Too many ideas are better than no ideas at all. It sounds like someone is really getting antsy about money. They are needing more resources and financial budgeting, so Activision is forcing Treyarch employees to be cut from the team so they could "better" the new DLC packages. Sounds more like big ol' Activision wants to keep their filthy money coming in, so they're putting the blame on Treyarch. They ought to look in the mirror one day.

This is ridiculous.

I don't think it's fair to automatically assume the powers-that-be at Treyarch are being assholes by firing people.

Maybe they're trimming the fiscal fat?

Maybe there were too many cooks in the **** please report this topic, post ****?

Maybe they're getting rid of some slackers on the team whose positions are now obsolete and dragging development down?

Maybe this is how they afford to license some good music for the DLC maps?

It could be a good thing!

I think treyarch should just ditch activision... Or find somone else and focus on a zombies game.

Problem is, they're contracted, and Activision owns all rights to Call of Duty. A continuation of Zombies will only be under a Call of Duty title, so there is no way in hell Treyarch could do a solo Zombies game without Activision's approval. The greedy, almost monopolic wrongdoings of Activision will continue as long as they still bring in the money. The fraudulent false advertising about Nuketown could easily be grounds for a lawsuit and they will continue to care about money before their fans.

The root of the problem is greed.
