Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I was actually thinking about starting at one corner, and building it in. Dempsey is not even the half of it. :)

Interesting idea. A multiplayer map, or most importantly, a zombies map where you could get night vision goggles (similar to the hacker) would be neat. And scary! :D

Yep. http://www.imodernwarfare3.com/new-mode ... 1-thru-20/

I'll flat out say, if it's for MW3, f*ck that. We'll see just what is included for Treyarch's next installment. But, I'm still not going to unless I have to, and you KNOW they will try to tie that in as best as possible.
-
Alright, so let me put it this way: What fun is it then when you have to renew your subscription just to keep the maps, AND get them all so early that you're bored by the time everyone else gets them? And that's besides the point. I pay 50 bucks to have XBL for a year. And that includes ALL games with the same available content. And what, because Cod 'so great', I should just pay another 50 bucks per year for ONE game for SOME additional toys to play with? Gee, best 50 bucks I ever spent...
-
Figured if it got enough interest, I'll take it somewhere. Not sure yet though.
-
You know what I mean. But yeah, I think it would work out very well.
-
You know what I think? I think they should actually just stop making CoD for a little while or at least extend the releases to bi-yearly. I never have time to get the most out the CoD's I already have because everyone moves over to the next one and I am forced over as well if I wanna play with friends I usually play with. Is this going to happen? Well as long as the sales increase each year, no. But I think it would be a lot better if they just spread out the map packs and the release dates because you can make one CoD last forever if they do it right. I STILL play Blops online. And i still haven't gotten where I wish to be prestige-wise.

Oh, the ranking system wouldn't tamper with anything as we know it. It will ONLY have challenges added, much like multiplayer and titles and emblems. But zombies gameplay itself would be all the same, just with awards and xp added on to it. :)

Chapter 1: *static* "Gentlemen, allow me to take this opportunity to welcome you group nine three five. This is a prestigious moment in the history of our race... (panting) "OH GOD... OH GOD OH GOD!" "You represent the future of technological advancement. You are the pioneers of human discovery. In your hands lies the destiny of mankind." *running and heavy breathing* "In our hands is a great power and with that power comes a price. You have volunteered to be part of this great experiment and with that decision comes the responsibility of absolute secrecy." "STAY THE F*CK AWAY FROM ME!? HELP!!" "No one is to know what you do, where you work, what our research has discovered, or what our purpose will be. You will have no further contact with your governments or with your families. Your decision to fully dedicate your lives to Group 935 is absolute." *trips and falls in panic* "In your lockers you will find your field ops manual which will direct you should our manifest get compromised. We cannot afford to let this power fall into the wrong hands and therefore the field ops manual should be considered your bible. Make your preparations now. A new dawn is beginning for mankind." "NOOOOOOO!" *sudden grows* .... Marine Raiders Outpost, 1941 "Ah f*ck, you win again! Damn your shitty aces!" "Heh, better hope your luck is better in battle, corporal!" The squadron of marines camped out in the outskirs swamps in Japan. It has been a long hard two weeks, strong men who have been though hell and back, but it wasn't enough. It was just beginning. Captain James Rhoads step out his tent with an old notebook he always carried around with him before heading out for battle. Holding it tightly under his arm, he approached the table of marines playing card games. "Clean up your shit and pack up your gear gentlemen, we're headed out." He spoke sternly. Without hesitation, the acknowledged their order; "YES SIR!" echoed in unison. Rhoads walked up to a scruffy looking marine with a flat buzz cut, stone jaw and lots of nerve, smoking his last cigarette before the trip. "Well, what the f*ck are we gonna do with those boys, Sergeant?" He sighed; The marine turned, looking directly at Rhoads as he pinched and tossed his bud on the swampy ground with a smirk. "Heh, their just boys bub. They got a lot of learning to do before they really tear some shit up." He grumbled. "Heh, you've trained them well Sergeant, you've trained them well." "Oh please, just call me Tank... And cut the flattery crap, Captain." Rhoads made with one pat on the war veterans shoulder, and the two walked along with the rest of the squadron. The squad was abruptly stopped by some soldiers up front; "HEY SIR, LOOK AT THIS!" He shouted as the Captain pressed through the men. The men all circled around a small creator with a dark object lodged into to the center; it laminated with a fiery light. "What is it, Cap'n?" "Hell if i know Corporal. But we're gonna get it out." "Move it, I got this!" Dempsey said, pushing though the circle. Without hesitation, the robust soldier dug with his bare hands around the glowing graphite; prying it out as fast as he could. He got a hold of the illuminating geode; He's body and face immediately went numb as a zap of energy surged though the hardened war heroes veins. Vague flashes, light up his eyes as it made it's way to the brain; "Hold him down! Don't let him break free, I'm running out of straps!" UGH!!! "He... he's stable, Doctor" "YOU BASTARDS, WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS..." "Hold shtill! Zis vill only hurt a bit!" ... The soldier fell back, fast. "Dempsey, are you alright?! Come on, snap out of it soldier!" The captain yelled, shaking the paralyzed marine. "I...I'm fffine, just need... to sit here... for a second... ugh!" Tank muttered, slowly sitting up from murky ground. "Wh..what the fff ugh... What was that?" He stammered, holding his head in throbbing pain. "It feel so real... I like I was.... actually there?" "Just take it easy, we'll figure out what that thing is. But we gotta keep moving, Tank." The Captain insisted. The squadron pressed on, taking a small sample with them. The rock continued to glow as a wave of energy soaked the unstable murky waters. Suddenly, A decaying hand, emerged inches from the rock.... To Be Continued

I honestly don't see what's so wrong with the ranking system either. I think it will actually be a lot of fun and amplify the addiction ten-fold actually. However, I'd suggest it would be only for playing via Xbox Live.
-
I know, you'd think they'd have some clever after title like "Makarov's shiny magnum" or something. XD
-
Yeah, I happened. Welcome back Pope, thanks for showing me the SNN stuff. ;)

Yes, a collar would definitely be interesting. Perhaps there should be a map where there are 8 characters, and much like Moon where you can switch between Area 51 and the Moon, make it so there's two maps in one, and you can swap between crews at a certain point, or have 8 players in all via online?
-
Huh. No response? What if I said that they could make this a special map where when playing on Live, it's 8 players. 4 for each crue?
-
Interesting. Maybe Richtofen had something to do with the hanged man? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfXGwCc-P2M

Night of the Undead (ZotD's Zombie story)
Undead replied to ZombieOfTheDead's topic in Zombie Stories
Just the contrast between white text and blue, I have to squint to read it here and there. -
Interesting. Perhaps it's going to be exactly what everyone has nicknamed it: Black Ops 2. If this is true, makes me curious where exactly things will go as far as the operations they cover and even the time era, will it be the same?
-
Just something to mix up the routine is all. I'm still down for the whole ranking/realism thing though.

Night of the Undead (ZotD's Zombie story)

One thing: OW, my eyes. Brighter text plz. -
Personally, I've been curious as to what they could do setting it up using the L4D system of progressing. Obviously, with further objectives than just getting to safe houses, of course.
-
This would probably be more appropriate as a special spin-off arcade game, something separate from zombies rather than apart of it.
-
This would also tie in greatly with the whole ranking idea some of us have passed along. I love it. :)
-
Meh, if they change the formula they already have now with round-based maps that are never ending, people might not be as interested. There's really no way around that either.

Okay so all this seriously just came to me as I typed, but it was great idea I think, and makes sense with what we know now and felt like it needed its own thread Having IW and MW take over zombies, isn't going to happen. And as stated in the past with threads of ideas saying "What if zombies came to MW?" no, that could completely ruin it because Treyarch has always done it best and it's their trademark anyways. That being said, with COTD being in the mix, that "technically" counts as "Modern zombie" but, not exactly. So the idea has crossed my mind that it probably wouldn't hurt to have another map as such in the next installment as a "Thanks, great series IW!" where the crew again, is sent somewhere in 2013, looking for clues blah blah blah, seeing what they could do to stop Richtofen and be sent to the Gulag. However, say that by mistake when teleporting, an accident occurs, sending waves of 115 surging in some France city of sorts by triggering an ancient mystery that lies beneath? (Paris, is possible, also Paris takes place in MW3) So, remember those ideas floating about and the EE (literally) with signs pointing to France? They could have a clever way to mixing in the crew searching for the lost catacombs beneath Paris, a misfired accident triggers an incidence, thus releasing the 115 and reanimating the dead. BUT (lol butt joke) There's more. At first I hated the idea of having different crews for a zombie map, but it kinda grew on me and I don't mind it so much from time to time. So, what if in this Modern era zombies map, the survivors were our other beloved Price, Soap, Nikolai (modern, Nikolai) and Yuri? I imagine another epic cutscene at the beginning where you've got a convoy head to the Gulag and some chatter going on while Price is lighting up a cigarette and Soap comes over with a concern about the gang they just caught (The Four Guardians BUT (lol two butts) Here's the kicker, throughout the gameplay, much like you could alternate between Area 51 and Moon in the latest map, what if you could alternate crews? Shit goes down in the Gulag, and now the Four Guardians are in another same old fight for their lives by zombie inmates (DOA anyone? ) and struggle to push though to the catacombs while Price and Co. All fight on the surface against the terrorizing hordes of fresh undead.
