Welp, Nuketown 2025 is FREE now and STILL I haven't seen it in the HC playlists. WTF....

Let's keep this going, I'm curious to know how some of you guys would like to incorporate our favorites into the new. :)

It's really no big deal to prestige this time around. Sure, you still have to unlock various items by reaching a certain rank, but once you've earned them back, everything you have already earned is still there. Not to mention if you have a favorite weapon or perk that you don't get till fairly late in the prestige, you could just permanently unlock it with the perma token earned each prestige. I'm sure everyone knows that. It's basically just, why not? I get bored easily if I know there's really no reward at the end. So I prestige almost immediately.

I've stated Blops 1 maps to be included too. Both could be incorporated as their own "map pack" for zombies, basically.

So I was thinking the other day as cool as it would be to have ALL available maps into one central game, I certainly do not feel like purchasing the same old maps for like the 5th time now.... So, what if instead, they introduced the classic maps (WaW to Blops), Blops 2 style? Obviously it would mainly be just for fun, but I think it would be pretty cool if they did a Tranzit style mash up for a WaW and Blops "map pack". Have the "Main" mode where you can relive all of the zombies maps in one go by having the ability to teleport between sections of each of the maps, or, play it the way you remember it and play each map individually on Survival. Hell, spice things up and see how well a Grief match would work out. Split in teams of 4 on Verruckt? F*ck yes! How about some serious close quarters "Turned" on NDU? Just a completely Blops 2 remastered classic bundle in two separate packs; The WaW bundle, and the Blops bundle. Tune up the old maps we know and love to fit some of Blops 2 new modes and just have fun with zombies in familar settings we remember most. I would definitely be willing to purchase something like that instead myself. ;)

I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about when it comes to campers-galore. I play HC modes 100% of the time and while yes, they are more hesitant to run around constantly, they aren't always just setting up a tent and claiming that section of the map the entire time either. Not to mention, the maps are all structured to have more than one entry way to everywhere so camping doesn't really do a whole lot if that's all you plan on doing anyways. Also, when you are shot or killed even, the camera still automatically jerks towards the attacker, so if you pay attention, you'll know right where they are without knowing EXACTLY how they killed you from their POV.

Kinda reminds me of "Amm-O-Matic" that has been rumored since Der Riese, and yet like 12 perks later, we still don't have it.

Nuketown is WAY too small to be needing more perks, yet alone have all of them available from the start. It would be too easy. For me, Nuketown Zombies is the closest thing to the classic feel Blops 2 has to offer, a NDU 2.0 IMO, and still my favorite of the three available so far. If anything, I wouldn't mind if they randomly added one of the new perks in to replace one of the 4 original perks, just for and extra challenge, but I think it should stay at four, if not just keep it the way it is. The way they spawn and everything already evens it out perfectly since you don't know what you'll get or when.

I'm not sure what the whole deal is behind actually making servers and new game modes, but it would be nice if they at least did trial modes so often where they added a new mode for BOTH core and hardcore and see what the feedback is. If it's popular, it stays and so on. Because I know there are always at least one or two modes that are rarely used compared to the others.

Pshh... f*ck that. XD It bothers me to hold still for very long. I'm ALWAYS moving. Funny thing is most people automatically assume if the person WASN'T moving, they must have been camping. I like it when it has that tactical feel to it. Camping to me is when the person flatout sets up junk and doesn't even move, ever.

Only I problem I see with people doing that is using the tac insertions to boost. Wanna solve that problem? Take out the tac insertions. Those are nothing but a nuisance anyways.

Finally! I don't have many good-looking camos for my guns, so I like using the CE camo until I can get "Art of War" or "Gold." Best news yet. Finally...

As a Hardened edition owner, I'm sure I can speak for everyone else that purchased one when I say we got ripped off, but the one thing I've noticed thoughout the entire CoD series is the lack of modes in Hardcore, especially Blops 2. I purely play Hardcore. Not only in the CoD series, but any game that offers such modes. In Blops 2, there's what? 4 modes? TDM, S&D, CTF and Kill Confirmed. Where's HQ or Domination? Where's HC Moshpit? CoD would be a lot more entertaining if there were equal choices for both modes. So the problem? I have Nuketown 2025 and have NEVER played it. (except or 2x weekend) Which, is another thing, where's my HC Nuketown 2025 playlist? I've come to enjoy the CoD series multiplayer less and less with the miniscule amount of diversity for HC modes.

And yet one more reason getting the Hardened edition was pointless... they better freaking make the map available for ALL modes by that point at least. I only play hardcore, and they didn't have any hardcore "Bonus" modes...

I honestly never meant anything of it. I suppose I jumped the gun with my intital response, but I've always been more of the "problem solver" guy. And by the way the OP was worded, my first response for that was "Well, then don't play with randoms. Problem solved." I'm not one to say what's wrong to right to talk about, but it makes more sense to me to discuss something that is productive, not something to just bitch about because we can. He addressed a problem, I gave a solution.

You really need to cool your jets, MMX. I merely stated my honest opinion, and it wasn't as blatant as telling people to "stop whining" as several replies were. But, I agree with them. Why should anything about the game change because gamers are going to be gamers and have fun and dick around some? I'm not saying people can't express personal feelings and options about something, but if it's some that merely bothers you, then avoid it. Problem solved. People may have more insight on the topic, but the bottom line is, they are going to tell you the same thing; If you don't like the current situation, avoid it. Just because I'm apart of the staff, doesn't mean I need to "sugar coat" my opinion and certainly don't have to explain myself either. I don't mean any offense and I hope no one feels none. But YOU need to really stop taking things so serious and personal. You've had a history of doing so here already.

I'm sorry, but if I'm understanding this right, we're getting bent over the fact that people like to check out Misty? Really? I'm not directing this just at the OP, but in general, if you can't handle a few gamers being gamers, then I'm right their with Way. It's a game, get over it.

Ah, the good 'ol days... I simply found out after the ending of WaW, when it suddenly did the infamous cutscene that started it all. I barely lasted several rounds, and immediately told my friends about it. The more we played, the more we got into it. I was both a WW fan and a zombies/horror fan, and the two just blended together wonderfully.

Not to come of as a jerk or anything, but why is this even still an active topic up for debate? Bottom line is simple; no one here has hopped on CoDz, and straight up said "Anyone ready to rape some zombies?" because if at all, people usually say something around those lines in game, and they obviously mean it in the sense of kicking some ass and having fun, not literally, raping a rotting corpse... (of course unless you start tea-bagging them, I guess) Take it as you will, but if there's anything someone says that offends you, simply state your feelings on the term, and leave it at that. If anything like that happens on CoDz that becomes a genuine issue, we'll take care of it.
