Richtofen and nuketown?

I searched the forums a bit and couldint find anything about this.

Did anyone notice that on the bookshelves of both houses in nuketown have books on them that have Edward richtofens name on them and say dg-2 and dg-3. Does Richtoen have something to do with nuketown or was it just something extra that treyarch threw in there? Sorry if this has been posted by someone else already but like I said, I checked and I coundint find anything about this.
