  1. This is the poster I was talking about. It's the one you gotta throw the Hell's Retriever at: Looking from a far distance, I can see why you mistook the dude in the poster for a CIA agent. How about that, good find dude, so ya no references to CotD or Five it seems, maybe because they're on the first game and its tied up in some sort of rights battle? These things happen ya know lol.
  2. If you're on the step where you want to place all the ultimate staffs in the robot head and the fire one in the main room, and you're on solo it won't spawn, or if you're on easy, it won't spawn. On two player it will. I think it's because one step requires one person to be near the cracked surface to call the airstrike in on while the other person needs to be in the head to push the button, so maybe it's locking you out to progress further? Hey can you do the easter egg with only 2 people? sorry for being off topic Yes, it's just gonna be a bit more challenging.
  3. Yes, as I've stated numerous times now It is a two player EE, I knew it would be simply because moon was (moon is solable as I've done it myself with a friend logging in and leaving his house) so this one should be no problem
  4. Ive only spotted the N3 as it were on the cutscene. Anyone spotted Misty yet? Plus the tallies on the bed leg could have been the round they got to. Eddie aint very good is he, lol That being said Origins is hard work and round 10 aint too bad. Ya I noticed misty isn't around and Dempsey (although we assume he's our PoV) funny though since those two were always said at one point to have a connection, but I'm sure that's me reaching honestly. I never thought about the tally marks representing rounds and you're the first person I have seen that has lol, very true, but we may never know :(
  5. I get that, I really do, but after all those years of theorycrafting and treyarch never once confirming anything as solid fact should have told People to cool it. In the end it was all your choice.
  6. Devoid really?, you don't know me, again, a biased and bigoted attitude. You've given me no more evidence than I've given you and you have yet to acknowledge anything I've said as any sort of possible truth and stuck to your "guns" and that it's the way you say it is. I however have implied your theory could pan out, think about that. Edit: Speaking of your attitude, I have further addressed it in my thread so that will be that, I'm done arguing this with you, good luck on your theory.
  7. The bed post leg where the N4 characters are, show tally marks of an ongoing game Eddie and Sam have been playing, this heavily implies that Richtofen has most definitely gotten his turn, 10 turns in fact.
  8. apologies that was not my intention. it was more with reference to the ppl that have had nothing to say but "this is BS" or "weve been screwed" and throwing there teddy out the pram because they didnt like what they say q without thinking about all the possible implications. And yes BRavo Treyarch Ya mega that's what I was referring to when I told him I thought he was being mature about this, not spewing bigoted ideas and being open to all sides; sadly though I have noticed that it's the "this could have been real" crowd being the majority thats being immature about it, and I can see why as they are hurt and its inevtiably gonna happen.
  9. @Mattzs Please do sir I just have seen too many comments from the crowd of "this could still be real" being so bigoted. Whereas there's been fewer from the "I think it was all just a game" crowd trying to shove their "absolutes" down the others throats. I personally think its due to the fact that some are very very hurt by this ending and are having a tough time accepting that this is all how it could have gone down destroying a sense of their own "realities" in turn, and thus the extra hate is spewing from this crowd as a result. All in all the sooner the aforementioned crowd accepts that the journey is what it's all about and maybe they can still "pretend" it's all really happening while playing the game, the sooner they will enjoy it all, if this truly is the real end. I mean this whole thing was fake anyways, you're gonna let some cutscene that is interpreted many ways sum up your whole enjoyment of the adventure? C'mon,... It's fantasy,...FANTASIZE.
  10. I think some people saying its not Richtofen might be wording it wrong, it's not that they believe its not Richtofen, it's that they believe that Eddie does not grow up to be Edward Richtofen and Eddie is simply playing with his doll whom he named after himself Richtofen, so with this information... Eddie is Richtofen and He's not Richtofen. They are one in the same interpretations.
  11. Ya it's definitely, Steve Blum, Tom Kane, Nolan North, and Fred Tatasciore.
  12. No thats a big stretch. I just cant see 3arch being that creative to tell a story only to end it open ended happening. Seems like a clear ending to me. This, it's an EXTRA GAME MODE with a small department in comparison working on it, regardless if the campaign came and helped here and there. They aren't going to invest all these things that people try and justify with real world events, and how it all plays a role in the grand finale, when TREYARCH HAS NEVER CONFIRMED ANY OF OUR THEORIES IN 5 YEARS LOL. Take this however you want it, but just don't disregard this ending as completely impossible is all I'm saying, it really can be this simple and some choose not to see it. That's one thing this community is known for though which is going over every inch before coming to a conclusion, so I can expect nothing less lol.
  13. Well said. It's all a made up story anyway, whether it's Treyarch's story or if it's Sam's story. The whole thing is a LOT more clever if it's Sam's though. Treyarch is pretty genius, that's what I have to say. They took us on a huge story that we completely dissected and over-thought, and it all turns out to be just a child's playtime game lol. They're trying to remind us of how imaginative we could be when we were younger, and that you are never too old to 'believe in' magic. Exactly lol, I mean my 2 year old will sit here and talk to me forever and it's mostly gibberish to me and the wife but with her body language and emotion she puts into every "word" she says, it's believable that she's explaining to me the truths to fucking string theory lol, there's so much that goes on in children's minds that you can't fathom what they're thinking. Sams story might have been fairly simple by nature with some outside sources like the celebrities and Five, but because we were "in her mind" her imagination took hold and became its own entity, giving us all that we know.
  14. Lol again ALL IRRELEVANT, just because someone takes the face value that its a game and over doesn't mean they don't care for the storyline? Where do you get that Biased statement from? I loved Losts ending, I loved Star ocean 3 ending, INCEPTION, I loved all kinds of endings that ended with the creators saying "it was never real or maybe it was" The problem I'm having here sounds like some people that so desperately need it to be true cant seperate fantasy from reality and use this as a way to validate their own reality if a FANTASY setting is proved to be "fake". It's about the journey??? It's not about if something's real or not. The whole games storyline was fake to begin with, the creators saying it was fake in this "reality" isn't going to make it different, at all. The idea and emotion you draw from it is what mattered, again it was fake to begin with... Besides with these types of endings its your choice to believe if it was real or not so there's nothing wrong with either view, so stop assuming people that choose a certain view is incorrect and judging their personal care for something without knowing who they are as a person in a bigoted manner. The last lines of the cutscene can be INTERPRETED IN ANY WAY, for all you know they were talking about a way to leave the country and get away from a civil war, your way isn't the right way. As I said any view is right in this instance, don't shove your views down people's throats as truths without doubt. Edit: I'd like to note that I'm not referencing you in particular, just those that feel so strongly about this and disregard everything else.
  15. That might be so, but since WAW, treyarch has failed to confirm any major theories here true, so they dug themselves DEEP, and doing this ending, can technically appease the theory crafters as it would allow them to postulate what happened in Sam and Eddies game or of it was all real or not, and if they never answer what the final ending meant then that just confirms that, I don't know, heck none of us do, but you can't say without a doubt that it just can't happen like that, I'm not saying any of you guys theories are impossible, just improbable, maybe extend that courtesy to those of us that believe it should be taken at face value. Edit: Also I can't agree on the completely pointless point; the journey is the reward, and this is all fake to begin with? So what's if matter if the games fake storyline is fake? It's just words, again...Journey.
  16. It doesn't matter though, who says that this story is told during WW2? Noone, air raids can happen just as easily in WWIII (what bo2 is basically about) and the tech point you made is extremely irrelevant, as you can't judge this cutscenes time periods date on the decor of the room and some sirens, the knowledge these kids have of events like CotD (2013) is what you need to look at, this points to a date closer to 2025 (the bo2 storyline). We can agree to disagree but one thing is fact, the theory all this could still be real is too convoluted and just doesn't mesh well, the "cop out" as most put it, is a clean slate and most believable, which is why most people are going with this theory. I wish treyarch would clear this up, because this has done no good whatsoever.
  17. Your points of air raid sirens (these can exist in any time period such as WWIII or zombie apocalypse) and lack of certain tech is irrelevant, as there's plenty of home decor that reflects all kinds of different lifestyles today, depending on parenting styles. I completely encourage your theory crafting, you seem pretty good at it lol, and am more than happy to bow down providing some real proof XD just wanted to state my thoughts on it lol
  18. Very well said and thought out but I just can't get behind a simple side game mode having so much tangled into it, I mean even if this was a full game on its own I don't think it would be this complicated lol. Also there's nothing that shows its the 40s 100% so might wanna include "it's most likely" with your statement or prove some extremely solid facts. Also speaking with the inconsistencies statement, there's a reason most flock to the simple explanation of "it's just a game, with some outside influence here and there" it's because as your thread proves it can be somewhat explained pretty well, but there's still too many inconsistencies and Improbabilities. Again, extremely well put and thought out but you gotta look at it from Treyarchs perspective to appeal to a large market, because who knows they might want to make their own IP with this one day, and if this shit takes longer to figure out than lost, there's gonna be problems lol, I mean how often has Treyarch came and confirmed any of our theories? What's that? Pretty much never? There's a reason for that, they put in seemingly random EE that people try and find a way it connects in some big grand scheme, but all in all they don't have a real agenda, hence their choice of ending. To put together a story this extravengent that some of you have come up with, it's just a lot of extra work for some possible extra sales on map packs.
  19. no that doesn't make any sense. here's what I get from this. Origins is a completely made up story by Samantha. it has nothing physically to do with the nacht thru buried story... but something had to spark her imagination. so i think she has overheard her father talking about some of these things or maybe has heard stories about her "heroes" what we see in the ending cut scene is an actual scene prior to where we begin at Nacht, Verruckt, SNN, and der reise. so samantha made up origins, but she made it up based on things that were already beginning around her This is what I think it means whe she says 'my dad has a plan' That starts the whole zombies saga from there! Has anyone figured out what date the cutscene is set? That might be a big clue in how this is involved in things perhaps. I haven't said anything in here yet, so I just wanna say that OMG that was awesome!! That confirms/ clears up a load of ideas and theories :') So many details in Sam's room from all the games, though one thing I couldn't work out is what are the tally marks under their names on the bed leg? Number of maps they've been in control?? The problem myself and a lot of others have with this particular scenario is, if after they shut the door and head down to the basement "the whole saga starts" is that how did they have paraphanelia from maps that haven't taken place yet? There's just too many to count, and it wouldn't make sense that they had foresight into all of the events that were about to transpire and just walk right in to it. Also this contradicts that maxis, Samantha, and fluffy were locked in the room by Richtofen (who's apparently a boy in your scenario) and left to "die" in Der Reise. Your theory raises WAY TOO MANY INCONSISTENCIES with time travel, mind wiping and just way too messy, like more than lost, and that's bad. The going theory now is that to accept it as it is with the possiblilty of starting a new "Real" story, possibly based off these events or involving some characters somehow, but who knows lol.
  20. While you have proved over the day to make a good argument for your case about this is still a real event taking place and not all make believe but some sort of alternate deal has gotten increasingly more convincing, I'm still not convinced... Here's why: you claim there's not enough paraphernalia in the room that involves WAW references correct? If so then I would argue that because there are references of BO1 maps in the room then how did these get here exactly? These maps revolving stories couldn't exist without the WAW precursors, so in essence, them existing in this room also means WAW is included? Maybe treyarch just didn't want to include any models for these things possibly. So maybe you would argue that everything past WAW maps were just a kids game and can't be considered as real events such as your WAW occurrences? I could see this, basically Sam and Eddie were in the WW2 era discussing how the story would continue and all of the BO maps would be considered "games" , ignoring all of the future information such as celebrities that were born in the 70s and that the dolls were made by Dr Maxis and given to Sam for her to reenact past events and make new events with Eddie (BO1 maps). I don't know though, I am actually questioning this entire post right now lol please forgive and delusions as I and currently on 8mgs of Hydromorphone. One thing however that is pretty clear for me is that there is LESS inconsistencies with the "It was all just a game, whether to cope with their life or zombie apocalypse, or just simply wildly imaginative children" than the other theories I've come across, but that's just me lol.
  21. As said earlier I don't have proof sadly but have seen it done, and yes while seemingly it should be possible on solo, there was also the moon Easter egg that technically could be done solo (I did it myself) no I wasn't in the game by myself but the other player was away the whole game at work. So this could be the same thing; that it just won't progress without a second. The 4 staves don't have to be placed at the same time, I know this much as the guys I was watching placed their staves about 5-10 min apart.
  22. A few posts up you'll see I've witnessed two player, but ya the only time sensitive thing is the button press and airstrike grenade. Even in solo you can wield all staves so your scenario would not be a problem with placing them one by one. I've heard people say in chats and comments that in solo that step is different. You can press the button then throw it or something, but I've never seen video proof of that. Hmm who knows? But I think we can both agree that it being able to be done with 2 players is a relief as there's less chance of not finding all the people you need, disconnects, personal issues, you name it. It's no secret these are the reasons that most people don't like 4 player EE lol
  23. A few posts up you'll see I've witnessed two player, but ya the only time sensitive thing is the button press and airstrike grenade. Even in solo you can wield all staves so your scenario would not be a problem with placing them one by one.
  24. There's been a couple of live streams I caught the tail end of that pretty much ran into problems with the placing of the upgraded staffs in the robots heads, as if its blocking them.
