  1. Ok, so I'm not spitting out 20 multiplayer map designs, I'll funnel the concept into one post. The concept idea here is that the multiplayer mode in the upcoming COD has a massive easter egg that takes place across all the multiplayer maps on disc. It's a nice little feature and I think zombie lovers and regular codz-ers would LOVE to see something like this. The egg of course would revel information about the continuous war between the 2 factions (which yes, it has been confirmed there's two main factions like AW's Atlas and Sentinel, that was confirmed at some point, don't ask me where I don't remember.) So I guess the smart thing to do is start off with all 20 map designs and the main features and ideas of each of these maps. I've already completed monsoon and Nuketown 2065's concepts so feel free to check those out in the link I'll add later: (Bit short on time today) Other Map's names: 1:Trap 2:Deep 3:Front 4: Death from Above 5: Media 6: Hidden 7: Hunted -Confirmed 8:Strong-hold -Confirmed 9: Combine -Confirmed 10: Darkness 11: Sub-zero 12: Fault 13: Repel 14: Boom 15: Launch 16: Classified 17: Rail 18: Heat Now I will describe the map and the type of map it is and what would be most useful in it. -Spotlight: Stealth map: You're playing as an elite soldier in the dead of night. Around you spotlights and turrets become a deadly force to be reckoned with. If spotted you will likely meet an unpleasant end if you don't disappear. Don't worry, the spotlights are slow and turrets are only functional after a player is spotted. Til then it's gun blazing. Oh, also louder weapons like shotguns will draw the attention of the spotlights. This is a gimmicky map and I don't expect it to result in too much of a fan favorite. But it's an original concept and I like it. -Deep: Water map: This map is the last map up here with a heavy hold on using water physics. The other being monsoon. This map takes place in an underwater base where 50% of the map is in water and the other half is inside air-pocket caves and a large dome underwater. It's a pretty standard map... Until you start killing too much in the water. After too much blood is emitted, it can attract predators like sharks and maybe even more horrific creatures to harm you.... --Front: War-zone: This map takes place in a large mostly-flat area with not much to hide behind other then tanks and debris. Some of the tanks can even be manned and used for REALLY SLOW but DEVASTATING attacks. Sticking in a group will likely lead to victory. Other then that, there's some parts of the map rigged with mines, look out for those... -Death from Above: Air-map: This is my personal favorite map, taking place in and on a massive blimp moving at intense speeds. This thing is huge BTW, it's got an armory that's equipped with exploding bombs, one can suck a player out the window by shooting it depressurizing the room, which can kill them or just land them outside. Outside one can jump but it's restricted to move somewhat slower with a constant pull down-wind, making combat difficult. Note: It can get pretty claustrophobic in areas, so look out when you're actually in an open area! -Media: Penthouse map: This map takes place in a news tower in Germany. It's pretty simplistic, numerous rooms, two floors, and fun (death) to be had in all of them. Look out for the green-screen room though, players with cloaks become 100% Invisible in front of it. -Hidden: Stealth map: This is the last stealth map: It's basically a large mansion with numerous secret passageways and of course, killer drones out to kill any player they find. There's also a gun collection in some of the rooms where one can trade their weapon for another, including a special weapon: The Mauser-HX pistol which basically acts as a pistol-sniper. The drones are you're biggest problem. They can't be killed, only stunned with EMPs and hacks. Making them quite the pain, good news is they're sonar based and will only fire at you if you use any loud weapon nearby. A shotgun for instance would alert them, but a silenced SMG may get by. -Hunted, Combine, and Strong-hold have been confirmed. - Darkness: Dark map: This map relies heavily on what kind of character class you are. A robot like reaper is equipped with night-vision, which is good until you get to a place where light is present, like the beam of a flashlight, to which a human like On-rider may only get a flashlight giving them decreased visibility, but the ability to blind night-visoners. One can toggle both of these with a D-Pad button. This map by the way is a massive cave underground where close-combat is key to a good game. Night-vision snipers may seem like they'll get the advantage, but only if they're lucky enough to find a spot to snipe and not get killed as well. Sub-zero: Frozen map: An arctic tundra, and a big lake. The ground under your feet may not be stable just about everywhere on the map, and the water beneath is COLD and will KILL you, man or machine, after about 1:00 of direct exposure to the water. Bet the nice warmth of that grenade sounds nice now huh? Either way, it's pretty simple: Shoot the player, or the ice underneath you or your enemy to change up gameplay. Ice seals back up after about 30 seconds, so you need to make sure you can get OUT after going INTO the frigid region bellow. Also there's penguin NPCs on this map! You can shoot them, but don't get angry if killing too many of them turns you against BOTH teams in a game of TDM. (Achievement get: Global WTFing. ) Fault: Collapsing map: This map takes place in a small town in Oregon, where a massive earthquake has split open the ground, revealing a top-secret government lab. The map can experience some after-shock, causing some paths to close under rubble, and sometimes paths will open. Either way, this map is basically a big hole with a few tunnels out. It's pretty cool! Repel: Hanging map: This map takes place on a massive mountain side, where one must jump from ledge to ledge to survive. The wall running feature will be pushed here as players fight to be the literal king of the hill. Boom: Cannon map: Middle of the Pacific- Hawaii- Home of the HC-27 BOOM cannon: The most devastating weapon in known existence, a nuclear cannon, capable of almost shattering the moon, for use against potential threats such as meteors only. It's main cannon is so large this whole map takes place inside of it. There's 5 chamber rooms to be traversed, and under no circumstances should the 10 activation switches be pulled in unison, the cannon will launch and kill everyone on the map, forcing a respawn of everyone. Launch:Scaffolding map: This map takes place inside of the NASA space station's ruins in Florida. Have fun traversing the dormant rocket's scaffolding, or is it? Classified: I've always wanted a map like this map: This map takes place in the English's secret service's base. Have fun with all the cool gadgetry and ridable helicopter as it watches parts of the map. Rail: Train map: In the middle of Poland, there's a train station for bullet trains. Use switches as traps for unsuspecting players to be taken out by bullet trains that have switched lines. One can also run atop moving and stationary trains however it IS fast and you will be taken out by a sign if you're not careful. Heat: Desert map: This is the biggest map in this game. It's a massive landscape with numerous hills in an Iranian desert. There's an under-sand ruin area, a bunch of dunes, as well as an oasis with water, and the occasional quick-sand pit, that will kill you slowly. This is the best sniping map there is. Easter egg: The first part of the easter egg requires on to complete the campaign. If one person in the lobby has, Spotlight will be slightly different, specifically, there's a new prisoner which one has to escort out without being killed by turrets. Once he's been carried out, he'll evac and this map's basically done for a while. Now he's free, a different map has changed now: Fault. Normally one of the tunnels exposed by the tectonic shift would be a dead end, but now there's a larger piece of machinery. You'll need the parts from the Nuketown and monsoon easter egg now to repair the machine, likewise the man you released earlier will now be at one of the computers in another room. Once built and operable, one can push the big red button on the wall. "Activating HARRP mechanisms" Now for the next step, you will need to head over to the "Media" map where one can now find that weather anomalies are occurring across the globe. But beside that, head over to the main studio. One must now tap X on the camera to let it film. A responding player will then need to stand in front of the camera and dance around a bit. Here's the cool part. To continue, back OUT of the game and head over to Theater mode. The player who was in front of the camera will now have an EXTRA video which they can watch to get the code "4-1-3-7". The numbers correspond to a code that can be used in the map Launch. There's a door with a code that needs to be put in via holding X on a phone-like grid of numbers on the wall next to it. In put 4137 then push go. It will open the door triggering this message to play: "Hello, if you are receiving this message... Project Walrus is in the process of being uncovered. A train will be arriving in Poland soon, make sure it doesn't reach it's destination. Also... You may need to survive this..." The entire rocket will now begin to launch engulfing the map in fire. YOU NEED TO SURVIVE THE FLAMES to progress. The only way to do that is to rush as fast as possible to the bunker near the bottom of the map. Obviously you need to head to "Rail" next. Where during the course of a normal game, a train far off map will be speeding down the line. Take a sniper and find the red switch off-map. Shoot it and the train will pull into the station, open the train and you'll get the case of plutonium. Next you will need to head to the map "Deep" where you'll need to open the crate of plutonium on one side of the map, then traverse through the water to the other side, fending off sharks and the squid alike. This will power the nuclear canister allowing one to use it. Upon doing so will cause one to exit the game and INSTANTLY be placed into a lobby for the next map: Sub-zero: Similar to the last map, you need to take a bar of a different material to the other side of the map. The issue now being if you get too hot, you die. You'll need to stay under the water for a long period of time to keep that bar from going BOOM. Do that, and you'll get half a mechanical heart. Where is the other half? If you've played it before the map "Classified" has a pipe that has an odd bent opening that APPEARS to be the result of a pipe burst. However insert the heart and you'll find a secret chamber where a group of soldiers are escorting a crate out of there. One will escape with the crate, the other 6 you will need to kill to progress. The runner can be seen again, as there's now an unidentified body at the bottom of the cliff in "Repel". You will need the scavenger perk, walk up to him and you'll collect the bloody note. To clean, simply head to combine, where the water is somehow more favorable then other water points of the game. The note will then need to be taken to Strong-Hold and then "Hunted" to get the black box. The black box can be put into the BOOM cannon on the map... Boom... You will then need to activate the cannon, only it won't kill you now. The end result is after the map is done, the cannon fires. The sky is now laser-green for 1:00 of any map you choose. Head to "Death from Above" to find the shelter is now open, get inside and take the radio, the radio will then need to be placed in the helm of the ship where one then gets a micro-chip. Now we head to "Darkness" where one has to find and put the micro-chip into the large machine. It will stutter and make all kinds of noises. You will need to turn off your light source and fallow a trail of sparking wires to find a door, a door that will open, exposing one to the light, and off in the distance one can see a mansion. In the map "Hidden", there's a new secret passage way if you can find it. Inside is a shrine for an artifact that's missing. The artifact is actually in the map "Heat" where one can enter the temple and activate a chamber which dispenses the artifact in the water of the Oasis. Return to the mansion in "Hidden", insert the artifact, and one finds their reward: a new character! In addition to the original 9 characters for MP. One now has character 10: Malfunction-Project Nova. Mal is a robot, he's pretty basic, but he gets 3 cool abilities. -Number-vision: This can be a hassle, but numbers appear and does sort of a threat detection, only it doesn't show you where people are, but rather how damaged they are (Red-screaning or full health). As an added bonus, little secret messages can appear on the maps detailing some of the mysteries of the camp. -Gas-Cannon: Spits out poisonous Nova gas clouds for players to run into and slowly hack at their vision and health. -Last-Ditch: While running, if one cooks a grenade, they can charge into a player and create a big explosion, but will also take you out in the process. DLC maps would also contain little easter-eggs, only they unlock smaller things, like weapons.
  2. "NOW GO LOOK AT EVERYTHING!"
  3. The next gen console is better: For instance, zombies solo bits can be paused, the Xbox then turned off, and then turned back on to resume the same game! Cloud-servers everyone!
  4. Oh no, AW is terrible. The multiplayer is glitchy and really poorly balanced. The zombies can be glitched in 1000 different areas. And the camp. was amazing, that is... Until you realize 80% of the game's time was spent on the camp, a mode players MAY play once.... The fact we haven't heard of old-gen release until now leads me to think they've only JUST started porting it.
  5. Well remember: Advanced warfare was only given 66% of the time treyarch was given. If treyarch screws up they have no excuse.
  6. Guys, the picture is CLEARLY posed, PS4 controller with an Xbox console? Wait.... Does this mean Xbox one and PS4 are combinining into one console? BLACK OPS 3 RELEASED FOR PLAYSTATION ONE CONFIRMED?!?
  7. This map actually takes place in south america. As the map progresses it gets more and more wet, until at about 5 minutes when the ENTIRE lower map is filled with water. The water doesn't harm you, but debris flowing in it can. Furthermore REALLY low areas can be swum through once the water gets deep enough. Other then that buildings will provide protection from slowing water, but there's a risk of being struck by lightning above. The buildings are aligned in a circle around a small town square which is the lowest point in the map. The insides of buildings can be opened by holding X on a door, but opening certain doors can flood rooms. As an easter egg, if one finds a defused bomb in the flowing debris, they can take it atop the citadel (a large building on the map that can be accessed by ladders to get to it's roof, but is otherwise impenetrable. Place the bomb and wait for lightning to strike, when it does one can descend inside and find a large cell battery you can pick up. This is another component that's linked with the nuke town easter egg I posted earlier. NOTE: You can only hold 3 items at a time, so make sure you know where to put these things so you don't end up swapping them for pieces you don't need. Sorry this map is slightly rushed, I have to be somewhere unexpectedly, sorry!
  8. This is sad. I guess it REALLY doesn't effect anything but.... If they're banking on this pulling in more game purchases.... That's insane. There's no way the time and money expended on this will result in total gain as opposed to not using it.
  9. This concerns me... This may be the forfeit of the entire extra year.... EVERYONE was OK with cutting off the last-gen fat..... Or at least most people... I guess if the game is released for PS3 early I can get one of the old consoles for like.... 100 bucks...
  10. Many people have stated that they'd like to see nuke town return in BO3, and many people have shown "Totally legit" footage of Nuketown leaks. In all honesty, it's not unthinkable that nuke town will be in BO3, infact it's almost more unlikely to NOT be in it. However one has to remember: Thrusts. One of the biggest parts of nuke town was the fact you could hide in corners and behind busses, however if thrust jumps are implemented then these features take a dive. The small nature of the map is also somewhat off-putting. So I've devised a concept Multiplayer map to accommodate these issues. Remember, I'm trying to keep the map as SIMILAR to nuke town as I can without limiting gameplay. There will be sacrifices from both sides, I'm not god. Either way, the map is now called Nuketown: 2065, as that's the tittle most prefer to use. The map now consists of two areas: Above ground and bellow ground. Above ground the two houses are now much larger buildings, inside there's an elevator in the front room of both and stairs along the back of the building in the form of a clear tube. The actual windows of both are now much higher up, to the point thrusting up here isn't possible unless preformed along the sides where the lattice would be in the original map. The elevator can be used to go up, or down bellow ground. The interior of the building is mostly not accessible. The stairs up will only allow you access to the back door and the front of the building's bedroom where one can snipe off the balcony. All in all the 2 buildings are simply bigger, but still similar. Furthermore multiple man-holes around the map are now open and can be jumped down to reach the lower levels. However, certain heavier classes like Reaper can't fit through man-holes. The greenhouse, fire-place, and grill stations are replaced with different futuristic forms of the same thing. Cars are still there and look cooler. Now, should one fall down a man-hole or take an evevator, they may find themselves in the lower half of the map, which is ACTUALLY the ORIGINAL nuke-town which has been buried. You can look around and find the different building aspects, and even see the (recently placed) nuke that will go off, because there isn't one above. Here one has full movement in the underground cave, but the rock cuts off the ceiling just above the houses. Furthermore, if one above finds a red button in one of the houses, they can push it and flood the lower levels with water. Easter egg: As with all nuke-towns, there is an easter egg. Around the map are X amount of mannequin heads, but now, they're androids which will walk and even wave hello to you. Shoot their heads off (all above ground) within 2 minutes and you can then travel to the land bellow, where there's now a bunch of little mini-nukes which can be picked up and thrown like the bombs off the funhouse map in Advanced warfare. Throw one of these at the MAIN nuke and you'll get a warning, and the nuke will be aborted, meaning NO explosion at the end, fallowed by an easter egg song. When one completes the map and starts up the next game on any map, they start with an item in their inventory: A lever. The lever actually plays a part in the NEXT map's easter egg, so wait until I release that!
  11. Spider basically took the words out of my mouth.
  12. -this thread discusses all bo3 ideas and thoughts I have. Movement is just the topic for week 1, next week will likely be about E3, and so on and so forth. This way I'm not spitting out a new thread every few days, they're all combined into one weekly thread. Also excuse this, it was meant to go under BO3 general discussion, I'm doing this from my phone, which is a real pain in the ass.
  13. So, For BO3, I've decided to condense most of my ideas into one post I'll make weekly. I'll have a topic of the week, but it will always be about BO3 info. Week 1: June-5th : This week's topic: Movement A lot of speculation has come up about the movement system. Vonderharr has stated that every MP map will be designed to accommodate both the new movement system, and regular run-and-gun gameplay. No map can't be accessed completely by normal jumps. It's also HOPEFULLY a given that zombies will be given a movement system that DOESN'T have ANY type of boost. This leads me to believe that MOVEMENT WISE, we won't be seeing much of the thrust-jumps. Infact, I don't even think all of multiplayer will consist of too many thrust jumps. The Pre-pre-Alpha attenders have apparently played as 4 of the Multiplayer characters already: Ruin, Reaper, Out-Rider, and Slit...Sylt....Slytheran...Sacajawea.... Idk.... Can't remember the name. Each of them have a movement ability in which they could jump and hold to slowly evolve-style-jetpack out of places. It's slower then advanced warfare and likely doesn't include such extreme boosts. (Or at least that we've seen). Most of what we've seen includes running, thrust jumping forward only, boost-sliding, but no real side-boosting. Now. My personal theory is, with so many variations in jumping and not jumping in MP, zombies, and camp. There's a good chance not every character in MP will have the thrust jump ability. Take these ideas for example: ATD-Type 27: A robot that can't jump in the slightest, but is a super powerful tank. Weak to EMPs, and not much else. Hook: While he can't thrust jump, his grappling hook has it's own advantages! Weak to water environments (where the grapple doesn't work). Angel: Augmented with the latest in flying technology, angel doesn't have the speed of a runner, but can float and hover in air for long periods of time, but not forever, making everywhere a potential sniper tower. Weak to most attacks. The fallen: An older solder augmented only with what lets him finish out his mission. He runs faster, swims faster, take more hits and can run longer, but doesn't have the thrusting abilities of a normal soldier. Weak to heavy attacks. So why I think that thrust-jumping will be the NORM, I don't think it will be EXCLUSIVELY what we have available. I hope we see a wide range of available movement abilities. It will really add to who we should pick for our games: Do we want the grapple, or the under-arm mini gun? Hmmmm...
  14. We'd like to talk about the pipes on Carrier... But leaks aren't discussable on CODZ.

Ahhh... There we go.. (In compliance that you got the joke)

  15. So right now... Spider-bite is looking hard for a second easter egg on the carrier map linked with a bottle he shot in the spawn room of the map... And we're just NOT giving a shit... :Tears of Joy:

  16. Kept a strait smile until It hit "Playstation Exclusive" Then I lost it!
  17. We really need to use the technology next-gen allows for. Games on cloud servers could potentially loose the need for migrating hosts at all (unless one leaves the game on purpose). It also could mean the end of one's internet being a factor effecting lag. (As cloud servers would be held online already, there would be lag from the host to the game, but it'd be better then everyone else lagging and the host perfect).
  18. Perhaps a penalty of a X minute wait if you leave. With next gen technology, or at least Xbox one, when one's power is cut, a solo game still stays active because it's being played on a server, not the console. (Based off of Exo-Zombies) If this is the case. Why not implement a outage-set mode where if one's power cuts off they have until a new player is found to turn the game back on. If they don't then they're simply kicked from the game and a new Player take their place. If they do cut the power back on they're put back into the game. This way the player can leave, but the game can continue on. While there is no 4th player the host can choose: -Continue with 3 players (which will not be counted on the leader boards) or -Resume game with: (Name here) which will show a list of available players looking for lobby's. If one finds one they like they can invite them. If not, they can wait for 4th player to rejoin or for someone new to come up, When a new player joins, they are offered a choice: Resume or Reset. Resume will put the new player in the missing players body, where as reset will give the player X amount of points when the new round begins and 1:30seconds of cloaking if it's past round 10 which keeps zombies away.
  19. Someone please ms me when some REAL proof surfaces. Until then IM OUT!

  21. Here's how I think Exo-zombies is going to go for it's final map. Believe it or not, there's a lot of story to cover here: It's the final map takes place where it all began... New Baghdad. The map takes place in an Atlas Lock-down facility. The story goes that Oz is killed and the 4 get into the submarine seen at the end of carrier. This submarine would eventually find its way to New Baghdad. Upon arrival against land, Linnox gets out and declares it's now mission to take down the atlas associates here. Upon breeching the base, they find a group of scientists and a woman named Edna McCalvitch. She's the voice heard at the end of outbreak. She will also shoot Linnox on the spot. She tells a story of how the regenerative project came about, and how it had been perfected to the point in which the dead can "be made as alive as you..." She will then pull a switch, dousing a coffin in green goo. It's here that we discover the truth. Out of the coffin comes none other then the biggest baddy himself Resnov Menindas Steiner Dragovich Kravchinco Vonderhar ObamIRONS IT'S IRONS! Jonothan Irons (Kevin Spacey) comes out of the coffin a mess, and quickly dresses himself in a suit. In a panic, it's revealed Linnox isn't dead, achieving the same regenerative properties as Khan, Lillith, Decker, and Irons did from the original strand of manticore. He then stands up and fires at irons, who simply laughs it off, takes his gun, and then raises his hands forcing the now-breaching zombies to heel. It appears to be the end for all 4 of them, before Oz appears, and thus causes the zombies to begin to go into a frenzy to figure out which master to fallow. In this bit, chaos breaks loose, Edna disappears into a door which she locks, Irons and Oz are separated by the hordes, and Lillith, Khan, Decker, and Linnox are then left to defend themselves. The gameplay mechanic for this map is actually to control who is in power. If you let Johnothan Irons take control, certain parts of the map behave in specific ways. Meanwhile, letting Oz back into control will do the opposite. You will need to utilize both to succeed. To make matters easier to understand. There are now two NPCs: Oz and Irons. Oz will not harm you, but he can't be responsible for controlling the zombies. Where as Irons will go to great lengths to get you 4 out of the way. But will attack zombies regularly. Simply kill the character you want to fail at that period of time. It's fairly simple, they take about as much hits as a goliath each, but have no armor. As for attacks Oz will simply cause zombies to go crazy. Not his fault and he forgives you because you're just killing him to get what you want. Irons on the other hand will be fallowed by his personal Atlas force security guards that will continue to slowly spawn in until he's killed or in power. Exo-perks: There's but one new perk: Exo bolt- This perk allows one to recover from EMP blasts faster, and not take damage from electric traps. New weapons: -The grapple: This fancy little number can be used as a part of your exo suit to fly across the map with ease. It's a grenade-tacticle with unlimited uses. -The Lazarus: A powerful weapon, it does a few things: 1- It can revive team mates from afar. 2- It works a bit like the VR-11 which turns zombies into humans which will then become destruction survivors. 3- If one toggles the weapon to "over-charge" one can use the weapon a bit better. It shoots out lines like a taser or the grapple, which then remain live until the player moves, zapping zombies that touch it. -Cannon-bomb: A large classic black-bomb with a fuse. It's reusable however, just throw it (tactical grenade) and you can retrieve it over and over. Zombies: Grapple zombie- A basic zombie, only it can grapple to you over long distances. Goliath: Released if Oz gains control. No biggie. Sentinel officers: Guard Irons. Simply enough, they'll keep spawning back over and over. But they don't get harder until round 30 when an occasional Goliath human spawns with them. Purple eyed cloak zombies: These will occasionally turn invisible if shot, but they can still be seen quite well. Dogs, Hosts,EMP, Angry, explosive, and Armored zombies are also seen again. New map: The map is pretty basic, but it's actually decided into 2 sections: The top of the tower which is only accessible by grapple or teleporter, and the bottom, where most of the shit goes down. The easter egg goes that you've got to find the real cure for this process. Atlas of course keeps a spare in case of emergencies. You'll need to do numerous things, such as using a paint-set to write on walls. Then lead Irons past the wall and he'll give you information on what to do next., or using the grapple to pull out specific levers on a wall, or using a weapons disposal machine to obtain parts to a defibrillator used to revive a guard you killed with the Lazarus. The map ends when the players simontaniously drop the cure-goo on top of both Oz and Irons. Irons will start to break down and fall apart in a grotesque manner. Lilith, Khan, and Decker morn the death of Oz, who actually turns out to be OK. Months later, Sentinel discovers the cure to the strand of Manticore. From this Oz, Lillith, Khan, and Decker all survive and are about to be removed from intensive care to return to their normal lives.... That is... Until the other 3 walk away, leaving Decker alone, who reveals he's kept a vial of Manticore with him this whole time.... (Cuts to black, please wait 2 more years for eco-zombies to return)
