  1. I'm in the same boat. Ninety-second Death Machines just seems useless unless it were meant for something else, but I really think with such a zealous zombie community across all platforms that someone would have found SOMETHING by now. Such a great little story to get caught up in, isn't it?
  2. I would love it, too, but since we never see actual gameplay of these melee attacks and special weapons I'll believe it when I see it. The cutscenes look fun and promising, and adding these new things would follow in line with Treyarch's claim of giving zombie fans a new experience, but ... well ... we have only a few more days to find out! Or until the inevitable video leak ...
  3. I like the distraction idea for other zombies, as in the zombies swarm around the newly-returned human (poor, poor human), so it could in fact be like a monkey bomb ... but why not just have monkey bombs then? So I'm with you, I don't think it will be an equivalent. But we could be wrong! And we can speculate the crap out of everything until we're blue in the face so ... just gotta wait and see! As long as it effectively stops a zombie from eating me, I'm all for whatever this VR gun does!
  4. I'm pretty addicted to MP. I agree wholeheartedly about the spawn points, though. Has anyone played a game of Headquarters on Nuketown? Insanity and high kill counts, but I think Treyarch needs to remove that map from Headquarters.
  5. And no, the clip that plays is all from the campaign. Yeah, no one outside of Treyarch knows all of the storyline, but it's so fun to try! It involves Nazis, dogs, element 115, a very funny Russian, and now time travel and government figures of the 1960s ... I hope we don't figure everything out! Just like a good conspiracy ... we'll never know ...
  6. I have mixed feelings, but about 85% positive! I thought it was a bit predictable 3/4 of the way through, and the last level just kind of ended for me, but the journey to get there was really, really good! By far, the best Call of Duty storytelling so far. I have another question though, and maybe some synapses in my brain aren't firing to figure this out, but what did the last image mean, with Mason being there in Dallas when Kennedy was shot? That's really all we know, that Mason was there. Grassy knoll? He's not Oswald because, interestingly enough, with the subtitles on, when you're stumbling through the NSA and Mason's brainwashing is being broken, you hear Mason say something in a flashback about Oswald being ... found or something. But what do you guys think? What are we supposed to take from that final image?
  7. I saw it! An unfinished pyramid with an all-seeing eye! It was on the tv with the black screen in the already open corridor. I wonder ... where are there others ...
  8. Man ... I have no idea what I'm looking ... but it looks awesome!
  9. That's ok, dude! Not having played it yet (which must be eating you up inside!), you're forgiven ! These two new maps are pretty difficult compared to WaW; it's very difficult to hold a spot. Treyarch has ramped up the zombies' abilities to attack you at the windows. The general tactic seems to be to run a circuit of some kind. When you do play, just know ... the maps are bigger, have more objectives, and are tougher.
  10. Nope. After you turn the power on, there are four switches in the middle floor/War Room, 2 on the catwalk, 2 on the lower part (they're green and will have DEFCON # by them). Flip them all and you can then teleport to the 115 room which is the PaP room. Is this a viable camping spot? Seems unlikely but I haven't tried it.
  11. Actually you just have to set the place to DEFCON 5 by flipping the four switches in the middle floor/War Room (after turning on the power in the lowest floor/Lab) and teleporting to the PaP. In the War Room, there are two switches around the catwalk and two below. Teleport. Boom! 115 clearance! Unless ... it stays open after the Thief comes? I don't know. Haven't played it enough to know that for sure. But the switches are a definite!
  12. Long-time-visitor, just joined today! No wonder there's been such an awesome increase ... this really is the best zombie site and community around.
  13. Also, in the PaP room, in the adjacent hallway are portraits from Kino, one of Maxis and the blacked-out one, Richtofen, right?
  14. The metal detectors have "3ARC" labeled on them at the top.
  15. Nope, haven't noticed that yet. I've only been able to play solo and I've been scrambling around the map like crazy looking for easter eggs and other backstory stuff ... but doing that on solo (for me at least) is hard! Will keep my eyes open, though!
  16. Thanks! Hopefully Play.com had like the best deal ever to make you wait! That's a frickin' travesty! And unfortunately (for gaming together) I only have a 360. Guess we'll have to keep our relationship forum-al. Thanks again for the hearty welcome!
  17. Howdy, CoDz community! After discovering CoDz a few months ago, I've been coming back time and time again for all of my zombie fixes, whether for backstory or strategies, analyses or fun questions, or just for procrastination-at-work's-sake. Hands down this is the best site and community for anything zombies. I've been impressed countless times with the trivia that's been dug up or the helpful tips and tricks. But I never joined in. The day has come! I'm not great at coming up with awesome discoveries or anything, so I'll leave that to those who have been gifted with those amazing talents. I'll just throw in my honest opinions everywhere I feel led. My friends and I eat, sleep, and dream zombies, as you all understand. After getting Black Ops at midnight, the first thing we did was jump into Kino. Normally with a midnight release I love to play through the campaign in one run, but what a testament Treyarch's zombies is that a smaller, quicker mode garnered all my attention and still has; I've only played a couple hours worth of the campaign (I'll get back to it eventually). Just sayin' hey and looking forward to sayin' stuff. Zombies, the most addicting thing I've ever experienced.
