  1. But its still optional. I get what you're saying friendo, but the end game isn't being forced onto you either. Having a cutscene after dying doesn't sound very...linear in terms of story? Like, we're so story-driven that we concluded us dying in game and being able to relive (replay) the experience is torture for the in-game characters because they are being revived constantly out of the controller's amusement. It's not a popular concept but that's how are we go into this. Cheap isn't necessarily adding an ending that is completed upon an Easter Egg. Cheap is paying for those maps that ultimately waste our time and money for unthoughtful, poorly executed, illogical ideas due to the so-called "broad story". Maybe I'd like to end the game after working so hard on a story/game event and see something spectacular rather than kamikaze myself into a crowd of zombies. We have mastered the art of slaying. Let's face it - we are invincible in Zombies to the point where only we can end the game, not the zombies.
  2. I always favored and end-game that took several, several steps before reaching it. Personally, I absolutely loved how Mob of the Dead "ended", because you still had no clue what happened and it gave creative options other than dying by a zombie. People only bashed end games because of what they entailed afterwards rather than the quality in what led up to that map finale.
  3. When we went through the forum conversion, we lost a few awards along the way (and that's to happen again as we are bound for a new forum upgrade in a few).
  4. Welcome back, friendo! Lots of things have changed since you were last around, and it's always good to have a returning and outstanding member in the ranks again. Hope to see you around more often again - it's gonna be story time soon ol' pal.
  5. Killing one child non-explicitly like Walking Dead did was a great move for a pilot episode, because it showed that WD could get away with it to a degree. But to have that in a Zombies game would only be bad for publicity purposes. Think about all those raging non-gamers! And yeah, as Mocking said, killing zombies as children just doesn't sound all too exciting, especially since it's just two normal, little kids that aren't expected to curse or make degrading comments that we've come to love.
  6. @Black Hand Smith An ambiguous situation no doubt, but if our own community went to their videos, called it out for being false info and flagged the vid(s), then yes we are responsible. At the same time, however, that's more of a service to the overall Zombies community than attacking a channel.
  7. If it is brought to our attention, we will try to deal with it. But from what I recall, there is a large, already-existing Skype chat labeled as "CoDz Members Chat" or something like that from when I used to be in it. That was created by the members, for the members. As staff, we have no validation nor control over that group since it technically is not officiated by us. Should someone from CoDz be bullying another CoDz member in that chat relating to what was said/done in CoDz at all, then please bring it up with us. Just bear in mind we have very, very minimal involvement with Skype.
  8. Death by a failed frag bouncing back at you while red-barred.
  9. @Ben115Zombies See what happened here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/178522-future-zombies-treyarch-hints-from-dice-chat/page-18 Again, it's not to intimidate nor belittle you. Most of the community tries to avoid any potential mishap of false information. I understand that this is not the way to treat new users right off the bat, so I do apologize for that inconvenience. But in the meanwhile, please take note of what is happening. Negative situations cannot be avoided especially when the entire Zombies community has been tainted to a degree by misinformers.
  10. Take no offense, friendo. We come across several people every pre-release of a new Treyarch title about some false information regarding Zombies. Most of them blatantly spread lies just to get attention, while others are misled by popular YouTubers (of which are also spreading around their own "ideas" as false information). If you come across something like this again, be wary of where you get your information from. If you learned about some potential news leading to Zombies, it's best to just share the source you got it from; otherwise, if you say "well this is gonna happen" with no credibility, specific sources, or anything, then people will be quick to assume that you're one of the common liars.
  11. And the hint was? I can't remember there is youtuber who talked about it so I just accepted it. He had evidence I'm pretty sure. If you go into your YouTube video history, you should be able to find it.
  12. I just hope we get a Zielinski! Speaking of Zombies, I forgot when Black Ops 2's reveal came around. I know it's been discussed to death in this thread but (seeing as 19 pages is a long way to go especially at work), could anyone be a dear and tell me the month range that it was revealed at least?
  13. @Black Hand Smith A name is coincidental to a very large degree. My name is Danny, but does that mean I'm called that because of Danny Trejo? No - it's just coincidence. Nobody knows about Kino's "Abigail" connection other than that it was probably the name of a child that Samantha befriended at the theater during the 115 projects. People tried linking it up to Misty but there is just no common ground nor shred of evidence whatsoever. The Russman thing with Brock is weird, and considering that it was hidden in the file archives of the game itself, probably means it was not for our eyes to see. Even then, we can't find any evidence nor connection between the two people whatsoever. Everyone uses 1-1-5 for everything; Mob of the Dead just proved that Element 115 was not the cause of this purgatory. That is just an allusion, not a connection. But having blood vials with three numbers followed by a letter, and being that those are two of the MotD inmate numbers that you actually punch into the volt meters for an Easter Egg step, it's clear as day that this was not a coincidence unlike the statements you just made. You can't argue with a fact like that. And yes, it is a fact that those numbers match up to the prisoner IDs. The only thing that is not fact is whether they are the blood of those specific inmates. But there's enough evidence about that than what you just mentioned and combined.
  14. A very interesting introduction ya got there, friendo! Anyhoo, welcome to this crazy family of ours and we are happy to have you as a part of it. Enjoy your stay and happy slayin'!
  15. @Black Hand Smith But the problem is, how coincidental can you get with two ID combinations matching those EXACTLY? It's such a ridiculously small chance, and they wouldn't "accidentally" put those numbers on there for no good reason, y'know?
  16. I remember when that was brought up. I even tried drawing in the format of Stan Lee's comic books but it's just too damn difficult to replicate that old-fashioned sketching, and heaven knows that I can even draw a face.
  17. You mean Photoshop? People have been getting very good about creating "leaked" images; in fact, they look really nice and professional compared to how they used to be. Unfortunately, those designers never understood how Treyarch does their designs and that creates several, several errors and inconsistencies despite the obvious.
  18. Throw something with World at War's dark sense of urgency and dread, mix Black Ops's rich historical context with conspiracies and puzzling dark connections, and sprinkle just a bit of Black Ops 2's gameplay ingenuity with equipment, and voila - you have the ultimate Zombies experience. But seriously, the old days of Black Ops make my heart sadden. I remember staying up late during summer nights after work to crush zeds while blasting some Staind on my radio. Nothing ever beats going for the 40's on Moon or completing Easter Eggs for hours on end just for the excitement.
  19. Definitely a uniform that doesn't match what Richtofen wore. You can see where the arm and shoulder would be; however, Origin Richtofen work a white rolled-up shirt with a tan vest. This smudged shot shots a fully tan arms with no indication of a white shirt whatsoever. I'm inclined to believe that it was one of the others thrown on there, but then smudged to make us THINK that it was Richtofen. After all, he was erased from everything else...unless this person that's being erased is totally someone different that Richtofen actually replaces. If that's the case, then Richtofen removed someone from this timeline and inserted himself into the equation, giving life to the Zombies we've come to know.
  20. Check the other posts before you about the login. It's not the same login as your current CoDz one. And it will be the new site when released. This is just how the frontpage [kinda] looks, with some more edits along the way. @Hells Warrrior busted his ass to make this possible.
  21. The only useful thing of the HD screen, but... I do not understand anything, it could also be in Vietnamese. French? I think of Origins automatically, as that was in Bar-le-Duc, Northern France. Lorraine Franconian (Lorraine Franconian: Plàtt, lottrìnger Plàtt; French: francique lorrain, platt lorrain; German: Lothringisch) is a designation, in practice ambiguous, for dialects of West Central German (German: Westmitteldeutsch), a group of High German dialects spoken in the Moselle département in the north-eastern French region of Lorraine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorraine_Franconian
  22. Congratulations to you friendos! You all have deserved it very much, and I'm super proud of you guys. As new Legends, we expect only the (further) best of you guys.
  23. 1. Afterlife symbols...will we see them return once more? This ties in to #8. 2. Hard to tell what that sketch is of. Looks like the tip of a pylon but it's too dark and small to define. 3. Perk-a-Cola bottle caps. 4. It's the same comic boom page with the ad listings from Moon's loading screen, where you also see Phd Flopper. 5. The MPD lock/dial on Moon. 6. Vietnamese translation and DANGER/DEATH, as mentioned several times before. 7. That cursive writing is on its on parchment sheet. I am horrible at reading cursive, but I can only make out "of the". 8. A drawing of what appears to be a mushroom cloud rising above the surface of Earth...or is it? It looks more like the Moon, with the Earth faintly to the right side of it. In fact, the mushroom clouds doesn't seem to be attached to the moon. Why have these drawings in separate locations? Also, note that this is on the same paper as the afterlife symbols, and the parchment itself looks to be quite old like Mob of the Dead's loading screen. Is there a connection?
  24. Welcome to the family, friendo! I love seeing super enthusiastic members joining us, and it's a pleasure to have you in our community. Enjoy your stay and happy slayin'!
