It definitely wont have been Xboxs decision, when they were asked about it, they said go ask Activision. But an update said Microsoft were in positive talks with all publishers, so im hoping they're still negotiating.

Or in my case, pre-order from Amazon UK, get the code in an email and i could just cancel it - no fees are charged. And I will be cancelling it i think for the digital deluxe edition

What is everyones thoughts on this? I'd so love to play BO1/2 on current gen, i think it could be a good marketing strategy to promote BO3 tbh. But typical ATVI may not allow it.

I think i'll go for a digital deluxe edition on Xbox One, i can buy that a few days before release where then i can afford it

I feel the WWs that BO2 bought were rather poor compared to what BO1 bought. And the idea of them being buildables was a joke. The Jet Gun is just ugh $hit, the Sliquifier is meh to me, id prefer it to chain much faster to other zombies, the blundergat i like even though i dont view it as a high up WW. The Paralyzer i like for its flying ability, and it is essentially how the jet gun should've been, i'd like it to have killed zombies a bit faster though. The staffs are considered OP by many but i consider them to be rather UP considering what you have to do to get them and upgrade them, its silly that you have to charge them for them to really do anything past round 25, i would've thought the wind stuff would act like a thundergun, but far from it. The only decent WW that BO2 bought was the RGM2 imo and its sad to me that it may not appear in BO3 when it deserves too.

Seeing as this map is only a bonus map which you have to pay extra for, i wouldnt get too excited for it, its there to feature the O4 characters so people cant complain there not in the game

I havent seen the HE at all in the UK and so i will be waiting till December to get it separately, if not January because of the dumb DLC deal.

I was very disappointed of this news as it was one of the reasons i bought an Xbox One - but the news of backwards compatibility does excite me, if they can put MW3, BO1/2 on the One, i will stick with the One and kiss goodbye to my 360 and sell it

What if Sony now have the promotional rights to the game and you will see their logo everywhere, but for DLC Xbox Live still gets it first.

Bought an Xbox One a week and half a go, with BO3 in mind, but now theres rumors Sony have got the DLC deal which will really annoy me if thats the case

It will be on current/last gen too. Which i'm somewhat happy about, as i cant afford an Xbone right now and still use my 360. But i understand that prevents the next gen/current gen version reaching full potential. But Activision being the money milkers will still want it on last gen aswell - though by other studios.

Well I was hoping for a cold war based game like BO1 (still the best COD imo). Im no fan of BO2 at all, i like the campaign and select zombie maps, the rest is garbage. As for AW, exo zombies is garbage imo and i wont be buying any more DLC for it, i do enjoy the MP, and have no interest to do the campaign. I'm slightly worried with BO3 being set in the future it could be another BO2 scenario but hopefully not. I just hope that Zombies is similar to that of BO1 with the decent BO2 elements kept.

well regardless of the era the next COD is set in, Zombies isn't bound to the era of campaign or multiplayer. So the maps they produce can take place in any time period they like.

Apparently BO3 has already been leaked though, i can understand why some people would love to see next gen WaW action, but they can only innovate so much by going back on themselves, where as in the future there are more possibilities. A nice idea i've seen is a multi-era COD which would be pretty sweet, with playable campaign missions set in WW2, Cold War, Present Day and the Future, that would also work for Zombie maps too. However MP would be more complex to get that to work, you'd need classes for specific era maps, no laser based guns in WW2, but im sure it could be done. With DLC they could also do 1 mp map for each era.

Yeah i thought the BO3 one was fake - I didn't do it. And the combo pack is listed on Amazon, but right now the details are slim. Why only release it on current gen? Why not give them all the DLC?

Well chaps, BO3 and a BO combo pack may have been leaked on amazon. The combo pack currently contains BO1 and First Strike and BO2 by the sounds of it but while its there for PS3 and 360, its not for next gen consoles, it also mentions a release of may 1st - could be when we first get info. Let me know what you guys think.

i dont play any of green run, so dont know about its appearence on there, i have had it multiple times on nuketown fairly early on. MOTD i get it all the time presumably cause there are less box weapons, but most games i dont have trouble getting it, or at least will end up with it at somepoint. But Die Rise and Origins, practically non-existant. I hope if it returns in BO3, its more common.

I may have to re-affirm my statement on this, as after playing 31 rounds of Die Rise last night with two other guys, and we all had buried - none of us got the Mark 2, and my bank was maxed out so i put well over 50k in the box trying to get the damn thing and it never showed up, I saw it in rotation and i was offered every gun in the box at least 5-10 times, but never once the Mark 2, so dont think buying the DLC, means you or someone will get it every game - as that won't happen, the only map your guaranteed to get it on is Buried/Borough because it seems to have a good chance of being received and everyone can get it

No, you don't need to be a season pass holder, though if you were a season pass holder you had early access to it before the DLC officially released
