Ok so I took some time and though about some things, and I came up with a new ending for origins that's RELEVANT to the story: We know that samantha in richtofen's body is lost to argartha, we know the other 3 O4 characters are MIA, we know that in the richtofen easter egg maxis dies. Now lets' sum this up: In origins we see: Tank Nikolai Takeo Maxis's body, which arrives before maxis' consciousness Samantha's consciousness Richtofen Then in the cutscene we see: Fluffy Samantha's body and voice that does NOT sound like hers Richtofen Maxis' VOICE only. Now, take for a second and look at Mob of the Dead, I did a theory a bit back on THAT map, developed by the same "team" (alongside the zombies team of course let's not make this topic about THAT), and at the end of the day, I felt there was enough evidence to show that MOTD was infact hell, as there are many references to dante's "Infero" (Italian for "Hell") Now, ponder a second the idea that ORIGINS, is hell. "Well that's crazy mocking what proof is there?" Well we KNOW origin's timeline does NOT match up with the regular timeline. Infact, by some means, there aren't even soposed to be ZOMBIES in this time possibly… BUT, looking back at MOTD, there weren't so posed to be zombies there either. But mocking, the zombie's eyes aren't red: They are every color BUT red… Well I'll get to THAT part later. NOW, for the most compelling coincidence I've found so far: Maxis Like the regular maxis, his body is constantly kept in a different place of his consciousness. What's interesting is that We don't get to see maxis in his own body, we see his body enter, THEN his consciousness enter long after that with the quad rotor. Outside, maxis' body was dead and gone LONG before his consciousness was. Weird how that would happen in origins, just as it happened IRL… Moving on, origins does share similar likeliness with "Inferno" again. One of the layers of hell depicts a beast that flies and breaths fire, another depicts discussing mud everywhere. Other chapters reveal bits on giant creatures that stalk and crush the subjects of hell. This isn't as direct as MOTD's connections, but I think that's still enough connection for me. Now, next we're moving on to the cutscene. I've already shown how the "aether" is the bedroom, where richtofen controls sam, who in turn controls the "game" of zombies. Also, for anyone that thinks maxis saying "lock the windows" is weird, it isn't. During WW2 bombings, it was common for thieves to sneak in and steal your things while you hid in your shelter. Don't believe me? Go watch "Doctor who" Season 1: The Empty Child. What is weird is that maxis SOUNDS like he's on an intercom system, but, if this is WW2 (given by the bombing siren and gramophone and style of the room), why and HOW is he talking via intercom? Sure they may have had things like that during WW2, but they were much clunkier and NOT installed in average houses. I purpose that the maxis we hear is actually maxis's consciousness, in the quad rotor. So here's the story of maxis so far: He joined 935, he did all his shiz with WW2, betraying richtofen, bla bla bla. BURIED: Here we get the RICHTOFEN ending. This mean maxis is KILLED and sent to HELL for trying to destroy the earth and costing the lives of BILLIONS. His body has been in hell for a long time now, sitting and waiting. Only now does his consciousness come in. Eventually the O4 put this into the quad rotor and complete the easter egg. By sending maxis up into the light, we put him in the same position as weasel, who ascended INTO heaven/the aether. Once in the aether he "frees" samantha from richtofen's grip, bringing her into the basement.. Whatever that is. The light the O4 see is likely the light of them returning to their physical-world bodies. Now there is a big loop hole in this: Richtofen. He IS present in Origins. Now here's my take on him: We see samantha's voice in argartha, but not her body. Her body is in the aether. Her mind, which was swapped with richtofen's mind/body was then killed with the other 3 of the O4. The dead richtofen's body then regressed to his BASE Psyche: Meaning the richtofen that would be richtofen if he had never teleported that day. Resulting in the memories of pre-madness richtofen. It's likely due to THIS that THIS particular time was chosen. The 4 had been together for very long, but never with the ORIGINAL richtofen, they only met him, if ever, once in WW1: Origins. We know that hell is capable of manipulating memory. So there's an explanation to why everyone thinks this is 1918. The beings in the aether are controlling the "dolls" of argartha. This we know: Blue and Yellow eyes. However, this brings up my biggest question: What is the Purple eye zombie's controller? It's not the first time a 3rd "hidden" controller has been hinted either: The voices in Die rise, what they say doesn't seem like it comes from Maxis or Richtofen. In the cutscene it's revealed that richtofen sometimes sounds like that, but again, these quotes REALLY don't sound like him. There's something else IN the aether, and what it is… Isn't happy… Anyway, that's my new favorite theory! Any appropriate response is appreciated!
  3. You honestly think they'll make a game where a CHILD is seen killing anything? There are rules about that kind of thing… Child abuse is one thing but having both a boy and girl under the age of 15 killing zombies? That doesn't sit well. Not to mention, the idea that richtofen and sam in the origins cutscene could just be the two in the aether. We know fluffy, richtofen, and sam are in the aether, so here's my take: The story ends on the richtofen side of the buried easter egg. Origins is argartha, otherwise known as hell, for the original 4 characters. Richtofen is the richtofen who was put into the aether in the maxis easter egg at the end of an alternate universe. Samantha is in argartha, we know this. However she can also be in the aether being controlled by richtofen. In "Origins" samantha uses the other argartha-trapped heroes to send maxis to the aether. In the aether maxis is able to manipulate samantha, much like how richtofen has manipulated samantha into believing zombies is a game, that the living characters (seen under the bed post), are just characters for her to manipulate. It's a matter of grasping where each consciousness lies: There are two sams: One in the aether (bedroom) being controlled by richtofen, but occasionally taking control, all a part of richtofen's game to make her consciousness believe this is a game. Meanwhile the hell-bound samantha is being manipulated with maxis who tried to destroy the earth, but ended up being killed by richtofen and sent here, and the other argarthian bound heroes: Tank, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen. Richtofen is likely the embodiment of samantha, as we know the fully-aware samantha is in richtofen's body. Sure you can call my story a hoax and un-reasonable, but in reality there's a lot of lose holes: Why does richtofen have trouble possessing samule? What happens to the earth after maxis save samantha? What happened to the O4 and the N4? So many holes that I honestly don't think trayarch will leave for use to "decide amongst ourselves".

  6. I seriously doubt you did. I have never seen a glitch that keeps the orb from being accepted. Try the dials again. Like I said, if you're seeing all red, but it's not working, there's a good chance they aren't all red. I've seen a similar glitch with the ice-staff pieces in which to some players it is shown that certain pieces are gotten, but to others they don't appear.
  7. See, that's just it. The first "base" medals are specific to things like "drink who's who" or "build the tramplesteam" as a guide. After the base challenges are completed they NEVER have to be completed again (unless one prestiges). So yes it tells you how to play the game, but it only does that so the player can learn the basics of the map, once they know that they can focus on becoming objective-based or skill-based players. The later "medals" are more specific to in-game challenges. Why not? You don't want to be an overall master capable of maintaing challenges? Go ahead, shotguns for you! But if you want ray gun rank, just complete a challenge every few days.
  8. Which is why I like objective based: It starts off simple with things like: Reach the dragon in die rise. (any round) Then it progressively gets harder and harder: Build the tramplesteam in die rise. Acquire and use Who's who Get 10 seliquifier kills in one round Go a whole round after round 15 without firing your weapon once. Be the architect of their design (Easter egg for either maxis or richtofen) There would be a lot more in-between After this stage, players would receive the base rank: Skull. Then the tasks afterwards split into two groups: Pistols Knifes Pistols: These work differently then perviously. These work on a pair of XP systems: Aetheric Control and Aetheric Chaos: Chaos results from losing players, dying, going down, and not moving at least 30 feet every round or not shooting (This is so campers can still keep their strategies, just fire a bit every now and then, but glitters will be penalized for not moving or firing.) Control is the positive side: getting kills, reviving players, building things, and "different weapon" bonus which adds a small 10 points of XP for every time a weapon is changed and used, this is so players will learn to use all weapons effectively. When you have collected ENOUGH Control over Chaos your pistols upgrade to shotguns. Knives: These are objective based and set at 12:00 AM every day EST. The objectives include things like: Survive to round 14 with no perks. Survive to round 10 without leaving the starting room. Things like that. If one completes their objectives they'll eventually receive galvaknuckles instead of knives. However, after a few days, these objectives will lose their value and one will have to complete challenges again. This will ensure people will still play the map after reaching max rank. Once one has both galvaknuckles and Shotguns, they receive the max rank: Ray gun However if one loses their shotgun rank with bad gameplay, or loses the galvankuckles due to not playing, the ray gun will revert back to being a combo of either shotgun and knife or galva and pistol. This is map specific as well, so it will encourage players to return to maps they don't impulsively play to improve their max rank. As a bonus there is a prestige: If one can maintain ray gun rank for 168 hours (exactly one week) without it downgrading. They can prestige one time on that map. There is no benefit other then a new outfit for the character customizer that has to do with the map.
  9. FIne, then there are two types of points: Red and blue. Red points increase the amount of points you need to reach the next rank: Downs before round 10: 100, Downs after round 10: 50 (Bad points) Blue points attribute to the amount of points you have to reach the next rank: Revive a guy: 10 points. Kill a zombie: 10 points. (Good points)
  10. One of the things I REALLY want to do for next year's COD was get a team of specialist from this site to have a full-on discovery reaction recording for Xbox one. One of the things I hate about zombies is that NGT: One of the main recorders for zombies, ALWAYS leave out shit after their first game. TODAY I go back and I look at other people's reactions to the bus driver, the origins robot, and riding the plane. Here's what I want: Four reactions: One of us has NO idea what the map is and has NO spoilers what's so ever. Two of us has a somewhat good grasp, but no spoilers. One of us has researched and KNOWS what's in the map but does NOT tell anyone. Of course add some humor and other BS in. And the main thing is, we continue to play game after game to find the secrets of the map, ALL of them and get the whole game on camera! We continue to play until we find everything (if something else is found on the internet we'll record the whole game of us finding it). That's just something I'd REALLY like to be a part of!
  11. I've seen this before, it happens when easter egg steps have glitches. Have some other players look at it. In quite a few games the lights have SAID they're one color, but on another person's screen they are another color. You probably SEE the lights as red-red-red-red, but the game is REGISTERING them as Red-blue-yellow-red… Keeps spinning them around a few times and see if that effects it.

  13. What the community wants is more zombies, but this isn't zombies. It's almost zombies. There's none of the fun zhis that we love: Mystery box, perks, PAP. We need that shiz to be fully entertained. Otherwise it's just exo-survival. Which it is.

It'd actually be a LOT better if one could keep track of how much XP they gained from performing different tasks: Save one teammate from dying out each round: 100 Points Save multiple teammates from dying out each round: 200 (no more) Kill a zombie: 1 point Kill a train: 10 point bonus. Course this way people would farm xp in SO many stupid ways.

This is a question I'd like to ask about next year's ranking system: Which is better to you guys: Skill: Like the one we have now based on Kill/Death/Down/what round you're on that determines your rank. Objective: A bit more advanced and useful. This ranking system never goes down, but instead requires the player to perform certain tasks: Survive the first room without opening any doors, hit the mystery box 20 times in one game, complete the easter egg, ect. And for the second question: Should ranking systems be map-specific or apply to every map? Map specific: Each map a player has holds a different rank. One could be great at die rise, but awful at Origins. Every map: Like the one we have now where each map shares the same rank.
  16. Guess you never played moon after doing the easter egg, fantastic gameplay. Furthermore, the best solution I can give to you is to always have a second perk incase of astronauts. They do work on a system where the most valuable perk is taken last and jug is considered the MOST valuable perk (that may change in solo)
  17. Hey I've been scouring the internet daily for about 6 months now looking for info on zombies, it won't affect me any to do it for another 6 lol. This is the longest I've gone without zombies, and I'm feeling that itch that only 3arc can scratch. I'm holding onto the slightest hope AW has a legitimate zombies mode, but we'll see about that. It will be Exo-survival, with zombies instead of exo soldiers, just like the easter-egg demo.

  21. I feel like if performed correctly, SH games will make a profit, maybe not a killing but a profit (in comparison to previous titles) . Trayarch CAN make a FANTASTIC profit if done correctly, and IFW really gets the crap end of the stick… Pity…

  24. Hell: Die rise broke the record for highest map. MOTD introduced numerous things like an accumulative inventory, build able vehicles, and upgrades other then PAP. Buried introduced the ray gun M2, the first weapon that could be used to fly, the first enemy that would target your cash, the first perk that would deter zombie's awareness, and the first anything to allow one to return to a previous round. Origins introduced multi-wonder weapons, dig sites, soul chests, achievements, and upgrading melee weapons
