  1. Has anyone seen both the orange and the blue orbs around the streetlights (since they are on different ones)?
  2. The emblems are permanent but the tallies (blue eyes at 5 tallies) are not. It seems once you gain an emblem you can't lose it!
  3. He also said that was the ONLY time they saw it around the traffic light, and they have not been able to get it back since.
  4. That probably depends on how you define a glitch. I think a broad definition would be an unintentional benefit that the developers have not foreseen, which you would then have to figure out if the tombstone "glitch" was truly an intention of theirs (I think not), but on the flip side of the coin I remember the developers saying something along the lines of 'half the fun is seeing the community figuring out new strategies and play styles that we have never thought of' (paraphrased), soooooo..... I guess my point is that it is a very grey area.
  5. "cheating" seems to be a pretty strong word for this
  6. Here is a quote from Jimmy that I forgot about. I re-read it and it motivated me about there having to be more to the EE then we have figured out. What we have figured out is just toooo damn small (especially compared to the previous maps)!! Please Read again in the hopes of another surge of motivation to figure this out! Q:"Zombies mode has developed something of a reputation for its sprawling Easter eggs. I see some of that alive and well in TranZit's move to focus on a story, which has always been a core feature in your Easter eggs. But can fans still expect to pore over message boards and come together to puzzle as a group over figuring out some elaborate, deeply buried treasure hunt?" A:"Absolutely, and I think that this goes back to what makes Zombies so special in the first place. Zombies Easter eggs and side quests factor significantly in making the mode so special. It’s that passionate discussion around the various Easter eggs that connect the Zombies community in a special way, but then they spin up on the fiction: what they know, what they don’t, what they can piece together. Then there’s our favorite, which is when fans take the discussion in a direction that we never saw coming. But that’s all part of the deal and what makes Zombies such an interesting phenomenon."
  7. I was playing awhile ago and got jug before I turned the power on, and it was NOT greyed out, and I tested it and it worked (got hit 3 times in a row). Well, yesterday I wanted to play around with it to figure out how I did it, and figured it out! I was playing on solo and denizen portaled straight to town, and went to jug. What I did was put my turbine down, and as soon as I bought JUG I held X next to my turbine (which i couldn't pick up due to the drinking jug animation) but what happened I believe is that I picked up my turbine the split second between the drinking jug animation finished and actually receiving the perk, and it was LIT UP and working! . . . . might be a glitch but I dunno still cool!
  8. My favorite theory (which makes a lot of sense IMO) is that it takes the X number of best rounds and averages them out. So lets say you have been over round 20 X times, then you have a skull, when you have been over round 30 X times then you have a knife, etc..... and maybe the "X" requirements vary depending on solo, 2 player, 4 players. I'm pulling these numbers out of my ass but I think this is the most fair and practical way for the ranking system to work! Obviously this does not pertain to tally marks/Blue eyes. Objections?
  9. From what I've herd (have not tested) it makes your headshots do more damage.
  10. So is it true that Blue = Richthofen, red = Maxis?
  11. Check out NGTzombies, this happened to them once and they played around with it, but they couldn't get it to happen again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvjD1t22 ... ature=plcp
  12. As the post says this might be a stretch but i noticed there are 3 wires connecting the 4 buildings in town (it's not the wires connecting the streetlights, its above them)and shooting them (i used the upgraded war machine) makes them wiggle A LOT. I was playing solo so i couldn't do much but they move around a ton when shot in the corners. Maybe need 4 people or a different gun or something, but it seems like if they were not for anything they wouldn't move around so much.
  13. Is it possible that treyarch forsaw someone hacking the audio clips and planted fake ones as a punishment? or possibly had some audio clips that they took out of the game but were left in the code?
  14. "jimmy zielinski ‏@ZielinskiJimmy I have seen enough...you have all the info you need. Just say it!"
  15. Ok not sure if anyone has thought of this, but it worked really well for me and my buddy. This requires a split screen custom game (not local), and some money already in the bank. Sign in the second player as guest, and start a tranzit game. The guest player will start with whatever the first player has in his bank account (lets assume 20k). The first thing you do is go to town and have the guest withdraw all the money. First player should not touch the money in the bank. Then guest should go get Galvaknuckles (first player could be opening diner roof while guest is withdrawing money), then both meet up back in town. Then guest gives all his money to first player who then deposits all of the money in his bank. Quit game, guest signs out then signs back in, then start again. This time guest should start with more money in the bank (20k - 6k(for gloves)= 14k more). So now first player and guest should have minimum of 34k in the bank (not including extra money that has been gained for that round). You do that again and next round they both start with 64k,round after that 122k, etc.... (Don't know what limit is yet)
  16. Has anyone tried this? or figured out how to make the traffic light do the glowy thing?
  17. I have herd 2 possible suggestions. 1. Have electric zombie on bus, stop the Bus at the light and make the light go through a powered up electric fence. 2. Stop the bus and throw a monkey bomb under the light and zombies will attack the light, then shoot the pole the light is on with a ray gun to make the light drop into lava which will cause an earthquake. I think the church on the shortcut (between diner and town) has something to do with it. Maybe after earthquake it opens or something. Not sure.
  18. Downloaded video and playing in slow motion, traffic lights are morse code first sentence is "Power is Knowledge", "...y be transformed", "Energy...", Stay Close to me", "Go to the light", ".. future is ..ours ... stroy". I think maybe EMP the bus under the stop light, and everyone puts their turbine on it? not sure
  19. Maybe Green Run means "green" as in new or just starting, like it's your "first" run!
  20. Yes, this is for denizen portal travel!
  21. see viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25137
  22. Hey all, I made a very crude (not proportional) map of Green Run. Mainly to use the Denizen portals efficiently. The text near the portals is just what you are able to see to orient yourself. The portals are always against a wall, so if the portal is on one side of the road you can follow the wall its on to get where you want to go. Here is the link: http://tinypic.com/r/smaxzn/6
