  1. From what it looks like to me Mob of the Dead has no proper setting. Once Al is killed and the the other 3 killed after it seems like they are sent into some sort of Limbo by the Zombie Leader. A place that doesn't exist in the real world. The zombies don't exist, Brutus doesn't, nothing but the guys do. And they keep reenacting the events except with one difference. Al keeps his memories from across reiterations. This eventually leads to him killing them instead of the other way around. Thus he lives through this Limbo and possibly lives in the real world. Clearly the Zombie Leader wants Al alive, otherwise he wouldn't keep Al's memories intact and end the cycle when he lives. The fact that Zombies don't attack him at the end just furthers this theory. Roughly the same as what others are saying just I don't think things are happening in the real world. If you look at the intro, once the color comes in the prison changes from being clean and nice to Mob of the Dead. I believe that the beginning with no color is the real events. Once the color comes in it's Limbo or wherever it is.
  2. Best place is on the other side of the gate at Jug if you don't open it. Between the room with the generators and the spiral room. Only one direction for zombies to come from, room to move around and back up to, close to Zombie Shield, Juggernog, and Tommy Gun, escape route in extremely dire situations. Best camping spot in Zombies history.
  3. So with the achievement list we get these 3 that are extremely cryptic: No one Escapes Alive In Mob of the Dead, Execute the escape plan Making the Rounds In Mob of The Dead, complete the cycle 3 times. Pop goes the Weasel In Mob of the Dead, break the cycle. People are latching onto different things about these 3 but we can all agree they are about the easter egg. So I'm going to throw in my 2 cents about it. No one Escapes Alive is easy enough to figure out, build the plane and fly off the island. However I do not think this will end the game, it will reset it. You need to remember back in the other maps there were always 2 plans to execute, Maxis' and Richtofen's, in this case it is the Mobster's plan, and the Zombie Leader's. By Zombie Leader I'm refer to whoever is controlling the zombies making their eyes red. If we look back at Die Rise's opening cutscene we see that the Zombie Leader, Richtofen in that case, can reset the survivors if he is displeased with them. The cycle refered to is leaving the island without doing what the Zombie Leader wants you to so he resets the match. Thus Making the Rounds is to complete the plane and "escape" 3 times in one match. Lastly, Pop goes the Weasel. Simple, break the cycle by doing what the Zombie Leader wants (Probably to Charge a Tower) and then build the plane and escape. And Al "The Weasel" Arlington is the guy who the Zombie Leader will be speaking to, being this group's "Samuel".
  4. No doubt there's new ones, why can't they just say it? Now we have to take weeks doing god knows what to find them.
  5. Zombies uses a mathematical system to always increase zombie health and numbers. I don't know about numbers but health starts at 150, increases 100 each round until 10. From 10 on health for the next round is the previous round's health x1.1.
  6. The "challenge" is simple enough to understand. Play a game of Zombies any map doesn't matter which, and don't hold any crawlers and don't run circles. Players are so damn afraid, I played a game once with some randoms who seemed deathly afraid of the Zombies. They absolutely refused to go anything unless we were holding a crawler. I've also heard a ton of complaints on how TranZit is boring because it takes forever to do anything, well don't hold crawlers and see how different your view becomes. Also there are so many people who are so proud that they've made it to round 100+ on this or that map. Well that's cool I guess but let me ask you something. How long did it take and how boring was it? Answers: Forever and extremely. The reason is none other than running circles. You are LITERALLY walking in circles for sometimes weeks in these ridiculous games. I've watched videos of people doing it saying they were bored and didn't want to. Well that sounds like the most fun. Here's what you got to do, Find a good spot to hold out and kill as many as you can. Sure you will only make it to round 30 something but it's a lot faster paced and a lot more fun. After a simple 2 hour game I feel mentally drained. It's a ton of fun. And before any of you whiney babbies say "So no circles means that if there are zombies surrounding me I should just stand there and take it?" I know you're thinking it, you know the difference between weaving between zombies and running circles. Don't give me any of that crap. Give it a try, you might actually find some enjoyment out of playing zombies rather than work. The reason I call it a "challenge" is because this is how zombies is supposed to be played. No doubt about it. The only reason making crawlers is still possible is because of the easter eggs. And the only reasons circles are still possible is because if they were to alter the ai to make circles impossible then camping would also be impossible.
  7. NO NO NO NO NO NO! I hated them putting Mule Kick on every map, the idea is for the maps to be DIFFERENT. Not different shapes. I guess we should find a way to fit 10 perk machines,Pack-A-Punch, teleporters, the hacker, turbines, and special zombies on Nacht der Untoten.
  8. That is ridiculous, you know there's a limit on how big a dlc file can be right? That is WAY too much to put in. They'll probably bring back some maps, Der Riese, Moon, Ascension. But not all of them, there's no way.
  9. Probably losing the headshot damage, It definitely has something to do with not getting headshots, not sure just yet though.
  10. Excellent find ChopperNator. I thought that there might be a way to keep it passed 15, but now I need to test something else. If you buy jug at 16+ and still have perma-jug then do you lose perma-jug? Testing, testing, testing.
  11. Finally, some one who understand my thirst for heads. 31969 headshots. 70667 kills. 45% baby! Two birds with one stone. 1237 kills, 989 headshots, 80% headshot ratio. Over 400 headshots in one game. (dark blue please) round 15. 292 kills, 292 headshots. Sorry for the horrible quality.
  12. I've run some additional testing on the Perma-Jug. It appears that you only need X amount of downs in solo to get it, it's just that the flash doesn't occur until revived unless you die and end the game. Also debunked a bunch of other theories on how it's lost. Not lost from multiple downs in one round. (Unless I didn't go down enough times, but I went down 5 times in 1 round so I'd say it's safe to say it doesn't.) Not lost from dying from falling damage or from dying while having Jug and Perma-Jug. I also say it's safe to say that it's just lost at 15. I played a game with Perma-Jug and never got Jug, made it to 15 and lost it.
  13. Agreed, people were expecting more TranZit mode maps. It really is story mode. Green Run is the map, Survival, Grief, Turned and Story are the game modes. The story mode level is called Tranzit, the second Story mode level, Die Rise, is on the map Great Leap Forward. At least that's how I look at it.
  14. There are a few videos out there showing people getting and using it, none of them know how it's lost. That's the reason I made this thread.
  15. You did get the free perk, watch your video carefully. You can see it go into the elevator.
  16. What you got there was the Carpenter upgrade. You always get 2000 points for knifing all of the Minions. Sorry nothing new here.
  17. This is very interesting. Please post your findings here comrade. A thread I made solely for discovering upgrades. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=28010
  18. Yeah, you have to kill the zombie while the carpenter is repairing.
  19. Excellent work killbaoy1537. This is exactly why I made this thread. I can confirm that there is definitely a Carpenter Pro Persistent Upgrade. It is obtained by killing a zombie that is pulling downs boards while a carpenter is active. And it does indeed make carpenters put steel boards on all the windows. It must be picked up by the player with upgrade, a teammate without it will not put up steel boards if you have it. I don't know how it's lost just yet but I will look into it. Props to killbaoy1537 for finding and sharing this.
  20. True it's not the easiest thing in the world to revive yourself, but if your double gets downed you can still be revived by teammates and keep your perks with no consequence.
  21. Man how many forums threads are there of this exact thing? Not enough I think. Enviromune Mixer priced at 2000 makes you immune to all enviromental effects, like the flaming cracks in Green Run, the icy water in CotD, the mud in Shangri-La, Low gravity and no air in Moon. Price Pop priced at 4000 gives you a 20% discount on everything you buy. Sponsor Shake priced at 4000 gives you a "sponsor". Every 50 points you get with a gun gives you 1 bullet with the exception of shotguns wonder weapons. Shotguns give 1 shot for 150, wonder weapons can't give ammo. Copy Cola priced at 4000 allows you to get a "copy" of a perk. Say the perk logo would be white, once you have it you can buy another perk that will replace it. However the symbol would be white instead of what color it normally is. It would give a boost to any perk. So if you have jug and a copy of jug instead of 6 hits you are 7. Double tap would increase rate of fire from 133% to 150%. However you must get a real version of the perk to be able to get a copy.
  22. What do you guys think of Who's Who? I'm curious because personally I love it and hate it at the same time. On one hand it is amazing, I was able to save a game with it once when everyone was downed and I got myself up, killed the horde and got my buddies up. Awesome, but that is why I dislike it at the same time. It's too good. I liked Tombstone because that made a sacrifice, you have to die to keep your stuff. But with Who's Who there's literally no down side to it. The only thing would be that your teammates aren't notified of when you go down until your double does and that you can't crawl with your real body. Those are really negligable though since you have another body running around to create a distraction for your teammates. And it's only 2000, something that great needs to be at least 3500. The only balancing factor in it is that if you are using the free perks from the Minions and you get over 4 perks then you can't get another Who's Who until the next Minion round. Which I feel does a decent job of balance but it still seems a little overpowered.
