  1. PS4 could be getting DLC first instead of Xbone. Or they might not. We don't 100% know, but hell - doesn't stop us from thinking about it. All we know for sure are rumors are flying around, and it's best to take everything you hear/see with the tiniest grain of salt unless it is matter-of-factly announced by Activision/Treyarch/Microsoft/Sony themselves. Would it suck to have Playstation get DLC early? For Xbox players, yes. At the same time, however, this gives us a second chance of whether to buy it or not? [Although I'm pretty sure we'd by anything Treyarch gave us even if we didn't like it.] And vice versa for Xbox. The world may never know.
  2. No need to apologize @DeathBringerZen, I was just saying that so many people are threatening to jump ship over a small detail like old-gen porting. It was clearly mentioned from the initial source of this thread that Treyarch was leaving the port to two other developers so the current generation consoles won't necessarily be affected or reduced to match the content of the 360 or PS3. Like said above, it will probably be a low-quality port like the Wii did for Black Ops. In fact, I was an advocate of porting to older consoles so long as the initial quality of current gen experience wasn't reduced. A majority of One/PS4 fans simply want their predecessors to be left to rot, thinking that it would hinder future performance. It won't, especially since this is Treyarch we're talking about. Now with this new press release, we can safely trust their judgement and keep our hopes up. They will deliver a great game no matter what - now, they just won't be able to blame it on porting. @the_clay_bird I get the Multiplayer aspect on it completely; however, I highly doubt the number of players per console gen will be an issue considering that - as you and others have reiterated thousands of times on the topic of older consoles - many people have upgraded to newer, more powerful hardware (current gen). It would takes a few more years until the amount of available players in Black Ops 3 would reach such a low that it would alter your enjoyability in Multiplayer.
  3. People really like complaining, huh? You won't know that the quality will suffer. All that we know is there are two other developers that will be concentrating on the port for older consoles so Treyarch can focus on the current gen hardware. Y'all are taking a drop of rain as a flood; you don't know what kind of quality the game will deliver so don't bring down your hopes just because they did something that means nothing for you. I'm just gonna take whatever Treyarch delivers us with reasonably-high expectations but will indefinitely enjoy myself while playing. No point in emphasizing unnecessary negativity for a game we know little about. Looks like I gotta buy a trampoline for you guys since you love jumping to conclusions.
  4. More horses More gloves More blue shields
  5. The URL/domain will remain the same despite moving over. That transfer between hosts and DNS servers is what the downtime will mostly be about. We're still good ol' callofdutyzombies.com.
  6. I dropped a couple bills to get an Xbox One. Just to get this game. Now my body is ready.
  7. That would be @MysteryMachineX's Trilogy document which was later transcribed into a popular audio documentary on YouTube. Maybe he would be so kind as to repost it once again?
  8. I saw sliding is back. Me gusta. And that hand-turret? Hella sweet.
  9. Agreed. In any story with the future as the time setting, the moral conflict of engineering another human being from scratch has always been the moral conflict. The same way cloning was in the past (and still is to this day). Normality leads to enhancement. Enhancement leads to human augmentation (or substitution). And those lead to creation. At some point, humans will create the next generation through unnatural means with technology to create full-on cyborgs. That's the vibe I get when I watch this trailer. It's easy to see that whoever we are playing as, will initially be in favor for augmentation but will soon take down the very company behind it because 1) Coalescence Corporation may attempt to control the entire human population with the augmented humans 2) the technology will fall into the hands of war mongrels (still could be Coalescence) or 3) the augmentation itself manifests the mind and causes those who underwent several enhancements to no longer be human [which several of y'all have discussed and I personally love].
  10. Everyone loves Nuketown - it's gotta be in it, but not just remodeled. The bigger question is whether it'll be a bonus map that comes with the standard game or an "exclusive map with Season Pass holders".
  11. Oh, that makes more sense...the cipher I was looking at gave me the wrong combination. Derp.
  12. Welcome to the community, friendo! Normal isn't a very...uh, normal thing around here. Enjoy your stay and happy slayin'!
  13. Was roaming across YouTube tonight and came across @RADAUSTIN27's video about no-clipping on Moon. I gotta say, some very interesting things going on like the mountains in the far distance (Rad points them out significantly as the Shangri-la mountain look-a-likes...something right up @GRILL's alley). Here's the video, it's definitely worth the watch: Critical Points (based on video): The mountains in No Man's Land are far off in the distance, and look quite similar to the ones in Shangri-la. The grate underneath the Pack-a-Punch is also filled with water and linked to the mud pool. According to Rad, the rockets and several other physical features do not show on the Moon unless the teleporter has been activated in No Man's Land. On top of Griffin Station, there are Russian containers that read "It is contaminated/infected through 500M". Some radios are very much missed. For example, the one in the Biodome requires you to fling across the lunar pads and falls directly near it as its perched on a steel beam, while another is outside a window in one of the labs. None of the rockets on Moon are labeled or have any kind of icon/writings.
  14. @Raioya Welcome to the community, friendo! We are certainly going to be deal with advanced warfare once more, whether it be cybernetic suits or the overall tone of the game. I would take what James C. Burnes says with a miniscule grain of salt; he's known to spew different details that had little to no actual relativity behind it. But he is right on one thing: Call of Duty is pushing forward into future settings because the past has been overdone to death (although there's certainly room for very specific periods of wartime). Three words: gloves, shield, and horse.
  15. New tweet from TheUnmarkedMan: Juicy, juicy, juicy. Sounds like this person is trying to reverse the effects of Dr. Salim's work.
  16. Besides a billion pieces of information regarding Black Ops III? Nothing else really. But welcome back again, friendo.
  17. Not sure why, but I see (outside of here) people hating on this game if it comes out for the 360/PS3 ADDITIONALLY, as in the next-gen consoles STILL get the game. Does no one want the last consoles to get as much fun either? Does it really hurt other players to allow another person who doesn't have the console to enjoy the game? Like hell, I'm still enjoying AW on the 360.
  18. "The Incident" referred to in the tweet? I said that was the first thing that came to my mind which was also called "The Incident". I was pointing out supplemental information.
  19. The Incident was referenced in Black Ops II Zombies during the Buried intro cutscene. In fact, that was what led to Russman being removed from Broken Arrow. But that was in Zombies, and it's unlikely that they are crossing that over to Campaign considering that it's two "alternate" universes. But hey, that's the first thing that comes to mind. As for Hudson: He doesn't have any visible tattoos, even in Black Ops II. Wanna see something weird? His tattoo changes. Definitely nothing new, but something to note.
  20. I've checked with @Hells Warrrior, and we're working on an issue with it relating to post count (since it's apparently a suite-wide application). Once it doesn't register comments as actual posts, we will get it enabled. Sorry about that friendo; I honestly didn't realize that it did that but thank you for letting us know.
  21. 1) The teleporter lights turn green when the pad is active and ready for teleportation. 2) Almost all objects in Black Ops are interactable; knifing stackers of paper, breaking bottles, explosions making things fly around, etc etc. 3) Never heard of that one before. Where exactly does this happen? 4) Same reason why you can hear screams in one of the windows while in the Speed Cola room. The knocks were thought to be morse code, but I don't think anyone has been able to crack it yet. 5) The rocket inside the CIA room during teleportation? What does it supposedly do when activated?
  22. Welcome back to the circle, friendo. You creeped long enough and now you will stay forever.
