MrCaffiene82 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Ray Gun Mark II available from the box today I got it from the box on Die Rise and packapunched it. Its a 3 burst round and is very powerful goes through many zombies in one shot. Here is a short video from the box to packapunch and killing a few zombies. It Looks fantastic Link to short video demonstration Link http://youtu.be/59OXmXMWxAo
Ourobos Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 So apparently this was a treyarch boo boo that was hot fixed, and the Mark II is no longer available until after 7-2..
DeathBringerZen Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 People are still reporting being able to get the Mark II from the box AFTER the hotfix (system settings change) on Twitter and the Activision forums. http://community.callofduty.com/message ... #414559052 Think it is here to stay by the looks of things.
Rissole25 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 So can anyone explain it to me? Better than the original? When does it lose its 1 hit ability, etc. Also did anyone try it on Bus Depot? I imagine it will help a lot on that map.
Ourobos Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I got it on Tranzit.. It's a 3 round burst, I think 24 in the mag, 165 in reserve if I'm not mistaken. No splash damage, and from what I can tell it's best used to train the zombies the turn and aim in a straight line into the horde, it goes through them that way. It's unlike the ray gun that I would normally blast 2-3 rounds at their feet, you want body / head shots with this one. I wasn't thinking and left the game after playing with it, I should have packed it to see the difference. Overall I can't say I was impressed like when I first used the Thunder Gun, Wunderwaffle, Vitriolic etc, but definitely is a crowd mover more than a lot of other box weapons.
EvilHERONeos Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 The way it sounds is that it is a better version of Blundergat. Because that just sat crowds of zombies down fairly quickly.
Ourobos Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I'd put it real similar to the blundergat, but more ammo in the magazine .
EvilHERONeos Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Very similar indeed. But if you get Vitrolic Withering and the Mark II, things could be fairly easy on one's troubling zombie times.
