  1. Yeah, from my experience you can't exit the crazy place out of a teleporter you've not activated from the other side at least once. Nicely done though on a round 5 Boomhilda! I've been trying my own early round challenge to see how early I can get an upgrade lightning staff. So far I've managed it by round 7, but I can definitely improve upon that.
  2. The method that works well for me is to build the lightning staff as quick as possible and then upgrade it straight away. I can generally have the lightning staff upgraded during round 8. I'll be starting round 8 in the crazy place, getting the kills for my lighting staff to finish its upgrade. It doesn't take the whole round to get the neccessary kills so, once it's finished, I'll then head out of the crazy place, say hello to the panzer (and by "say hello" I mean "murder it in the face with an upgraded lightning staff") and head right on over to the church to cleanse the stone. Doing it this way makes getting the melee kills for the airstrike grenades super easy. You just use the upgraded staff to melee, and you have the added benefit of being able to instantly clear out the zombies with a lightning blast if you find yourself in a bit of a pickle. Easy! And, unlike with the zombie shield, you'll still be getting points from your melee kills!
  3. Do you need to have 4 players in the game for this, or will the requirements scale to the number of players in the game?
  4. Well, you don't *have* to pickup the perk bottle after you use the machine, you can just let it disappear and re-roll for another without using up one of your 4 perk slots. I actually like the wonder fizz - it's like a Mystery Box, but for perks!
  5. I could be way off here since I don't know all the intricacies of the zombies storyline, but could the "Samantha" we're hearing for Origins actually be the mother? Have any of the previous Zombies storyline details ever talked about Mrs Maxis/Samantha's mother? And then our usual Samantha was maybe named after her mother? Just throwing it out there! Since it would seem as if it fits into the timeline better to me and would explain the different accent while still being and interesting tie-in to it all. Or, you know, I'm completely wrong and just missed the stuff that mentions Samantha's real mother.
  6. No, I'm getting a new Time Bomb each time I pick up a Max Ammo. You can see the Time Bomb Icon, just above the grenades on the HUD, go from "0" to "1" when I pick up the Max Ammos.
  7. I know that when you get revived by ballistic knives you don't get the benefit of the Tombestone Persistent Upgrade, but it still isn't completely gone. Next time you go down with perks and get revived regularly, you will still have the upgrade. I've still no idea how you lose it, nor have I lost mine ever since originally getting it.
  8. Glad you guys liked it. Just a bit of pointless fun! Direct link added to my original post, for mobiles :)
  9. Hi guys. So I was just messing around and thought it would be fun to go straight from 0 perks to all 7 perks in 1 witch round, using the trick to keep powerup drops plus time bombs on the witch. Here's the vid! vBKTzZjDt0M Direct Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBKTzZjDt0M I could've done it by Round 3 but I accidentally picked up one of my Max Ammo drops as I was running around the map, do'h! A more practical use would be to just hang on to all those Max Ammos for when I really needed them, but where's the fun in that? P.S. as well as keeping Max Ammo drops, you can also keep the witch's Perk Bottle drops too. Now that is handy!
  10. Yup, you absolutely could do that too. After Tranzit though, I'm all MP5 wall-weaponed out. All I ever did on that map was horde near the Diner and buy MP5 ammo! Good times...*shudders*
  11. So after we kill the witch and get the bottle, it will never disappear? I read here that LEROY switched drops tend to do have the same effect. Didn't know about this. +1 Using Leroy's switched drops trick is exactly how you do it. It's just that it also works with perk bottles ;)
  12. You can keep the perk bottles that the witch drops, allowing you to horde them up for when you really need them, i.e. after just going down.
  13. Some great suggestions/spots here guys! I really liked the idea about the Remington area, but putting a more useful gun in its place. Buying...Ammo...? What madness is this?! If I'm playing co-op with randomers, I'm lucky if it goes past round 30, in which case Max Ammos come more than frequently enough when carrying 3 weapons. If I'm playing Solo (or get lucky with the box in co-op) then Vulture-Aid + Paralyzer is practically a constant ammo producing machine. If I find myself low on my other 2 guns then I just switch to killing with the Paralyzer and then picking up the ammo drops for whichever gun I want ammo for (which is generally the Mustang & Sally).
  14. Is it just me or has this only started happening since the latest patch? I'd never had it happen to me before, but since the patch it happens to me almost everytime I attempt to do this trick while I'm just outside the back of the mansion (she always gets herself glitched under the stairs). I've been unable to get her unstuck once this happens, if none of her body is poking out through the environment. I've tried going through the well, running back through the mansion, shooting around where her body should be. Nothing seems to kill her or get her to respawn when it happens.
  15. I like to train right in front of the Mansion, running around the rock in the centre. It may seem like a very tight loop (and it is) but you can always move out wide to the bushes on the left or right and do a quick figure-8 if you get a sudden influx of zombies. After building up a large enough horde I just run out through the gates, so that I have room to run backwards and shoot them while they form a nice line of death. What's great about this spot is that when I play co-op games with randoms, they don't tend to hang out near me. Plus I always know if they're about to run into the mansion to activate the ghosts. Also, I always know right at the change of a round whether the mansion lights are on.
  16. You can also store up the Max Ammos to get even more than 2 free perks from a witch round. 1. Save a Max Ammo 2. On Witch Round, enter Mansion. 3. Kill all but last witch. 4. Place Time Bomb. 5. Kill last witch. 6. Use Time Bomb. 7. Pick up free perk. 8. Pick up stored Max Ammo. 9. Place another Time Bomb. 10. Kill last witch again. 11. Use Time Bomb again. 12. Pick up free perk again. 13. Kill last witch again. 14. Pick up last free perk. Repeat steps 8 - 12 for as many Max Ammos you've stored, for up to 7 free perks from 1 Witch Round. Hmm, I'm wondering if you could also store the Free Perk bottles themselves. So that you can literally grab another free perk whenever you want, for if you go down. Now that sounds overpowered! Imagine being on, say, Round 40 and having like 10 Max Ammos and 10 Free Perk bottles just lying around!

    LSAT stuff

Also, it is actually possible to quickly switch to another weapon in mid-air so that you don't swap out the Paralyser for the LSAT, if you'd rather swap out a different weapon.
  18. Hmm, I've gone down and then gotten free perks from the witch and not lost it. I've also gotten free perks then gone down and still not lost it. In fact, in my most recent game I went down like 6 times, with my total number of perks fluctuating quite a bit (I only got revived like half of the time, so went down to no perks a few times), but I still never lost the upgrade. Here's my thought (and it's something that's rarely, if ever, happened to me yet): you maybe lost it from going down multiple times without having any perks. Of course, even if that's true, you didn't lose it straight away after that happened (as indicated by your 3rd down), so maybe going down without any perks (and maybe not getting revived too?) triggers the chance to lose the upgrade, and after that, if you go down too many times you lose it. Or I dunno maybe you're right about losing it if you go down when you have 4 or more perks, and you hadn't bought 4 of those perks. I thought I'd already had that scenario happen to me before, but I could be wrong. Still, we have our first video evidence of someone actually losing this upgrade though. At least now we know it can happen to you! *que ominious music* dun dun dun!
  19. Mine was a co-op game I didn't have all my perks when I actually wanted it. Infest and I were camping in PAP room. I had only knuckles and Sallies and he had paralyser. I kept going down, and I only kept my perks once when I entered the mansion and the witch got me. I didn't get the perks when I went down right away I got it after I picked up the Perk bottle. May be it has something to do with perk bottle then? I will test a bit more today but I can safely say it I don't have it anymore, so I can try and re-obtain it. I didn't quite understand that. How exactly did you lose the upgrade?
  20. Nice update to the guide. I also like the colour-coding :)
  21. Another way to help maximise your points in round 1 with the zombies would be to get the Sniper Rifle extra points Persistant Upgrade, and then use the SVU to get all the Round 1 zombie kills (that'll net you at least an extra 1500 points). Plus the SVU isn't too shabby for killing the witches. Also, you only really need the TS to leap into the courthouse for one of the chalk placements. You can use the giant to just smash the debris for everything else. After you use up the free booze, just buy the rest - the 1000 points you spend to buy the booze, you'll be able to get back (and more) by lining up the giant from far enough away for each of the pieces of debris you smash open; so do that for at least the debris next to the candy shop, the church, and the mansion itself.
  22. Hmm, maybe if you're a higher rank, then you need to make it to a higher round with the Olympia to unlock it? I tried it on Die Rise using only the Olympia up to Round 9 and didn't get anything (I bought ammo for it every round). Must try higher! Thinking about it, it might be that you don't even have to hold on to the Olympia, or only buy it or whatever. Maybe if you simply survived to a high round, and then at some point (say Round 40 or whatever) if you went to go buy the Olympia then it would instead give you a Ray Gun...seems plausible right (cause let's face it, who would normally buy an Olympia off of the wall on a high round?!)
  23. I was getting this upgrade accidentally while trying to get Persistant-Jug and the Perk Cash-Back (I always seem to have real trouble unlocking that one) upgrades on Tranzit. How I got it: Bought QR, died, killed only one zombie with my Mustang & Sally before self-reviving, then knifed about 5 zombies. How I lost it: Getting 1 single pistol kill (lol) Bit of a random one that Double Pistol Points!
  24. Yeah I've yet to lose this upgrade too, and I've died in all varieties of ways now! I'm thinking that you maybe lose it by not buying any perks in low rounds?! So you could maybe try going to round 10 in a few games without buying any perks and seeing if that gets rid of it.
