipping the devil perhaps, linking with the fact that the Vril-Ya are most definitely evil. Hell, they could be the ones who infiltrated the Illuminati and made Richtofen do the things he did. that's less likely though Nemesis out.
  19. I agree, this al fits in. And I love Dolphin diving too! w00t!!
