First, on the loading screen, we all know that a prior page was for Ascension. What is important is that it appears to me that there is a page in between that map and Shangri La that is half torn as well. Could this mean another map between Shangri La and Ascension? I've circled what I'm talking about:

Next, in this video, there is a water tube in the cave by the MPL that you can interact with. I haven't noticed any changes around the map when I turn it, but it can't be there for nothing. Thoughts?
