  1. She's narrating. Doesn't mean she was there. She sounds a lot older.
  2. This. Completely. Took the words right from my mouth. and the worst part about it, is that there is an entire group of players who experienced zombies for the very first time on tranzit and thus any map that does not have a fridge and bank to them are going to "suck" i just can't wait for origins not to have a bank or fridge and all the noobies to bitch and bitch and bitch and its going to be a awesome map and they are going to miss it because "wahhh i cant get any moneys out of the banks" Mob of the dead didnt have a bank though.
  3. Or like Mob Of The Dead, where we collect te headphones to listen to Ferguson tell us the story.
  4. That's generally what they do: each map they give us some Easter Eggs and unresolved plot elements that are left to us to resolve and after seeing common theories on multiple sites (including this one!) they often develop it into the official plot. The most famous example was after Shi No Numa when someone reported hearing a zombie say "SAM!" on the map. The team apparently saw this post and said to each other "let's make a Sam!". On Der Riese we got to hear the voice of Samantha Maxis, the daughter of Ludvig Maxis. Many started to believe she was the voice heard when obtaining a Power-Up and the Teddy Bear. Next map when a Power-Up is obtained, Richtofen says that Samantha is behind it. Things escalated from there. Oh yeah, Samantha was the community's creation, huh? Yea. It was actually. Go watch te call of duty xp interviews with the zombie guys and they tell us exactly what the other poster said.
  5. I'll be a little disappointed if they're the same exact people. But I trust Treyarch because its their story, not ours. Even though without this community, we wouldn't have gotten the story.
  6. I agree. No problem. I used to like Takeo the best until Shangri-La when we found he killed his family. He might've had a good reason. They could've been traitor Nazis for all we know... but then again they could've just made the rice wrong... who knows... Tank on the other hand, he killed innocent/relatively-innocent people, but it was for a good cause, right? So out of all the horrors, he's done the least. But my favorite will always go to Samantha. The only people she killed were murderers (Richtofen's gang). She was just a sweet, innocent child that got mixed up in all this. Even when she's corrupted, she's less wicked than them. It's why I'm so glad Samantha's back. I just wish the voice-acting was better. But I'll hold off my judgement on that until the map comes. I believe Takeo said that they're dishonor disgraced him as a warrior, which is why he killed them. Nikolai killed at least six of his nine wives and Tank murdered somewhat innocent/unarmed others. And we really don't need to go into Richtofen... I have never really thought about the irony of these characters: they are monsters fighting monsters. As for Samantha, I totally agree as well. All the outbreaks take place at locations furthering the research of Group 935 (the Pentagon, Ascension Cosmodrome etc). She was only fulfilling her father's dying wish- to ensure their work is never completed. I like how I started this I've always wanted to make a thread about this but I didn't think I had enough proof or I would be disregarded. But it's nice to discuss, it's a really interesting topic.
  7. Takeo did indeed murder his family for their "dishonor", so you have a point. No one ever said this band of misfits was ever heroic- in fact, they were unknowingly aiding the antagonist the whole time! I'm not saying I don't like them, I love these characters. But they're murderers, except Tank really. It sorta creates an uneasy feel for them.
  8. Shouldn't we despise Nikolai? He's murdered most of his wives on cold blood, and I believe somewhere I read, Takeo murdered his family. Tank seems to be the only real hero, and not a cold blooded murderer.
  9. That's a possibility but it doesn't explain everyone else. I mean, Richtofen Jr.? Tank Jr.? People are beginning to just throw theories out of their asses now lol. Maxis jr? Lol come on.
  10. Even without the 1996 sign, there's other things that point out it takes place later than that.
  11. In all the radios before Richtofen touches the MPD, his voice isn't as high pitched and he's calm. Literally, after he touches the MPD, you can slowly hear the transformation into the Richtofen we know now. After hearing Richtofen so much in this game, I'll welcome a different Richtofen.
  12. I honestly just think it's a boss zombie and the bodies that have been there for centuries became zombies by 115.
  13. Am I the only one who noticed something Richtofen is maybe hinting at? "Ah, the Wisp is such a tricky little sausage. I think he may have chosen to return to his point of ORIGIN That's just a fancy way for me to say: 'START AGAIN'" Origins may be the result of our meddling with the towers. The O4 are STARTING AGAIN. So the Wisp is Dempsey, Nikolai or Takeo? Haha imagine that!
  14. Now in the letter, he is having nightmares and I'm not sure if it states what or why but he keeps having the same one, over and over again and with each time, it becomes more vivid. Today they released a new photo of Takeo and the quote is used. Could it be a bit of significance? I'm not trying to dive in too deep, I don't want to seem so gullible. But it sorta caught my attention, I feel like Takeo is going to be a very important aspect on this map. Especially since he's Treyarchs twitter photo, he has the most letters released, photos, and we know he wants revenge. I feel like the nightmares are either déjà vu, or he can see something in the future, like a premonition.
  15. Treyarch is having a good laugh at this.
  16. You should help me get Awaken The Gazebo achievement lol
  17. I rarely use the weapon locker, even though I have a pack a punched An-94 in it. I never feel the need for it, it's probably the Black Ops one player in me. I'm so used to getting the gun I want during a game and pack a punching, now it's not a challenge. The bank is useful when I'm doing an EE but other than that, I don't use it. Buried is the easiest map to set up at round 1 at, and that's not always a good thing for us hardcore zombie players. We love the challenge, that's the point of it all. Plus it was fun, I mean, do you want to really have a pack a punch gun, all four perks, at round 1? You know how boring it gets?
  18. I keep thinking of Benn as I watched that. Closed it after a minute.
