Possible inspiration of the Thundergun

So I stumbled across this video on Youtube by accident.

The CCCP reference, the shape that is similar to the front end of the Thundergun, and the general action of it... surely this must have been inspiration for the person(s) at Treyarch who designed the Thundergun?

Yeah... There are threads on this from ages ago, but you are correct, this is most likely where Treyarch got the original design.

BTW I would change your title because it's misleading to make people think this is research related ;)
