  1. Like I said; a theory. The Giant could even be a huge douche.
  2. I've posted this theory on another forum site, a lot of people seem to think that Richtofen's statement is nothing more than a metaphor, but there are other things that make me think that this is a possibility, Play the Game Central have posted lyrics for a song supposedly from one of the upcoming maps, to me it seems to be describing what could be a dam and the code at the right side of the Mob of the Dead loading screen apparently says "Der Reise is in France" but Der Reise the map was in Germany, but they seem to think that it is supposed to be translated as "The Giant is in France" that is just one more thing that seems to be pointing to a Hydro Electric Dam which would probably be a Giant Dam, but it is just a theory. Power is something that most of the characters in this game seem to be trying to attain, it would not surprise me in the least that they would be trying to obtain power in all its forms.
  3. I don't know if the spelling of FEAR was intentional and I don't know whether they have an intention to spell out RULE or RUSS, but I have a feeling that Russman has a hidden agenda, I think he may have the intention to gain control of the zombies, I just find some of the things that he says are something that you would hear out of the mouth of a sociopath, he seems to also think that everyone is against him, although Marlton would much rather see Russman ripped to shreds than co-operate with him, but I believe Russman feels that more than just Marlton have it in for him.
  4. I apologize, I was wrong, Richtofen does not say this after turning on the power I'd gotten the dialog confused, he says "get this thing to the obelisk before Maxis is a busy little beaver on the dam he built" not after turning the power on but after building the Jet Gun, my excuse; too many games blending together in the brain, I guess that can happen when your memory isn't the best to begin with, add 6500+ miles traveled in game and a little confusion is to be expected.

  6. I am 99% sure that one of our future maps will be a Hydro Electric Dam (Dam of the Damned or Damned Dam not actual names but the ones I came up with) I have no clue what DLC pack it'll be in or what it'll be called but I'm positive that Maxis has built a dam as Richtofen states this and says something along the line of "...dam Maxis has built...to destroy us all..." and I'm sure that we will have to use this dam in some way to repair the rift. But, the proof, in Tranzit Richtofen only speaks to Stuhlinger, we all know this, but it seems to me that everyone kind of ignores Edward, can't blame anyone for that, high pitched douche nozzle, but I digress, immediately after flipping the power switch on, Edward goes on and on about how Stu is the only one who can hear him, and that he needs to build the Jet Gun and to heat up the Obelisk, it's an annoying speech that I've heard a thousand times now, but in this annoying speech is where Richtofen mentions that Maxis has built a Dam to destroy us all, this was all the proof I needed to hear in order for me to be convinced that one of our Future Maps will be a Dam. Powering up the towers is what breaks the cycle the new 4 are in, Mob of the Dead was a type of prequel map establishing that these cycles have been going on for quite a while and that achieving certain goals can break these cycles, but dying just starts the cycle all over again, so once the towers are powered the cycle breaks taking which should then take us to the next map, but since not all DLC is released yet we're forced to continue the cycle until then. When all the DLC is released and all the towers are powered (pure speculation) it'll kick start Maxis' Dam, which will begin creating copious amounts of energy, energy that can be used to either split the rift open even more or to close the rift. And while all this is going on Russman is conspiring behind everyone's backs to try to get into the Aether to take over control of the Zombies from Richtofen. My apologizes for going on and on, but this is all information I've been able to attain through playing the game and having traveled over 6500 miles I'm quite certain that this is how things will play out. Hopefully once this DLC season is over Activision and Treyarch do what EA did with Battlefield 3, which is to support the game for a second year of DLC for our zombie loving asses, which I think they'll give us 3 additional DLC maps, because 5 or 6 maps seems a little lacking since they have an entire globe available to fill up with maps, anyways, I've said my piece, sorry about the length but I do thoroughly enjoy this game.
  7. I think Russman's back story is going to play out soon, he seems to be in the shadows right now with not much about him being known, but he seems to have a subtle but deep hatred within him especially for the younger folks, but the "STOP RUS" sign at the bus depot (Bottom of the B covered in blood or oil) speaks for itself I think. When Pack-a-punching a gun in Tranzit, Russman speaks of how the younger folks are always talking back giving him "sass" and he goes on to say, as if to make a threat; "One day fools", now unless he's planing something this statement seems really out of place, and to me he seems to be really subtle in what he says and the way he says things, but in short; I believe Russman is ultimately trying to gain access to the aether so that he can take over, seems to explain why he'd befriend that douche bag Stu, as Stu is the only one in direct contact with Richtofen who Russman will eventually reveal he is trying to overthrow. I don't know right now my mind is all over the place, I should have called it a night hours ago, but I'm trying to agree with a portion of the back stabbing but what I'm thinking is that it's coming from a different direction in that Russman who for some reason I'm thinking may be "Lucifer" but I don't know why, I probably need some sleep.
  8. For the last few hours I've been scouring the forums here looking for what I want to talk about, I've had no luck finding anything about this. In Tranzit Green Run, playing as Stuhlinger (everyone knows Richtofen only speaks to Stu) but it seems to me that no one is actually listening to Edward. Once the power is turned on, Richtofen goes into his speech about helping him to stop Maxis from completing his plan to destroy us all, and in this speech Richtofen says that Maxis has built a "Dam" that he's trying to power in a certain manner to execute his plan, out of all the stuff I found on these forums no one seems to have noticed this, and if you take this idea and apply it to the Die Rise loading screen you can say that the object in the lower right hand corner, looks as though it "could possibly be" an electric generator, like those found in a Hydro Electric Dam. Now if you take MotD and view it as a prequel map to all of the other maps, and in it we basically discover that all of the events are taking place in some sort of dimensional space time rift, in which we have a choice to make to either continue the cycle or break the cycle. Now given that we're in a cycle, we apply that to the BO2 maps Green Run and Great Leap Forward, in which we power up these towers for either Maxis or for Richtofen and also for possible teleportation purposes via Nav cards, thus breaking said cycle and moving on to the next map. If we are powering these towers for Maxis or for Richtofen to complete their schemes, in which one of these must be to close the rift, we will require massive amounts of electrical energy, what would give us more power than a Hydro Electric Dam, aside from a power plant, which a Dam is essentially a power plant. Now hopefully once all the maps are released we'll get to go back to the maps where we powered the towers and maybe we'll get more steps to do for these easter eggs and maybe Trollarch will do what EA did with Battlefield 3 and continue their support for the game for a second year bringing out only Zombies maps, I'd buy another season pass for a second year of support for Zombies especially since once this season pass expires we may only have as many as 5 or 6 maps total, but yet the level selection screen is the "ENTIRE" globe, 5 or 6 maps for a "world" of possibilities seems a little lacking to me. Anyways I've said my piece, I just couldn't find anyone else making these conclusions.
  9. Just to throw this out there, the Nova Crawlers were technically a "Boss Zombie" in a matter of speaking along with the Hell Hounds, variations of the Crawlers were featured in Kino, Moon and Die Rise, can't remember if they were in any other maps, but probably were, and the Hell Hounds are in few as well, I just think people should remember that these were also meant to be a kind of boss type entity
  10. I happened to notice out the back window of the bus, when you could have indestructible items before they patched it, I had the bus fortified with an electric trap, gun turret and a turbine, and with all the smoke and sparks flying everywhere, I arrived at the bus depot, I caught a quick glimpse of the car that is resting on its side, but at the time I saw it so fast that all I noticed was the rust pattern, and it looks so much like a horse in profile looking out towards the light in the sky, which at first is at the diner, so..... I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I do believe that maybe the horse
  11. I've heard him say that; sounds to me as though it's a play on words, Die Rise, little bit too close to High Rise, China sounds like a good place to have a towering building of some sort, not long now till we find out.
