  1. What issue do you have with the wonder fizz? Melee will undoubtedly return, even if it's in bowie/galvaknuckle form. The issue with Origins is that the easter egg was practically 50% Upgrading the staffs. By the time you upgrade that, you search for the only way to upgrade again: Elemental fists. That REALLY forces the easter egg. Every map on BO2 really pushed the EE (If it had one). -Tranzit--- Voices -Die rise---Voices -MOTD--- Didn't actually provoke it, but considering you're 90% done after just reaching PAP 3 times… It's hardly even an easter egg. -Buried--- Voices Origins-- ENTIRE MAP SET UP MENT FOR YOU TO DO THE EASTER EGGS….
  2. Huh…. Maybe I am crazy… A dream? A shift in the fabric of multiple realitys? Idk… But even then, everyone here has had 2 years (by next year it will be 3) to save up for said devise. And more on point: EXACTLY!
  3. Realistic is far from it. Also, It doesn't matter if treyarch or activision or even sledgehammer made the decision. It would be stupid for whomever to NOT use the one/4…. The market is going to push the XBONE in every way it can. This makes it so people buy their one's, increase profits, and can buy more games which will grow to become more and more focused on upgraded tech. It's all a game of persuasion. Eventually every market game will jump on. The bigger games will likely be pushed even more: Let's say X% of Xbox COD players play COD for zombies. Which is going to entice MORE people to spend more money? -Purchase a new console, and a game. -Spending MORE cash to port a game to the 360 and less people upgrade. On one hand, players could refuse to buy the new console, which would have made sense, IF a large number of players haven't had already upgraded and XBONEs were still their original price of… What 600$? IDK… But this isn't the world of a year ago, this is the world of a year FROM now. Meaning, the other hand is more reasonable, by pushing the remaining resistant players to buy the next console with what will likely be the biggest COD until 2018 it's more likely Microsoft, Activision, AND Treyarch will make the MOST profit. (Because Activison and Treyarch don't have to port back.) As further proof: "Xbox 360 sold 5,930,609 units in it's first year" XBONE sold 2 million in the first 24 hours." And if that's still not convincing enough: "Comparatively, Xbox One consoles have sold at a rate of 2.29 times faster than Xbox 360 in the U.S. in the same time frame for the first three months on the market."
  4. There are 3 MP40s…: - Near jug. -Exiting the workshop -in the tank station They aren't all over the map, just in the main areas. Well… 4 if you count the one in the box...
  5. Do you expect them to get a better engine for the last game to walk out on 360? I sure don't. Also, I just saw an add the other day for a Xbox ONE: 299$ (Walmart I think) NOW, I've heard rumors and I'm not sure if there's anything inferior about the 300$ one, but, when you get down to it, it's a 299 dollar XBONE. And it's not even black friday yet. Every single one of you act like you WANT the game to be for 360/PS3… Why? Why would anyone want that?
  6. @BrayJayTheZombSlaya I don't think that's a good set up, simply because I play a LOT of games that don't let me use the bank… Perhaps we just need to make money in the bank somewhat more valuable then money not in the bank, like if we used bank cash to unlock guns, cloths, and maybe even perms-perks, then maybe add a buffer on bank points, like if one removes 2000$, that's the equivalent to, about 20 zombies (for a simple scale). So, it actually will REMOVE the kills from your stats, but putting bank money in does nothing. It makes it more of a loan system to use the bank that way. YES you can get in a game and play to round 30 with the same set up on round one, but you removed 10,000 dollars in the process meaning you now have to kill 100 zombies to even BEGIN increasing your total kills. -I'd buy DLC to use WAW weapons if they were as good as BO2 weapons. And what you've set up is basically the custom-box idea of mine in a nutshell: Like weapons can be traded around, using a weapon too much will jinx it, prompting you to swap the weapon for something else. You can trade a python for a Remington NMArmy for example. You CAN trade the ray gun for the M2, but the M2 has 1/10th of the chance to show up in the box. -Stat tracking isn't as well… Usefull IMO as it should be. Honestly If I can just keep track of someone's highest round on the map (lobby leader boards) and their kill-to-down ratio, I'd be just as convinced. -Yes, -Yes. -YES @Cheesegrater28 : I had an idea a while back where there WERE no points used in a map, look it up it's part of my countdown collection: It's the "Heist of the Dead" one! But on the other hand, I think that the way we play zombies now shouldn't change. People have grown accustomed to it and it works.
  7. Why? How can you predict how many players will own a XBONE next year? Like I said, XBONES are DIRT cheep now, not like last christmas where they were 500$. They are 200$ cheeper now, almost HALF of what they were worth. Anyone who's anyone will defiantly buy one NOW. Remember there's a christmas and at least one birthday for everyone between now and then, giving them ample opportunity. Not to mention, during the last console change, games like Halo stopped creating old-gen games 2 years after it was released. COD 2015 will be 3 YEARS after release of the console, as it it's self is released in NOVEMBER (practically 2016). And like I said, there's NO way zombies would run smoothly on a 360 again. Not if more content is added.
  8. I will start the ball rolling with a few ideas of mine I'd really like to see, but given how much I've expressed my want for these I'll just summarize: -Customizable character for game-mode maps (Survival, grief, and turned) (So far there have been no legitimate objections to this idea by anyone) -Customizable Box load out: For more information please see "Tree of tears" HERE -Return of the Wonderfizz -Choose a starting pistol (Mauser, M1911, others) -Better system for perms-perks (Listed in "Tree of tears") -More punishment for using the bank -Objective-based ranking, and likewise, MAP based ranking. -New menu screen music (like aether from origins, that would be VERY fitting IMO)
  9. By my count, the very first brainstorming of the next COD game begins around the time the game before is RELEASED. This makes sense as many teams who worked on the campaign and basic MP set up now have about 4 times as much free time. And if my logic is flawed (And I'm about 90% sure it is) please don't make this topic about that…. If you want more proof: The first teasers are seen between DLC 1 and 2 normally. If they want enough brainstorming time, they should begin about the time the game came out…. Of course, again, not much research was done, just my thinking… Point is, if there's a time that trayarch is looking for ideas it's going to be in about a month and a half. SO, NOW would be the time for US to put together, in this topic, BIG things we want to see in BO3 or whatever COD 2015 will be. Rules: 1:Please be realistic, treyarch is NOT going to add in a gun that fires guns… 2: Focus on the BIG things, in-fact, don't even bother posting future wonder weapons or buildables (unless they're game changing and epic). Don't discuss what type of map you'd like to see, leave that to them, we are trying to focus on big map gimmicks, gameplay changes, and innovations. 3: Be respectable, but show your distaste for ideas you don't like, and reason, without reason we will assume you're just trying to be a dick. This way it's easy to see what ideas are generally liked or disliked by the community. 4: Do not discuss bringing old maps back. 5: DO discuss ideas for story continuation (on a general level) and things along the lines of season passes and micro-dlc. 6: Don't make a fuss if someone has the same idea as you, great minds think alike and the more people are for the idea the more likely this will happen. PLEASE stay on topic, if you have any questions PM me.
  10. Ok this is getting a bit ridiculous, it isn't even summer anymore and the featured topic is still CODz Olympics…

Well where's the topic for voting?

    3. Boom115

      Boom115

Due to the low input of members. We have opted out of the voting process. Decision will be determined by the staff. You are correct though, it needs an update since the olypmics are finally over.

    4. Hells Warrrior
  11. Come next game, what aspects of Origins would you like to see again? This could range anywhere from the wonder fizz to the soul chests to multi-wonder weapons. SImply post what you think should return and why.
  12. I personally believe the next upgrade to the PAP machine should be for it to accept grenades, like, approach the PAP, then hold either RB or LB while you have the indicator. Then push X/Square to put a grenade in, costing 2000 for lethals, and 4000 for tacticals: Some basic upgrades: Frags----> Cluster bombs: Like grenades but explode multiple times, like metruskas. You get 5. Semtex---> Glue grenades: Bursts into a pale-yellow sticky goop. Any zombie or player it touches is slowed. You get 3. Glue grenades----> Crawler Traps: Double PAPed semtex will actually result in a crawler trap, this trap works like a bear trap and once deployed will trap a crawler, which will not die until shot, thus preserving the round. You only get one however, so hope for max-amos if you want to save the round. Tacticals: Monkeys----> Super monkeys: Attracts zombies for longer periods of time and once it detonates the blast is MUCH bigger. You get 3. Shock grenades: Work like the testla grenades in BO2 MP. When they explode it works like an electric cherry effect, and is only set off when a zombie steps near it. You get 4. ------> Testla's charge: Works the same way but now has more of a wonder-waffe effect. You get 4. Your thoughts?
  13. Then wouldn't it be a lot cheeper and less time consuming to just get an executioner from a merchant, other player, or the box?
  14. If I wanted the M/S I would just upgrade my normal gun, which is cheeper, easier, and doesn't require more code: Fully-automatic sniper: Massive recoil/annoying scope -(Although tank rates this 9/10) Shotgun/SMG: Is it a shotgun that fires it's shots ad fast as an SMG? Given which amo is used that's either really OP or really stupid. Grenade-launcher Sniper: Would not work like a scavenger, it'd work like a long-range war machine. MG/Pistol: Kap 40 anyone? Shotgun/pistol: Executioner anyone? Crossbow/ pistol: What? How would… Huh? Rifle/grenade launcher: Is just a grenade launcher. Rifle/ Sniper: Is just a sniper Rifle/ SMG: Is just a burst-fire SMG Rifle/Pistol: is just a Rifle. Plus the glitches it could cause with mule kick…. (Shudder…) It honestly is just not worth the time IMO….
  15. I hope in the next game they let you customize which announcer you get after completing the final easter egg: Samantha, Richtofen, Maxis, or Demonic

  16. Fine, then re-name the title: Why Treyarch getting pushed a year back is the greatest thing Activision has ever done for them. Please, I really don't think TREYARCH (See i'm learning, also I have to fix my computer's auto-correct…) is dumb enough to make a 360 or Ps3 variant for the next game. Look at BO2, that game PUSHES what each map can do to the LIMIT with previous-gen. tech. It's full of glitches, it worked treyarch to the bone, SO MANY REPEATED CHARACTER QUOTES. I REALLY wouldn't expect a 360 version of zombies again, unless it gets ported from the WII U version and not the XBONE. > Zombies has evolved to the point where 10 year old, sorry, next year it will be 11, year old technology is NOT going to be able to compete with other games. Don't see the difference? PLAY Arkham origins for the 360, it's DISGUSTING how glitchy and poorly apt it is. Also, at this point just get the console this christmas, it's already dumbed down to what… 300$ That's a 200$ish XBONE during 30% off sale, could you imagine Black friday? GEEZ…. That's less then a week's salary for me! You don't even have to sell your 360! But my main point is that it would be UNBELIEVABLY stupid to even BOTHER with old gen after 2014: -DIRT Cheep XBONES - Better development allowances - Don't have to pay an extra group to port it back - LEAST amount of limits. - By the time it comes out (presumed to be November) the XBONE would be out for everyone for 3 years, PLENTY of time to switch over. Moreso, it's obvious that COD and Xbox are good buddies, and let's face it: Typically people play the latest COD (or COD zombies) force them to play the XBONE version=Force them to purchase an XBONE.
  17. -Covered -Bit excessive, but perhaps the type of material used to create the car determines it's effects - A WHOLE COUNTRY?!?! THAT'S MASSIVE! WAY too OP, if anything have the air strike take out the chunk and Nukes take out the cluster-chunk (3x3 chunks) and are somewhat rare. -Npc like leroy are hard to program, but perhaps a few traveling merchants. - NO! Why do so many people want a machine that combines weapons? It would be super difficult to program, and what would it's use be? Who wants a shotgun-sniper or pistol grenade launcher? It's just kind of silly and unnecessary.
  18. Many people assume that trayarch waiting a year and letting sledge hammer come in to the roster was a bad move, and in some cases they'd be right: -Less sales of new games -Less hype durring downtime -Generally disappointed fan base. But today (Whilst waiting for a lecture to end) I got thinking on all the POSITIVES created by the extra year: 1: To start off: Three words: Next Generation Consoles Whilst Ghosts and Advanced warfare CLAIM to be epic on the new gen. NEITHER game will be as epic as COD 2015. Why you ask? Because no matter what they say, Ghosts and Advanced warfare at the end of the day, still hold the collar of last-gen consoles. BOTH games have to be ported back to the 360 or PS3. (Keep quiet PC, we all know your gaming system set up is superior) That REALLY puts the ball and chain on the abilities of game-makers. Sure a few things can be changed to run better (Just look at arkham origins, yikes….) but it still is dead wait, that won't be cut off until 2015. 2015 marks the year that the excess fat of the 360 and PS3 gets cut off. Games created after that date will typically be for Next-gen (Or actually then it should be called "current gen") consoles. Everything after that is all PS4 and XBONE. 2: Previous Games: It didn't occur to me this recently but, COD BO2 will likely sell better then any COD before it. People WANT zombies, it's pretty apparent. And try as Archer and Samantha Cross may, they just don't compare to our favorite Nazi-schizaphrenic-illuminati-body-swapping- overlord and Psychotic child. People will buy BO2 play the zombies and realize they like it. They'll want more but have to wait. SO instead they buy DLC, and when THAT's not enough they move on to buy BO1 and WAW games, and then from THERE they move into CUSTOM zombies. It's like a world-wide tourist trap for gamers. Honestly it's borderline illegal how much of a monopoly it is. They're cutting off the supply to make us BEG for what comes next like cheep coke-whores. 3: The HYPE BUILD UP The biggest disadvantage to waiting a year is also the game's biggest asset: SO many people will build up craving to scour maps and bash in heads it won't even be funny! (I can see gamestop now on release day… Shudder…) The sheer number of people craving to play repetitive gameplay and discover every map is going to be UNREAL. It's worth pre-ordering the pre-order… Or at least pre-ordering the spot in line you want.
  19. "Mr.President, I can not advise…" "Mr. President… That man walked in here with a big blue box and three of his friends, and that's the man he walked past, one of them is worth listening to…" -BEST LINE EVER!

  20. DO I HAVE A DAY PLANNED: I get to paint faces, play some zombies later, and EVEN melt down metals using nothing but a couple of paint cans, soda cans, iron bars, and a hair-dryer!

    1. 83457

      83457

      Sounds rather enjoyable.

  21. The game needed a WW for the box, the effort it would take to put a flame-thrower in there was… Appeariently too much, but hey, copy over the thunder gun to nact and the winter's howel to verruct and bingo! There's the answer! In all seriousness however the abandonment of the flame thrower is likely due to the lag it would cause in MP...
  22. I can explain the BO2 maps easily enough: During the events of moon, 4 CIA and 4 CDC agents were sent to the nuketown base in nevada to examine an unexpected nuclear strike (the actual nuke it's self is a mystery to the point that we don't even know if the nuke was intentional) from there samantha brings forth zombies. At round 25 richtofen enters the MPD and takes control of the zombies. Once the agents are dead, maxis sends in the mega-nuke from the end of the moon easter egg to make a BIG boom (not scene on camera) It's speculated richtofen uses the souls of these exact 4 agents in all survival, turned, and grief maps (excluding MOTD grief) After the events of moon richtofen and maxis begin a worldwide war of aetheric abilities. Richtofen being only able to communicate with infected, and maxis only being able to communicate through technology. Eventually, we meet samule stulinger, who is under the guidance of richtofen due to previously eating zombie flesh, and russman, a former operative from an unknown "broken arrow" government operation russ has been wondering the earth after the "incident" which is never fully explained but gets him fired. He also suffers from memory loss (yet this can be somewhat reduced by consuming perks), to the point where russman isn't even sure if russ is his first or last name. These two manage to acomoder a cross-country bus operated by "Tedd" the bus driver (that you see in tranzit), they cross an unknown amount of land, eventually ending up in "green run" a camouflaged HARRP (presumed not confirmed) government testing station. Here they meet the other two protagonist of the "green run" group, or "New crew/four" (N4): Marelton: Whom was actually present in the bunker when the mega nukes hit. He's a government scientist whom was apparently punished by the government after finding out about zombie testing. Other then that he maintains a firm belief he feels no emotion and is a total wuss. He oddly enough, is actually the apple of our fourth contender's eye: Abigail "Misty" Barington. A country girl whom acts as the glue that keeps the group from killing each other. She and russman are on disliking terms, and she HATES stulinger (who returns the favor). Not much else is known about this Misty-erious, oddly enough that puts her TOP of the suspicious list in my eyes… The green run station was where Maxis first contacts the group and guides him down his path, despite what you may think, the results of which path one takes are somewhat small in difference so until the end just assume that they both end the same way. Richtofen will begin communicating with stulinger, instructing him as well. Both will guide the player to turn on the power, releasing the avagadro: A being of living energy. Not very importantly to the story however. After completing the task of powering the tower for either maxis or richtofen, the crew are presumed to die. HOWEVER richtofen at the wheel is a bit different then samantha: The N4 are then "reborn" atop a shanghai skyscraper: Die rise. Samule converses with richtofen at this point about "mending a rift" , letting his guard down, to which zombies surround him, and he's saved by russman, who is then eaten by the boss of the tower: The nova-jumpers. Samuel escapes with misty and marelton on an elevator, in which richtofen says: Except your fate! BEGIN ANEW! In which the remaining 3 are eaten by zombies, forcing them to be re-born again atop the tower. The history of the tower is non-important with little secrets, my personal theory is the melting city beneath the tower is releasing benzene, but that gets a bit confusing and it really isn't important. Either way, the group once again helps either maxis or Richtofen attune a tower. This time however richtofen does not "recycle" them, leaving the 4 in the guidance of Russman, who leads them from africa, across india, into egypt, and ALLLLLL the way down into what many have speculated is Angola. In the mean time let's talk MOTD. MOTD does not necessarily take place in the post-apocalyipse. It takes place in alcatraz prison on "New years eve 1939" where 4 inmates: Gang leader Sal Daluka (chaz palamentari), Murderous henchman Billy Handsome (Ray Liota), Gambling and cheating Finn O'Leary (Michael Madson), and Conman Sify comic writer Albert "The weasel" Arlington (Joe Pantiona). Please ignore the misspelling of names. The four inmates don't plan to stay locked up, and Instead Arlington devises a plan to escape the rock on a make-shift aircraft. Now, supposedly, in the REAL world, Arlington's plans ended in bitter argument and failure, leaving arlington to be killed by the other 3. The remaining 3 were then sent to the electric chair the next day, as told by ex-security guard Stanley Ferguson (Whom is killed by weasel in the opening cinematic) There are many theories to this occurrence. My personal favorite (which fits with brutus and the satanic symbols everywhere) is that the black-and-white scene we see in the beginning is purgatory, where arlington is being held. Sal, FInn, and Billy are already doomed to hell for Lying, adultery, and murder. Arlington is just a rat and has not truly shown his true colors in the real world, but purgatory is his test… Which he fails by killing Ferguson. Once he fails the test he is dropped, with the other 3, into hell, where zombies run lose in the prison. In hell, the security guard brutus (whom according to dante's 7 levels of Hell is a part of the actual devil himself along with 3 wolf heads) keeps re-setting the 4's cycle over and over in any way he can. Sometimes he is defeated other times, like in the opening cinematic, the 4 are killed. When truly dead (to us this means "game over, you survived XX rounds" ) Finn, Sal, Billy, and perhaps even Weasel at first based on his notebook page (non-cinematic loading screen), lose their memories of ever trying to escape. Thus they try again. They try over and over and over, like groundhog day each time a bit different, sometimes they build the gondola and sniper trap, other times they just try and die. This keeps up for years on end, until eventually the perks seep in. Notice how all the perks except for Electric Cherry are flashy? It's because they don't belong in hell and are being pull from time and space like the wonder fizz (more on that in origins). Electric cherry is actually NATIVE to hell and will likely not be available from the typical perk machine anywhere in the real world. But it likely can be gotten from the wonder fizz. Anyway, the perks, the buildables, and everything else eventually builds up. Allowing the group to actually make it to the plane and fly away to the Golden Gate bridge, where they learn there is no escape, electrocuting themselves in the chairs to return to the prison. This continues over and over again. One thing about the zombies story is that every map happens chronologically. I can hypothesize this map fallows that rule. While the prison may seem to ALWAYS be new years eve 1939, it very-well could actually be the same time as die-rise, but in arlington's personal hell time doesn't flow and thus, they've been completing the cycle over and over for possibly 100 years. Eventually the 4 manage to get to the bridge 3 times. Resulting in anger. Brutus or the demonic announcer then shows the 4 the "truth" via stanley ferguson's audio log. From here, the 4 return to the bridge, but this time: Arlington is immune to zombies. This is due to his redemption. He is now free to escape the cycle and ascend into heaven. This ends the story of the 4 mobsters. Back with the green-run group, Russman has led the crew a rock mine near the rift. The rift is a MASSIVE gash in the earth filled with lava and death. it's unknown if this gash is the main portal to argartha in this day and age, but given maxis's fixation on it, I wouldn't put it past em… Either way, upon arrival, the 4 fall into a chasm where there sits a small western-style town. It's only residence are a giant helpful hillbilly, a greedy witch-ghost, and of course, zombies….. It is known why the town is under ground. Either way the same general concept pursues: Do an easter egg to power a tower for maxis/richtofen. By now, one must have inserted a NAV card into each of their corresponding reader's : Tranzit---> Die rise, Die rise--->Buried, Buried----> Tranzit. If one has completed all easter eggs for maxis: Maxis gains control of the aether: BAD. He sticks richtofen's soul into a zombie and watches him running about. Furthermore he sacrifices the WORLD to get Samantha out of the aether. If one has completed all easter eggs for richtofen: Richtofen gains control: Maxis is destroyed, and richtofen enter's samule's body (because he wants to be in the physical world) That's about it for the main story so far.
  23. No, no, no you bring up an excellent point: Sleeping. In this big of a map, should you need to leave you don't have to start over, you can suspend your game by sleeping in a sleeping-bag build able, or secure bed. A room is secure when no zombies can enter it, this is accomplished by closing a door after one walks in. Typically once a person is sleeping, the secure room they're in is locked to all other players (Unless another player is in with you, then just hope they remember to shut the door) once done your character remains dormant. When you resume you can pick right back up where you left off. You can even turn off your device and then turn it back on to resume.
  24. I got an Xbox right about the time Shangri-la was released. Bout this time I had played nact and kino like once at someone's house and didn't get the controls. I started playing the campaign of BO1 on easy. Took me forever, and at the time I was really confused on how one was so posed to keep track of the screen and enemies. I was slow to aim and slow to react. I was HATED when I started playing Multiplayer. Even then I didn't get into zombies too much, it creeped me out and it's storyline was REALLY over-powering. Then the hurricane came, we knew it was coming so all my friends decided to go to my house. It was the day before when I was taught about DLC and add-ons. THIS is when i learned about MOON, which was JUST released. We downloaded it, and just by sheer luck, my house was the only one with power out of all my friends. We ended up playing Moon over and over for three whole days. Took us 3 hours to understand how to survive GETTING to griffin station. Then one of my friends (who was on my friends list) freaked out because the cosmonaut had his name on it. Later we started learning the names of characters. We learned the names: Tank, dempsey, Nikolai, and The doctor. We assumed these were the 4 playable character's names, confusing nikolai with takeo, takeo with dempsey, tank was always correct, and richtofen with nikolai. Few weeks later I look up the names and start to learn the story through youtube. I am FASCINATED and LOVE it. I felt SO smart after watching them. Later I found out about the MOON easter egg, and DAMN I wanted to blow up the earth. I practiced as hard as I could. Then I found out I needed to do the Shangri-la and COTD easter eggs. COTD my friend had, and I liked. We thought up this plan that I would get the shangri-la map and do it's easter egg, and he would to the COTD and then we would both play MOON and blow the earth sky high. This was much better on paper… After MONTHS of GRUELING effort WAISTED match after match, I finally got the COTD easter egg done (by this time I had earned the money to buy COTD myself). MONTHS after that I got the shangri-la easter eggs done. Needless to say I KNOW those easter eggs by heart now… It was then that I FINALLY destroyed the earth. I had heard rumors before, but always stopped the video to not spoil the end for me. I was CRYING it was so beautiful. That is when me and my friend joined CODZ under "Der Atzi". He became violent and after a few months I branched out to become "StopMockingMe". Then I began a simple life, mainly composed of map idea threads. Went through BO2. Now… I'm here.
