ugh, agreed. feels like they kind of gave up after nuketown 2025. and i'm certainly not complaining about free stuff, but i'd just rather something that is all around cool (like, say, a poster for nuketown 2025?) then a playercard background. plus i'm already getting a CE so why would I want to rock the playercard background that all the $5 pre-order kids have? and if I don't take that, then i have to choose between 2 prizes in a virtually un-winable contest. waves and contests should be separate things.

i know it's kind of nerdy - but it would be super cool if they gave us like, zombies themed eclipse sunglasses for the lunar eclipse on november 13th. I remember when I was younger they had Flintstones in 3D and you got the cardboard cutout glasses from cereal boxes - loved those. and i remember making my own eclipse glasses in grade school. anyway, super nerdy - but i'd rather interactive then some prop for my avatar.

i think it would be much more jarring if we all spawned in different spots - I LOVE IT :twisted: also this would do-away with one of my fears - separate loading screens for all of TranZit.

I don't get why people are arguing it's going to be the same map. Nuketown 2025, yes (except futurized) - but certainly not NTZ. Ascension - Launch is a brilliant metaphor as someone used above.

no no, this is a whole new group they just put on today. Before this everyone was posting in the BO2/zombies section - now they have individual sections for the maps/game modes. All threads are still there in the BO2/zombies section - just have it moved to the appropriate new section.

no, it's just more so - if you're going to use the vrill ya then you have to back it up. some of the legend members, moderators and donors have done absolutely astounding jobs at backing up their theories of the vrill ya - hell turned me into a believer... but out of respect for them, i don't want to just throw it out there. It's so easy for people to use the vrill ya as an excuse for things happening when it in no way explains it. it's just a respect thing. By no means does this mean that you can't talk about it, you can openly say their name as much as you want - but you just won't find me saying their name unless I have iron strong proof/facts to back it up.

Given the achievements officially released, it's easy to see how the Easter Egg for TranZit could be "Tower of Babble". It has 75G, which is about the same amount of gamerscore for the last few epic easter eggs in zombies. So, now what? What could this be all about? FatedTitan had some great ideas that I helped him flesh out, greatly aided by the achievements revealed today and speculation from the community. To make it easier on the eyes, we've condensed it down into spoilers. I actually think this means walking to a destination. Lamia (I believe) said that you can either take the bus, or head on foot to each location. The bus provides shelter, but is confined so that presents other obstacles. On foot is obv more dangerous, but at the same time yields great rewards perhaps? (such as this cheevo)

wow I never thought of it this way. I don't know if anyone played the most recent SSX, but basically going on Electic's theory I picture this tombstone to work similar to their "GeoTag" system. I almost wonder if Denizen's are other survivors, scavengers if you will. The freak folk of the forest who will take your stuff. Although, the syntax of "latch" makes me think otherwise more science-fictiony stuff along the lines of nova 6 crawlers.

This could also be a nod to the voices Richtofen hears after touching the pyramid - i've heard people say it's just him being schizophrenic, i've also heard people say it's the ancient aliens that built the technology (i.e. the "v" word), or even the devil. Pure speculation.

that is a very interesting idea man. Nice. and thanks for the info on Babel. something to consider is where the actual act of "babble" comes from - oft from a crazy person, or off kilter individual. Knowing Treyarch, this can't just be a play on words.

Tower of Babble - Follow the voices (75) i'm fairly convinced this is the easter egg. 75 gamerscore is usually reserved for the harder challenges. also "follow the voices" is such a nod to richtofen, or even samantha, or even perhaps similar to CotD.
