  1. The inner lines are half hour marks and the thicker lines on the ouside circle are the hour marks so it is definitely saying 1:15. I have marked them in the image below:
  2. Unfortunately this is one of Benn Down's infamous takes on the storyline that he plugged to everyone as FACT! and that he claimed to pretty much write the whole storyline and concept for Treyarch from back in WaW so it had to be real because he wrote it. I don't agree with it myself and even though we have obviously created some kind of paradox somewhere down the line, I don't believe for one minute that certain maps exist in alternate timelines existing is some bubble crap created by the rockets hitting Earth. It is part of his whole "Two worlds collide" thing that unfortunately he managed to brainwash many people with. Not that I am saying it is not a decent theory, but I don't agree with it. No, other then "It looks like it's in the 60s" and "The nuke town from BO1 was in the 60s". -The cloud from NTZ may not be from the nuke in the BO1 map. We've gone into great datail. Some people state that there was a pact made to stop nuclear testing, to which we state "But nuke town 2025 is still there". There's a lot of arguments, and even more counter arguments. If Nuketown zombies takes place in 2025 or beyond, then why does it not look like the Nuketown 2025 MP map? Why does it still resemble the 60's version? Also, is Richtofen going to modern day and collecting the Golden Rod and Focusing Stone only to return to the 60's on Moon and changing history not the reason the paradox was created in the first place? Because he now made it that the future where he obtained these items no longer exists? The only maps that kind of threw the whole Moon/Nuketown being in the 60's are Tranzit and Die Rise and thus created much confusion. Even Maxis' quote where he said he had been searching for decades suggested strongly that Moon was in the 60's. This is why I don't like the alternate timeline thing. People use it as an excuse to cover up what appears to be mistakes on the dev's part to fix a broken story.
  3. The 4 remastered WaW maps actually originally came out before Kino as they were the bonus content that came with the special editions of Black Ops before release. They were added to the rezurrection map pack at the end of the games cycle but you are right, they did feature unedited and Richtofen did have the swaztika still in Shangri La I believe but I specifically remember reading stuff on Activision saying they were unhappy at the amount of censoring required to Black Ops 1 to allow it to just make the 18 certificate in Germany & Japan and that they would want to try and avoid that in future if possible. These reports are why the Iron Cross was used instead of the swaztika and I pressumed why they used the Iron Cross in Origins. http://www.gamesradar.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-censored-for-japan/ http://gamerant.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-banned-germany-censored-pen-49626/ I know the above reports don't mean anything, just pointing out the changes required and why they would maybe want to avoid this stuff in future. There was other That being said, it was also widely reported several years back that Activision didn't want to go down the modern warfare route and wanted to stick with the WWII (and then Vietnam) route so maybe they don't care so much. I am just basing it off years of various reports I have read that Treyarch wanted to move away from the whole 'Nazi Zombies' thing, hence why Nazi's were taken out of the story since the WaW days and were only really subtably referrenced since then. If we do go back to Der Riese and it has swaztika's and obvious Nazi memorabila then fair enough, I will stand corrected. Again, I could be wrong but like me, you and PortlyLlama80 are just assuming and neither of us will know for sure until nearer the time. The German version of WaW did not even include zombies so it easy to assume they would not bother adding in something that would require censorship because it is simply trivial by this point in the games storyline. Just like how they replaced German Samantha with annoying American Samantha. They don't care about changing things we hold dear to us... a swaztika means nothing... especially when it will only be on a character we see in a sequence for several seconds before he dies.
  4. First things first, this^ is rude. No need to be calling anyone an idiot for having an opinion. Secondly, it is easy to assume they will not add the swaztika for a number of reasons. After having to edit the Kino map so it was eligable for release in Germany and neighboring countries I can see why they would choose to leave the emblem out of this new game so it can pass through without issue. The world has gone all sensitive over the slightest of things and the bigger game developers seem to have abandoned the whole WWII scene for a modern and fictional setting where they are not necessarily offending anyone. It may not be why they have chosen to do this but it sure does seem so. Even EA have taken the Medal of Honor and Battlefield series away from WWII and into modern times. Original Infinity Ward (ie: Respawn) chose a futuristic setting for their debut title under a new guise. That doesn't mean there is not WWII orientated games though. Wolfenstien and Nazi Zombie Army are 2 I can think of but I am just assuming that considering the storyline has long since shifted away from the Nazi Zombie storyline to just zombies now I can see them ditching it just to keep things clean. I am obviously jumping the gun when I say "guarantee" but I still feel pretty confident nonetheless.
  5. I don't understand why you think they would add the swaztika into any version? After WaW Activision have abandoned WWII altogether and I find it highly unlikely they would go to the effort of having to release any kind of edited version of the game for something so minor or trivial. The zombie storyline has moved on a lot since the 'Nazi Zombies' days. Now it's just 'Zombies' and we don't hear anything related to Nazi's. I guess we can only wait and see but I am pretty confident they will not add it to any version of the game.
  6. It's the zombie community man... sometimes they can't see what's staring them right in the face and try to look for something that's not there. I assumed it was pretty blatent and obvious that the map was set in the U.S. I also assumed it was Chicago or loosely based on it at least. The swing music is also a bit of a giveaway not to mention the whole theme and setting of the map.
  7. I find it cute when you talk to "CoD" Youtuber's about the history of the franchise and they know nothing before Black Ops 2. Can't find a 'PMSL' meme good enough for that one!

    1. Matuzz

They don't know the struggle of healt packs.

  8. Well it really all depends on what the deal with Shadows of Evil is all about really. If the map is in the same mold as Mob of the Dead and the group are all pressumed dead and living an Eternal Damnation then it could be part of a series of in-game features that tie a completely alternative storyline in to ours. Subtle little additions like when the Weasel would say "Nikolai, Nikolai, Nikolai... why do I keep hearing that name?" to remind us we are playing CoD zombies, only in a different storyline. If they are not dead and their reality has been overrun with zombies then I would assume it is something to connect 935 to the events of what is happening. I have heard the map is definitely set in 40's and so is the Giant. Could these events be taking place at the same time? Like Ascension & Five or Moon & Nuketown? Seems plausable.
  9. Well, for a start he failed to acknowledge that he somehow managed to migrate into a solo game, which is impossible anyway proving undeniably that he is trolling, and secondly, his story is near identical to a few previous trolls who also claimed that people from UAE or Arabian regions had done this mysterious EE without telling anything or in some cases finishing it. You yourself also fed us this same tale, did you not? In a game seeing "with your own eyes" these Arabian fellows doing some crazy, wacky EE stuff but never actually telling you what they did. Also, as I explained already, the OP is playing on PC due to the ultra high resolution in the screen shots (higher than a 360 produces) and because of that the hintstrings are easily modified to say whatever a trolling person would want them to say. He is able to screen capture these amazing high definition images but cannot grab a quick video showing this stuff in action. Either way, you can defend it all you want, it is impossible that he dropped into a solo game. It's a complete non-starter.
  10. Well, speaking as someone who played BO1 zombies pretty much every day for 2 years, I can tell you now I have NEVER seen a co-op game migrate over to a solo game. The whole point of the online mode was a 2-4 player game-mode so the minute you dropped down to 1 player it was game over. I know because I mainly played 2 player high round games and if one person lagged out the game ended... always! Even in the super duper rare instance that the game somehow lagged you into a solo game, the OP of this post is still a troll.
  11. The game does indeed end. You get the 'Not enough players left to continue' message. Only BO2 started allowing host migration all the way down to 1 player. The troll is well and truly busted. No if's or but's about it. Sorry.
  12. You Sir... are a fucking genius!
  13. This is now the 3rd thread I have seen where Arabic people are supposed to have ran around Kino or Tranzit and solved some unknown EE. I find it rather coincidental to say the least. Also, it looks like you are playing on PC judging by the graphic resolution and editing the text in hint strings is quite easily done. Not saying you have but just pointing out it can be done.
  14. Yep, it looks like that is the case indeed. If we are only getting one stock map then I have to imagine it will be a pretty big map and there will also be additional game modes to beef it up. Here's hoping we get a hidden, unlockable map like we did with Five.
  15. Considering the fact that BO3 will have a progressive XP system in place for zombies then that is your answer right there. If people leave it should affect their rank, even taking some of their XP away thus punishing people without actually being overly aggressive and it means people who have to leave due to unforseen circumstances understand the rules and can accept this as a fair punishment. People leaving games in BO2 was because they didn't want to be deranked. This new XP system should technically encourage people to stay in games now hopefully or face a drop in XP.
  16. Then my apologies for assuming incorrectly. Well the way I see it, they base these numbers of people carrying over PSN I.D's as that can be the only way I could see them doing it and it's not a perfect formula to go off. Regarding the whole matter, I can understand your stance. You have people giving you it tight also and you are entitled to defend yourself but this whole console war stuff needs to end, from all parties! We cannot change which console get's the DLC no matter what we say on the matter. PS users get the benefits this season (and probably for the next several) so we just need to accept it and move on. This is not about what console is better as the game is being made on PC tech now and both the PS4 and X1 version will be ports. PS4 users will get the extra content first but we are not going to be seeing anything less on X1 so come on folks... let's just move on from this and accept what is going down. We are ALL better than this.
  17. And how exactly would they know this? These type of statistics are based on Sony asking maybe 100 people who were purchasing a PS4 if they ever previously owned a PS3 and base it on that. They don't take into account that some of these people asked are children buying their first ever console and not that they switched sides. They do not reflect the numbers they claim to. Not even close. His posts have at least been consistent in their lack of validity. I do have an honest question though for any PS4 owners. Is there any specific reason you chose a PS4 over an xbox one other than just console loyalty? maybe someone who bought one that previously only owned an xbox? They seem identical to me. except for the controller and the interfaces. sorry, you're right it is 40% not 50%, that was a typo. Small keys on my phone. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2015/06/17/sony-remasters-serve-the-40-percent-of-ps4-owners-that-didn_2700_t-own-a-playstation-3.aspx?utm_content=bufferd2d5e&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer As for the other part: Perhaps Microsoft realized CoD was finding more of a home on Sony's console. Reports last year indicated that of the 11.44 million units 2014's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sold in its first month at retail, 4.01 million went to PS4 players, and only 2.61 million to Xbox One owners. http://www.theverge.com/2015/6/16/8788343/playstation-call-of-duty-dlc-exclusive-from-microsoft-e3-2015 A quick google search is often times your friend. Americans are often too America centric to have a rationale discussion with I find. Again, this means absolutely nothing. There is NO WAY they can know what 10 million+ people did or did not own previously before purchasing a console. You can throw whatever you want at me and it will mean nothing. They only way they could know this is if they literally asked every person who bought a PS4, and I can tell you now... when I bought my kid his PS4, no one asked me shit! As for your other part, that would be down to the fact that the PS4 heavily outsold the X1 so these figures are no surprise. Regrarding the "quick google search" quote... maybe you didn't mean it intentionally but that is somewhat insulting, as if you assume I don't know how to look up things or my points can be disproven by a "quick google search". You need to calm down a bit with this anti X1 and pro PS4 thing. This forum is not the place for petty arguments over what console is better. We are (for the most part) better than this here.
  18. I can almost guarantee right now they won't.
  19. Yes, which is why Kino was heavily edited in Germany and a few other countries. This is also why we have probably not revisited WWII in any games of late from various studios. This is almost definitely why Richtofen doesn't have it on his arm.
  21. My guess on the Shadow of Evil and Mob of the Dead map being connected if that they are both set in some kind of eternal damnation, hence the demons and mosters. There is even a quote where the boxer says "I think we are all here because we are bad people". I can't see how it would tie into MotD any other way really that would make sense or be plausable considering MotD is a map based around these 4 characters living their own eternal damnation for their sins. The only think that throws me off that idea is that MotD had an Alcatraz transformed to look like some hellish nightmare and this SoE map looks pretty glitzy and glamorous. Will be interesting to find out for sure. MotD had a great story and proved we could divert off our normal storyline and still be satisfied.
  22. I think he is pointing out the fact that before Arkham Knights was coming out the dev's stated that the Joker would not return on a few occasions, and then Mark Hammill himself stated he would not return as the joker in the Arkham series only for the joker to return as the main villain and for Mark Hammill to return as the voice of the joker also. Basically, Dev's talk shit so don't listen to them for the most part.
  23. I only quoted this portion of your post @MegaAfroMan so as not to spam but I agree with all of it. Just because the developers said the have no immediate plans to revist or remake old maps doesn't mean they won't. If anything it would make a lot of sense for them to revisit Moon considering that the community has largly demanded a continuation of the events of Moon for a long time now. They may not always show it but Treyarch do take in what the community wants... from time to time. If this bonus Der Riese map is to continue on with the O4 characters beyond the vanilla disc and into DLC then you have to think that they would then next pay a visit to Griffin Station to somehow destroy or remove the cause of this problem in the first place, which is the MPD. I know if I was Richtofen and I killed my older, more insane self then the next step would be to target what sent him insane in the first place and to then remove the ability for the MPD to poison any other minds to prevent these people going on to destroy the world. I am not necessarily expecting a revist of Moon but I definitely wouldn't rule it out irregardless of what a few dev's said.
  24. That is true. They could indeed just be variations of the SoE posters. With them beefing up the stock Black Ops 2 game with the 2 alternative game modes (Grief/Turned) and the 3 break away maps I also expect more than 2 maps or some other modes. If we could find a blown up clearer version of that image though we could see the faces on the other posters and that would help give up an idea.
  25. I saw this image being tweeted out earlier and it appears to show 3 other maps that could possibly be on the stock disc. If anyone can find a bigger version of the image it may have something worth seeing on it. We see Shadows of Evil at the top and The Giant at the bottom, but what are the other 3? Surely they can't be DLC maps as there would be 4 more images and it would be a bit early to announce something like that. Could we possibly be getting more that 2 maps upon release?
