  1. Ha. I'd rather believe that it is hidden in a special way that code mining missed, rather than believe they simply made Tranzit2: Fight the Glitches for No Reward. Hopefully it was edited out until it could be properly implemented. Trollarch doesn't have much respect left to lose, they should do their best to reassure the community that it's in the game or will be shortly. I mean, we played with it, you can't just say 'oops, we're taking that out now, permanently'. Of course it will be back. I just won't buy another Treyarch product until it's fixed. I'm done with them if this is how they treat us. Unfinished cod mess again and they take the upgraded WW away, charge us for LD, and refuse to fix actual glitches. Why are idiot children running a multimillion dollar company? I won't tolerate this behavior anymore. It's the main reason i didn't buy xbone: i wanted this zombie game to be worth it, if it was well made, i would upgrade just for the zombies. Currently it is making me not want them to have my money. Happy Cyanning!
  2. Ah, we welcome yet another figure of our collective imagination to our cyanned fold. Congratulations Ragdo11!
  3. On parasite + wasp, i thought that Ragdo was saying that they appeared together in the code (see that post of code above), which would imply they are two different things. Ragdo? ---- On Noire mode. It may mean nothing, but just above that area (Fuse area, near Tram $1250 Door) is 'CJ's printing' in black and white. It is the only black and white sign on the 360 version that I've seen. Maybe there is a connection? I've had no luck with the Noire mode, i keep not doing it right, so i couldn't investigate.
  4. Brainstorming should be in the other thread(s), i post in the t-virus note until i get something tangible... But i digress. Yes, the keepers. As i said yesterday, after patch on xbone, they don't transmogrify. Maybe they are needed for something. ----- Since parasite/wasp are in the same code as each other, indicating 2 seperate things, and we haven't seen them; I propose that parasite could be the Wasp while still in the Margwa head. That would fit the term parasite. Yesterday, I'm fairly certain that my AS shot did actually kill a head of the Margwa caught in the purple ball. Maybe we need to perfect that and see if the sucked out Wasps act different.
  5. Trip Mines: the upgrades match the opposite cart. Devil-Os look like MCC picture, and MCC upgrades look like Devil-O Donut picture. Also, D-O has numbers in the artwork, 28 and 30 maybe? Why backwards? Programming error? I've tried them at each other's carts, to no avail. I've chucked them at the giant corresponding billboards, but... I have not yet thrown them at the opposite billboard, maybe that's why they have each other's looks? If not a glitch, it must mean something that they look like the other. --------- Train/Tram: Has path leading out of map from canal. Why waste time coding that? The tram would have made sense local to the 3 districts without out-of-map route possibility shown. The tram can be faced in either direction by moving through the 3 districts. This means that you could shuffle it around so that the Bootlegger was on the outside side at any given station, or on the inside side. This would also line up the window holes differently, possibly to shoot easier, or different things. Or, get the correct alignments and you could leave the map for X. And i feel the need to mention the 2 pointless grapples where the Tram leaves/enters the map around footlight. Maybe a way to keep a door open as it travels out of map by Footlight for beast to get out to find X? I see no hints for this or language of either kind, but it is an interesting thing that which side faces the station can be manipulated, and the gun wallbuy makes this noticeable. Most likely just how it turned out, but there is that route leading out of the map... Maybe it's a nod to 'the other bus route', they gave us the 'other train route' troll. Ha. Virus induced theory: use ABH! GG, on way to canal, tram passes canal, you teleport back onto tram as it arrives at the out of map location. Doubtful...
  6. See my 'upgrade colors' post... Not that that does mean anything.
  7. The Keeper symbols are clear in the red circle embers. I don't think 360 users get that effect from the keeper fireball spawn points, but maybe i forgot or failed to notice (doubtful). Keeper language: Beast Doors, Red Circles, Sword Niche wall, and the Sword/Egg symbols seen from the train (and PaP run wall embers, which is the only Keeper hint in PaP, iirc).
  8. Do they give more than one upgrade cue per game? ----- Other t-virus thoughts: Oil lamp. At each workbench, with scale (with odd symbol/writing on scale). Then i found an oil lamp by the rift in waterfront and canal, but not footlight (which is dark, despite the other lamps also being off). These lamps are not lit. Subway and PaP have 3(?) lit lamps. So they can appear lit in game. There is, supposedly, a 'kills near Rift' function in the code. Put lamps, 'kills by Rift', and the Beast command doors, and maybe there is something there. One idea while attempting translations of the beast door is that it is saying something in 2 closed phrases, possibly starting with [1(] which could be open 1 door (only) then stuff, then an upgraded, reversed symbol that could imply door done. In that string is the 40 symbol (which likely doesn't mean 40), which may very well indicate the Red Circle which has that symbol at it's center. So open one door, something related to red symbol, something, door done, then what looks like a 3 symbol (other 3 doors?), then another string of symbols like the first, but no 40 circle symbol. So, then do x (open, get kills?) with the other 3 doors, not involving the red circle. We all use beast efficiently, maybe we shouldn't. That may explain why they glitched beast to worj so much worse: they want us to use it multiple times. So, combining 2 madcap thoughts: open only Footlight, mess with the red circle/kill by Rift until the other lamps light... Leave start beast door closed at first.
  9. Thanks for that, Ragdo. Hmmm. Wasp and parasite are 2 different things? Check for ticks on your character? The flying things are not like any real parasite. So what's the 'parasite'? On point: you can fail the Trip Mine upgrades for the rest of the game. Or take the wrong version perhaps? Both types needed? The 'master pod' graphic certainly seems to be large enough for the AS. --- Still open avenues: We can hardly read any keeper language. The 'command' reticule symbols brackets the Keeper writing on the beast doors. So we are commanded, from start, but nobody knows what. Nobody seems to be trying to figure this language out. The red circles have keeper 'instructions' on them that aren't clearly saying 'ovum steps only', it looks like it is showing dual use. I'll post some attempted translations in the other thread. Also, the red circles light up, after pap, whether or not the sword is made. I can get behind the idea that it points you to the sword upgrade except: it goes off if you shoot a nonpap'd gun in it. It goes off if you shoot a pap'd gun in it and then step out. It stays on if you go to your character's circle and shoot on and around it with a pap'd gun. It goes off on critter rounds and when a margwa spawns in, but I've had them come back on after he is dead. Surely this is something besides a glitch? The embers glow symbols, like the pap run-walls. We have the sword counter of unknown purpose. We have upgrade voice cues. I'm working on the theory that it tells you what you next need to do. So if you've done parts of the upgrade correctly, then it will trigger a cue telling you only the next step of the upgrade. Is anyone getting more than one upgrade cue per game?
  10. Blundell is the little easter egg guy, no? He basically said the the 'lil arnie' upgrade was the 'unfindable' one. 1. GQ found it easily because of 360's simpler graphics (her words). On xbone, that stuff is harder to pick out. 2. He would not be the 'WW upgrade' guy, as that is basic game function, not easter eggs. To the best of my understanding.
  11. I see no point in taking out the gumball effect if it can't be upgraded. Taking out the gumball means one of a few things: "We want you to find it legit, no corner-cutting allowed". Seems odd and should have been left alone while they fixed actual issues with the game. "It was never supposed to be in there". So, the gum wasn't supposed to work? Taking it out only hurts players feelings and the gameplay. The gumball didn't swing the game, is otherwise underpowered, and again, there was more important stuff to fix than this. " We hate that people found a simple way to upgrade AS, that we shamefully missed in playtesting, so we pulled it from the game entirely ". Too late, we knew it existed, there is no way to take it back and save face. Unless they are fixing it, for it to return once it has been polished up and unglitchable. This, while sad that the game is so unfinished, would be acceptable and even responsible, though i feel it should have waited until some of the glitchier stuff was fixed. They haven't reset the leaderboards, so that gives hope for this. Basically, if Trollarch pulled the AS from the game forever, then they just cemented this as TranZit2 and are as clueless as i often claim they are. I really hope they do stop proving me right. ----+--+---+++ Edit: also, teasing a tiny piece of the language makes no sense if there isn't an upgrade. Most language in game will probably be found to be badly explained desriptions of what things in the game do. If there is nothing more to find, then they would have just shared the language for fun. It came like a clue, to draw attention to the languages (and i feel that the Keeper language would be more helpful, so they teased the other to kind of get us on track with the languages, but nobody is looking at the Keeper language, because we don't have much to go on). And why have the upgrade cues in the game? Just more sloppy programming? "Oops, you can't actually do that"? That makes no sense. So either the AS upgrade is in there, or we got Trollarched again. Shrug. Not hating, but tired of feeling ripped off. It best be in the game.
  12. This is correct. 10 per hit, zero for kill.
  13. On cocoons: If they exist, they have 5 locations in each district. Also, they generally appear under bridges. This pic is circulated the most, but it's one of the more easily seen ones. They are small and brownish, despite the larger image looking tan. The ritual area pods (if they exist) are rather larger and look like miniature extinction hive-flowers. The lone master pod only has a location in Ruby Rabbit. It looks like an odd-shaped see-through sac that is large enough to hold the AS. I'm not claiming their existence is real or not. It was 'confirmed' by code diving that the upgrade is in the game and the cocoons are part of it. But, it could be a troll's lie. ---------- On sword counter topic: I don't condone cheating to high rounds, but to figure this out, one could do this locally: 360 version, not tested on xbone. If both of your guns are empty, the sword won't go away (shield as well, i believe, if it's in hand). So you could keep the sword until the counter hits zero. This may also glitch the effect if it would put your sword away or something, but it may not. 360 and xbone, i believe: you can pap away your gun(s), then pull out sword (shield) for infinite sword. This is just to get results. If it gets us somewhere, then we can hone the legitimate method, sans cheats. --- I mention the shield as well, because maybe we can find a purpose for the upgraded version, if it lasts forever. Just do a throwaway game to figure these out.
  14. Robot (gwanash) inCODsistancy. Why can you sometimes kill him instantly with the Bowie Knife (regular too?) and other times, this does not work. Why can you kill him at all? Sacrifice? Or just to keep him from killing the last zombies? Between rounds, it seems to be impossible to kill him, at least every attempt has failed so far. You can call him in and then kill him, but not always. Is it location specific? Red circles? Is it just Treyarched? So much Treyarching in this game. Feeling feverish... --------+ Maybe>>>> Robot gets more time as the game goes on and stabbing him steals some of this time away. The higher the rounds, the more stabs. That might be the key.
  15. Excellent! Do you have an expanded picture sheet with more stuff? Do you have any Keeper language stuff/images? Thanks. Edit: completely understandable if you don't, appreciated if you do. :)
  16. The dots are near the master pod location... And they don't exist on 360. You want weird? Try to find any picture of the Keeper language, that is in the map clearly, anywhere on the web. You can get 100 versions of the blurry leaked image that is useless. But you can not find one person who uploaded frames of the script on beast/rifts or the sword niche. The first person to do so will get 10,000 hits and 2,000 likes, so get on it. It's easier to stick your elbow in your ear than to find one pic...
  17. I doubt the spider drops are cocoons. Cocoon images and locations have been manually spawned in at 15 specific locations (5 per district). Theoretically, a code diver had confirmed the existence of the AS upgrade and it involves these cocoons. There are also giant pod locations at each ritual site (like small extinction hive-bulbs) (48? Total), and a master pod (large enough to fit the AS) in Ruby Rabbit. The red spiders may be a step, but i (and others) sincerely doubt they would use a perk in the AS upgrade. I'd rather use the unupgraded version than be stuck with that annoying perk. Ha.
  18. Upgraded widow's wine. Interesting. I hope that it's not part of the ww upgrade.
  19. Thanks for the info. I'm guessing glitch at this point. Especially if yours was blue. Mine was yellow, and the outer swirls could be a glitched version of the lighting, only on the outside. We'll see if it keeps happening and leads to anything.
  20. TranZit Virus: searching insanely for what may or may not be. Some of us here have been brainstorming, usurping our rest periods to obsess over a glitchy mess of a video game, rather than living our lives. Many things come to mind that we hide in the dark corners of our psyche, hoping they never spill out onto a respectable forum. Well, this is the place for them. Post the little things that can't be something, as maybe they are. (Cue insane music score). ----- Waterfront: by the cthulu statue. Why is there a wood-floored building with a huge bonfire in the middle of a gallery? It's not an accidental fire, nor a meteor strike, but a bonfire inside. There are sconces up each side and the 3 recurring artworks are all in this room. Smoke rises by the $1250 Upstairs Door, but not the other, which would make more sense since it is always open on the side with no smoke. Smoke also rises from some random sewers in game. Now, this is on 360, where trivial graphics are nonexistent, so why was the smoke so important? The huge, dilapidated, billboard above workbench. By the beast fire, by Jade coast trading: threw grenade behind boarded door, after it exploded, there was lots of metal-raining-down noise. ---- Junction: only place with open baskets, and lots of them. The table next to L-car-9 is unique and looks like it's waiting for something to be on it. CP switch area is glitchy. Glitchy 360 areas tend to match a map change area. No known change here yet. Code suggests that the cocoon hangs here once taken. I can't confirm that. Pointless grapple? Where tram leaves map. --- Nero's: theoretically, code has exploding candles script. The bookcase by the floating book is glitchy, probably due to the book. It had been fixed a little, but still off. May be more to it. These tables with the open book appear around the map, but always in the map. None with the book are unreachable. Some by rifts. Some in subway and pap, one in the Anvil. --- Anvil: (boxing gym) the showers in the rear are really glitchy, been fixed a little, but still off. No known use yet. Not close enough to bowtie to be the reason. ----- Footlight: Beast can get behind the 'escape the tomb' sign, but what for? Pointless grapple? Where tram leaves map. Unlit marquee with no words above perk. 360 version not fleshed out? Killers of the night poster is unique. Strange symbol on the bottom left makes no sense, even through sniper scope. The other huge poster is Gabbi Malone, and is similar to the other GM posters around the map. Shoot them all? ---- Canal: dead guy (not zombie) with letter. Tram map washed out with brightness. Smoking sewers, grate. Repetitive cherry blossom art. ---- Most zombie rooms are black with almost no furnishings, but some are fleshed out, seemingly randomly. Deadlines, cut corners? Or something else. Random same 3 artworks. ---- Why does the upgraded Devil-O Trip Mine look like the Molly's Cream Cakes image? Why does the MCC upgrade appear as a pink donut? Why one or the other? Can't mix them or do one after the other. Why does each one of them have a large sign that the tram rides real close to? ---- Anywhere but HereGobblgum, if used on the tram, puts you back on the tram when it arrives at it's destination. ---- Civil protector: sometimes revives you, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes saves your quick revive, sometimes doesn't. ---- Keepers: 2 show up with each ritual part, 4 in Subway, not the pap room itself, but subway. Are they there just to show that the keepers want to stop us? Then, why no points? 1. To show they are the good guys? 2. Because they serve a different purpose, so making them give no points leads us to figure out their purpose, so we won't just kill them? 4 spare ones in case we killed some off (cough, 97% chance of at least one nuke on round 3, cough)? ---- Pods: stay open for several seconds before closing. I want to give them the AS... One of these days, I'll try it. Edit: i did it, it didn't seem to matter. Box wouldn't give it back. Why do they snore/sound like they're sleeping? --- Fire AS at Margwa: sometimes he stands in it, usually he ignores it. What's up with that? Is that just an extremely unreliable way to get past him in a pinch? Or should we do something to him as he stands there? Edit: no matter how many heads on 360. More, sadly, to come...
  21. 360. How i wish that i could. That would help with a few things I've seen and done. I'd love to know what gave me a ding in that one game. I could look at each thing and figure it out perhaps. Got a spare $400? Ha. Sigh. Edit: no capture card or anything fancy like that.
  22. Hmmm. What i was saying/reading was that each gun had exactly one quote. I think Mar-Astagua gave me the quote when built a couple of times. Lor-Zarozzor gave me the 'zornash, na'orrujo, zornash' quote, if i heard it right, when i sucked up a keeper/zombie/flyer combo. But one other one says 'zornash', which i didn't know at the time, and i didn't hear the quote perfectly, so i think it said zornash, na'orrujo, zornash, but it could be the other quote. So this may not be right, but i think we should all pay close attention in case we are misremembering. Are you getting 2 different quotes from the same gun? If so, then this is bunk too and we are back to start.
  23. On 360, we can still all grab at once. And we can still transmogrify keepers, so if they are needed for something, I've been blowing it. The one recent voice cue that i got happened when i sucked up a keeper, flyer, zombie combo with Lor-Z. Maybe that's why there are 4 spare ones in Subway... Maybe it is hard to get it back because we shouldn't get rid of it, other players should spam the box until all are found, if possible. I'm still considering the 'trade with a pod-gun' route though. I'm sure that we would have heard this mentioned though. So this is probably bunk, but if you have a team, try it. --- Ragdo, in at least one 'voice cue' in the pap area, the AS shot was right next to a worm in it's holder... --- Random unrelated thought: the map shows four areas, but Downtown is clearly mostly void of background stuff (cars, ambience) and not a playable area. I wonder if there was gonna be 4 districts with the key in Nero's, but it would take too much time to make, so got paired down as deadlines approached.
  24. I have a question: I just read that you can get the AS out of the box, while another player has one. So, build one, then everyone can get one out of the box. Is this true? Was this true, then patched? What if all 4 must be had before the AS upgrade can be done? I hate this idea, but it would explain the roadblock that the community is hitting. What would this entail in solo? Get each version, do it's unique thing, drop in box (trade with pod-gun?). I want to try to drop one in a pod, see if i get a cue, and then try to get one from the box, but if it does nothing, that's a bit of a loss. That was my goal last night, but the game was heywire so i never made it very far.
  25. He's one I've read about. Thanks for some confirmation, that definitely brings us closer to the solution in my mind. Now i won't be trying the same stuff with each version. --- No drinking for me, I'm 46 and i believe in the 21 year drinking age: once you hit 21, you're getting too old to drink. That stuff is to get teenagers through high school and laid.
