  4. I don't think we'll be seeing any Origins gameplay, but it'll be worth a looksee nonetheless.
  5. I'm gonna be a technical term guy for a second here and say something. The first intro-cinematic (and the second) were uploaded on YouTube. This one, however, appears in game. I'm going to have to say that anything in game dictates canon. Thus, let's get the former one out of the way.
  6. The standard colour of the eyes are Yellow, which has been commonly referred to as the "default" colour. Many people say Sam is in control, while many others say that no one is in control. I am part of the latter. The purple eyed zombies are anyone's guess. Perhaps some sort of ancient demon is controlling them? The true original controller. In any case, we won't know for sure until Origins is released this Tuesday.
  7. I recommend giving MurderMachineX's "A Zombie Trilogy" a read. Although it isn't confirmed to be 100%, it's still the best story compendium on the internet for CoD Zombies. viewtopic.php?t=18279 Also, I'm going to move this thread to Questions/Suggestions in ten minutes.
  8. The angle of the image on the screen is weird. I don't think that's gameplay. Also, side note, anyone else noticed in the top left corner that it says "EclipseDLC4?" Reminds me of that "leak" a few months before BOII's announcement that called it Call of Duty: Eclipse. ;)
  9. Like I said, the three of them together could be for the trailer's purpose only. Then, we'll have one of them in our map, with others being seen in the distance.
  10. They said "larger scale." That doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be the biggest map ever.
  11. Looks to me like some sort of graphical glitch. Can you reload faster with it? If not, then I don't know what it is. Maybe FMJ. :lol:

  13. It's very subtle. I doubt they were talking. Perhaps this is just their breathing animation or something.
  14. My best guess is that that image is from the new trailer we'll be getting, and that the map will feature mainly one giant robot, with others being able to be seen in the distance.
  15. A lot of twist endings aren't referenced beforehand. I think the idea of going to Agartha to find a different Samantha would be neat, a nice ending actually. But, that wouldn't be the case, seeing as how Maxis acknowledges Samantha is/was in Richtofen's body, which we know is the little girl Samantha. Also, that was a pretty rude thing to say about the Maxis Sr./Jr. idea. Like I said, it was an idea that I didn't really believe in myself.
  16. Dempsey - Mostly the same. He might be a bit more tactical and intelligent, but will overall be the same ass-kicker we know and love. Nikolai - Drastically different. This is before he was tested on, so his drinking problems are most likely non-existent. He'll probably be more smart and tactical, but retain his humour. Takeo - Probably the same. Might not have an obsession with honour, but will most likely still care deeply for it. Richtofen - This one is tricky. He'll probably be insane, but not as much as he is now. He might have more technical remarks in this map, as opposed to his common violent quotes.

  18. I'm going to have to agree with ZOTD and MMX here. That theory just doesn't sit right for me, and for those above reasons.
  19. I'm guessing "Samantha" (as I don't believe this voice to be the Sam we know) is just letting us know that Origins is where it began, as opposed to Shi No Numa or Nacht. SNN was the first map that featured our O4, so it was natural to assume that this was the origins of those four characters. Likewise, Nacht was the first map altogether. This voice is just alluding to how the story actually began.
  20. I know, and I agree. I'm just saying that that's my only explanation for it. Maybe the Element 115 made Maxis younger somehow, like a fountain of youth. :lol:
  21. Well, by that, they meant they would never have a cutscene in the middle of the gameplay. Before (and after, in Solo CotD's case) is completely fine because it doesn't interrupt the gameplay.
  22. Eh, I doubt Treyarch would have actually answered any story-related questions anyway. They love to be cryptic.
  23. It's no more different than people switching because they don't like the character. Plus, it could be done as a sort of power up instead, meaning since it goes away fairly quickly most wouldn't switch characters just for a short power up. I like the idea of a power-up changing the melee weapon. That would make it more fair for everyone, I feel. Good thinking. ;)
