  1. I have a quick question about the events of Origin/Giant/Der Eisendrach universe. In the Giant, we heard Richtofen teleport Maxis and Samantha, presumably to Moon, as this happened in our first Universe in BO1 ([email protected]) so here is my question....Did we just kill Samantha??? Or is she still in the Pyramid when we get the keepers to move it to Der Eisendrach? How is this a good thing? If she is still inside then she wants the players dead, if she still wants the players dead, then I doubt she is on the side of the keepers, being they seem to want Richtofen to fill the key. But if she isn't on the side of the keepers, why was she "chosen"? I doubt she is dead, and she keeps leaving hints and clues in this new map to help us, but originally she wanted us dead...maybe she actually will help the Origins crew? Sorry for the crappy structure, I am about 15 minutes to leaving work, just wanted to lay this down before I forget about it tomorrow.
  2. I hope they do Japan first....I know they probably wont because Takeo has some serious back story now, so he'll probably be the finale. It's ganna be hard seeing the summoning key get filled in those maps....
  3. Well now that you're all helped and have it down good, I'll build off my advice for using the storm bow. For one is has good trajectory, and you can see the shots easier. This makes catching those circle plates on fire way easier, and the splash damage from the electric bow will still trigger the circles even if you miss a little bit. Other things I've found to make this step easier: Throw down your trip mines in the circle to mark it, makes it a little easier to see, or if you have the DG4 then that's going to be much better. If you are in a 2-4 player match, have a player(s) stand in the circle to make it easier to see. DO NOT use the wolf bow for this step as the arrow has a short range, it will blow up sometimes before even hitting the ground. Also, the wolf bow has 0 trajectory, it flies perfectly straight so wherever you're aiming is where it will land. This messes with me hard as I've always had to plan for my mark to be a little off, with the wolf bow it's just too perfect, and having the short fuse is annoying when you're trying to light the circle next to the death ray. I've never tried doing the fire bow steps with the purple bow but it would seem to be either harder, or just the same as non upgraded bow. Wolf bow being my favorite weapon...I'll still say upgrade it third or last if you're going for the trophy to build all bows in one game, it will save you a lot of frustration. EDIT: The wolf bow only shoots straight on it's charge shot, it does bend some when you tap the trigger button, but even still, it's hard to hit those fire rings with a tap of the trigger.
  4. You know you're playing too much zombies when you hear a police siren, and suddenly think you are close to a meteor or teddy bear to activate the song...

  5. So I guess these are what we come out of when we teleport to this place. I actually didn't even notice they were the same design. Tac again to the rescue haha
  6. Yep look at the glow, and just nudge upward a little and you'll hit it. Not confirmed, but it seems if you miss the first try and hit the wrong spot it doesn't work until the next test launch. Another thing, if you want to make the electric bow first, it makes steps 2 and 3 of the fire bow a lot easier, for me at least.
  7. Because her dad is, or was the leader of Group 935, there has been little mention of a mother so basically there was just no where for her to go. She was with him at Der Riese, Der Eisendrach and Moon (although that was technically accidental) and no telling where else considering we are dealing with different timelines/dimensions. We could even be dealing with multiple Samanthas.
  8. Ah gotcha, I misread my bad. I mean, I guess it's possible. But it's basically just a bed and a portal so it could be any room. I'd almost argue it's the room the drawings are in because one of the keeper skulls is in her toybox. But there is no way of knowing for sure so you're guess is as good as mine.
  9. Awesome stuff! Just a thought to throw out there, maybe this place is the castle depicted in painting 3 of the wolf bow step. It's certainly an old place and still has that medieval look to it. I've actually found this place by glitching out of the map in theater mode, you can't enter it and its just a big black box you cant see through. It is pretty close to the vault room where you go back in time to see Groph. Probably nothing but worth mentioning.
  10. Its not the same room, there is no window and even if there was, there is too much castle in the way. I personally still hope it's the house from the MP map that has the illusion town on the wall, same place we fight zombies in campaign. Research those places and ''Samantha's house'' and you'll see what I mean.
  11. I guess you could use white as a light source, but you can also use blues to add shadow to white clothing. The person is just to small to be the Big Guy, neck is also shorter. It might be a male peasant, or a female, or the Queen (starting to stray away from queen because there's literary no mention of one and non of the graves seem to give a hint to there being one) but this is most certainly a normal size figure.
  12. It'll be an argument til the end of time, the dress is white. They use soft greys and white mixed with blue to cast shadows on white clothing. I dont paint but I do this alot on my tattoos and marker prints. And even if was blue, it's obviously not dark blue. Sorry just realized this was the wrong topic for this discussion !
  13. Don't play randoms, it's bad for your health. Use this sites LFG section and you'll be fine.
  14. Something I'd like to add after looking closely at the Wolf Kings sleeves, there are a series of Iron crosses down the arms. I had doubts the Der Eisendrache castle belonged to the Wolf King even though he died here with his dogs, but seeing the Iron cross was the confirmation I needed and wanted to share.
  15. Again Rissole, great theory, but once again I'd like to disagree(what's a topic without it's debate right? lol) The person in the picture to me is female, and as @Nightmare Voyager stated in your Wolf King thread , you can't overlook the ring and white clothing, although it's hard for me to tell if it's a dress from the waist down, too many leaves, but I can see where it wraps across the chest and it could easily be seen as a dress. Another detail I can point out is its size doesn't look all that large, even in the background its hands are pretty small ,to scale with the Wolf King I don't see a large person. Now the book on ghost towns in the wild west is definitely Buried related, perhaps this was the beginning of research to places of interest involving anything 115/paranormal. Buried has relevance to the story still I'm sure, it ended the BO2 ''story'' and Maxis had been there before so it's little suprise to see references to the map. Also somewhat related is the bird painting that was a magazine cover in Tranzit.
  16. Ok at first I just saw a rock, I can kind of see what you're saying, but I guess I'll have to wait for your thread on it to see why this has to be the Big Guy. I can definitely see someone slouched over but no overalls and that arm looks strange to me, like there's no elbow. Plus it looks dead lol What bothers me about picture 3 is the location, nothing about that place looks similar to the Iron Dragon, so did this King survive a battle with the Apothicons? We see his sword and shield on the ground, that would imply his defeat, but when we see him in painting 4, it seems to be a nice day, green grass and sunshine definitely are not depicted in painting 3... Its funny the wolf bow was my least favorite of the 4 until I learned to use it correctly, and paired with the backstory, it's easily my favorite.
  17. I never said it was plucked from the pages, they've taken a story and made it their own, same as the nazi lore, same as Alcatraz, same as the end of the world scenario. We'll just have to see as more maps come out.
  18. Good theory, and nice seeing all the quotes, there is some major forshadowing in them. I definitely think we're seeing the same battle, or at least this realities version of that battle. The giant things in the sky, I'm almost certain are Eldritch Abominations, reality weavers from h.p lovecraft novels. I would also think Apothicons did not share peace with this King or people at all. My theory is this King craved power as most ruling men do and started a war he could not win. As far as the buried guy, I'm not seeing him in the painting or this story lol. A hilbilly in medieval times? Sound like some Army of darkness stuff to me haha And now that I'm looking at it, in the second painting we might be seeing the death of the first wolf, the shadowed figure in the forground with arrows in it. We don't see the wolves togeter after the first painting.
  19. If it's in the living quarters (Samantha's room ect) then that crow is looking at a scrap piece of paper, it was found last week and when I went to see it in theater I noticed the bird was pretty much looking at it...but I was unaware there were other birds. It's hard to say if it's a crow or raven. I researched this a few weeks back when I was digging in campaign and noticed the Corvus project and how we always saw the black birds. Corvus is a word to describe the genus but ravens and crows fall into this so who knows....
  20. Has anyone noticed in the first shot of the cutscene, there is a giant G935 logo on the moon? I meant to mention it a couple of days ago but forgot. It's irrelevant at this point but I haven't seen anyone mention it.
  21. Well before Deimos dies he asks Dolos if she plans to kill their king(father?) and their brothers/sisters as well and she says yes. The king could be cthulhu for all I know, but she may be part of the good side of the keepers. There just Isn't enough to go on other than what we see in SoE and the Iron Dragon.
  22. I have a theory that the thing in the sky from shadows of evil and the creature in the painting are of the same species. They are an H.P. Lovecraft creature called Eldritch Abominations, they are godlike beings and with a little research you'd see they would be capable of fitting the role of zombie controller. I also think Dolos and Deimos are Eldritich Abominations, and no I don't own a tinfoil hat.
  23. I'm watching a stream, and they have plungers for melee weapons...I asked him but he just said he wasn't really sure. Any clue how to get this majestic wonder weapon?
  24. What about the mysterious man from the loading screens in BO1? He certainly has the ability.
  25. That's the best I could get for now...I kept getting Dempsey and Richtofen so I'll try the Takeo thing asap. Dont know why they're so small, oh well I tried haha
