  1. I can see it now: Call of Duty: IDEK warfare. Players will be thrilled to know that the game will not contain a last chance, second chance, final chance, or rejack perk. However, the specialist "Obertron" will have an equipable Second-to-last-final-rejack perk that allows him to use his secondary when down and revive himself shortly after. Players will also enjoy the return of the riot sheild, OP automatic assault rifles, and skill-based matchmaking.
  2. Same thing. 3rd death EVERY game I began with.
  3. Guess I got lucky, but a glitch that persisted through 6 months? I doubt that on online servers. I remember that if I JOINED a game or dropped OUT of a game it didn't count... Maybe that's a key point because I DID have terrible connections at the time.
  4. At least with BO2, you could unlock the ray gun M2 or the peace-keeper (both weapons should return BTW) by purchasing a DLC. It made the bundle BETTER. Now we're paying for a chance to get something we want. We should have a direct route. Like, why can't I spend 5 cryptokeys and unlock the ONE item I WANT. Then when I have everything important I can unlock the gestures, calling cards, armor and camos at random. Hell I'd even pay 2$ for each directly unlocked weapon. But spending real money for a product you MIGHT get is insane.
  5. It's more like 20 minutes of time ever. I played in the DLC maps primarily, and a lot in the grapple moshpits if that makes a difference, but yeah, I got a supply drop JUST ABOUT every game. About my 3rd death each game as well.
  6. I'm surprised activision havn't caught wind that infinity ward is a one trick pony. After MW2, MW3 and Ghost both SUCKED SO hard.... Advanced warfare had the excuse it was trying to be innovative, and in their defence, a lot of features from it have been upgraded in BO3....
  7. I HAVEN'T EVEN UNLOCKED PROFIT! STOP GIVING ME HIS OUTFITS AND GESTURES! Given when you get a camo, it can be pretty cool, and usable on zombies, campaign, or multiplayer, but typically its something so close to one of the first 6 unlocked camos from campaign/MP you can't tell the difference. HHMMMM lets see... Snow job... Ash.... or Housion.... decisions decisions.
  8. So, many of you will remember supply drops from advanced warfare. You typically got one, maybe 2, each game, and at the end of the match you'd be rewarded with 3 random items ranging from clothes to hidden weapons. You also had a legendary supply drop awarded to you upon reaching certain levels. Items you already had could be exchanged for XP. In BO3 we have a similar system where each game we earn 2-3 cryptokeys and can trade 10 of them in for 3 items ranging from calling cards to hidden weapons. Or, you can wait, collect 30 cryptokeys, then get a special crate of somewhat "better" items. You can burn duplicates as well. Here's the thing. In advanced warfare it was a fun roulette spin at the end of EVERY game. In BO3, you'll find yourself waiting between 4-5 or even more games just to unlock 3 common items. And while BO3 doesn't have the ridiculous weapon variants of AW. It does have a LOT of calling cards, a LOT of camos for over 20 different weapons, all the attachment variants, the reticles for the different types of scopes, the different armor variants for the 9 specialists and their hidden taunts, and of course, the different hidden weapons. It just seems kinda ridiculous. This whole weekend I NO-LIFED multiplayer, and get over 60 cryptokeys. 3 common crates, 1 special one. All I wanted was to play arround with ANY of the new weapons.... But I didn't get one. Probability is stacked against you and it REALLY pushes you to buy these stupid "Cod points" to buy these things. In Advanced warfare you could buy legendary crates, even in bulk, and open them all up making you super OP with your decked-out legendary set. However, a skilled player could unlock most of the hidden weapons and some legendary items just by no-lifing it for a few days. But in BO3 it's just ridiculous. There's 40x the crap most people don't care about (calling cards and gestures for battery) And while there's a LOT of cool camos for guns, it's just RIDICULOUS how much time and effort you'd need to put into this just to get the sword, or crossbow weapon. Even if you USED cod points: It's 2 bucks for every special loot crate (and there's no price for regular crates). You'd be forking over like 40 bucks and STILL only have 24ish chances to get a hidden weapon.... All I'm saying is, MAYBE the black market vendor should lower his prices a bit, or make it easier to earn cryptokeys on ALL weekends.
  9. I actually used that Double XP time to unlock most of the specialists. Doesn't appear it applies to zombies though. So there's 4 known "Double" weekends now: -Xp. -Weapons Xp. -Zombies Xp. -Cryptokey
  10. Plus, doesn't something say that PS4 gets 30 day exclusivity? We already knew the date.....
  11. What It might have done @TimelordAlex is download most of the new features (textures, wonderfizz, dragons, ect), and the leaderboards, but hasn't assembled them into the game. So you have the puzzle pieces, but not the picture. Honestly this would be a smart move, as it'd make the patch later on of smaller size. Essentially Xbox and PC users would download the map with smaller downloads over the course of a month, as opposed to one massive download the day before release.
  12. If this update goes out to PC users? I'm guessing no @TimelordAlex. They'd be able to play the game long before Xbox gets the chance to.
  13. On the BRIGHT side, the patch depicts some new INTERESTING weapons: -Crowbar (Iron Jim) Gonna morgan freeman some shit up! (I'd love this as a melee weapon in zombies) -M2 Raider: Nothing special. -Marshal 16: Looks like some kind of electric pistol. OR a massive eff-ing revolver. -Sword (Fury's song): Can't help but notice this looks almost like a katana, will we FINALLY get the weapon we've always wanted in takeo's hand? -Crossbow: awful lawton returning? Possibly more to come.
  14. It's likely they're going to return it in a near patch. It's likely just an issue of fitting all the gumballs on one screen. They really should have just created a 3rd screen for dlc gums.
  15. There is one thing about this that I will NEVER forgive you for BHS: You missed an opportunity to call a drop "Howl Hour". I'm especially impressed with the visuals you've provided. It really sucks you into the setting of the map.
  16. I didn't vote at all. Thank you NV! I likely should report this bug that I can't actually see whoever voted for who despite that being the setting I put into the poll.... Pitty.
  17. I DOUBT it will stay that way. Wall power was needed to unlock that barracks thing. You should complain however, as that IS practically robbery. You paid money for a roulette. You earned a gobble gum from that roulette. That gobble gum is your property, legally, and if they take that, it's stealing.
  18. I only see 3 issues with a map like this: 1- The cards are a sort of mixture between specialist abilities and gobble gum, and I really don't see their main purpose. Also, the joker card would be infinitely OP in solo considering you'd never lose quick revive. 2- A lot of things on the map seem to take 10 rounds to re-charge. Well, then at most, you'd use those things twice in a game of randoms MAYBE. The box that takes 3 but charges to 7 fallows the same issue. 3- You didn't really explain Ammo-matic, which as someone who's been here long enough I know the purpose of as it was an unused perk in WAW that either dispensed ammo, or regenerated ammo depending on if the perk was modeled after which custom map or the actual unused perk. However, not everyone knows this. You could also add some more features to it, like occasionally offering alternate ammo types from regenerated ammo, even without an upgraded weapon. Aside from that, I love the concept of where this map is. Post-Post-re-apocalyptic. 4 Baddasses with steam punk abilities at their sides. LOVE IT. Only thing it's missing is the secret way to unlock a tophat (similar to the margwa head) that makes you take less damage from the KRABS.
  19. Well, looks like I've won 2 out of 3 of the sections.... Not that it really matters much, only one guy voted in one section. I swear, it wasn't me. And in the other two only 3 people voted. Good job NMV and BHS, now that the competition is over, I'm going to fully review your 2 maps.
  20. So Xbox is now getting death machines, ready up, and the ability to get the new gobble gums from the widow's wine easter egg on SOE as well as several other features that should have been in the game upon launch? NEETO!
  21. Ok, so I cheated a bit on looking at the DLC early, but dont' worry. I've seen NOTHING of Der Eisendrache, and I'd prefer there be no spoilers about that DLC until it's released on Xbox and PC in this thread. However, I did see this video by Ali A today regarding the MP map " : SO, there is a bit of a mystery to this. We know that the 9 specialists have story in MP this time around,We also know SOMEONE is being a big fat lying traitor to the rest of the group. Which is interesting as before this map, the only one even hinted at being the bad guy, was Spectre. NOW with Profit's name being crossed out, we have two possibilities, well, technically 9. But enough about that because I want to know who this guy is with his "Jack of Spades" calling, literal, card. I'm going to go ahead and start referring to this guy as the jack of all trades, and I'd hope to see him appear if not in DLC 2, or a patch between DLCs, then either DLC 3 or 4. Much like the gobble-gum I don't see this guy being unavailable for some players, as it wouldn't really be fair to players stuck with the original 9. But I could be wrong, wouldn't be the ballsiest thing treyarch's done this year. But what would this guy do? I have a few theories: -Grappler: One of the things advanced warfare had, and I loved, was the ability to grapple in multiplayer. It was a great concept, even though it was glitchy as all hell. If it IS a grapple weapon or ability, I could see that, as it would make getting around the map easier for a brief period of time. However, I also feel this would be an opportune time for glitchers to use this ability to hide in walls again, which I'm highly against. -The swordsman: As we see in SOE, there is a sword weapon specialist item. And so far every specialist item in zombies has been seen in MP as well, aside from the swords. I wouldn't really approve of this as there's already Specter's Ripper which covers these aspects. -The big BOOM: While we have a character that holds the ability to spam grenades, we don't really have the ability to make one REALLY BIG explosion. It'd be cool if we had a guy who arms a REALLY devastating grenade and chucks it at enemies. -Anti-kinetic armor: As we know, Battery's kinetic armor protects her from bullet fire, briefly, but not from shots to the head, or explosions. I purpose an item which does the opposite: Protects someone from explosions, but not from bullet fire. And lastly: -Shield: One of the things that we thankfully don't see in multiplayer anymore is the riot shield which protects one from bullet fire from behind when worn, and from frontal fire when equipped. If this guy's specialist weapon is to spawn in a rocket shield like we see in zombies, that COULD be a vailable thing to see, but I'd hate it. Such a cheep move wearing those things. I'd actually prefer it better if he just got the boost-forward ability we see in campaign.
  22. Ok guys. Going dark for a while. (save the sacred thread) SEE YOU EN UN MONTH!

  23. reddit showed that there was an intro cutscene. I haven't seen it but I'm highly interested in the comments. "iron giant SMASH!"
  24. I just saw a video on reddit of someone doing the "Widow's wine" gobble-gum thing, and getting the crawl space, and yes. It does do what @TheDunbarian described. -I don't consider this a spoiler.
  25. What I mean by "Sacred topic" is that THIS thread is designed for Xbox one, and PC uses. As well as any PS4 users who have waited to buy the game. I'd not normally ask for this, but I was wondering if when the time comes, If I could regulate posts on this thread? Like I could report someone for breaking the rules, and a moderator would delete the post as fast as possible? Simply put this area is for people that have to wait for the DLC map. It's designed to preserve the easter-egg hunt feel for one month so when we get it, we have just as much fun with the map, discovering easter eggs, and working things out our selves. RULES: And I can not express this enough: NO LEAKS NO HINTS (Unless otherwise asked- See "hints") NO SPOILERS. -Any information that's uncovered before the release of the DLC that isn't a leak, is FAIR GAME. This includes trailers, twitter teases, and possible theories. Simply put, if you've played or seen the actual game before the XB1 and PC release, GET. OFF. I really ask that everyone here take this thread seriously. Don't try to SOUND smart by watching a PS4 video and then posting your "Idea" up here. That destroys the point, and it's more obvious when you do this then you think. We only want the Blind! -On the topic of Hints: Should we become stumped and generally we DON'T know what to do, tell a person who asks in a spoiler. Like say Nightmare Voyager wants to know how to open the floodgate door. (Theoretical situation) He then posts here, "Can someone drop me a hint to how to open the floodgate?". Then Lenne will come in, and do this: @Nightmare Voyager This allows simplistic hints to be given, without the threat of spoiling the fun for everyone else. I ask HUMBLY, that everyone takes this seriously, it's designed as a way to discuss between our selves without spoiling everything. Violators of these simple rules, or trying to bend the rules in a way that defeats the purpose of this thread, will be reported.
