What We Know: Zombie game modes explained.

I've compiled a simple list explaining everything that we know about the new game modes so far. I will continue to update this list as we learn more. Let me know if I missed anything.

TranZit (Story Mode)

    [*:3qj36ow2]1-4 Players[*:3qj36ow2]New "story mode" for Zombies[*:3qj36ow2]4 Brand new characters, which are unique to the TranZit game mode.[*:3qj36ow2]New weapons, as well as returning fan favorites.[*:3qj36ow2]Massive open area game world with interconnected zones. No loading screens or individual maps.[*:3qj36ow2]Your goal in Tranzit is simple: kill all the undead that you come across and leave a trail of bodies in your wake. You and your team jump between a number of locales along the way, doing what appears to be defensive stands and clearing them out before moving on to the next place.[*:3qj36ow2]You can choose to travel from location to location at will via the bus seen in the trailer. You also have the option of making the venture on foot through the fog, but surviving will be difficult.[*:3qj36ow2]TranZit will follow the events of Moon, occuring in a post-apocalyptic world. The story will tie back into the story of our gang on Moon.[*:3qj36ow2]New Zombie types[*:3qj36ow2]Items scattered throughout the world can be collected to make "buildables". Buildables can be used to create weapons, tools, devices, and defensive items as well. Items can also be built to help open other areas of the map.[*:3qj36ow2]The homemade riot shield seen in the trailer is an example of a buildable. The riot shield can be planted into the ground as a means of defense.[*:3qj36ow2]Useful items can be found by traveling through the fog on foot.[*:3qj36ow2]Some weapons will be "based on future tech from the games campaign"[*:3qj36ow2]"There are new wonder weapons that are magical in nature"[*:3qj36ow2]There will be plenty of Easter Eggs hidden throughout the TranZit environment.




Survival (Classic Mode)

    [*:3qj36ow2]1-4 Players[*:3qj36ow2]Original Zombies mode. Last as long as you can against endless hordes of zombies.[*:3qj36ow2]Maps are taken from the world of TranZit, and tweaked so they are suited for classic zombies.[*:3qj36ow2]Play as agents of the CIA and CDC.[*:3qj36ow2]Customized games are possible.[*:3qj36ow2]"Multiple areas" will be available for Survival Mode.

Grief Mode

    [*:3qj36ow2]2-8 Players[*:3qj36ow2]4 vs. 4 vs. Zombies[*:3qj36ow2]In Grief, your only goal is to have your team outlive the other.[*:3qj36ow2]Play as members of the CIA and CDC[*:3qj36ow2]Opposing teams cannot shoot each other.[*:3qj36ow2]Zombies are the only people that can kill you.[*:3qj36ow2]Objective is to "grief" the other team in a variety of ways through the environment around them.[*:3qj36ow2]New game mechanics will be used specifically for Zombie's Grief Mode.
