  1. This happened during the pap ritual (the 5th/last). I couldn't find a cure for it after that, but the game glitched and ended, so i guess it wasn't meant to be.
  2. I hope so. On the gateworm placement: i did Floyd and he said nothing at all on the last gateworm. The game was quiet at the time also, not that the characters mind saying 3 sayings at once. --------- I did more searching on the blocked cocoon step. Apparently the decrypterfixer post isn't real. The step isn't repaired, it is still functioning improperly. Last known information: the trigger to begin the cocoon step is blocked. It was never removed, that was bad wording that has persisted. It is still blocked. After 3 months and limitless trials, it seems that Treyarch simply failed the community again. So sad, so predictable.
  3. Ha-ha. The virus in full effect: us, walking around the map, looking through that little shield window. I think that's a worse idea than running around with a thermal and looking at everything. Sadly, I'll try both... And laugh at myself as i do. Edit: and we can't forget to do it in Noire mode... (Feeling feverish).
  4. I need 50 more FW kills for the challenge, then I'm going to try them all out some more. Rumor has it that Dead Wire and Lucky Crit is a 1-2 round fun time. I still doubt it's worth using lucky crit, but I'll check it out. And lastly, i constantly hear BF proc when i shoot Margwas, but it never does anything, even if he's surrounded by zombies. I am glad that dead wire is actually usable now. Still not the best, but i love variety.
  5. I've been watching this glitch, and I'm experiencing it right now. I think what is causing it is a jump at the wrong time (possibly a teleport can do it too). If you jump right as the shaking should end, it glitches. It just happened on the pap ritual, the margwa didn't fix it. I'm trying to find some other way to stop it. I think that that is the cause, I'll keep watching, please check this out and give feedback as well.
  6. I often think 'i should grab every tank to see what happens'. Times attempted: zero. When i first got the game, i often saw many tanks in one area, so i thought we would be boosting around the map as part of the easter egg. I could see it in my mind's eye, i was sure this was a thing... Originally, it seemed like they all spawned in the same district, but that's not quite correct. I'm going to look closer at them, then try to use them all in one game. We've got to be missing something. Too many things point towards the upgrade. Even I can't really imagine Treyarch fucking us over with no upgrade. We've had it, the leaderboard are full of players who used it, and at this point, "Treyarched" has become a popular and well deserved word in modern day lexicon as a synonym for being shit on, they need to change that, they need to start earning respect instead of earning more disdain. Oops, the 83457 escaped again, ha.
  7. On 360, there is one alcove on the right side only (by the sword/egg holder). Put the arch ovum in there. Hee. I've tried trip mines, AS shots, sword kills, upgraded Arnies... I've abused that poor sword holder.
  8. That was a Civil Protector glitch on SoE that they supposedly just patched. Why you are encountering it in DE, i do not know. You didn't buy 3*, correct? *Perkaholic and On The House most likely still count as one of your 'buys' as well, unless they fixed that glitch too. Oh Trollarch... Why you so bad at this still?
  9. They fixed the shield glitch? Awesome. I would bet that that is important. Maybe one needs the sword and shield, old school warrior mode, to gather heads. The head meter must mean something. You don't just put in a meter that shortens the sword life for getting headshots, as that would make zero sense... "Zombie head gather" is so ubiquitous also... I'd almost like they're trying to tell us something. Either it's a clue to the AS upgrade, or we should be beheading Treyarch CEOs for making Shadows of Tranzit. It means one or the other for sure*. *This was a joke, don't actually behead folk.
  10. To state the obvious: did you mess with the RR black dot lamps? Do so, see if these change. Also, do these look the same every game? Can you do anything to alter them? Do they change after the rituals, pap, swords (any)? They are near: morse code(?) RR lights, black dot lamps, M-letter dead guy, Tram. This post was brought to you by the number 3, and the letter M.
  11. Turned was working fine last night. Just the occasional derpy turned zombie. If it was nerfed, it was slight. Thunder wall gets more kills than you think, but isn't good for groups, it is like dead wire: it triggers more, but kills less. Speaking of dead wire: a month or so ago i stood on a box glitch to test alternate ammo on helpless crowds of zombies. Dead wire would light up a couple of zombies, but not kill them in the 30s. It was fairly useless. So i tested it last night to see if it was buffed and it is. Round 52 i tested it. It kills 1-4(?) Zombies at a time, but procs constantly. They have to be a tight group to get multiple kills, but it keeps killing so frequently that it's actually decent now. So fireworks and blast furnace can take out groups. BF is best for flat areas, FW for stairs/uneven ground areas. Thunder wall and dead wire are good for circling crowds and constantly firing at them. Turned is best for camping, but can always be used. *Note: i said in the last post that the shorter fireworks was not an issue. That's not entirely true as i have found that i could almost camp with fireworks, if they had left the animation a couple seconds longer for reload time. So FW is buffed, but shortened. If not camping, it has improved more than if you use it for camping. Happy gaming! CSB edit: last night, fire works glitched and left a permanent fire work effect (no damage, just visual). I was playing the "Unmazing method" by the Fancy Grind, and this effect was at the junction-canal door on the canal side so i could see these little fireworks for the whole game. It was kind of cool, it stayed no matter what type of ammo i changed to.
  12. Or just have it on us during step X. Like upgraded shield, fight Margwa that spawns after pap, then a flyer from it will become a cocoon. Or build the upgrade, then kill 5 zombies per boost, using all of the randomly spawned recharge tanks, before it breaks. ---- Something like that might explain the glitch(?) where you trade the GA for a regular RS and it's upgraded: like we're supposed to do something with it and then trade it... Noire mode? How annoying would it be if the rocket shield is required for the AS upgrade? That would explain why it hasn't been found. I may have to try that infinite shield glitch with it, if the glitch still works, and try some shit out. Sit next to Stamin-Up in that slot, invincible to 100 rounds. Ha. But i doubt that would find me the upgrade... ------- Off topic ramblings of a madman: now that i know that Stamin is a wooly material used to make clothes, and SU is still missing it's jingle, i keep hearing the hideous song by Fountains of Wayne where they sing "do you want to destroy my sweater" in my head when i buy it. I live near Wayne, where they're from (I've recently passed the abandoned store that they are named after). So i hope to slap them all in person for their terrible music one day. :)
  13. Ha-ha. Shit happens. My phone makes me say all types of shit before i correct it. (Fixed 4 words already in this post, make that 5...). I wondered what the five-seven was doing in this game... Well, swap it back for the RS and at least the RS gets stronger.
  14. I forgot to post this, which is what i came to post. After several games, different characters, i keep getting them to say 4 different 'worm placement' sayings, no repeats. This only happens if you set the worms in the 'flag step/keeper order'. That is, match each worm to the holder which would get that district's Keeper during the flag step. In short: take worms, one at a time, to the pap room and set them in this exact order: Standing at Trap, facing PaP, looking over Altar: Canal/Cop worm Altar right. Footlight/Dancer worm PaP right. Nero's Landing/Magician worm PaP left. Waterfront/Boxer worm Altar left. Every time that i do this, i get 4 seperate sayings. Nothing negative sounding. If you do them in a different order, you get repeat sayings on some of the worms. Not sure if this matters...

  16. Is the flamethrower guy not there anymore? He was one of my favorites against the bots. I've literally not played online mp in this game. On shield: you trade the GA for a regular shield, although it still looks like a regular shield, it is tougher. I tested this on 53: the regular shield barely scratched zombies. I upgraded, then traded back to RS. Now the regular RS could kill zombies in 3 rocket boosts and took more hits to break. Before the upgrade on 53, it took like 10 rocket bursts from multiple shields just to kill a zombie. So, while you still have the GA, simply swap it for a RS. You will no longer be able to upgrade, but it is upgraded, despite looking like the basic shield. Weird, i know.
  17. This game has driven me crazy. Thankfully, it was a short drive to a locale of which I'm very familiar. ------- Example: yesterday i was by the Canal Devil-O cart. Just outside the map is a broken street light that leans over the water. I swear it was never there before. ------ More symptoms: Devil-O is an odd name. Backwards, it is Zero-Lived or Oh-lived. Since there are no olives in the game, we could rule that out. But Zero-lived? Could that be a clue? Random: maybe do the Trip Mine upgrade using only Keepers. That could explain the extraneous 4 keepers, just in case, in the subway. Note that the subway keepers don't trigger the shadowman voice cues like the 'ritual part' keepers do, when they die. They just seem thrown in there. Maybe ambience, maybe they are spares for something like this idea. ----- I've tried to repeat the loud ding that i got from Trip Mine (MCC BB version) kills. Nothing. Maybe they need to be X number of flyer kills with the TM/BB. ---- I cannot repeat the 'loud confirmation noise' that i got at the Black Lace Altar while killing the keepers with the AS. How i wish that i had theater mode... Same with the white glowing pods. No repeats, assumed glitch. On 360, the Black Lace sign letters are different on the right side. It says 'THE LA KLA'. The lil Arnie killer lil Arnie? That or Arnie is part of the Kosovo Liberation Army. ----- Kill, with every weapon, any creatures near: ?Box, a pod (or multiple pods), Altars, gateworms, red circles, et cetera. I want the box parasites to come out somehow. (Looks out window forlornly) "Are we there yet"?
  18. Still testing, but what I've found: There seems to be an increase of time between procs. Slight, but noticeable. Like 5-10 seconds more of delay between procs. Blast furnace: doesn't spread as easily, this is greatly hampered by uneven ground. For best results, pack the zombies tight and shoot on even ground. Turned: i don't think this got nerfed, it just glitches out and the turned guy doesn't run around sometimes. Fire works: the effect ends in about a third of the time that it used to. While it sounds bad, it isn't, because it had already killed everything around you by then and the extra couple seconds didn't really matter. Also, it seems to kill better at higher rounds. It used to wimp out in the 40 rounds, but is now killing entire crowds over round 50. It works well on uneven ground. I haven't really used thunder wall nor dead wire enough recently to judge them for changes. I had already maxed out DW, so i could eventually judge it, but i have rarely used TW, so i can't judge it without a decent amount of prior experience.

  20. Once completed, swap the Goddard Apparatus for the regular Rocket Shield. With the GA, simply walk up to the Shield workbench and hold X to swap. This permanently upgrades the Rocket Shield (you can not do the upgrade again, and the shield is much stronger). Whether a glitch, or intended, this is how it works on 360 at least.
  21. It works fine on 360 as of 2.13.2016, but i can't speak for xbone. We just got the patch, but maybe not everything... ------- Treyarch, zombie cloning helps the game and is fun. Don't ruin it, use that time and effort to fix the AS upgrade, the game is 3 months old, stop shaming yourselves. To put it another way: "Dial back the derp, Bad Deal"- paraphrasing Han Solo in TFA. :)
  22. I'm hoping they have grenades and killstreaks this time. Ghosts had one grenade that might actually kill occasionally, so they nerfed it like 5 times until it was completely useless. No scavenging, and only the Loki had any effect as far as killstreaks go. The perk system was one of the best yet, but needed tweeks. It's a real shame to see the subpar 'pick 10' crap return. Ghosts maps were tits. Best since mw2. Then Advanced Wallbreach and BO3 put out large maps too, so I'm hoping that trend continues. I'm really hoping that they make another outdoor Extinction like PoC. I dislike indoor, box-like maps and snow maps. What's wrong with pleasant maps? We've got enough dingy, dirty arenas in cod, let's have some more Liberty, or Estate, and PoC style for mp and Extinction. And please don't Treyarch Extinction! :)

  25. I've only upgraded it once, on 53, during a glitch where no zombies attacked. By swapping my Goddard Apparatus for a regular Rocket Shield, it upgrades the Regular Rocket Shield (though there are no on-screen prompts to let you know). So, now I'm hating the wimpy regular RS in the 50 rounds, so i want the upgrade. But i have no experience in doing it in the early rounds. So, any advice? When/where is the best time/place to get at it? Where do you fit it in to your schedule?
