  1. My attitude? All I've done is try to prevent a flame war... Actually, after re-reading my post... I don't think I'm even that far out of line here... I am willing to admit you were right on the song bit, but you flat out insulted me on my understanding of the story! I was wrong about the song, but if you go back, I'm still POSSITIVE my storyline was right... Nact happened, then the events in kino before it was destroyed that CREATED 935, then richtofen did his teleportation test with shüster, he got sent to the moon, then shangri la, then he returned to shüster! Richtofen did test with Nikolai takeo tank and samantha, then maxis did the test with fluffy the hell hound, which teleported samantha to moon and maxis to shangri la, samantha then entered the MPD, where richtofen returned to her and said "how did she get in there? No matter... Dr groph find maxis! And I'd look out for an evil looking dog while your at it..." (not compleatly accurate quote there). Then shuster and groph got maxis to moon and made him talk to samatha, she then went back in and maxis was shot! Sometime before or durring this, verruct happens, then richtofen, tank, takeo, and Nikolai headed for shi no Numa, fallowed shortly by a teleport to der reise! From there we went on to kino and so on and so forth! My some-what simplified timeline of the events before kino! Which should be accurate if anyone is willing to tell me if it is... But back to the real topic at hand, you sir have been nothing but rude! I apologize if anything I said offended you, but from what I've re-read I haven't...

  4. Too big see... 8 people, 7 elevators (and a freight elevator), so many zombies, and more wall weapons... It's just too much for the game to comprehend.. We may not all see it that way, but die rise is a big map, look at 8 player zombies on greif, it's laggy as IDEK, and that's only in an area the size of town... Now take a WHOLE DIE RISE and add four more players... WAAYYY too much to lag on... Dude, it could definitely handle it, I've played 8 player Die Rise and Tranzit without any hitches, the only time it ever seems to lag for me is when 6 or more people are in really close proximity , I dunno, I just feel like if there's a mode to allow 8 players the map should be big rather than small like we're used to, on another note the map really isn't that big The top two floors like Jason said arnt bad at all, and neither are the bottom two floors with mine, but together a good chunk of people will have serious lag issues. It doesn't LOOK like it would be that big of a map, but it is! Actually looking back, I like the top floors as Jason put it better then my idea, imagine automatically rigged trample steams! L-O-L! I would rage SSSSSSOOOOO MUCH!

  8. I don't feel this should be a "right now" project... But it could VERY well be a side project for trayarch over Infinity ward season... Online server with constant zombies... Some are harder then others... You can teleport to the moon, or walk through wasteland and city's to far off lands... Hmmm actually, picture this: Cod zombies: The final installment to zombies, after we compleat the LAST Easter egg ever, in all of zombies, trayarch releases a zombie game! There could be a campaign where you fallow the storyline of zombies, a mini game online mode where you can play greif, turned, and survival ect... And another option called: Z-land... You wander the face of the earth as a surviver, buy guns and tacticals from other players or from vendors... There would be an overworld where you can wander the ruins of the united states, Europe, china, and the moon... Max Amos, insta-kills, double points, death machines, and perk drops will appear from zombies... And there would be teleporters to places outside the current area... To china, where you can find shi no Numa, and die rise(through elevator), and to the united kingdom to find der reise, nact, verruct, kino,COTD and Assension... Then there's the us with the pentagon, green run,nuke town, a teleport to shangri la, and area 51... Which of course has a teleport to moon where you can explore the surface to a certain point... This would all be post-maxis bombs, and of course the entire bit of America would be just a bunch of random things... Boss zombies would appear where they would in the real maps... And there wouldn't be any "hidden info", all you could do is get stronger by collecting nazi medals... Nazi medals are awarded for visting actual maps... The nazi medals increase your rank and make more items avaible from vendors... Venders would be found anywhere, and offer perks, weapons, and equipment as trade items.., You can personallize your character and use teleporters to warp between maps... REALLY GOOD IDEA HERE!!

  10. The bank is kind of a disappointment... It's basicly a way to cheat in tranzit in my eyes... You don't actually EARN your points and I hate it when my team withdraws all the money to buy galvas, then steels all my kills for the rest of the game... :roll: I'm conflicted on the fact the bank isn't in die rise, on one hand, all the points I'd saved up over the course of tranzit I couldn't use in die rise... But then again, it makes die rise SSSSSOOOO much more fun now that my team can't "cheat" at the beginning... As for the problem with the bank did you accidentally add money back in at any point? Withdrawing that will cost you a good 100 a pop, so if you calculate that in... It could mess up your numbers...

I see your point max, but I feel like that form of team vs team is covered in tranzit, and that this would show us a compleatly new form of greif we've never seen before: One where you can't alter the other team's actions but by so much, no saving them from zombies, annoying EMP strikes and box horders. You actually have to survive to win!
  12. Ok look at die rise... It consist of two towers, equil in usefullness and awesomeness! Now look at greif... Its very simple how to do this, remove the top floor from the dragon building and the area before the slide in the upside down building... One team start where the box spawns, and can kill zombies up there, and when their ready, fall down to the budda room... The difference is now, there is no concrete slab to help you cross to the next building, once your down there, your STUCK down there! There is, however, pack a punch at the ready, on the same side of the room as the teddybear, up on the ledge where no zombies spawn... The other team spawns in the power room, instead of power though, they have a box spawn... They can travel downstairs and over look the budda room but not much else, however they do have access to juggernog, speed cola, and quick revive.. but no pack-punch machine... Basicly the CDC and the CIA fight compleatly separated... The CDC have three perks, but are in a very crowded area, the CIA have no perks, but have galvas And pack a punch... Who will last longer? Now here's another thing: A new drop! We have double points, max amo, insta-kill, Carpender, the perk bottle, which will appear at the end of a perfect crawler round..and the meat, which you can still throw from the budda room or the ledge, but now you also have a new perk called: Rebirth and it's symbol is purple with a teddybear as the icon... Grabbing it will respawn you in enemy territory, where you can be pushed into elevator shafts, or take a shot at their perks and upgrades! My apologies if this is ment to be in the greif section, but considering it WAS about die rise, I put it here...
  13. Alright, its about time I through out my old "challenge" book! Challenge 1!: Four players Similar to the tranzit challenge of "one for all" this challenge is much similar... "Tower defense"- Ok, so once the power is on, two players will head to the half-building and two will stay on the dragon building... The rules here are two people have to survive around one set if elevators and the others with the other elevators... Whoever survives longest wins... The only exemption is juggernog, pack a punch, and trample steams... The people in the dragon building can use the perks that spawn there: Mule kick, double tap, and juggernog when they want as well as pack a punch, the , claymores, semtext, mp5,ak-74 u, whatever the shotgun down stairs is... one box location and Bowie... The people in the opposet building can have access to speed cola, quick revive, who's who, the trample steam, galvaknuckles, two box locations, the m-14, ak-su, SVU, colt, Olympia, and elevator keys... You CAN NOT transverse between buildings, until a crawler round, then you can move to buy juggernog, galvas, tramples team, pack a punch, but can't kill any zombies until your back on your own turf, anyone who breaks these rules, loses... And SKY FALL: A death game mode.. Can be played with any people: basicly you have to keep moving, once an elevator gets there, your off! Chasm? No waiting! Get moving! If your in the same building for a whole round your disqualified, with the exeption of round 1 and crawler rounds...

  15. Brilliant! I love chemistry! Hmm... If that's the case... Then technically... The sluiquifier is producing a perk-detergent that reacts violently to zombie skin! (warehouse 13 quote here) ....Elaborate on violent? I could, if James McPherson were to step foot inside these walls his blood would turn to acid and melt through his own bones... Dude.. Mmmhhhmmm...
  16. Well doing it with two people also made it a lot harder as well, doing it with four is quite simple however... And if you did it in the early rounds it wasn't too bad if you got everyone to cooperate... Just keep your turbines, turn the power on by round 2, take some money out the bank to buy galvas, then kill the avagadro... Placing the turbines afterwards is simple... But again, just my opinion...
  17. Neither Easter egg is harder on one side, maxis's Easter egg in tranzit was child's play, but in die rise it was much more complicated.. Likewise richtofen's Easter egg was harder in tranzit, but easier in die rise...But that's just my opinion...

  19. It's ALIVE! This is just my map idea for this week, hope you like! (intentional grammar) Ok so the cut-scene opens and it shows Richtofen's silhouette of his-her face on moon... Vital energy is needed and maxis is becoming too meddlesome... If these buffoons keep messing up all my life force power will be spent... I need a way for these idiots to realize how powerfull I am, and the consiqeinces of helping maxis.... Purhaps... There! Aha! Oh this is going to be fun... (changes pictures to that of a silhouette sitting in an area between time and space, surrounded by energy) Maxis: That fool richtofen is leading them right into my trap... If these solders are able to help me with this last tower I will have won and the world should be the way it should... Richtofen: Alright this is it, you must compleat my final task HERE! Samule: Just end it... End our madness,PLEASE! Misty: What the hell...? Marelton: Where... Are we? This is like no place I've ever seen! Maxis: Ahaahhaaha! Welcome, to the Rift! This map is basicly a MASSIVE interdiminsional portal located inbetween space and time, on the overworld Map it's located in the center of the Bermuda triangle... You start off on a small island in the middle of no where with zombies and higher-protection scuba zombies rising from the sea... Theres nothing but a single door in the center of the island.. Oh, and quick revive along with the m14 and Olympia... Call this spawn island.. All seems calm until after you kill the first zombie and a massive bolt of power hits the door creating a eletric vortex right into the top of it! And it starts to rain... Now this door is special, if you open it from one side for 750 it opens into one place, but opening it from the other side for 1000 will send you someplace else! And once you buy one door you CAN'T get the other! By buying the 750 door you can walk through it to an amazing paradise: The rift... Inside the interdiminsional zone is basicly a white sky with no sun, just light... The ground is sort of a steined glass look to it... Around you there are trees of flesh and bones, and black ink waterfalls... Zombies, and scuba zombies still proceed through the trees and ground... Richtofen at this point will say: Ahhhahaha I see you've made it! Welcome! To the RIFT! Ya see that disturbance in the center? Ya? Good, I need you to fix that for me please if you can... If not I'll keep rewinding your lives until you do... Right off the bat we have our selves a small cliff overlooking the wonder... At the center you see a sort of yellow-green beam bursting from the heavens and constantly erupting with electricity! Walk around a bit and you'll find a door: A patch of trees that when you buy for 1000 will open up revealing a waterfall of ink and a strange catapult-like object... On the capsule there will be a lever peice... Grab it if you want... Theres also a stamin up perk here... If you stand in the water fall or the river bed you'll be pushed down stream, but if your actually pushed off you'll fall for a good 10 seconds then land in a pool of stretchy rubber that in turn, springs you onto the cove's shore in a prone position, much like the fall from the elevator in die rise... Here is the cove, a small little area under the bace of the ink waterfall where one can buy mule kick, or a boulder for 1250 that when moved opens a small room with another door in it... This door is mounted to a wall and when opened with X or square will open another portal to the real world... Outside you find yourself on another island with few tiki-heads and deadshot daiquiri! Here is an ok spot to train... But it's raining see...which is annoying... But if you buy a tiki head for 750 it will burst into another rift like the one in spawn! You can walk through again to find yourself in a room that at first looks like the bus depot... But they sell who's who here instead of quick revive... But the most important thing is NOT TO LOOK UP! Because when ya do you realize your on the ceiling and fall to the REAL floor which is just one big teleporter... Now important! The teleporter WILL teleport you, but it will take one whole minute! In which time there is a building table in the center, and the peices are in the bus depot area, they are: A suitcase, a counter bell, odd wires and such, and a video real... Combining these items forges the projector, when the reel is played it sends a wave of signals to the brain to explode it's self! Even yours! So all zombies that see it will die, but all players who look at it for too long die as well... After teleporting you find yourself in the stone bridge maze... Much like Harry potter's staircases, these bridges will constantly change destinations... Along each bridge is a glowing line and symbol, when it glows red it's about to leave! There are three areas: The entrance (nothing special), a small area where you can buy speed cola, and the top of the cove... The top of the cove is the area above the cove from earlier... Here you can activate the zip line back to the ink waterfall as well as grab a wooden bowl part... When your ready head through the jungle to the tram system... Or head into the sandy area to the beach... The beach has nothing but a perk machine emburried in the sand called: secret soda... Buying it will give you no perk, but will open a staircase inside it's self to a lab with the buildable wonder weapon: The implosion RPG- A weapon that fires a black hole that sucks all zombies in like a gersh devise... As well as the POWER SWITCH To build this you will need the parts gathered around in this jungle area, they are: a couch, a hook, a button, and a huge spring... Combining these things compleates a seat allong a massive path through the jungle that you can't proceed down because of a lava pit right before it takes off, but if you step on this baby... Wait a good 10 seconds...and laugh as you're slung over the trees... The jungle also holds PHD Flopper... You'll land in an area with a marble arch and a painting... The marble arch is where you DIDN'T come in from when you came here earlier.. Likewise the entrance door at the cliff would be marble too if you came through the 1000 door... There's another slinging device here, by the way, to get back to the other area... If you continue to the painting of a stage you can double jump into it and enter an area behind it that looks just like it... There's double tap you can buy here from the upper rafters and a black metal door, on ground level... As well as a gasoline tank part... Heading though the door will cost ya 750 but on the other side is the big rift! Not much to do here but you can BUILD a door to the outside world (using a handle from spawn island, a lock from the tiki island, and a hinge from the juggernog island), into the rift and stepping through will lead you to pack a punch... Juggernog island is a place only accessible through killing a zombie under the arch, one zombie means one trip, and once your there you have to kill a zombie under the arch to return! Obviously there is juggernog here... Pack a punch island has PAP as well as a build table for the bomb tosser: A turret like item that throws bombs at any zombie near it! As well as the final peice: a bag of grenades... (this combined with the lever, and the bowl, will make the bomb tosser...) That's the general map, no special zombies just normal ones, NOT! Of course there is a boss zombies called a zombie-tree, these are flesh-trees that will coil themselves around a player who stands still for too long and bring them to a prone position... Ruining your running tactics.... There are none in the real world though.. Easter egg: The very first step is crucial, as it determines Weither you pursue maxis or richtofen... Richtofen's side will tell you that you need to build a spire above the rift, and maxis wants you to destroy the rift... To pursue maxis you will need to fire an implosion rocket from the waterfall to hit the rift... This will tick off richtofen.. You will then need to drain power from the rift by killing zombie's OUTSIDE the interdiminsional zone, on any of the islands... Once you do that you need to compress the power in the rift by aiming a projector through the pack a punch door, then you need to PHD-Flopp behind it, or hit behind it with RPGs or ray gun splashes.. The next thing to do is have someone use the terminal in the lab under the beach... This will help maxis redirect the energy flow... And finaly you need to have all four players knife the post that recently appeared next to all 4 doors at the same time... This will cripple richtofen's energy flow towards the outer world! If you chose richtofen you need to stand on the gold tiles at the waterfall, cove, juggernog island, and tiki island... Then you will need to galva-punch the marble arch until the normally-green portal turns blue... Then NO ONE can go through it! Instead, launch a imposion Rgp into the arch and then walk through... This will dirrect energy outwards into the world... The last thing you must do is kill zombies under the rift until it seals up and energy begins to flow out the portals... That's my map idea for this week, it is nowhere NEAR the flèche map I gave you last week... Hope you enjoy either way!
  20. I did something like this a while back, but with more detail, and no one cared... Sigh... I'll always choose richtofen! I helped that monster sense COTD and why stop now? His quest have awarded us with a wonder waffe, all perks for one player, a chance to play as samantha, and cool artifacts! All maxis did for us was blow up the earth and steel ideas from the good doctor...
  21. An exellent point, However, I would love to see more wonder weapons as you described them, the weapon's history is almost as important as the weapon it's self...

  23. The problem isn't that the forum is filled with post about things we don't know... It's that there just isn't any post giving guides and tips... People don't find those just as interesting because to them, once you've seen one, youve seen them all...

Samantha wasn't in the mpd in veruct, my timeline is wrong, and everything I've thought about WAW songs was wrong... Apparently I'm also an angry raging monster now as well... I just should never had created this thread... Damn my pride....
