  1. You also have to shoot directly at the Gersche. It won't work unless it's actually going IN the device.
  2. I like to think of them as CoDz "achievement unlocked" medals. ;)
  3. That's the fun part; coming up with new traps to create that haven't appeared in zombies before. And the point being is to place it and use the environment around you to your advantage. I think it would also be cool if there were a spot that had loose rebar or a pole sticking out of a wall somewhere and you built some kinda catapult trap (similar to COTD) that once they stepped on it, it would fling them into the pole/rebar and shish-ka-bob them. Or even have some remote detonation traps that work at your touch; find parts to a detonator and throw some C4 into zombies, bring down a building or destroy a bridge when the zombie train crosses in its path.
  4. I usually stop taking it seriously after I've got the weapons and perks I needed, points I don't even know what to do with and am pretty much bored by that point. That's usually the cue for some friends and I to start taking whatever we get out of the box and see how long we can last. :D
  5. Gonna bump this, I feel like this kinda just got buried and wanna hear more ideas on this. :)
  6. I personally have no idea, but it makes the most sense to have the staff alone, keep their colors. Where as everything else, will be replaced by the medals displayed on your profile. Which reminds me, given the change of theme and all, will the staff colors also change? Or will they remain the same?
  7. Hardened is all I get. I don't need any collectors items. Just the in game content.
  8. Not a bad idea, could even set up some kind of goal like they do for fundraisers in schools. Mix that in with Jay's idea about give and take for a reward. CoDz could do some kind of auction or giveaway eventually as a "thanks" to the community and those who donated.
  9. And the easter egg would require all 8 players. ;)
  10. Meh. Its purely a theory. However, so was Alpha's take on Moon before it existed. ;)
  11. My tip for everyone who struggles is "Know you surroundings" I personally carry around an assault class for medium to large maps, and SMG's for small maps. Whatever your favorite setup is for weapons and perks is up to you, but when playing, I always pay attention to where the activity is, where I spawned and where I was killed. Check your corners, and for small condensed rooms, have a handy machine pistol would be my tool, you need to be in and out of areas; don't wait too long or just sprint everywhere, move at a steady flowing pace, stop when you need to and try to hold you ground. If you can keep a certain portion of the map to yourself and your team, you have a much better chance at pushing back the enemy team. ;)
  12. Saving CoDz, one dollar at a time. Edit: I officially gave chopper brain 935. 8-)
  13. Yeah absoutely. That could work all the same. Having 8 players was merely an idea for online. But I like the idea of switching between characters instead even better actually. ;)
  14. Someone had suggested else where that they should make a separate XBL arcade game for zombies that is purely a map editor or zombies maps that you could create and share. That way it's separate from the original installments and isn't too cluttered in the actual game.
  15. I don't think we ever even got a solid confirmation that zombies was included at all. We saw discussion of zombies in World at War, and I think I recall seeing an interview that had a video of the Black Ops menu in the background showing Zombies in the TV, but we never got a single trailer. I hope they are more direct with us this time because it is clear that we love zombies. GKnova6 was the most solid confirmation, but no one really knew what to think of it just at first and we're shocked to find it was basically a shot at the menu! Which, I thought was ultimately pretty cool. However, I'm actually feeling just the opposite about releasing info on zombies. I love it how Treyarch is so cryptic about everything relating to zombies and it keeps the fans on edge, keeps us guessing and the excitement of anticipation is like a cliffhanger, it makes you wanna pull your hair out for a straight answer, but at the same time makes you strive even more for zombies. It's a fun game AND realistically, clever marketing on Treyarch. ;)
  16. Not to be a downer, but a even if that information is true, knowing Treyarch, it would probably only be about the basic ideas for changes/additions to multiplayer. They don't usually even confirm anything about zombies until like a month before its release.
  17. Agreed. Between Battlefield and MW alone, they've got the Modern era of things covered as far as multiplayer/campaigns go. I'd personally LOVE to see then return with a WaW 2 and cover more of the Axis point of view by covering the Valkurie operations.
  18. As far as zombie maps go, I figured they could do some tribute to the MW series and have a huge map to break up the routine (like COTD did in Blops). Here's the intial idea;
  19. Haha I was fairly certain I was no where near the oldest on the site, I just expected Convert would be closer to Alpha's age, TBH. One of the main Admin's over at the other site I attend is 65! XD
  20. And a fine job you have done, I can't wait for all the latest experimental changes and layouts. ;)
  21. I don't actually. :/ Facebook is about the only social networking site I use other than CoDz lol. However, I do occasionally just IM people on my E-mail account. [email protected]
  22. After reading Convert's thread, I quickly realized that I don't recall ever even making an introductory thread when I first joined CoDz. And now here I sit, just over a year now at CoDz and as the saying goes, "I'm better late than never!" Well, I suppose I'll do a little show and tell as they did back in the good 'ol elementary days of school; My name is Cody, all of you who run into my posts or have played with me on XBL all know me by Undead xP. (Which, as a fun fact, for some reason I have acquired the nickname "XP", when playing XBL. Like short for "Experience" when really, that's honestly just a dead smiley face, lol.) I'm 19, and will be 20 years old on June 1st. I am currently attending college for my Associates Degree in Animation, and also have a certificate in Composites Techology I earned this past December. (Fun fact number two, having such a certificate basically puts my foot in the door for jobs working on building stuff out of carbon fiber and fiberglass materials to make components such as aircraft material and heavy military weaponry. ) For hobbies, I have been playing guitar for 5 years now, and am currently playing with some friends of mine and have actually written a few lines, riffs and even full out song parts for my dads band (whom has been playing for most of his life and has inspired me to play in the first place.) I also draw, and have shared a few of my favorite and most recent pieces here on CoDz. I have never taken an art/Drawing class until just this semester in college and feel as though I do quite well considering I basically taught myself everything I know. I am currently new and working on learning programs such as Adobe photoshop (CS5), Adobe Illistrator and Flash. If you have not seen my stuff yet and would like to, just check out my Deviant art at http://xwolfie212x.deviantart.com As for how I got here today, it all started out back when WaW was brand new and my dad really loves realistic war games. At the time, I had barely gotten XBL for the first time and religiously played Halo for the majority of my first year, I had curiously tried out multiplayer online for WaW and immediately fell in love with it. The more I got into it, the more I wanted to try out the campaign. Then, just as I completed the campaign, that classic cutscene showing that limping zombie is what ultimately started it all. As porky pig would say; beriherebbierbebreb That's all folks! XD
  23. Only 18 eh? Perhaps I am just used to the other forums I attend that's full of old farts lol. I naturally assumed you we're at least 20 or so, but that's impressive! As far as seeing you around the forums, I don't believe I even in so much talked to you before until shortly after you promotion to Admin, and even further more after the medals system has been brought forth and lately has been put into motion. To be honest, I never did post an introduction thread. I suppose better late than never! Keep up the great work, Convert! ;)
  24. It's all good, I'm just glad to see others have similar views bro. ;)
  25. I posted it in a separate thread. 8-)
