  1. I like the idea of it being destroyed right after the sirens.
  2. BS, can you post that video? I'd like to see it and it's not working now.
  3. This seems intentional to me, a secret to be discovered put there by the devs to help you find the mound. Pretty slick, and why it doesn't work with grenades or other explosive weapons. I would still like to see a video of it in action though.
  4. I know this to be true, but can anyone point to some proof of this, like a video about it? I remember seeing one by Relaxing, or Tom K, or Mato or someone, but can't find it now.
  5. I put them all (oops forgot Tranzit post card) into a slideshare. Make it full screen and use your arrow keys to go through each page. http://www.slideshare.net/schnuerle/comic-27495387 Feel free to "save" it and modify it any way you'd like.
  6. You should probably try to get all the images directly from the texture files so they are high res.
  7. It looks like this video was just stolen from this video!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy626xF1qsI I left a comment on both. BSZombie, I saw your comment, so I subscribed to your channel :)
  8. Really the credit should be going to YourMapper and this site. Hey thanks! Well if he's going to quote verbatim and get a screenshot from this site, then he certainly needs to credit CoDZ Forum. That's pretty douchy. If he credits me that's fine, but although I was the first to get it, it's really not that hard to figure out, so lots of other people would have gotten it very soon after me anyway. Though I guess he did screenshot what I typed, so that's kind of lame. Anyway, lets all go leave comments .
  9. Ha, I just had to say it out of disappointment. I would have bought them up if they were at all related to the game, instead of just putting the logo on the box. It's like they just recycled other things they had to make this set. Is there anything there that's actually from the game? Thanks for the post telling us about it though, Alpha.
  10. Wow those look horrible. No N4? Moveable hay bales and sand bags? Zombies that don't even look like BO2 zombies? Transit farm (the bus station and/or bus would have been better).
  11. All those times I went down on purpose on round 1 over and over in Tranzit to get quicker revive persistent upgrade... I'm screwed.
  12. I think you are also right that this cabin is a reference to the Evil Dead cabin. There's no way you can look at it and not think of ED. Another obvious connection I forgot about. Nice!
  13. Check out Jimmy Z's comments on twitter about rank. Seems to only be about downs and high rounds. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=37105
  14. Code for something or troll? Looks like it's about the ranking system. https://twitter.com/ZielinskiJimmy/stat ... 7038191616 Translation attempt by me...
  15. Ha, I remember that now, and of course thought of ED2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wIZp_E2CxQ&t=54s
  16. I think Evil Dead 1 was the first horror movie I saw. I think I was 8. Sheesh. Yeah I'm a big fan of his. I got Bruce's signature on an Army of Darkness movie poster I got from a theater I worked at the summer it came out when he was touring around for Brisco County Jr. Nice guy. True, BUUUUUUUT (Evil Dead fanboy incoming) - in Evil Dead: Army of Darkness, they change that around. No longer is Ash hailed as "Hero from the Sky", in fact he is put in chains and sentenced to death. Not until he proves himself with his boomstick is he sent on his quest to vanquish evil. You are right. In ED2 the final quote of the movie comes from an armored man when Ash dropped from the sky with his car and shot the head off a flying Deadite with his boomstick: "All hail he who has come from the skies to deliver us from the terrors of the Deadites!" But as soon as ED3 started he was chained up and taken prisoner and mistaken for an enemy group lead by Henry (really this makes little sense based on the end of ED2). Over the course of the movie, he steps up, dons some armor, saves the castle with his boomstick, chemistry skills, and armored Deadite chopper car. Then he's finally a hero, and they tell him how to get back to his own time with a potion and an incantation.
  17. Alpha pointed this out on the thread about the etching. Hail to the King was a zombies Avenge Sevenfold song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DelhLppPSxY And the final words in Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3) are... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAqq11HYMsk
  18. Ha this is great Alpha! I forgot about the Hail to the King Song. Final words in Army of Darkness: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAqq11HYMsk
  19. As a big fan of both Evil Dead and Nazi Zombies, I can't help but notice similarities between the two, ever since Nacht der Untoten. I thought I'd put some comparison images together and see if you all noticed other similarities. First in Nacht, there is the beginning of the chalk outlines on weapons. Here's the same thing in Evil Dead 2. Now skip ahead to Origins. Maxis could have made 'copies' of his own staves, that were sent into the past with the O4. The O4 went back in time with the staves when they entered the portal at the end of the side quest. They were welcomed as powerful heroes, knighted as Templars, and then sealed off the evil until Maxis uncovered it again in WW1, Then Maxis recovered his own now broken staves during WW1, and created 'copies' of them. Possible the O4 returned to the present somehow and Richtofen erased their memories of all this. The same thing happens in Evil Dead. In the final scene of ED2, where Ash is sent back in time with modern weapons, hailed as the Hero from the Sky, 'knighted', then vanquishes the evil (though he didn't do a very good job, like he foreshadows in an earlier comment , and returns to the present time. The parallels are astounding. The found etching pieces in Origins match up visually to the end of ED2 as well. And even Tank, who of the O4 is most like Ash, is posed in exactly the same way that Ash posed. This similar plotline can give us insight into how Origins happened and how the time loop can work.
  20. Maxis could have made copies of his own staves, that were sent into the past with the O4. The O4 went back in time with the staves when they entered the portal at the end of the side quest. I still can't help but think it's a tribute to Evil Dead, just like the chalk drawings begun in Nacht were a tribute. These images show the final scene of ED2, where Ash is sent back in time with modern weapons, hailed as the Hero from the Sky, then vanquishes the evil (though he didn't do a very good job, like he foreshadows), and returns to the present time: Click for full image. I can't believe this forum doesn't have a resize image code. http://i.imgur.com/bM2GE1I.png http://i.imgur.com/LgVCPf3.png http://i.imgur.com/uTf45it.png
  21. Hey, that's all cool. I was just asking what was different. I can't tell!
  22. Well I thought Mato camped almost entirely and Relaxing ran in the middle, where the Tank usually stops. I'll ask them when I next speak to them. Here's Relaxing doing it a few weeks ago in a speed run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twxfjoIHRfU And Mato's Round 115 world record run a month ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R438rODevdk
  23. Can't find it either. Wonder if they change the gun material and lighting in places, not the texture.
  24. I took a stab at piecing it together from the hacked up texture file. Here's what I got. The A4 look pretty clear here. http://i.imgur.com/ovZLSu5.png And a 200% sharpened version of just them.
