  1. I would like to be considered for this position. While I was not a member of the old site, I have been a fan and major player of zombies for several years, and an active member of this site for over a year. I have a wealth of experience in this kind of position, I was a co-admin of the Colbert nation from 2006-2010, managing its 15,000 + member community, actively fostering growth. I also know how to run successful community events and contests from my experience there (I organized more than I care to think about), and know how to run a site from the back-end. I love zombies to an absurd amount, I scarcely go a day without severally games, which is by I joined this site to begin with. I am familiar with most of the theories, in addition to forming several of my own. In context of running the site, I'm in my mid twenties and financially able to back the hosting duties as well (I haven't donated as much as I probably should have this far). I have developed a few websites myself, and know how to tap into the massive well of creativity we have here as well. I would love a chance to be a bigger part of this site, just give me a chance!
  2. early on you say the japanese found a "rocket", what you meant was "rock" Also 935 was a multinational organization, not German. I agree that this is basically the "consensus" theory, but a lot is contradictory or doesn't make sense (for example, Porter and Maxis making the ray gun prototype, then how could the Porter's ray gun be in development? The finalized ray gun would have come from SSN, and their reverse engineered version would be the x2).
  3. I expanded my first map and updated the OP. I'm heading out of town this weekend so I hope to complete this map by Tuesday
  4. I started, but I may need help with this one. I started with Nacht der Untoten, but it took me 2 hours to map out just the first room. I shall now share it with you guys: This may look simple, and you might scoff at first. However, this map is accurate to 1 foot, and it is scaled exactly 10 pixels per foot. Red are the windows, blue are wall guns, dark green is Mule Kick, grey is purchasable barriers, and yellow is a transition to another floor. This will be a long-running project of mine, and I hope it helps. I also welcome help, but only under the condition that the maps are PERFECTLY detailed. I want to one day have a full set of floorplans for every map, detailed to the foot, all perfectly scaled. What would make this go EXPONENTIALLY faster is if someone with a PC version of the game with noclip was able to give me aerial screenshots, rather than having to fill up several pages of measurements per room. So if someone can help me with this project, I would love it. *This does not count the loading screens of Verruckt, Shi no Numa, or Der Riese, which I will put here for reference. I have also found this one of Ascension: here:http://thegeeksftw.com/2011/02/07/black-ops-ascension-strategy/ There are a couple other ones that I've seen for Kino (always based around the Box map) and FIVE, but the quality was basically unusable for anything other than figuring general shape At the end I hope to use some of these to determine some optimal running strategies and for people to use when making guides
  5. Edit: I'll leave this post for all the maps once they're finished, for a description of this thread, scroll down to my second post. I have found that I can't find ANY* area plans for any of the maps, so I need to rectify this situation. All maps here are scaled to 1.5 ft to 10 pixels, accurate to 1 foot. Elevation is not accounted for, but all obstacles are. If you see a path, you can move through it. LEGEND: Black: impenetrable wall Grey: Purchasable barrier Red: Zombie breakable window/wall Blue: Purchasable Weapons Green: Perk Machine Yellow: Transition to another floor Cyan: Traps Bright Green: Switches Current maps: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt Spawn Nacht Der Untoten Without writing Without writing Verruckt Without writing Without writing Shi no Numa Without writing Next project: Shi no Numa spawn bottom floor
  6. Dragons: In Asia, dragons look like serpents And you are asking the wrong questions, and getting the wrong answers. We are in Asia for this, that much is clear by the zombie models and being called "Shangri La" so.... what the hell is Mayan writing doing there? They were on the other side of the planet, with no possible known cultural exchange. Richtofen wouldn't have been behind this, but whatever created the MPD could have.
  7. I see what you're getting at, it does look very similar. Despite this, it's still way too big, it wouldn't even be a dot on the moon. Also, since when has Griffin station been yellow? Interesting, though. While I am inclined to agree, I'm not sure what else to make of it. It could be giant pits for the extraction of 115 (Maxis would have needed quite a bit to fill up those rockets), but the massive size of the moon, the obvious discoloration, and Griffin Station are most likely related. Because of the massive size of the Excavators present, it leads me to believe there was some sort of giant project going on by the remnants of 935, and the discoloration is evidence of that.
  8. I frequently play with the controller behind my head for extended periods of time, but this is a bit much. I tried playing on the treadmill a few times, but having to think fast with an FPS can lead to some unpleasantries while running
  9. "element 115" may also not be referring to its periodic table number, rather a code name. Might not even be an element, but a compound.
  10. yea, the models were reused, but that was on purpose. I believe those models were used to show exactly what time we're in.
  11. that does not mean it is laziness. They developed zombie models for the other Moon zombies, and they aren't really known for missing details like that. Perhaps, but the EE is called Richtofen's Grand Scheme, which is what you get after the completion of Cryogenic Slumber Party. The second half of the EE isn't Richtofen
  12. yes, I don't know about large doses but they must reanimate with 115 exposure
  13. actually this thread I was trying to prove that the earth was not destroyed at the end of Moon
  14. 115 is used to re-animate a corpse
  15. radios, they talk about bringing up people to kill near the MPD to activate it
  16. I don't think so. I know thats what it said but it doesn't make sense. They even went out of their way to put corpses on the moon
  17. Moon from Ascension: ENHANCE! It is a clear discoloration in a strange shape. My current understanding is that the lower ball is the biodome, the darker one is the spawn room, and the two offshoots are the tunnels.
  18. I don't believe I alleged that it killed humans. 115 may kill zombies in prolonged doses, but based on absolutely everything we know about 935 it is used in their construction as well.
  19. it was a discolored section (yellowish green, I believe). You can see a cluster of small something, in hindsight it is the Station.
  20. I never noticed it on Nacht until recently, but on Ascension I know it has always been that size. If you look at it with a sniper you can actually see Griffin Station in a discolored bit, there was a lot of talk at the time of Moon being a future zombie map. But most people thought that was dumb
  21. or it could mean that they are puppets in the context of being controlled by Maxis, and the "legs" could be in the context of when Richtofen was briefly working on the zombies project. Or, more likely, she doesn't understand herself how this all works. Absolutely not. Zombies were created by group 935, they were a group created to study the effects and applications of 115. They were created with 115.
  22. the one he shows in the JFK picture looks a bit closer, but upon closer inspection its the same symbol, but blurrier and with a bit of lens flare.
  23. I've also had Porter and the pentagon theories, or at least other members of 935 and the pentagon. I looked into NERVA, while it is interesting the logos are not the same (or even that close). I am finding a lack of good pics, so I took some myself. There's the one on the breast pocket you are referring to and a more trippy one I took just as I got hit: which appears on about half of the zombies on moon (the other half being shirtless) It also appears on the PES: and on some other crap lying around: Now, you have NERVA: ENHANCE! Side by side: They are very different logos, the Moon zombies are not part of Project Nova. Since the logo is found on the PES as well as other things lying around, I believe it is simply the logo Richtofen adopted for use with Griffin Station. I see no evidence of the Americans actually reaching Griffin Station.
  24. its Porter's x2 wave gun, which I understood as being developed by Porter under Richtofen at Griffin Station. I'll look into that other thing
  25. I believe what is implied is that the telescope was developed at Area 51 decades before it went into service, and was being used to investigate the moon base. this is a bit out-there theory of mine, but I think that living organisms might not be able to teleport very well. I don't know if the Americans ever actually got their teleporter working, I have very serious doubts since we don't see any signs of them in Griffin Station (that I am aware of). I think that certain... modifications must be done on a living being to teleport them effectively, otherwise they are grotesquely transformed (fluffy) or lost in the Aether (Richtofen's first teleportation, possibly Yuri dealing with a Gersch device, possibly Maxis). The exposure to 115 in each of those characters would allow them to be transformed or aether-ized rather than outright killed (as happened with other test subjects) I think that the experiments Richtofen had been doing on Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Sam enabled them to teleport safely and effectively. The reason the teleporter was at Area 51 was to attempt to scale up the pentagon portal projects with a massive teleporter of their own, but I see no signs that it was functional. Only zombies created from corpse exposure to 115.
