  1. Thank you for that picture. Will definetly help.
  2. I think making the connection to the acronym was intentional this time. I mean look at the cover art, you can see the initials in the background.
  3. More proof of getting the shovel on round 9. In the video i show its round 9 and i get the stg from the ground. Obviously you need the golden shovel to get a stg from the ground. So even though its not the best quality, theres proof of it. video can be found here
  4. this is true, but i am forced to play local since I dont have xbox live at the moment. Because of this I do not have persistent perks. Or a bank/fridge. This map did become easier over time though. Origins still is my favorite map though.
  5. I think Die Rise is ridiculously easy. If you train in the room with the hole doing the figure eight, then you are good to 70+ then it's all about luck with Max Ammo's. I felt MotD was more challenging. Going round the canteen was tricky sometimes with the windows at the sides and meant you had to be on your toes at all times. Even then, I still took around 7 downs in my round 70. You are right about your earlier point with Die Rise though. Having the Nova Crawler round did give the player something to look forward too and also sped up the process. Most maps do have different things to mix it up, but I feel MotD got the balance perfect, while Buried messed it up by giving too many OP weapons and features that killed the challenge. I just get to cocky when running die rise chains. I get to close to the action and then bam i get hit twice after already taking three hits. And now im in whos who. And then its 60% luck and 40% skill if I get to my trample steam or not. How to revive yourself with trample steam/whos who And then if I dont get there then its game over quickly and sadly. Motd you can screw up about 5 times over three rounds and be a-ok.
  6. My main problem with Buried though is that it is, 1: Far too easy, and 2: It's really boring too. lol. MotD at least was pretty tough. Training the canteen was only easy because of the shield and electric cherry. Without both it would be a nightmare. Having the Redeemer, traps and other various weapons at least allows the option of mixing it up a bit. I know that is also the case for Origins, but I don't like that map. (Sorry BSZ... ) At least you are pointing out the positives also. Some people just scream negatives. But motd was fun for me also. But in my opinion not as difficult as die rise and no where near origins difficulty.
  7. Damn... lol. Ok, if I have to pick one, I would have to say MotD. It was a toss up between that and Die Rise, but I have to give it to MotD for being a little tougher, and also more interesting. I can literally walk to any round I want on Die Rise depending on luck with Max Ammo's, but MotD had a array of things you could use, like the trap, Redeemer, Blundergat, Mark II and more. With Die Rise, it was pretty much the Sliquifier all the way. Yea die rise was my second favorite. And possibly my favorite at times depending on how origins is treating me. But on die rise with the an94, the early 30 rounds are a piece of cake. After that if you are lucky and get the rgm2 you can easily get to whatever round you are skilled enough to get to. I also love the fact that the boss round on doe rise gives you a break every so often and makes the later rounds go by a little faster.
  8. So we all have a favorite map, and when we think about our favorite map many things factor into what makes that map your favorite. Rather it be the memories of the coop games you had with your friends, the boss, the perks, or other things, all of these come to play when figuring out what map is your favorite. Now lets set all those aside and focus on one thing. What is your favorite map to just continuously slay zombies till they take over you and you have no more quick revives left? That is, what is your favorite map to go for a high round on. To keep this simple we will only talk about black ops 2 maps.
  9. It worked for me a couple nights ago.
  10. 500 for the first door leading to speed. 750 for the second door. 1000 and 1250 for the workshop doors. 1000 for stamina but usually you dont have to open those doors because you can see if the dig sites are there. 2250 (maybe 2500 im not sure) for the church doors. That is 7000 points. And then to check the dig sites at the second tank station, just take the path between stamina and the PAP. Follow that all the way down and then you can go into the trenches that lead to the three dig sites there, then go behind the tank station and follow the path back to spawn. And then purchase the 500 door back into spawn to get out of your trapped area. That brings the total to 7500. Easily attainable through digging for points, using your double points, reapairing windows, and killing templar zombies. Only reason i do that is because i try to get the ice staff parts before it stops snowing.
  11. On round 3 solo I have all of the map open.
  12. What is the most memorable moment you have had in black ops ẁ while playing zombies? I have had a lot. But if I had to narrow it down to the most memorable, I think mine would be when I got my shotgun rank. After working a month for it, I finally got it one night.
  13. There is a video showing it in action.
  14. Theres also that to. The earliest I have gotten it is round 10 personally on a solo game. Edit: well it doesnt open all the doors but with 6500 points you can access all the dig mounds.
  15. Im wondering if there is an actual in-game barrier though. You can get to the bridge with the retriever by round 8. I think earlier. But it is impossible to actually get the redeemer by round 10 because it just will not activate. Im wondering if its the same with the shovel. Where no matter how much you dig up, it still will not give you the shovel till round 10.
  16. Quick question. Is it possible to get the golden shovel before round 10? I havent seen anyone with it before then and i personally havent gotten it before then. I know the redeemer on motd is impossible to get before round 10 because of restrictions and im wondering if its the same in this map.
  17. Is this really what mmx was trying to say... that has nothing to do with virtual necrophilia... necrophilia involves dead corpses. An enemy is downed not dead. Be more clear next time mmx. And i never 'tea bag' I might furiously click the crouch button but i do it more of in a dancing way. Virtual necrophilia. I consider that a general life rule, not just in a game of Zombies.... I suppose you're right, especially since it has only been adopted by the immature players who shift from Multiplayer to Zombies when they're bored. It isn't native to Zombies itself. Never heard of such a thing as virtual necrophilia. And after doing some minor research the only thing i could find about it is this article which can be found in the url if you REALLY want to read up on it. And after reading that I dont feel 'tea bagging' would fit under that since again tea bagging in zombies would be upon a down enemy. So yea tea bagging is totally different from this so called virtual necrophillia when it comes to zombies.

  19. I wrote the aggressive Grief guide. viewtopic.php?f=137&t=27651 There is a difference between griefing and just being a total butt hole. Your kind of players are the ones I aim to squish in my Grief games. Crouching on your opponent is not only NOT helpful to winning but it actually puts you in a risky situation. I've killed many a necrophiliac such as yourself. I have never read that guide till now. And most of the things that i said was in the guide. So how am i a bad player for doing the same things you do? Seems hypocritical to me.
  20. I disagree Thou only rule in grief and turned is there thou no rules. (there are no rules in grief/turned) That is bad sportsmanship. It is a terrible way to play. You must be popular. Well, 1. It was a joke. 2. I play to win and I play competively. This means I plat GB matches and have played competitive matches with money on the line. So what does that mean? If there is a doorway that i can block to get the enemy to go down, then i will stand in that doorway. If the mystery box is about to give somebody a good gun, I will throw grenades at it. If I get emps i will emp jug. I will race the enemy to every drop. I will not open doors unless necessary or my teammates need to. I will sacrifice myself if I can cause humiliation by making you also go down. I will knife the crap out of you if you do not go crouch or go prone to revive your teammates. And if you are stupid enough to go prone i will then try to dive on top of you to make you go down. I will win. most of the time And after all is said and done, if I find myself on top and the other team is dead, I will celebrate my victory. If this is something as small as knifing the air, or something like spending the last of my points in packapunching my gun through the fence on town, i will celebrate, but im not going to be a dick about it. I dont know what made you so mad... but i thought we were at least not enemeies  But if you dont like playing that way, thats ok but more than likely you are going to lose or the game will take forever if you try playing the same way you would play a regular game.

  22. "Gosh darn it, I got the SMR!!!!!! And about the monkey thing with the max ammos, i honestly throw them just to have a break from the action. Thou shall not take my hacked mystery box gun unless you are given permission. It is not my fault I cant breath when trying to save points on the surface of the moon :P
  23. So the map has been out for a while now and I think its probably one of the top 5 maps of all time. But that doesn't mean it couldn't be better. So I was thinking why not make a list of things that they could have done to make this map the best ever. I'll go ahead and name some of the ideas I have been thinking of. -When you spawn in, one of the spawn points would be inside the first robot. This would give you the opportunity to pick up the wind staff piece and I think it would just add to the overall wow factor of the spawn. -When you enter the robot, you can stay in there until you get to the end of the robot's path. When you get there you will meet a panzer soldat but you will also see some of the futuristic weapons along the wall. Think of it as the armory in buried. You will have a limited time, probably 30 seconds, to get ammo or a new gun while being chased by a panzer. Maybe DT 2.0 could be here. Any other ideas are welcomed. Maybe someone important will see this and some of the ideas could be implemented into bo3.
