Not quite sure that's how it works. If I remember a certain game I had a long time ago.... It was Origins with four players. 1 guy left on 20. Next guy left in mid 20s. And me and this other guy go down on 39. Yet, after the game, the leaderboard said my highest four player round on Origins was 16. I've run into that situations like you described as well. They are however extremely rare and most likely a host migration error (or benefit in your case) or something along those lines. From my own personal experience the consistent outcome is as I described above. However it is possible, you just need to have a lucky rabbits foot planted firmly up your ..lol

Your rounds will only record up until the first teammate left. All other stats will still record though.

Yeah although it is not based on k/d alone, that will give you the easiest view of your progress. So keep your other stats (including rounds) in the green. Assuming you're after max rank; I have had friends who did not receive it until nearly 230 k/d. Like I said this is a general range, if you're still not getting it don't get frustrated, they will come eventually. Just keep on surviving!
